Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Low Initial Cost But May Be Prone to Early Failure) 『I have purchased five Linksys/Cisco VPN routers in the last five years. Two "RV042"s, Two "BEFSX41"s, and one RVL200. (Yes, I have (maybe now "had") a preference for the Linksys/Cisco brand.) But out of these five VPN routers, both of the RV042s have failed (blinking diag light) within about 16 months from the date of purchase.
When not in failure mode, the RV042 is a cost effective router and I have paired them together or have mixed and matched with the BEFSX41, RVL200 and a Sonicwall VPN router (don't know the model since I was connecting to a third-party administered site) with good results. It also has a large feature set for the price (DHCP w/ MAC mapping, 5 IPsec VPNs, VLAN support, etc...) and since the last firmware upgrade, it has not been buggy (unlike in 2006, which was two firmware upgrade versions earlier). It is, however, prone to early failure based on my experience and other user comments/reviews. One reviewer here has stated the Blinking Diag Light of Death ("BDLOD") may be due to a firmware problem although I recall during my first failure, another reviewer (you might need to google this issue) stated that these BDLODs may be due to bad capacitors. This person posted a DIY capacitor replacement guide on the web.
For now, I might just spend the $180.00 for another RV042 so I can easily load my configuration backups. My full-time profession (Patents) is not IT so there's a need to get my End Point VPNs, VoIP PBX w/ SIP phones connected using a Wireless 802.11 bridge, Real-time offsite file backups and remote desktop functionality (for all fifteen PCs and Laptops) up and running with minimal disruption. When configured correctly, having VPN end-points enables dependable offsite computing, greatly increasing my productivity. I'll then research and implement a transition plan on my own schedule to avoid unintended surprises. Note I have a 9 year old D-Link non-VPN wireless router and it is still in use!
Overall, the RV042 has a large feature set and is relatively stable. If you do purchase it, you might not be disapointed but it might be a good idea to backup your configuration settings and have a spare RV042 backup available to minimize downtime.

P.S. I found the BEFSX41 to be a the "little engine that could" of VPN routers. It's fast, very inexpensive and reliable. It does have a somewhat limited feature set, e.g., it does not support MAC address DHCP mapping. The RVL200 is also an interesting product - I find the SSL VPN functionality convenient. I have used remote desktop to read my email and pull files while away via SSL VPN - easy, Web-browser (active-x only?) compatible and a no-brainer to use. Every once in while, - it has a "system busy" problem during logon but this does not occur frequently enough for me to regret my purchase.』

(Very flexible FXS/FXO) 『The SPA3102 gives you both an FXS port (for a phone) and an FXO port (for a phone line), it's two devices in one box. Each device can operate independently or can be made to interact with the other. It's great for a start-up VoIP system where you want to have one phone and access to one phone line from the PSTN. Be aware that this is NOT a device that is made for plug and play. You have to know what you are doing. It is an extremely flexible device with MANY options. Which means it can be overwhelming to a beginner. A lot of the options can be left at default but you still need a basic (at least) understanding of networking, SIP and VoIP to get this working with a provider or VoIP PBX. If you know what you are doing, this unit can be up and running in 10 minutes, otherwise you'd better have a lot of patience.

(Not for the faint of heart...) 『Although VoIP is slowly moving more and more mainstream, a device as flexible and as configurable as the Linksys SPA3102 is not for anyone who either is not comfortable with programming the ATA with your VoIP provider's SIP settings or coming up with an approprate dial plan for your device that is compatible with your provider. With that as a caveat....
This device is PHENOMENAL! I love the potential for PSTN dialing (either by prefixing your calls with a code or by programming certain numbers--like 911--to go directly through the PSTN line). By manipulating the dial plan, you can also program certain key combos (*101 for example) to speed-dial certain numbers. You can program the SPA3102 to allow yourself to dial into your device via your VoIP line and then subsequently dial out the PSTN line (using a number of authentication methods including caller id, PIN, etc.). Likewise, you can set it up to allow yourself to dial into yoru device via your PSTN line and then subsequently dial out the VoIP line (one way to save on long distance?). It's robust, reliable and cheap (just $10-20 more than a PAP2T-NA). Just be prepared to do a lot of googling and "self tech-support"! In all seriousness, there is a wealth of information out there on the SPA3102. It is a popular device for VoIP users and is often the BYOD (bring your own device) of choice!』

Right after Christmas, we ordered one from Amazon. I love it. I have the Sports bundle, Sports Resort, Wii FitPlus with balance board and all the accessories. I have MarioKart. I have the Wii Zapper. I love it all. I've also lost 6.5 pounds in about a month. That's not bad for someone who's inside most of the time. It's also made me feel better about going out and walking. As a matter of fact, it's become an obsession.
I've also branched out to sports games I've never played like golf and baseball. it's cool.
I've played online (MarioKart) with a former student 43 years my junior. We've had a ball.

(Good Guide For Great Game) 『I actually opted to buy the Okami guide for Wii because, like so many of us right now, it worked better for my budget. I own a PS2 copy of the game myself and there are really no differences between the PS2&Wii Guides, except for the controller layout. The guide is filled with the lush, colorful character art that is so prevalent in the game. The descriptions for each act of the game are descriptive&provide you with enough information in case you get stuck at a certain point and (like I did) need that extra hint on how to proceed. The guides in the back of the book to find all of the Stray Beads&monster "hitlists" are a big help as well.
The only thing that sticks out in my mind as lacking in this guide are the area maps. They give general info about where to find treasure chests and clovers that provide you with extra "praise" (hey, Okami is a god after all!) but they are basic and don't provide the extra detail like some maps for other games of this genre.
All in all, this guide is an excellent resource for what has swiftly become one of my favorite video games of all time. A BIG thanks to BradyGames for making the Okami Wii Guide cross-compatible!』

Every night my husband comes home from work to chuckle at me as I'm bouncing around to Walk It Out. He thinks I need therapy. Maybe so, but I love this game and look forward to coming home from work, pulling out the mini-rebounder and going for it. Instead of using the EA active thigh wrap, I'm putting the nunchuck in the side pocket of my cargo capri pants and it is much more comfortable, and seems to calculate the steps more correctly.
For the fast songs, I Walk It Out on the floor, but the slow ones I use the trampoline for - the bounce gives my calves a stretch and its easier to keep in step with the beat. Right now my main objective is unlocking all the songs. I've even purchased a few of the songs on my iPod to enjoy away from the Wii. There is so much to see and do in Walk It Out I can't stop myself from playing!
I wish the island was bigger so I could keep going!
PLEASE make more versions of this game! I, and I know a lot of others, will gladly pull out our wallets to enjoy new adventures and get more active!

(Awesome) 『I read other reviews before purchasing this game as my daughter tried another fitness game by a well known trainer and hated it. The beginning is tedious because you have all these measurements to insert but it is all for a good cause. At the end of your goal you are retrained to see if and how much your fitness has progressed. There are many and varied exercises that are challenging and fun. You can start at 15 min and go for as long as an hour or hour and a half at a time. The only down side is that unless you are paying attention to the bottom of the screen, you don't really have time to switch from one exercise to the next. There is no pause in between. I have just adjusted to paying attention to the bar at the bottom. I have really enjoyed this one and have only missed 2 sessions. You can also add hand weights, stability ball, step. You have the option of adding other fitness "credits" to your workout. If you did some treadmill that day or eliptical you can add it to your goal credits. You have your choice of 3 types of music in the beginning but that will increase as you progress through the game. I have been doing it 3 days a week for a month and my next challenge is Sunday so, wish me luck! Get this if you want to get in shape or stay in shape and have fun doing it. It works!』
(Frustrating !&the Yoga is USELESS for beginners) 『This "game" is very frustrating. I did a 15 minute cardio workout, but wasn't sure I was doing the exercise correctly. There is no interaction (such as use of the balance board or nunchuk) to make sure you are doing things correctly or give you feedback, the way they do with Wii Fit. The reason I bought this game is because in Wii Fit, after each exercise, you have to choose a new one. I wanted a workout I could do for minutes on end without stopping to grab the nunchuck and select a new exercise. This does serve that purpose, however, there is very little instruction. In fact there is NO instruction at all with the Yoga. In level 1 Yoga, the instructor says things like: "From 'mountain pose', inhale and hinge forward into 'forward fold', extend into 'monkey', exhale then step your feet back into 'down dog'... inhale into 'plank' and exhale as you drop forward into 'crocodile', inhale as you press forward into 'cobra'." WHAT? I don't know any of those poses without looking at the screen and just trying to mimic the coach. You can't do the poses right while you're head is up looking at the screen. Totally frustrating. This yoga is USELESS for beginners.
