『Have had this USB keyboard for a couple of months now, and have been very pleased. I plugged it into a Windows XP-operated portable, and it worked without any further set-up.

I particularly love the "old-fashioned" feel of the keys--set high, with a definite click: if you're a fast typist, you'll fly on this keyboard. The touchpad is very responsive. My one negative comment is that the touchpad is a little too small, and set more deeply than usual into the body of the keyboard. I got used to it after a few days, but I have small hands and wonder if someone with big fingers/bid hands might find it clumsy.

A fine choice (actually one of the only choices) if--like me--you prefer a touchpad to a mouse, or want to save desk space.

UPDATE: I wrote my original review in May '08. It's now November '09, and just want to add that the keyboard has remained trouble free.』

(Good, until it goes crazy)
『I bought two of these. The idea is exactly what I was looking for -- a reasonable size keyboard with a built-in trackpad.

I'm very positive about the layout, except for a row of extra, unlabeled keys under the CTRL, Win, ALT that seem to have no purpose.

Both keyboards worked fine for a while, although, personally, I didn't care for the feel and position of the mouse buttons. Then, each of them, without any predictability would start going crazy, as if someone were typing like mad on the keyboard. The only way to get it to stop was to unplug they keyboard, wait, and plug it back in. I called Adesso. They suggested installing drivers (why? I tried to argue, it's clearly a design flaw since both have the same problem). I installed the drivers. It made no difference. Every now and then, sometimes within 20 minutes, sometimes within days, one or the other of the keyboards would go crazy. Adesso suggested getting a PS2-to-USB adapter. I bought two, and, you guessed it same thing. I tried both of the keyboards on two additional systems with exactly the same result. But, by this point, the warranty had run out.

Maybe they've fixed the design flaw, maybe not, so be prepared to return the keyboard.』

『I bought this to use on a computer I have in my basement in a very small cabinet. I added a pull-out drawer, but there wasn't any room for a mouse on the tray. This solved the problem and I haven't had any issues with it.』

『Installation was no problem, and it worked fine until today, when all of the letters on the left side quit working! (I used it about a month, and not a "hard" use either).』

(Unrecognized - and apparently not configurable.)
『I bought the USB version of this keyboard, and unfortunately Windows XP recognizes the touchpad as a Microsoft HID compatible mouse rather than as a touchpad. Installing the driver recommended by the manufacturer resulted in the message, "There are no valid devices available to configure." I contacted Adesso customer support. They were unable to help me, and in fact informed me that tapping on their touchpads cannot be adjusted. It isn't possible to use it as is: the slightest change in the pressure used on the pad registers as a mouse click, and as a result objects are dragged randomly across the screen, processes are randomly activated, etc. I will have to return it and find another manufacturer.』

(A Good Start for Relaxation)
『I bought this product for myself and was really excited to try it. The first time I used it I found it a little hard to relax because it is a bit noisey and not totally comfortable. The next morning I thought my face seemed a little swollen - especially around the eyes. I tried it a couple more times and found I was able to fall asleep while it was operating - definitely a good thing! Also did not experience any further swelling so not really sure what that was all about. All in all it is nice to help you relax.』

『I have been taking migraine medication for years, this product will not cure a migraine, however, it provides immense relief until the Relpax kicks in. If I get it out early enough, sometimes I don't need my medication at all. I get them in my eye and the back of my neck. It really allieviates the pain in my eye socket, use massage pillow for the neck relief. I would recommend this, not as a stand-alone, but as an aid for immediate relief.』

『The music is good with many choices but the massage doesnt deliver for me.The vibration mode although having approximately 5 different types of vibration none of them are deep/strong enough for me to make any difference.There's the air pressure modes that are reasonably relaxing-it squeezes your temple and eye areas and then spontaneously deflates- but again not relaxing enough for a deep relaxation seeker like myself.The infrared heat would have been promising except its only light heat and doesnt go anywhere near warm enough-i dont know if it was just my product,if it was defective, or whether they've designed it not warm enough.The massager was also noisier then i expected-especially on the vibration mode but it doesnt really bother you as you have the music playing which blocks it but it might bother if theres any people around you.Overall i give a 3 star rating-good for someone whos not too fussy with their massage products and just looking for light relaxation.Better then just the useless vibrating products but still not good enough to satisfy/cause deep relaxation.』

『I've been wanting a DDR for years, but didn't own a gaming system! Just recently god a Wii and yesterday I bought this newest bundle of DDR. I never played the old ones, so I can't compare, but this one is AWESOME! The songs are the real thing, and most of them have the music videos too. I started playing this morning and played for over an hour without wanting to quit. I broke a sweat and had a ton of fun. I am not in shape at all (215 lbs, short), but after this first contact with DDR, I know I'm setting my self up for a more active life-style.
Highly recommend for those who get easily bored with exercise, and who enjoy puzzles.

『I am 51 years old, and like to work out with the Wii for my exercise. I have arthritis in my right hip and knee, and find the steps in this game to be doable. I even have 'jumps' turned on. I also find the step patterns easier than DDR1 to keep up with.

I love the fact that the music is the actual artists singing, and the original music videos are in the game. Such as "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. I highly recommend this product.』

『Hottest Party 3 is the second DDR game I own for the Wii; the first one being Hottest Party 2. The game is fun, uses both feet and hands for dance moves, but the hands may be disabled. The game offers several modes of play for single and multiple players including a workout mode that is very effective.

Pros
Large initial song selection list; larger than version 2
Large selection of original songs with video
Easy list interface; much easier than version 2 hierarchies
Option to unlock all songs in Hottest Party 2, if you own it
Good variety of song genre; note it favors Pop

Cons
Songs are trimmed versions of the original
Video resolution is standard definition, and does not offer an option to "zoom" and fit to screen
Video box smaller than the actual game screen; compressed resolution makes videos looked washed out
Interface is not point-and-click requiring navigation using the cross-arrow pad on the controller
Interface inferior to the polish of the Wii or other games such as Wii Sports

I believe this is a missed opportunity for Konami. I expected Konami to set the standard for DDR games in the new generation of consoles, but it seems Konami is waiting for one of its competitors to enter the dancing game category in full force. One only has to play RockBand, Guitar Hero, or Singstar to notice the complacency that Konami has fallen into in regards to music games.

Overall, this is still the best dancing game of this generation of consoles.』

(Great game but has some hands-on control issue)
『The game is great. You can watch the real videoclips from the featured artists while you dance. It has new modes that will let you use it even during parties. The only problem I've found (and others have published on many forums) is that the hands-on feature has some flaws. Now it requires you to move the nunchuk to the left and downwards, and the wiimote upwards and to the right. This new feature is a really cool idea and it would've been awesome if it worked well. Just as DDR 1 had issues picking up your hands-on movement (and later fixed on DDR2), DDR 3 has this new addition that (probably because it's new) has recognition issues and it really destroys all your combos.

The good thing is you can choose the other modes and not use the wii controls at all. This lets you enjoy the game perfectly. I just wish they had tested it better before launching the game.
