But it has some key problems. They didn't think thru the Wii integration and each segment has you constantly getting on and off the board, pausing to put the remote in the other hand or in your pocket. This might not be so annoying if you have a room dedicated for working out, but in a small apt, I am constantly moving the board and finally gave up on using the remote at all. Hence I get no credit for much of the workout which defeats the purpose of Wii integration. The weigh-in flat out doesn't work. I was excited about tracking my progress with Wii, but the weigh-in shows my current weight and then judges me on the BL character I choose and never goes down. Pretty discouraging to add 30 lbs to my weight each week and see no progress. While the exercises are very good, all the audio comes from Bob, even if you choose Jillian as your trainer. Unfortunately there is very little verbal instruction, so when I'm on the floor doing abs or dips, I have no idea that the on-screen trainer has moved on. There is also no counting and no telling what will be coming up next. If you play the "game" then there are days when you show up to workout and there is nothing on your list so you end up putting together your own working out of their exercises. There is also no way to pause during the workout (except when it waits on you to change Wii equipment). All-in-all, you'd be better off using a DVD for the workout.』

(Big name on a small game) 『I was really excited to use the Biggest Loser game for the Wii. I'm a fan of the show, as probably most people are who would consider purchasing this game. Since it included trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels as well as past contestants of the show, it had my attention from the beginning. My husband and I had purchased a few other Wii workout games at the same time to give them all a try and find the one that would work for us. The other games were EA Active, Wii Fit (comes with the balance board), and My Fitness Coach. If I hadn't had any other games, I would have thought the Biggest Loser game was fantastic. But comparison with the other games gave me a different perspective on it.
Negatives: I was slightly annoyed with some features of it, such as it always pushing me to input my calories for the day (I am trying to eat healthier and be more active, but I rebel against counting calories). I found the calendar feature very clumsy, especially if I wanted to reschedule a workout or workout twice in one day. I could be doing a workout move exactly as instructed (even had my hubby come check to make sure!), but the game wouldn't count it if the Wii remove angle was slightly off or the pressure on the Balance Board wasn't what was expected. That was a bit frustrating because then I got to the point where I was concentrating more on trying to use the equipment in the expected way than actually doing the moves correctly. There seemed to be a few graphical glitches in the game, and the bottom left hand symbol that was supposed to tell players the next move in the routine was often misleading.
Positives: The big name trainers really make it fun if you're a fan of the show. The inspirational quotes from past contestants and the trainers are a nice touch. The game's use of the Wii Balance Board rivals the best I've seen. The calendar system would be nice with a few tweaks to make it operate smoother.

If you blow a gasket just waiting for a red light to turn green, you will have a hard time making it through this game. If you have the patience to play it out, the curling game is fun - it is like chess on ice - you have to have a good strategy to win. Trying each of the characters Figure Skating is fun ... when you add your own extra moves and not just follow along with their given moves your scores will soar. Most of the games are fast paced, but several are just like the real events and are meant to just slowly, methodically make your way through them to rake up the larger numbers. Not a doubt I am happy with this purchase and if the need arises, I wouldn't hesitate to give this for an adult gift.』
