『Although VoIP is slowly moving more and more mainstream, a device as flexible and as configurable as the Linksys SPA3102 is not for anyone who either is not comfortable with programming the ATA with your VoIP provider's SIP settings or coming up with an approprate dial plan for your device that is compatible with your provider. With that as a caveat....

This device is PHENOMENAL! I love the potential for PSTN dialing (either by prefixing your calls with a code or by programming certain numbers--like 911--to go directly through the PSTN line). By manipulating the dial plan, you can also program certain key combos (*101 for example) to speed-dial certain numbers. You can program the SPA3102 to allow yourself to dial into your device via your VoIP line and then subsequently dial out the PSTN line (using a number of authentication methods including caller id, PIN, etc.). Likewise, you can set it up to allow yourself to dial into yoru device via your PSTN line and then subsequently dial out the VoIP line (one way to save on long distance?). It's robust, reliable and cheap (just $10-20 more than a PAP2T-NA). Just be prepared to do a lot of googling and "self tech-support"! In all seriousness, there is a wealth of information out there on the SPA3102. It is a popular device for VoIP users and is often the BYOD (bring your own device) of choice!』

(Just don't use the PSTN)
『I generally like this product, but there's one problem with it.

Likes: Lots of options, VOIP stuff (the most important stuff) works fine.

Dislikes: The PSTN functionality is very poor. If the unit has no power, it just passes the PSTN connection through, which is fine. Kind of a 'fallback' mode if there's an electrical outage. However, if its powered on, the PSTN audio has a distinct and annoying echo. You can mitigate it a little by tweaking the "Echo Cancellation" settings, but you won't get it to go away, and it was enough for me to decide just to ditch the PSTN line and go VOIP only.』

(OK with 3CX to connect to my AT&T line.)

(Great for small thumbs!)
『I recently got into Geometry Wars Galaxies, a retro space shoot-em-up. Unfortunately when using the wiimote and nunchuck, I found my left thumb would tire very quickly because I had to stretch it to reach the taller analog stick. Fed up with thumb cramps, I rushed out to the 24 hour Wal-Mart to amend the situation.

The result: I absolutely love the classic controller. Its small size fits nicely in my little girl hands and thumb fatigue is virtually eliminated (for the first couple hours at least...) thanks to the shorter analog sticks. Because I missed out on video games as a kid (my parents thought children should do things like "read books" and "play outside"), it's fun to get that old school gaming feel with updated games and no pesky cords tethering you down (the classic controller plugs into the wiimote).

I'm not sure how compatibility works concerning the classic controller versus the GameCube controller, but I definitely prefer the sleek look, small size, and increased mobility (wire-free) of the classic.』

『This controller is a very nice quality peripheral, but playing most Wii games (outside of the old console downloads) you really aren't going to be able to use this at all. That in turn makes it useless, there needs to be some games that don't require motion, EA could even do a fresh port of BLACK and allow us to use this controller.

This controller is a way to attract core gamers, if they gave us the option of playing FPS, and other mature games with it. Yes Wii is a family (room) system, so there is bound to be a hardcore gamer in the house probably pulling their hair out because they want a game that doesn't require them to sweat it up all the time to game hard.

The upcoming Wii FPS "The Grinder" should give us the option of using a Wii Classic Controller.
It would also be a perfect remote for fighting games too (CAPCOM, give us Street Fighter 4, if you can do Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube, you can give us Street Fighter 4 for the Wii, forget the WiiMote on that note). I don't even care if you make a special Street Fighter 4 for the Wii that looks like Street Fighter 3, it would sell.

SNK, give us King of Fighters 12, AGAIN forget the Wii-Mote, that game is do-able for the Wii, but companies look over the Wii with their new awesome games knowing that it could work with the Wii CLassic Controller. Thats bogus!!!

So this controller is in a similar boat as "Wii Speak", has the potential, but right now there isn't a lot going for it.』

『I highly recommend this controller for your VC games except your N64 games. I would use a Gamecube controller for your 64 VC games. But, this controller is excellent for your other games say for instance NES,SNES,Genesis,etc. Works great for games like Brawl and Mario Kart Wii.

The controller has kind of a good and bad design at the same time. The design works well if you are playing your games using the D-Pad. If you have bigger hands like me it feels kind of odd at first using the analog sticks and you will have to position your hands accordingly. Also what I did was I purchased the NYKO grip which really helped in my situation.

The controller is of good construction. With this being a 1st party controller its easy to note it has durable plastic and does not have the cheap feel to it that a lot of 3rd party controllers do. The D-Pad is completely perfect which Nintendo has been known for a lot of years.』

(Works well for everything but Pacman)
『This works pretty well. I bought two of them so I can play multi-player Virtual Console games, because they're required for a lot of downloadable games on the Wii.

It doesn't do well at Pacman though. Not many controllers do, so that's my ultimate test of a controller. It's good for Mario and other stuff, though.』

If you have a Gamecube controller and are planning to play any games other than SNES then you don't need the Classic Contrller. But if you're looking to download some SNES games. You need this. 『One thing that happens constantly at my place is Rock Band parties. One thing that hampers these fun parties are cords. I can't stand them and what inadvertently happens is a web or cords that (sometimes drunk) people have to manuever around. It's not exactly the best experience at times. When I heard that Logitech was bringing a cordless mic to the party, I got excited for a couple reasons. Of course there's the aforementioned cord issue but also that Logitech makes some great (albeit usually expensive) products. The Wireless Microphone fits right in that same area.

Setup is a breeze. The package comes with two main pieces, the microphone and the holder/USB receiver. Plugging the USB receiver into the Xbox 360 provides you with the wireless capabilities but also doubles as a place to hold your microphone when not being used. It takes AA batteries which is good and bad. I really enjoy products that have a built in rechargable battery, but this also allows quick and easy replacement if you're in the middle of a party and don't have time to recharge.

The microphone works very well. It's more like a full-sized microphone that I'm used to at Karaoke bars and has a nice, heavy heft to it. It picks up your voice a lot better than the mics that come with either Rock Band or Guitar Hero and the sound quality it picks up is also much clearer. I even used it on my PC and recorded some voice tracks to test the quality and it works wonderfully. Ultimately, you get what you pay for and the Logitech microphone excels at both a more maneuverable option and as a great quality microphone. Very much recommended.』

『Having recently become interested in online karaoke sites, I was more than intrigued by the Logitech Wireless Microphone and knew I had to have one.

I was at first disappointed that it uses batteries rather than being rechargeable. Then I realized that I actually prefer the batteries so that if you run out of juice while using the microphone, you can quickly change the batteries and keep going rather than having to wait until the device recharges. Plus, I can use rechargeable batteries in it, which satisfies my wish nicely.

The sound quality is just stellar. I've been more than pleased with the quality at which it records the vocals and it seems to do a fine job of not picking up background noise in my home (cats...)

The setup is a snap. There is no software to install, simply plug the wireless receiver into a USB port on your computer and you are ready to go! Well, there is a very quick driver install, but Windows had no trouble finding those quickly. The setup is practically invisible to the user.

For my needs, the Logitech Wireless Microphone is more than perfect. I highly recommend it to those looking for a good quality wireless microphone for their PC.

『We are a rhythm game home. We play Rock Band, we play Guitar Hero, and in the days of olde, we played Karaoke Revolution. This microphone is a bit on the pricy side, but because it works for so many consoles and so many different games, I think the price is worth it, if you want to go wireless.

When we play Rock Band or Guitar Hero, it's usually with a house full of mildly drunk friends, so if there is a sensitivity difference between this microphone and a corded microphone, we couldn't tell the difference. It's nice to have one less cord draped across the living room, but the really great thing about the cordless microphone is I don't have to constantly ask people to not hold the microphone by the cord and swing it around during the lyrically lacking parts of the songs. (Yes, people actually often do this.) Not only was that bad for the microphone, but also bad for my nerves. The lack of an additional cord is especially nice when playing the Beatles Rock Band; it's like a spider web in the house with those three part harmonies. That being said, I don't plan on spending the money for two more of these to become totally lyrically cordless, but the cordless will be the first choice microphone in our house.』

『I've never used a CD scratch removal tool that works. From time to time though I like to buy products just to try them out, so I gave this one a whirl. This CD scratch remover was no exception. I used to have a couple of CDs with a couple of small scratches. Now I have a couple of coasters with sunburst patterns of scratches all the way around. This product is a joke; don't buy it>:(』

『I have small children who have scratched so many of our DVDs making them unviewable, that we were looking at hundreds of dollars to replace those beloved movies. We have tried many repair systems, some of which only damaged the movies further. The Skip Dr not only works brillantly, but it is very easy to use. And both the price of the original system and replacement parts is extremely affordable. Take it from this Mom you can stop looking, because you have found the best and most affordable option!

『Need to run a disc through a good number of times to get scratches out. I enjoy audio books and check them out from our local library. I'm finding many of these discs are in rough shape, so I bought this unit to help with the consistent skipping problems I find. I still get skips after running a disc through 2 times, so I need to get used to running the discs through more then that. At that point, it's kind of a time thing. How many times do I really need to run a disk through? It seems Digital Innovations should have a scratch depth to allow for a longer repair process. Let the device churn for 2-5 times as long as the normal process. Heck, integrate the spray solution into it so it automatically squirts onto the disk so I don't have to do that. Be fair though guys, don't bathe the disc in solution and run us dry on the cost of refills.』

(FANTASTIC)
『If you're thinking about getting this just get it. I used to have the old hand cranking style one before this thing came out. I eventually had it hooked up to a power drill to automate the spinning. But this thing even does a MUCH BETTER job resurfacing the discs. For a light cleaning run it through 1 time. For minor scratches run it through twice. For very many minor scratches all over the disc run it through 3 times. 4-5 times if the disc is really beat. But get this, after you rinse the disc and then use the buffing cloth I was truly amazed to see discs that once looked beat down and FULL of scratches, coming out looking fresh turning the quality from say 1 star to an easy 4 star quality disc.

0 star discs are any disc that has deep scratches or marks, this obviously won't repair those. But surface scratches, no matter how many, this thing completely removes them. Just keep runnin it through until you're happy. As far as the visable lines, you have the use the buffing cloth to get those out. they should make another one of these for that purpose alone.

If you just have a few discs the cranking one will do you fine. If you have many don't even bother with those and just get this trust me, your arm will be worked enough just buffing all those babies.』

I recommend the set for play, but was a bit dismayed that they are made out of a relatively fragile plastic so they are easily broken off stands if stepped on and small parts, such as German hand-grenades and rifle barrels, are easily broken. The set arrived with half a dozen or so broken parts already. Overall, the set is okay, and I only say that because of their lack of durability and price, which is a bit steep. But, as I said, my son loves them and plays with them.』

『This is a great game that my kids and the neighbor kids all love! We've had it for almost a year and it's still going strong, despite being dropped several times on the hardwood floor. Anyway, Christmas morning she opens it up, and I plug it in to the family TV set. Nothing but garbage on the screen - wavy lines, wierd characters, etc. I'm pretty techy, as are her Dad&Stepdad. The three of us screwed around with it for about 30 minutes before giving up.

Since it was only $30, rather than mess around with returns, I just ordered another one, and we threw the first one out. When the second one arrived, she and her friends seemed to enjoy it.

Bottom line, don't be surprised if it either arrives DOA or doesn't work for very long. It's very poorly made. But again, for $30, what do you expect?』

『I'm buying my fourth one of these because I love them so much for Halloween. Although I'm not a fan of white cake, for some reason, white cakes baked in this pan taste good. Perhaps it's the cream-cheese icing I use, but the ghost cakes still taste better than ordinary cupcakes.

One cake mix will make about 18 ghost cakes. (I use a scant 1/3 cup of batter per ghost cake.)

Since I typically make at least 3 dozen cakes, it will help to have 4 pans, so I can have two pans in the oven while I prepare the other two.

This is my favorite Halloween baking accessory of all.』

(What you expect for this price)
『What can you expect for this cheap price? Obviously, this is not a high quality tool; not like the ones you would see in a professional environment.

But I needed one for home to maintenance my computer. Forget the Philips screwdriver, the quality is too low; you're better off getting them at your local stores. What I really wanted was the Torx screwdrivers. Again, not high quality, but the assortment of the bit sizes were nice, and I was able to disassemble my Mac with out messing up any of my screws.

So I have to say it does get the job done right and at a really good price.』

『Having read a bunch of reviews on other similar tool sets, my main worry was that the bits would be too soft to hold their edges and get stripped easily. There was one review at the time I made my decision to purchase that noted that the bits were "solid". I second that opinion. I will still be very careful when using them, but they seem very hard and unlikely to strip.

As soon as I received the set, I used them to take apart a hard drive using the Torx bits. I'm glad I got a set instead of a single Torx driver, because the hard drive I took apart needed 2 different bit sizes. Using the bits and driver I had no problem getting the hard drive apart.

As a bonus (for me), the set of flat head and Phillips head bits are perfect for tightening those eyeglass hinges that get loose over time.

I think this set is a great value for the price.』

I've purchased sets in the past for a specific job and paid low prices, only to find out that the "Made in China" items were flimsy and weaker than the screws they were supposed to remove. This set is SOLID and the multiple tips will keep you busy for hours. 『This is a good, affordable tool to use for opening up your laptop in order to replace the harddrive. Personally, I used it to take out the screws from the bottom of my macbook pro 13', and replace the 160GB harddrive with a 7200rpm 320GB harddrive, and also I replaced the 2GB default ram with 4GB ram.

These days i use the magnetized tips as a way to collect the bolts after I used a different screw driver to un-tighten them.』

『Horrible straightner- wet to dry never worked for me. I am caucasian woman with wavy hair, I had to turn the iron very very high just to get it to straighten properly. Also, had to return the product before I ever used it bc I dropped it and the plate fell out of iron. Highly disappointed!!!!』

It worked fine until a month ago when the cord started making large crackling sounds that would randomly cause the iron to turn off. 『My hairdresser recomended this product. I have think wavy hair and a lot of it. I had a HAI ceramic and it worked great, but i dropped it, so i though i would upgrade. I hate this iron. The size is super small for lots of hair. The wet to dry thing did not work. I had to blow dry first or go over small amounts 5-6 times before it became dry and flat. This product almost trippled my styling time! I wasnt satisfied at all. This is not to say that someone with less hair and finer hair, couldnt do just fine with it.

『I snagged this from Vine because earlier in the year I received a very similar product. Actually, it was pretty much the same thing. Basically it makes networking different electronics in your home much simpler. Setting up your Wii to go online even when it is nowhere near the computer is a breeze. It works quickly and setup was no problem at all. I ended up gifting the original product to a family member since I actually didn't really need it. I think I will keep this one though, just in case.

I did not actually pay for this, but I will say the price is a bit high, however, the product really seems to work and I recommend this to anyone that has had networking issues in the past. Especially when it comes to connecting your home theater. Overall, a cool product that does exactly what it is suppose to.』

『Ok, so you've got the modern home, a couple of game systems, maybe a wii and a ps3 or an xbox. YOu have a cable box that can connect to the internet. Maybe you have an Apple TV or a blu-ray player thats internet radio and netflix ready.
Or perhaps you live in a 3 floor house, your wireless router is on the bottom floor near the cable router but your office is on the third floor.

What do you do?

Before your options were somewhat limited, you could use your wireless network, with the accompanying limited bandwidth and security issues (how many times have you logged on to a random network on your phone??). Alternatively you could run wires throughout your house, poke holes in the walls, or run wires up to the ceiling and around the room. In the process you'll either spend a significant amount of money to get wiring put in professionally, or you'll piss your SO off with wires zigzagging everywhere, honestly, nobody wants to have to run 4 cat-5 cables to their home entertainment system.

The NETGEAR Home Theater Internet Connection Kit (XAVB1004) solves these problems with an incredible simple plug and play solution. The kit consists of two components, one, is a Powerline AV Ethernet Adapter (XAV101) that plugs into the wall by your router, and into your router. The other is a Powerline AV Adapter with 4-port ethernet switch (XAV1004) that you plug in wherever you want to have ethernet ports (on the third floor or by your tv). In tandem these turn the electrical wiring in your house, your power-lines, into an ethernet connection. They allow you to stream, "wirelessly" 100mb/second in each direction, allowing for as much speed as one could desire, without the actual ethernet wires.

In truth this works exactly as expected, while the speeds realized weren't exactly 100mb/s in each direction, i did realize speeds in the mid 70s. I had no trouble streaming Netflix in HD onto a laptop while playing CTF call of duty on my Xbox. Essentially this solved all my wiring problems.

One thing of note: you have to plug these directly into outlets, no power strips, surge protectors, or backup batteries. It has to be plugged into the wall directly for it to work.』

If your household is like mines several of my home theater components can connect to the interet with wires. The problem is that my modem and router are in a different room and running cable to the entertainment center could be problem in your house. Luckily for me I can run my own CAT 6 cable anywhere I need but to be honest, it's a HUGE pain.

When I was given the chance to try the Home Theater Internet Connection Kit out, I jumped at it. This product that could solve the Internet connectivity issue that many of us suffer from with our home theaters. The system is called the Home Theater Internet Connection Kit. The kit is a powerline networking system that allows users to connect multiple devices to the internet at speeds of up to 200Mbps. That is enough bandwidth to stream HD video to and from connected devices. The kit includes a single AV adapter with a 4-port Ethernet switch and one Powerline AV Ethernet adapter. This units claim a throughput of 200Mbps (max - real world performance is probably much lower), multiple inputs, and really easy installation.

The question is....does it really work? Installation: easy-breezy, install one device into your home theater and a second near your router. With the Netgear Home Theater Internet Connection Kit, you actually get 4 priority labeled ports for your gear. That means that if you want one piece of gear (like a game system or Blu-ray player that you use to stream Netflix) to be allocated the most bandwidth, you install it in port 1. For the most part, however people rarely use so many Internet connections at once.

Like all Powerline products that I've seen, the Netgear Home Theater Internet Connection Kit has an encryption system. Netgear is using a 128-bit AES data encryption that can be either set by a push of the button on the units or via included software if you have a computer running Windows Vista. There are status lights that indicate the data rate you are achieving.

I'm impressed by the prioritizing of the Ethernet ports. At first I didn't think I would use it but if you plan on steaming videos, you'll use it. The only thing that I didn't like was the design of the switch. To me it look horrible BUT, I'd take the ugly box with the extra port that works any day of the week. One thing to remember, however, is regardless of their claims, high speed Internet is generally not as quick as they'd claim. From my tests I have found that for the most part you'll notice no difference between the direct connection and the powerline solution, with demanding applications (like streaming content), the powerline solution will be inferior. Better than wireless? No doubt. But when you have the choice between a powerline solution and a direct connection, the direct connection will always be better. But when you don't, powerline is the next best thing. For more home theater enthusiasts, a product like this is a must. It works....so easy it was almost like magic.

This keyboard fixes all that crap. also you can use this keyboard with some games when inputting your letters for character names. 『Its a good keyboard... It's compatible with all of the Wii's menu's and it is also compatible with various channels, like the internet channel. It is also compatible with all of the Wii's homebrew, eg Guitar's on Fire, Guitar Fun, Debian Etch for Wii, etc. It was only worth buying because it's wireless and matches the Wii, though, any USB keyboard would work... By the way, if you're using a regular keyboard on the internet channel, you can use Alt + Enter to press Okay.
It lacks some keys, if you're using it on a PC. It doesnt have the Print Screen, Scroll Lock, and the pause keys... But, it does have keys exclusive for the internet channel. Also note, the Page/Home scroll keys don't work...
IMHO, the on/off switch should be larger, it's a bit of a hassle to turn it on and off everytime you start your Wii. Oh, and the reconnect button doesnt even do anything, ha. The battery life is decent, it could be longer, but its wireless :\』

The Hannah Montana video game features three game-play modes including Pop Tour, Free Play and Head to Head. In the Pop Tour mode your challenge is to move your way through major cities while adding additional songs to your play list. Your progress is monitored by a "Crowd Meter" that indicates how well you're playing each song. If you play a song well you can advance to another city and add another song to your repertoire.

In Free Play mode you can choose from any of the songs you have unlocked in the Pop Tour mode and play to your heart's content. You can also compete with a friend in the Head-to-Head mode, where you each take turns rocking out to any of the songs unlocked in the Pop Tour mode. To get started, simply have an adult insert four AA batteries into the guitar game controller and hook up the controller to a television with the AV cables provided. Once you've got the main menu up on your screen, you can choose the Tutorial option to learn how to play notes, strum a chord, play held notes and use the Crowd Meter. After you've become familiar with thee guitar game controller, you're ready to rock! The Gallery provides a place for you to view all of the awards you've won during play.

I absolutely recommend this book as a must have for any Wii-head heart and soul. 『Okay, I admit it: I haven't used this strategy guide. But that just goes to show you.

I was skeptical about ordering this after finding out that it has the exact same pages as the single guide for Metroid Prime 3 by itself. "Hmm, that's peculiar," I thought. "If the guide for MP3 has the exact same pages as this guide, how can this guide fit 3 guides into one?"

Nevertheless, I ordered it. To my aghast, I perused the book and found that the guide was short and didn't go into much detail. I read other reviews about this, and found that some of the pictures don't even match. I didn't bother to check, but this one doesn't seem like it'll have info on extra content within the Trilogy Collection.

I regretted buying this, but was still able to sell it and bought the three single guides. Sure, the first two refer to GameCube controls, but that can easily be remedied by simply adjusting the GameCube control scheme to the Wii's.』

『I never got play the first two games and Metroid to me is one of those games that if you want to collect everything the guide is important instead of walking around for hours on end trying to figure it out. You could always use youtube but it's quite annoying to go to the internet all the time and back to the game. I'm playing through Metroid prime's first game. The guide is pretty good but it is a little vague. You also have to read clear which room you need to be in, sometimes it's not the most straight forward. Besides that it's not a waste and has helped all the way through.

They should have made this guide twice as big since I know Metroid Prime 3 has just as many pages as Metroid Prime Trilogy. Like the other reviewer said, the original guides I bet are better but you might be spending more money getting all the 3 guides and guides for the first two games will be hard to get. This will get the job done but yes it's on the vague side but not useless and will get you all the power ups in the game.』

『Ok, I need to say that I get every official strategy guide that is released with each game I buy. So I was able to compare this one with previous MP guides by Nintendo Power.

I REALLY MISS Nintendo Power doing their own guides..heres why.

Prima seriously COPIED&PASTED every bit of information from the original NP guides and condensed them into one confusing guide. I know this because every pun, phrase, and ERROR can be found perfectly duplicated. If Nintendo didn't allow them to do this, then I could see a lawsuit but who knows?

The MP3 section also copies the original Prima guide perfectly. Which was not very good to begin with anyway.

You may ask about if the new content that was added to MPT is included in the book? Very little, they loosly cover MP1 and MP2 credits and what you can unlock with them. I know its not rocket science but this is why these books are created.

If you want a good guide for each game I would seriously recommend finding the originals. They cover pictured steps as to where to go and are more in depth. Nintendo Power released a guide for MP1 and MP2. You are out of luck if you want an easy to use guide for MP3 since Prima bombed on that as well. For understanding of credits and how to unlock, check out gamefaqs.』

(An Issue of Credibility)
『I remember the great athletic ability of Darryl Strawberry; the man who once hit a titanic home run at old Busch Stadium in 1985, that banged off the Longines clock way out in right field. He was truly "the man".

I also remember the forlorn look on his face during the 1986 World Series when the taunting Boston fans were chanting, in unison, the derisive, "Dar-ryl"; repeatedly. Clearly, this man was still in many ways, a vulnerable young man; almost a boy. I felt sorry for the kid, and wasn't overly displeased when the Mets went on to win that World Series. Being from St Louis, I really disliked the Mets, ever since Keith Hernandez went over there, mid-way through the dismal '83 season.

Still, the Cards-Mets rivalry in the mid '80s was an enjoyable episode for fans in both New York&St Louis. Strawberry, a very talented slugger, seemed to have everything going for him as he cruised through the decade.

The dangerous combination of money, "rock star" fame, a troubled childhood with an abusive father, and a permissive society, made it all too easy for Strawberry to escape into the abyss of drugs and alcohol. Like his father, he became an abusive and forlorn husband; his slide deeper into the abyss left him on the outside of baseball's glamorous world; suddenly an outcast. This only perpetuated the situation.

Has Darryl Strawberry really "found his way", or is that just a convenient way of pretending everything's okay now? Has the "finding my way" slogan just been conjured up to sell books; has he really found redemption in God, or is that just another folly in the saga of Straw's checkered history of alcohol&drug abuse? As a society, we tend to give people the benefit of the doubt; however, based on past performance, there's an issue of credibility for this man. I hope I'm wrong.

In the meantime, I found his story to be interesting, but not as compelling as it might have been if I didn't somehow think this was bit of a fairy tale, told by the author. I really hope he lives happily ever after. Only time will tell.

『This book was an interesting read for someone who followed the 1986 Mets and Strawberry through the years. It gives a lot of insight into his early years of baseball, what players are thinking and how they feel as they are becoming a baseball superstar. The reviews pretty much cover what's inside the book, but I found the chapters on the '86 championship year the best part of the book. Strawberry really brings you inside the team, the personalities, and the high expectations on himself and the team. He also talks about returning to L.A. to play for the Dodgers and his reasoning for joining the Yankees in the late 90s. Overall I rated the book four stars because there are some chapters that didn't catch my attention but the good ones are worth the price especially if you get this book on Kindle for less. Enjoy!』

『A fast paced reading I could hardly put down. A little short on the game and his teammates.

I grew up a 1986 Mets fan and even received a Strawberry glove from my father but he wasn't even one of my favorite Mets because I always expected more from him just like most fans. We expected 40/40 every year with a .290 avg and 100 rbi's a year. He came close but he was no Willie Mays as we all expected. We never appreciated Straw as much as Lenny, Mookie and HoJo because they looked liked they hustled and we expected less from them. All Mets owe a deep gratitude to Straw because if it wasn't for him in the middle of the lineup the other guys would not have had as good statistics.

In the book he shows us just how mortal he was. He struggled just like everyone else but he made it look easy on the field. No one knew his pain and self inflicted problems to this degree. It is truly amazing how many comebacks he had, like 3 or 4 and he succeeded to a degree by just getting back on the field.

We all know that he and Doc had parrallel Hall of Fame should of careers. He shows us in this book that talent alone will not be enough to succeed but a reliable support staff and self worth are needed.

On another note I wish he could have spoken more about the steroids issue since it began in the late '80's. He should as well others be reviewed in higher regard because of his nonsteroid use.

In final I wish Straw the best and continued success in his future endeavours. A great natural talent who showed us the best and worst people can be.』

His seasons with the Dodgers, Giants, and Yankees were interrupted by suspensions, visits to rehab, and treatment for colon cancer. But in 2006, Strawberry's life changed course dramatically. With his wife, Tracy, he devoted himself to his church and to his work with children and adults affected by autism and other developmental disorders.

The description and pictures of the Wii console made it seem as if both controllers in the box were wired, when in fact the remote is wireless and the nunchuk is wired. So in essence I bought two Wii wireless remotes for the wrong reason. Now that I have three wireless ones, I'm not upset about spending the extra $35. You never know when one will die, when you'll accidentally break it, or get angry enough over losing a game to intentially break it. Now I have an in-house back-up for any case.』

As comfortable as it is functional

The Wii Remote is equally comfortable in right and left hands and houses just the right number of buttons for gaming- not so many that new players will get confused, but enough so that Wii games don't feel constrained. On the face of the remote are the D (or "plus") pad, a large "A" button which is used for major on-screen actions, and two small options buttons. Between the game buttons are a plus and minus buttons (which often act as "forwards" and "back"), as well as a "Home" button to engage the Wii home screen to change settings or check remote battery levels. On the back side of the controller is a trigger-like "B" button, perfect for timing releases of a bowling roll inWii Sports.

Thankfully, battery life is excellent with the two included AA batteries, just as with the previous generation of Nintendo wireless controllers.

Immersive intelligence

Along the bottom of the Wii Remote, four blue LED lights indicate which player position the remote is currently set to. The controller automatically connects to the Wii console via Bluetooth wireless technology. Below the LEDs, an expansion port lets you connect a number of devices including the Nunchuck and Classic controllers for Virtual Console gaming (Virtual Console games and controller accessories sold separately).
