『Why is the Hybrid AA battery better? The Hybrid AA Battery is the next step in battery evolution. Original Alkaline batteries could only be used once and had to be thrown away. Bad for the environment, and bad for your wallet. Why throw money away? Ni-MH Rechargeable batteries were the solution, they could be used over and over again, but they had to be charged right out of the package, and would slowly drain even when not being used. If left sitting for a few months after being charged it would drain completely. The latest and greatest battery technological improvement, the Hybrid AA, overcomes these limitations by being ready to use right out of the package and holding it's charge up to four times as long. You can charge your batteries and they will be ready to go when you need them, no more charging immediately before use. *These batteries will work with any device that uses AA batteries, and replace any obsolete Alkaline AA or Ni-MH AA batteries.* COMPATIBLE w/ FLIP Video F130B F130W F160W Video Ultra Ultra Hd F230B F230G F230P F230W F260B F260N F260P F260W』

Since we usually play in front of a bunch of people, we thought it'd be cool and flashy to have these sticks for our outdoor night sessions. So we throw in our favorite game: Guitar Hero Metallica and were about 30-40 seconds into a song (can't recall which one, but if you've played the game you know it can be drum-tastic), and I see this plastic projectile fly past my face and our drummer laughing his ass off. Mind you, these we fresh out of the package moments before. Although it was funny to see these things snap in half, especially in front of like 30 people, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Unless you have an absolute feathery drum style, these pieces of crap will not last. Better to invest in a comfortable drum chair (or maybe a small fan to point at the drummer if he's a profuse sweater :P)』
(Too noisy, OK overall) 『I found the light effect less impressive than I thought it was going to be, but it's still fun to watch it go off when you hit it and fade away after a couple of seconds. The weight is a little more than the original Guitar Hero drumsticks but that didn't bother me.
A real turn-off was that the sticks are very noisy, to the point that I had to crank up the volume on the TV real loud so I could hear the music. For some reason this drumsticks generate a vibrating noise (i think it comes from the juncture between the transparent part and the non-transparent bottom) that reverberates.
I'll go back to wooden drumsticks but will keep this for when showing off Guitar Hero to my friends.』
(don't waste your money) 『These sticks are junk. Do not buy. The battery compartment is poorly designed and if you aren't really careful your sticks will be broken before you ever get to play with them. It doesn't really matter that much because if you do manage to get the batteries in them and working properly they are only good for about 10 minutes of play time because the sticks are plastic and snap very easily. Also they are about 4 times the size of real drum sticks and when your drumming with them the plastic slap is so loud you can't hear the game.』
(Sucks) 『Rock Band awesome, rock band two drum set awesome, these sticks okay I got them knowing they'd break sometime but not in the first week of having them. the soder on terminal for the leds to flicker broke off so I was okay with clear drum sticks but then used again and then item broke(seriously) in half at the grip so now I have one working drum stick. Not worth the money. Best Buy carries newer one solid plastic two piece(to this one with like 6) item which is much better, same price. Check out best buy before this item. Never threw them or beat the crap out of them they just up n broke.
5 star for Rock Band and Guitar Hero 1 star for these sticks』
(Illuminated Drum Sticks) 『Got my nephews Rock Band for a gift and had to get these fun drum sticks to go with it.』 『Tired of the original wooden, small diameter drum stick. Here is your perfect alternative. This whole body of this drum stick will light up in flame red or electric blue when strike on any surface, giving you a dramatic light show when playing drummer in Rock Band. Now who said drummer is always sitting behind the scene!! The tip of the drum stick is also coated with silicon to reduce annoying thumping noise when playing.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Love It) 『I've had this Mp3 player for at least 3 or 4 years now and it's still going strong. I recently upgraded to an 8 G Fuze (also an excellent Mp3 player) and I gave this player to my mom. She likes that it has a radio. This Mp3 player is easy to use, light weight, and at a great price. You'd be surprised how many songs it can hold!』
(Very Handy little Device) 『This is the 2nd one of these that I have purchased (my other-half has 2 as well). It's rather easy to use. Holds a ton of music, and comes with the ear-buds, a battery, and a USB cable to plug into your computer.
This is not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it works for what I need - it plays mp3s.
There are a couple of quirks: 1) Occasionally, after booting it up, it will hang. Just remove the battery, and put it back in again. 2) It will not always start on the track where you stopped it last. This means the battery needs to be replaced. 3) If you delete files from it, some space still may be taken up by it. You really should to use the Sync option with Windows Media Player.
Otherwise, I use it often (when I'm taking the bus to work, riding my bike, or on a plane/train trip). And for the price, it's a winner in my book.』
(Nice mp3 player) 『I own 4 of these mp3 players. The range in capacity from 1 to 4 gigabytes. Obviously I really like them.
PROS: They operate by using 1 AAA battery. I repeat, 1 AAA battery. That is the single best thing I can say about these units and believe me it is a HUGE plus. I DO NOT have to worry about battery life. I keep one of these little gems in one pocket and an extra battery (rechargeable or not) in another pocket. If my battery runs low I DO NOT have to take my player "out of service" while I recharge it's expensive built in battery. I simply change the readily available AAA battery that powers it for hours on end. How nice is that?
FM tuner. When I first bought one of these it was hard to find a unit that had any sort of radio reception. This one does and it works well.
Recording capability. This unit can be used to record notes classroom lectures, etc. as it has a built in microphone. The quality is not great but it will do.
It is easy to use once you get the hang of it. The software and instruction manual that come with this unit are simply bad. Fortunately I got help online from SanDisk and other sources. I use Rhapsody to manage my players and I have no problems.
CONS: Lousy software. Windows media player is NOT good for managing this unit. I use Rhapsody and it works great. It took some time and persistence on my part but I now under- stand how to use and manage these players.
No video capability.
Relatively small capacity. The largest unit available holds 4 gigs. That's more than enough for me but it's not for everyone.
Bad headphones. So what else is new? I can't remember the last time I got decent headphones with a music player whether it was a tapedeck (I am a member of the over 50 set who used and remembers the first 4 AA battery eating cassette players), mini disc player, or mp3 player.
I really like these units. I know what their limitations are and I can easily live with them. I am sorry to see that none of the newer mp3 players (not even SanDisk) run on "disposable" batteries. They are all powered by very expensive to replace built in batteries. I will not be buying anything with a built in battery unless I have no other choice.
』
(This is pretty cool...) 『I use this to listen to music in my car. It did fit as much as I wanted on it and it does take a minute to figure out how to get songs on it, but once you do it works great. It does prefer to be used with Windows Media Player rather than to have files dropped on it. You can set it up to be a drive or as a music device in Media Player. Works great and is awesome on batteries, big plus!! Only downside is that it is not expandable. Oh, and it is bigger and bulkier than it looks.』
(Can't delete from the player...) 『You can't delete songs or podcasts after you've listened to them. You need to go back to your computer and take the file off from there. Frustrating for those of us who listen to podcasts or audiobooks and want to immediately delete after listening.』 『This Sandisk m250 2GB MP3 Player comes in a recyclable easily opened white cardboad box that eliminates wasteful color printing and minimizes using PVC windows and difficult-to-open plastic blister packs normally found in traditional retail packaging. Weighing not much more than its power source (a single AAA battery), the Sansa m250 2 GB flash memory digital audio player is a full-featured, ultra-portable MP3 player. The m250 includes FM radio and voice recording, a backlit LCD screen that displays ID3 tag information, support for multiple file formats, and full compatibility with most subscription services. The 2 GB Sansa m250 will hold approximately 32 hours of CD-quality MP3 tracks (encoded at 128kps) or 64 hours of WMA tracks (at 64kbps). It's compatible with MP3, WMA, secure WMA, and Audible audio file formats. The backlit LCD screen shows ID3 tag information for the currently playing track (song title, artist and album). Navigate the music on your player with ease, sorting by artist, album, song title, playlist or other criteria. With five equalizer types, you can optimize your sound for your favorite style of music, such as, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Pop, and Custom (user-defined). Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Get EA Sports Active instead) 『The workout is ok and fun, but there are other options now for this type of game...I like the EA Sports Active much better』
(great way to get in shape.) 『My wife and I love the WII Fit. It's gotten us both exercising and it makes it fun.』
(Adds some fun to exercise) 『I don't have problems motivating myself to exercise, but variety is essential to keep yourself engaged in the process and striving for continual improvement. This is an excellent way to do just that - the exercises are fun, the graphics are engaging (albeit rather low-rent looking and oftentimes too "cutsy" for my taste) and the routines are effective. I've been very happy to have added this to my work out routine.』
(First Impression is Everything...) 『I have Wii Fit and recently Wii Fit Plus. I was really excited when I got this. I love to work out - I run/lift weights 5 times a week and take a boxing class once weekly. I guess you could say I am a little more on the muscular side - I stand 6'1 and weigh around 200.
To have someone tell you you are overweight, when in fact you are ANYTHING but, is one of the most insulting things imaginable. I'm sure this has been said many times before here and everywhere, but Nintendo needs to fix it's BMI problem for the next game. The game doesn't take into account muscle mass at all - My recommended weight was 170! 170! I'm 205 right now, under 8 percent body fat! OK, so moving on now...
There are some pretty fun workouts here. My top two are the "Plank" for abs, and the Hula Hoop game. I will say, for the most experienced gym rats, and those who are already in good shape - you may not find these workouts to be satisfying at all. I found some of them to be way to easy. This game is more for people who can't find the time to go to the gym, and want to get in shape and work out but don't want to kill themselves doing it.』
(Game) 『Wii Fit won't make your body transform. Don't count on that. It's mostly just a game. If you have very little workout experience, you might benefit from it. If you workout already, you won't be challenged.
There are only a couple of things on it that get your heartrate up-and when it does-it's not for long. That's the hula hoop and the boxing.
The running will get your heartrate going, also. You can work your way up to running for 30 minutes at a time if you care to. I use it only for the running. My husband and daughter, who don't exercise much, play the balance games.
One thing I like about it is that you can use it to track your weight. I like that I can weigh in on it and look back to see what I weighed a month before. It shows you on a graph.
I don't like when it "grills" me. If you set it that your goal is to lose some weight, it makes comments about that. I will share my personal experience with that. I had gained one pound from the previous day's weigh in. It said something along the lines of, "Due to complex changes happening within your body, you could see a weight fluctuation of as much as two pounds." That's all fine. The next day, I was down a pound. (probably fluid retention) and then a couple of days later, I had gained only 0.3 pounds--not even one pound-and it started grilling me. It said, "Why do you think you gained weight? Have you been eating too much? Have you been slacking on the exercise? Do you not know?" and I entered that I didn't know-because well-I was eating well AND exercising so that was my only other option--and then it lectured me about how I should pay more attention to what could cause such a thing to happen. Now-while I appreciate that it said such a thing because there are some people who might need that kind of tough-love, I did not need that. It was ridiculous to me that a couple of days before, when I had gained a pound, it was understanding and then a couple of days later, I had not even gained a half pound and it was giving me the third degree. Perhaps they should modify it so that comment would only come on with a 5 pound gain? Once I had gotten similar comments after that, I had figured out how to bypass it entirely. I set my "goals" to be that I want to GAIN weight. Then, it doesn't do that any more. The fact that you can add on to this product makes it somewhat worthwhile. The balance board is good for other games available.
If you want a game-get Wii Fit. If you want a better workout, try EA Active.』 『The active-play phenomenon started byWii Sportsnow spreads to your whole body thanks toWii Fitand the pressure-sensitive Wii Balance Board, which comes bundled with it. Used together players will experience an extensive array of fun, dynamic and surprisingly challenging activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and balance oriented games. The focus of these activities is towards providing a "core" workout, a popular exercise method that emphasizes slower, controlled motions, but it's the fun approach to fitness ofWii Fitthat will keep players hooked on fitness for years to come.
TheWii FitBalance Board The primary tenet ofWii Fitis balance. Your center of balance, the point between your left and right sides when you stand upright, has a lot to do with your health. Those without an even center of balance will be unnaturally compensating for this imbalance, which causes their posture to become misaligned, increasing the possibility of putting unnecessary strain on their bodies. This is where the Wii Balance Board comes in.Similar in appearance to a step aerobics board, the Wii Balance Board is much, much more. Easily capable of supporting weights up to a maximum of 300 pounds, it is sturdy and precise, able to measure weight and register pressure accurately when placed on a variety of flat surfaces. This advanced level of sensitivity allows for both the wide range of activities found in theWii Fitsoftware as well as the board's amazing ability recognize individual players by their weight alone.Getting Started: Create a Profile Before you jump into doing exercises and activities, you'll start by creating a profile. This is done easily and intuitively by simply choosing a Mii, entering your height and age information, and doing a few quick tests that will serve as a baseline for your new Wii fitness regimen. These tests are:
BMI Check: BMI, or Body Mass Index, is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that is the standard used by agencies such as the World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health. To check your BMI, you'll enter your height then stand on the Wii Balance Board and let it read your weight.
Wii Fit Age: After you've checked your BMI, you'll do a basic balance test and find out your currentWii FitAge. This basic balance test measures how well you can control your left and right balance. Based on the results, you'll be assigned a Wii Fit Age.
Four Categories of Fun Once you have created your profile it's time to have some fun.Wii Fitfeatures four main categories of exercises to choose from: Strength Training, Aerobics, Yoga and Balance Games.Wii Fitwill guide you through the first three with the help of your own virtual personal trainer, while the balance games offer variety and fun to help keep you engaged and excited about your fitness goals. In addition, as you spend time exercising, you'll earnFitCredits that unlock additional exercises and activities within your favorite categories that will allow you to continue to push yourself. See more detail on the four categories below:
Strength Training: Put your strength to the test with muscle-toning exercises like Single Leg Extension, Sideways Leg Lift, Arm and Leg Lift, Single-Arm Stand, Torso Twists, Rowing Squat, Single Leg Twist, Lunge, Push-Up and Side Plank, Jackknife, Plank and Tricep Extension. Challenges include Push-Up Challenge, Plank Challenge and Jackknife Challenge.
Aerobics: Get your heart pumping with fun, interactive Aerobic exercises like Hula Hoop, Basic Step, Basic Run, Super Hula Hoop, Advanced Step, 2-P Run, Rhythm Boxing, Free Step and Free Run.
Yoga: Work on your balance and flexibility with Yoga poses and activities like Deep Breathing, Half-Moon, Dance, Cobra, Bridge, Spinal Twist, Shoulder Stand, Warrior, Tree, Sun Salutation, Standing Knee, Palm Tree, Chair, Triangle and Downward-Facing Dog.
Balance Games: Get into the action with fun, balanced-based games like Soccer Heading, Ski Slalom, Ski Jump, Table Tilt, Tightrope Walk, Balance Bubble, Penguin Slide, Snowboard Slalom and Lotus Focus.
Keep Track of Your Progress Because keeping fit is an ongoing process,Wii Fitalso tracks the activities you do the most and puts them into your Favorites category. With this information players can note exercises and activities that they are strong in, as well as others that may need to improve at. Some of the ways players can use this information for are to:
Keep tabs on your daily progress with easy-to-understand graphs and charts. Using your personal profile, you can set goals, view a graph of your BMI results over time, see how many Fit Credits you've earned, check yourWii FitAge and even enter exercise time you've done outside ofWii Fit. It's all about coming back and exercising a little every day, and the personal profile makes tracking your daily progress simple and easy.
Quickly check yourWii Fit Ageand BMI without even putting the game in the console by going directly to theWii FitChannel.
Allow up to eight family members can create their own profiles inWii Fit. On the profile-selection screen, everyone in the family can see each other's recent BMI progress and Fit Credit total. This will allow families to have a friendly competition to exercise and get fit.
Variety, fun and progress tracking;Wii Fithas it all. So, Wii owners if you ready to reclaim your balance and get fit all you need isWii Fit, a few minutes a day to play and the urge to have fun. Get on board today.』 『The hit combination of Wii Sports and the Wii Remote brought golf swings and tennis serves into people's homes. Family members will have fun getting a "core" workout, and talking about and comparing their results and progress on a new channel on the Wii Menu. Lean to block soccer balls, swivel hips to power hoop twirls or balance to hold the perfect yoga pose. As users stand on the Wii Balance Board, included with Wii Fit, their body's overall balance is tied to the game in a way they've never experienced before. There are a total of 3-ways to play: Wii remote/ button controls (holding the remote sideways), Wii remote and nunchuk/ motion control, and Wii Balance Board/ movement and motion control! Punch-Out!! also includes a solo Training Mode&a 2p VS. mode (2 players).』
(Original Enhanced Punch Out!!) 『I'm apologizing in advance for not liking this game, but hear me out.... the actual GAMEPLAY on this game is pretty good. It's just like the original Punch Out!! but the opponents are MUCH faster and difficult to beat. I play with the sideways Wii controller, so imitate the classic NES gameplay.
I'm not a fan at ALL of the enhanced graphics and the way the opponents trash talk. I think they're silly, and completely over the top. I liked that in the original Punch Out games, that you were fighting MEN. Bald Bull in this game literally roars like a Lion and does things no human being could do. I'm not even sure he's meant to be human in this game. I just think it's completely silly and irritating.
Finally, the 3D graphics are a bit disorienting. The screen shot is too "busy". There's too many lights flashing and flickering, and too much going on in the background. I also think the animations are disorienting as well. There have been times where I've played the game for an hour and felt like I'd just been on an ocean liner.
All in all, don't like the game at all.』
(Great return for a Nintendo classic!) 『So we got the Wii Punch-out for my brother for Christmas because he has been a fan of the older versions since he was young. He still gets around to playing both the NES and SNES versions from time to time. So we thought this would be a great addition to his Wii collection.
He has enjoyed it from the first punch, as have I. It can be a real work-out for your arms, and, if you use the balance board for dodging, a real work-out for your body. When I'm burning a sweat playing a Wii game, I know I'm having fun!
We both love the characters from the past games in here and how geared to their respective countries they are. For example, Glass Joe, who is from France, speaks in French and from time to time during the fight steps aside and says, "Viva la France!"
The graphics seem cartoony on the box, but there are some great realism. For example, if you really go for the stomach on an opponent, it will start to turn red from all the hits. Go for the face and it will get swollen or a bandage might get applied during rounds. Also, no Mario as your ref; instead it's an average joe looking guy. As for the sounds, the theme song has been upgraded from the old 8-bit version, but some of those 8-bit sounds (like when an opponent goes down) are still there. I don't think you can have Punch-Out without those sounds!
I'm looking forward to playing the game some more in the next couple of days. I really want to get to King Hippo, who was one of my favorite characters from the NES version, just to see if he is as funny and as hard to beat!
All in all, great title for the Wii and a must for Punch-out and old school Nintendo fans.』 『in Stock Now! Ready to Ship!』 『
Little Mac Is Back Everyone’s favorite underdog from the 1980s joins the best of the originalPunch-Out!!cast in a modern re-imagining of the series. Players will find familiar names like Glass Joe, King Hippo and trainer Doc Louis. These boxers come to life again in cell-shaded 3-D, complete with hilarious fighting animations and backstories that capture all the fun and flair of the originalPunch-Out!!games.The Wii's Motion Sensitivity The motion-sensitive controls of the Wii console mean that when players throw punches, Little Mac throws punches as well. Additionally, you can control hooks and jabs by combining motion control with control-stick movement. The motion-sensing Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers turn real-life swings into on-screen punches, so anyone can play. The game can also be played with classic NES-style controls by turning the Wii Remote sideways.Characters Punch-Out!!features a total of 13 opponents for Little Mac to step into the ring with. 12 of which are returning from previous games in thePunch-Out!!series. Each have their own backstory and patterns of attacks to learn and learn to counter. Just a few of the characters you can expect to see are:
Little Mac Small but extremely game, Little Mac is a young, up-and-coming fighter, who with the help of his trainer, ex-champion Doc Lewis, has set his sights on working his way through the ranks.
Glass Joe A fearful French fighter due to his extremely weak chin, Glass Joe will crumple to the mat quickly with just a few well-placed shots, making him an easy mark and a good warm-up for the fighters to follow.
King Hippo King Hippo is both huge and an immensely powerful fighter, but can be weakened with the right combinations to the head and body, giving you time to go for the knockout if you can survive his onslaught.
Von Kaiser An old-timey fighter whose rumored childhood difficulties have left him eager to dish out punishment in the ring, Von Kaiser is a dangerous opponent, but one who will turn tail if you can find his weakness.
Special Attacks Players can obtain special 'Star Punches,' which allow Little Mac to take more health from his rival in a single punch. Players can now use multiple stars in a single punch for an extra-powerful attack.Controller Options Punch-Out!!features multiple controller options. For players looking to take advantage of the Wii's motion control capabilities,Punch-Out!!uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controllers to simulate throwing punches. Use the Nunchuck to throw a left punch and the Wii Remote to throw a right punch. Fans of the NES version and core gamers will be excited to see Nintendo has also included the option to playPunch-Out!!using the classic layout from the original NES controller. Use the 1 and 2 buttons along with the cross pad to throw hooks and jabs or to dodge.
