Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The Ultimate Remote Control) 『I purchased the DSi Wireless Keyboard to be used with my LCD TV that I have hooked up to a desktop computer. I really only use this to surf the web and watch TV and Movies. I could not give this product 5 stars because it's not perfect. I find two things, sometimes, frustrating.
First, the device goes to "sleep" after several minutes and needs to be "awakened" to operate. This is actually a good idea because it saves battery life. However, you cannot awaken the device by simply rolling the ball; you have to actually push a button. If your cursor's last location was over an active button on your window or desktop, then pressing a button on the keyboard to wake it up can actually activate the button on your window and desktop and navigate you away from where you want to be.
Second, it seems that if the left side of the device is either behind a body part (such as a crossed leg while sitting) or if your hand is completely covering the left grip, it significantly loses its signal strength, hindering the performance. This is really noticeable when typing. That being said, I am a writing and have found this product not very reliable for typing. It consistently misses typed letters. Depending on how I'm holding the keyboard or whether it's in my lap or on a TV tray, significantly affects the typing capability. The best results come from using this keyboard on a TV tray and typing as if you were sitting at a desk. I purchased this model because of the extended range. I will say I had previously owned a Logic Tech wireless mouse and keyboard, which would only work within 3ft of the computer. This product works significantly better than those non-2.4GHz ones. Although my keyboard is only 8 feet from the receiver and obstruction free with a clear line of sight, my best typing performance is 1 out of two dozen letters missed; worst typing performance is every couple of letters are missed with multiple strikes to the key to get the letter to appear.
For web searches, IM, and looking at videos or pictures, this keyboard is awesome. If you're looking to write your next novel or update the family with a long email, this will not be your best choice. I have also found that the response is too slow for fast paced video games like first-person shooters. All that being said I love my wireless keyboard as a user interface (remote control) for my internet/entertainment system, however I do not fully appreciate this item as a full fledge computer keyboard.
I would buy this product again without hesitation. 』

Since we usually play in front of a bunch of people, we thought it'd be cool and flashy to have these sticks for our outdoor night sessions. So we throw in our favorite game: Guitar Hero Metallica and were about 30-40 seconds into a song (can't recall which one, but if you've played the game you know it can be drum-tastic), and I see this plastic projectile fly past my face and our drummer laughing his ass off. Mind you, these we fresh out of the package moments before. Although it was funny to see these things snap in half, especially in front of like 30 people, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Unless you have an absolute feathery drum style, these pieces of crap will not last. Better to invest in a comfortable drum chair (or maybe a small fan to point at the drummer if he's a profuse sweater :P)』
(Too noisy, OK overall) 『I found the light effect less impressive than I thought it was going to be, but it's still fun to watch it go off when you hit it and fade away after a couple of seconds. The weight is a little more than the original Guitar Hero drumsticks but that didn't bother me.
A real turn-off was that the sticks are very noisy, to the point that I had to crank up the volume on the TV real loud so I could hear the music. For some reason this drumsticks generate a vibrating noise (i think it comes from the juncture between the transparent part and the non-transparent bottom) that reverberates.
I'll go back to wooden drumsticks but will keep this for when showing off Guitar Hero to my friends.』

Also they are about 4 times the size of real drum sticks and when your drumming with them the plastic slap is so loud you can't hear the game.』

(Surprisingly great, and tons of fun) 『Just what is Tatsunoko you might be asking yourself? Well don't feel bad, unless you're well schooled in knowledge of the company behind Battle of the Planets/G-Force and such, you aren't alone in thinking that. However, cast whatever ignorace you may have towards the knowledge of Tatsunoko aside and pick up and play Tatsunoko VS Capcom right now. This is without a doubt one of the most insanely fun fighting games you will find around these days, featuring a bevy of characters from both sides to choose from and duke it out (including Dead Rising star Frank!). Stylistically, the game resembles Street Fighter IV in terms of using 3-D modeled characters on a 2-D fighting plane, but the game's fighting engine is more akin to the Marvel VS Capcom series, with crazy combos and attacks that range from simple to complicated to pull off. The game looks great, plays fantastically, and features a variety of options in terms of control schemes (whether it's the Wii-mote, classic controller, or Gamecube controller) that almost anyone can jump in and pick up and play. The only real flaws that the game has is that the unfamiliarity with the Tatsunoko license that a number of gamers may have, but by all means, please throw that aside. All in all, Wii owners should rejoice the fact that Tatsunoko VS Capcom has arrived on our shores, because this is one of the best fighting games to grace the Wii yet, and one of the most fun that you're likely to play.』
(Not a fan of fighting games except brawl...then this came out!) 『I'm an 80s baby and I remember Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat as being one of the hottest games out. But I was never really good at them. So everybody was raving about how good Street Fighter is but I was unimpressed just because I wasn't good at them. I guess you could call me a hater! All the hype surrounded around this game is the only reason I decided to give it a second chance. And I'm glad I did. Crazy, Sick, Awesomeness....just a few adjectives. I'm a father of 3 kids. 12 yr old, 8 year old, and 4 yr old and the 4 yr old makes it a mission to beat someone with Roll (one of the characters in the game) just so she can tell everybody that she slapped someone with a broom (which is Roll's weapon) The moves are nasty! There have only been two things that i don't like about this product. first, they seem to repeat a couple of phrases a little too often in the game. it annoys me but not enough to stop using it. second, i live on the second floor and my downstairs neighbors don't seem to like me running in place or doing jumping jacks. in trying to be courteous, i've used this product less often then i would like to. oh and one other thing, if you don't have a wii balance board, don't worry about it. the board doesn't really enhance game play. usually don't even bother hooking it up so i'll have more usable space.』 『

The menu (which was all I could see because the controls did not work) was much better than the miwi and looked kind of like the wii selection screen. If you get one that works, you'll probably prefer this to the other non-wii options because there are twice as many games for the same price and the graphics on all appear to be the same. I'm not sure if I'll get a replacement because the picture of the bowling on the box looked just like the one on the miwi and that is not what I want. I think I'll try the Jakks or Xavix.
