I've never been more than a few feet from the router so I can't comment on the range. It was delivered in like 2 days which is cool. It was a little hard to install, but I was specifically trying to use it for the PSP. (Remember to use the right drivers. :) ) If you are just looking for a wireless adapter the installation is basically plug n play.

Both my laptop running Vista and my PC running XP have the adapter installed and working. It didn't take too long to set it up on either OS, the xlink website has some great tutorials on getting this adapter up and running and synced with the console for both Windows&Mac operating systems. There is a bit of lag in the adapter detecting that I have left an ad-hoc room, but it is nothing major. The only problem I have is that occasionally other hunters will not show in the Gathering Hall, however I do not know if this is an xlink problem or an issue with the adapter itself. I defiantly suggest getting this when it comes back in stock!』

All that said, my 5yo loves it and the poor graphics haven't phased him at all (my boys are used to Gamecube graphics). I actually even enjoyed the bowling game though I think after 3 or 4 more games I might have mastered it. The fun part of the bowling was that my 4yo legitimately beat me at it the first time either of us played (and I'm a pretty seasoned video game player). The baseball game is ok and fun (in an old fashioned way) when playing against a real person. The tennis game is almost unplayable while golf and boxing are just barely playable with very little replay value.
Overall, next time I would probably invest my $[...] in a good used Gamecube game instead of this system. I'd recommend finding a used console before buying this.』

(Winter Jams) 『When it has came down to Mario&Sonic At The Olympic Games when it came out last year for the Nintendo DS, it really was a big surprise that really delivered better than was the case with the Nintendo Wii version, in controls and in gameplay. While the Summer Olympics has been over for over a year, now it is time for the Winter Olympics to come alive in January or February in 2010. But with all that feeling, there are so many people tyring to figure out what would be the best game to summerize the Winter Olympis. Back in 2006, there were so many that felt like they were just missing a lot of edge, and a lot of gamers chose other titles. With all the hype around now, Mario&Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games has finally arrived for the Nintendo DS. But there are some tweaks here that are different around, but is it worth it, or is it just a figure 8 accident? Well, it really isn't bad.
Mario&Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games for the Nintendo DS brings in a lot of the excitement and the gameplay that has delivered well from the previous game, but there are a few new things here that make the gameplay a bit different. First if all, there is a new Adventure mode that you have to go through, where you have to accomplish certain golas and unlock all the events through the story. At times, it can take a lot out of you, but is the only way you could get to play alll the games, before you master the game. There are also new characters coming to the game including Metal Sonic, Donkey Kong, and Silver Sonic. The events range from ice hockey, the luge, to skeleton, downhill skiing and ski jumping, speed skating, to rarely recognized like the Biathalon (skiing and skeet shooting targets), as well as dream events like the original Mario&Sonic At The Olympic Games. The graphics look great, the control is mostly strong in some events, but at times during some of the events like Ice Hockey, it can be a bit frustrating, especially when you're using the stylus at times, and takes awhile to get used to, but the gameplay is really a lot of fun to maintain.
Overall, while Mario&Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games is a great title for the Nintendo DS, there could've been a little more. Nevertheless, it really is a great title to enjoy for anyone whom had loved the original version, and anyone who is eagerly awaiting what is next. I really like the game a whole lot, and I absolutely recommend this as a great addition to your Nintendo DS library. While you might await to see what does come next year and who will win the Olympic Gold Medals, but for right now, let Mario&Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games handle in the real fun.

In the end it offered a lot of very good platformming game play. The story is forgettable for adults, but is fun to play through for the platforming puzzles. There is depth for more moderate gamers to find and collect all stars. Getting more lives is very easy so you can keep playing nearly endlessly, but some levels and bosses are quite difficult. It might be too difficult for many uncoordinated casual gamers not used to the tough control needed in some places. It is too hard for my wife.
The wii motion controls seem to work pretty well. The galaxy apsect overturns the normal up-down expectation since things change when you jump onto another planet or walk over the side of an object. (Best Wii Game I've Played!) 『I have to say that this is the best Wii game I've played yet! The storyline isn't necessarily all that novel or interesting (and it's a bit childish at times) but the gameplay is awesome. The controls are relatively easy to pick up, especially if you've played past Mario games (like Mario 64). It's not incredibly difficult, but some of the levels and bosses do provide a challenge. The large numbers of worlds and levels will keep you playing for a while, as well as the need to return to past levels to collect "star bits". The best feature is the clever use of "gravity" that allows you to walk all the way around spherical "planets"...it's a great twist on a classic game.』

(Too difficult and annoying!) 『I see that this game has gotten so many rave reviews, but I just don't get it, I really hate this game. The game is annoying because you have to sit through so much drama without getting to play anything. Finally when you do get to play it is too hard and the camera angles shots are not always great. I don't play too many video games now a days, but I used to play a lot when younger and loved the old Nintendo and Sega games. On this game I cannot even get past the first planet with the bunnies, I'm not even able to catch one of the darn things, I don't see how younger children are able to play this. On the other hand, my husband can do it easily and gets pretty far and really enjoys this game. I guess it is not for everybody, you either love it or hate it. We both really love Mari Kart, it is tons of fun.』

So far the charger is working great! The only thing I have to note about it is in the instructions it says that when the remote is not on the charger the light indicator is red. This is not the case with our charger. It doesn't show any color at all. The only lights that are displayed are blue (charging) and green (charged). If you don't like buying batteries for your controllers then I suggest this product.』
(Steady power) 『 We've owned this little unit for 2 years now and it's been fantastic. The units works as advertised and keeps our Wiimotes charged for hours of gaming fun. The only problem we've ever experienced with it is, well, you can't use it with the Wiimote protectors that are shipped with the the Nintendo remotes, so we've just taken them off and don't use them at all. The other thing is that, occasionally, if you don't seat the Wiimote properly on the unit, it won't charge. We have to pull the wrist strap string tightly forward otherwise it keeps the battery from making contact with the unit. Other than that we've had zero problems with the unit or the rechargeable batteries which are still going strong. Highly recommended.』
