『This chair works well as a gaming chair. It does a good job of letting me comfortably hold my back straight for hours of gaming at a time. It also manages to put my eyes right at perfect TV level, which I like. I'm 1.88m or 6'2" tall and the neck cushion is in the almost perfect spot.

Mine came with a strange problem however. Initially I could not get the battery to charge at all. Now with some connector-figeting I can get it to charge. It's not perfect and now that I am able to charge the battery and use it, I notice it's not lasting very long. Mine may have a bad charging circuit or bad battery, not sure which.

This doesn't bother me that much, as I can easily (with my living room setup) keep it plugged in. Also, it looks like it may in the future be possible to hack this chair on my own and add my own batter/power circuits to it as it has a zipper pouch on the bottom giving access to the inner workings. Despite my troubles, I would definitely recommend this to a friend and might consider buying a second one.』

『Well,I bought this chair because of the rave reviews of 7 people. Its a great chair but........ the wireless option does not work. I have charge this thing for days and it flashes red like its a bad battery. I email customer support and they very helpful and they thought it might be the adaptor but then how does it work when I plug it in. The other problem I noticed it that it crackles. I am playing Bioshock and loading it on my new playstation slim 3 and it was smooth jazz but it is static. the movies I watch is crackled. I wish this could handle hdmi or optical wire for perfect sound instead of the old school yellow, red and white wires. I am still not sure if this can connect to the tv since I didnt get the wire for tv. I am not sure if I have to buy it but for the price we should get these. As I type, my movie is crackling and the voices sound mumbled. It came in a huge box so returning it will be a pain. Please have better wires for sound is my major complaint and i hope i can just send the battery back instead of this huge chair. On the good note I am 6 foot and I fit just fine. Maybe it was my luck but it seems others love this chair.



Update: Took four days of charging for the battery to work. the 1800 number is long promotion of site. if you press 0 over and over somewill answer. I never got the that point. still crackles on movies sometimes.』

So why pay $18.75 or $21 something plus shipping if you don't have to? If you pick it up at your local Walmart check for the Season 8 5 song ep as well. This EP is $5 and includes the duets from the Top 4 as well as a track from each of the Top 3 contestants. Both are a must have for any Idol fan.』

(The Core... Good God don't disasters hit the non-tourist areas)
『The Core: 5 out of 10: Disaster movies always seem to do better when the disaster is local in scope. A city threatened by avalanche, a tower threatened by an inferno, a Poseidon threatened by an adventure, that kind of thing. Earth killer movies are always a harder road.

You have your 4 standard horseman of the earth disaster; nuclear war, space invaders, plagues (esp. those that create zombies), and meteors. Lately earth killing movies have gotten creative and lets face it stupid, global warming (The Day after Tomorrow), President George W Bush (Fahrenheit 911) and now The Core with it's well I'm still not sure what broke.

The core of the earth stopped spinning (not the earth itself mind you) which is causing the electromagnetic field to dissipate. Okay, that sounds serious. So that would cause what exactly? Apparently the movie wasn't all that sure so we get scenes of some the lamest and implausible disasters ever. Lets put two under the scientific microphone shall we.

One involves birds going all Hitchcock in London due to their inability to navigate using the magnetic field. Okay that may effect the birds ability to fly south (Oh my god the pigeons they're going east!), but even the Mr. Magoo of the avian world wouldn't start flying into statues and buses.

In another of the all too short montages of disaster a lightning storm destroys the Roman Coliseum. I'm not sure which are more unlikely, lighting striking relatively short rock structure, or the granite exploding when it does. Lightning, last time I checked, was attracted to metal.

But what would you expect from a movie that puts a giant windshield in a rock-drilling machine (Made with that magic metal Unobtainium). Keep in mind I've only scratched the surface of the silliness.

Acting wise Stanley Tucci is a joy, Hillary Swank still kind of looks like a guy, and everyone else is forgettable. The Core is enjoyable in that bad 50's sci-fi kind of way. But they needed more (and more plausible) disasters, and much less well everything else.』

An utterly terrible film about a bunch of astronauts and scientists who have to dive down to the core of the earth--which is in danger of ceasing to spin and thus destroying life as we know it through means that the audience never understands at all--The Core is awful on pretty much every level (writing, acting, sense-making, etc.) and is so stupid it almost (but not quite) comes around full circle and becomes smart again; however, the film manages to reach that fabled plateau of "so bad they're good" throughly enjoyable trash movies and you should definitely rent it if you want a laugh.

(Fun, but Riddled with Cliche)

I tend to enjoy a good disaster movie, and I don't even mind the soft science that almost inevitably accompanies them - most truly exciting threats (like, say, the earth rapidly slowing its rotation) pretty much aren't plausible no matter how you slice it, so just make up some technobabble and I'll go with it.

"The Core" is fun enough for a first viewing, but usually what will keep me coming back is the characters in a disaster movie. Fun, interesting, and amusing characters are good; clichéd, annoying, irritating characters are not. Let's just get right down to the aspect that really turned me off to this movie, and that is Hillary Swank, or rather how this movie treats her. She starts off as a clichéd Renaissance Woman who can do anything and everything (one character even asks her if there's anything she can't do and she replies that there's nothing she knows of), including land spacecraft by eyesight (and mad math skills) on narrow, improvised landing strips. As part of her "character development" (and I use the term loosely) she walks up to newly invented and malfunctioning things and jiggles wires and - viola - they work. I would find this annoying enough, but what *really* gets on my nerves is that the movie thinks this is a bad thing, and a huge amount of time is spent beating her about the head for thinking she knows too much. I hate to pull the 'sexism' card, but compared to all the actual jerks in the movie who *don't* get a dressing-down talk, it's just flat-out irritating.

The other major thing that turns me off to "The Core" is that the characters die off so predictably that it feels like they have numbers on the backs of their jerseys. I realize that the Alpha Nerd and the Obligatory Girl have to survive to the end (it's Hollywood Law), but would it be so much to ask that the other characters not line up and take a number on the movie wheel-of-death? One death in particular is so ridiculous and unnecessary that the only "excuse" offered is that the laughably bad ship design was due to the rushed building period, which is particularly funny because you'd think with *every Nobel prize winner ever* on the job, SOMEONE would have pointed out the rather glaring design flaw. Then again, maybe the problem is that pesky "no Nobel prize for mathematicians" thing - oh, the delicious irony.

In all seriousness, I liked the plot of "The Core" just fine, I just wish that there'd been a bit more polish on the script and pacing. There are a lot of genuinely scary moments and a lot of really funny lines, and if they'd just shaken out the clichés and put a little more originality into the movie, I think it couldn't be very good - as it is, it's pretty much standard disaster movie fare with nothing to really stand out as unique or interesting.』

This movie was panned by the critics which immediately gave it credibility as good entertainment. Critics don't care if a movie is fun for the audience - they only care if it was a challenge for the actors. Hilary Swank wasn't going to win another academy award for this move but it was 10 times the fun to watch this movie then the movie she did win one for. Great special effects, Action, comibined with a science fiction theme and a great supporting cast make this a fun flick. The only downer was a lack of solid romance and humor. Those two ingredients would have put this movie over the top. If you like action science fiction - this is the movie for you.』

I figured I would try and take the lazy man's way and use the accompanied software wizard to set it up however I just couldn't get it to work or work properly on Windows7. But to play a little devil's advocate here it was not advertised to either. I logged into the router with no problem and manually configured it with ease. The separate wireless network feature is outstanding. The control it gives me per user is even better. This router protected me during a severe Winuke attack and held its ground. 『I have been on the lookout for a capable consumer-class router for some time. Over the years, I've used and tried a number of different products from D-Link, Linksys and Netgear, so I've gotten a good experience with functionality and reliability of the various brands. Yet, the last few years, I've tended to run into snags with all the various routers. I won't go into details, but suffice to say that I've ended up buying a new router every year.

Here are my impressions of this new router.

Netgear, the manufacturer of this, the WNDR3700, seem to finally have made a very good and thoroughly engineered home router product. I will compare it to my previous router, a Netgear WNDR3300, which I decided to replace due to instability and random reboots, seemingly under heavy data loads.

This Netgear product sports the same online control interface that all Netgear consumer router products has used for years, so if you're familiar with them, you'll be familiar with this.

The installation is a breeze. The unit is affixed with stickers that make its physical setup foolproof - the things you need to plug in have stickers with LARGE FRIENDLY NUMBERS IN BRIGHT COLOURS.

Out of the box, it is a very nicely designed unit. Netgear has gone with a terrific streamlined look, and abandoned the flashly (no pun intended) battery of blue LEDs on the side of the WNDR3300 (annoying, so i always turned it off; would probably induce epileptic seizures in some people if left on) - the 3700 has exactly the diagnostic and activity LED's you need to see whats it's doing, and nothing more. It's utilitarian and sleek, not over-decorated. Otoh, it avoids the boring sandwich-and-brick look of most D-link routers, and Netgear has wisely also avoided plastering the router with all-blue LED's for the diagnostic lights. All LED's on the 3700 are green during normal operation (amber for errors), with the exception of one, the 5 Ghz WLAN LED, which is blue. I'm happy with this; blue is a nice colour, but EVERY manufacturer of digital equipment thinks so too, so you can hardly get a thing without BRIGHT BLUE LEDs anymore.

In operation, I'm likewise very happy with it. My reason for switching from the predecessor (the 3300) was that heavy data traffic semmed to cause heavy packet loss; and when the WLAN interface was active, I would experience as much as 30% packet loss (tested over several hours running pings on several nearby hosts).

I've stress tested this with both heavy data traffic, saturating my outbound internet connection, and activity from multiple clients on the wireless bands (both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz, also simultaneously), and nothing touches it; the packet loss is not noticeable, or in specifics less than 0,1% at all times. (I recall having the same problem with lost data or no availability when the WLAN was heavily active on a D-link DIR-655, which resulted in my replacing that. I'm wondering if this is a general problem for some routers.)

Wireless ranges seem somewhat better than the predecessor. I'm able to get somewhat better 802.11-n connectivity than with earlier N-capable routers.

The web interface for the router is fairly easy to get the grips with, but is likewise showing its age. It works well, and is fairly easy to comprehend, yet Netgear should give it a makeover - HTML frames are so 90's. :)

I have not tried the external USB storage function yet, so I can't say anything about that. I'll try that later.

All in all, for the price, this is a gem. The installation, setup and configuration is a breeze. It's functionality is spotless. The gigabit (1000 Mbit/sec) interfaces means that it has enough throughput capability to serve your home / home office or small office network in regards to collaboration and file sharing for years to come (which is more than can be said for 100 Mbit networking still found in some networking products, which in this day and age feels like a ball and chain around the leg of people who do file sharing regularly).


I'll continue to test and poke this router, and I will revise this review and rating, should any problems show up. But for now, I'm overjoyed that the quality I'm familiar with from Netgears Professional products seems to has made it into their consumer segment as well. Well done, Netgear - do keep it up.』

It looks so beautiful and sophisticated in my room. (Honestly, people always comment on it; the ooooh's and awee's always ensue).

I used to work IT (and no, it's not the geek's who oooh and awe, they do that over my cisco rack, but that's another issue altogether!)

My previous router was a linksys and while I'm not a big fan of the whole GUI interface, this router makes me appreciate the linksys interface all the more.

The interface on this guy is clunky, there's no easy way (heck there may be NO way) to see who all is connected to your network wirelessly (I needed to get an ip address off a device so I could connect and couldn't find it anywhere, even though it was connected (that device being a wireless bridge))

The interface is just quite clunky for me.

Please do not let that dissuade you by any means (once you get it working (which takes MAYBE 2-3 minutes) you'll likely never venture into the gui again).

I love having 802.11n (it's like I'm living in the future!), being able to stream content off my desktop to my laptop in high speed is just so amazing (previously only had 802.11g (stone age, I know).

This guy performs almost flawlessly. I've gotten disconnected a few times with my macbook pro as well as one of my game consoles, but for the most part it is quite consistent. (I know I got disconnected from my router because I could not access it via the routerlogin.net and needed to unplug and start it back up to get back online).


Pros:

Looks drop dead gorgeous (honestly, It's like a beautiful futuristic piece of art, the sheer look of it brings an unparalleled joy to my life (might be over doing it here!))

Works as you would expect, easy to connect to, future proof, and it supports all the latest technical protocols (also has a guest network access feature, as well as the ability to track how much bandwidth you use).

You can hook up a harddrive and stream it to your other computers, as well as to your game consoles (did not try this out myself).

It just works, all I did was unplug my old, put in the same info into my new one and I was off in minutes (the longest part of the process was opening the box).

Cons:

Interface can be clunky at times, ok so I need to click here, watch the middle screen, and then scroll down and click that button, then wait for it to refresh? Gotcha!

Day to day usage with 802.11n will not make much a difference to you (unless you're streaming HD video from laptop to apple tv or something). (This is NOT a con of this device, just something that needs to be said).


Bottomline? Features almost all the same specs and features as the apple device, works great, looks absolutely awesome (standing vertical) and the lights, ahhh, the lights, they bring such life into an otherwise dull room (filled with blinking red lights and the occasional green light having yellow and blue just makes life..."better".)

If you need (or just want) 802.11n you cannot go wrong by picking this up. Highly recommended (just don't hide it like you did your old crappy router that looked horrible, this one looks nice, much better than the picture would have you believe).

『My wife and I bought the wii remote chargers because having to buy batteries ever so often is such a hassle. So far the charger is working great! The only thing I have to note about it is in the instructions it says that when the remote is not on the charger the light indicator is red. This is not the case with our charger. It doesn't show any color at all. The only lights that are displayed are blue (charging) and green (charged). If you don't like buying batteries for your controllers then I suggest this product.』

We've owned this little unit for 2 years now and it's been fantastic. The units works as advertised and keeps our Wiimotes charged for hours of gaming fun. The only problem we've ever experienced with it is, well, you can't use it with the Wiimote protectors that are shipped with the the Nintendo remotes, so we've just taken them off and don't use them at all. The other thing is that, occasionally, if you don't seat the Wiimote properly on the unit, it won't charge. We have to pull the wrist strap string tightly forward otherwise it keeps the battery from making contact with the unit. Other than that we've had zero problems with the unit or the rechargeable batteries which are still going strong. Highly recommended.』

(My granddaughter's favorite game)
『I'm always on the lookout for Wii games that my 5-year-old granddaughter can play. This has been the biggest hit yet! She loves this game. She has played it through numerous times - collecting all the pets then starting over again. She loves dressing the pets and taking care of them. You can quickly switch from one pet to the other and then scratch, feed, and dress them. She loves all the games that are included.

The main goal is to adopt pets. You start with three pets. You earn the right to adopt more pets by playing games with the pets you have. The games are fun and can be played at any time. There are three levels (easy, medium, and hard) on every game, so they are suitable for a wide age group. I love playing some of the games. You earn "kibble" by playing games and picking up coins. The kibble is used to buy new pets, toys, and accessories. There are a variety of pets - a monkey, a polar bear, a giraffe, cats, dogs, and ponies - and they are adorable. You can go to the salon and select accessories - glasses, collars, and hats - for each pet.

There is some reading throughout the game, and each pet has to be named. She doesn't read or write, so she needs my help with those aspects of the game. Children who can read and write would need no help with this game. My granddaughter and I both love this game, and we love playing it together. I highly recommend it!』

It is so girly and cute. She loves dressing up her pets and making sure they are happy (fed and scratched). I have no complaints about this game at all. It is the perfect game for girls!』

『My 7 year old daughter picked this game at Gamestop (priced better on Amazon, even with reward card). We obsessively played together for three days to unlock all the new worlds (Plaza {already unlocked}, Garden, Winter, and Jungle). We collected all the 33 characters (including Giraffe {we google searched for cheat code}) along the way! All the characters are so cute and you can dress them up!

You have to complete all the mailbox tasks to progress in the game. There was only one task (asked two times) that was frustrating. You had to dress all designated characters in the same 3 accessories for a task. Then you'll want to redress them back. That was sort of a pain, but just a minor frustration in a lot of FUN!

My 5 year old son prefers Mario Kart, but he still had fun playing along with us. Now that the Littlest Pet Shop game is completed, we will enjoy playing with all the characters in the 4 different worlds with the 16 mini games. We love exploring the worlds and playing on all of the fun equipment like slides, tight rope, swings, hamster wheels, etc... You can also visit certain coin houses from time to time and collect tons of coins. These open back up periodically as you play!

I would deffinitely recommend this game for all young children! I would buy from Amazon for a few dollars cheaper too.』
