(Great iron!) 『Maybe I've just owned a bunch of junky irons in my 39 years, but I am very impressed with this iron. It has a good weight - not too light...awesome steam...a removable water reservoir, which saves a step and keeps me from having to keep track of a cup to fill it with. I love the self retracting cord. The price almost seemed a little low and I had concerns about the quality BEFORE I bought it. Now I think I got a great deal! I am very pleased with my purchase and hope to have this iron for many years.』
(Super iron for the price) 『I had been sure that my next iron would be a Rowenta, based on all the buzz and ads I'd seen. But when I read the buyer's reviews, I was shocked at all the reports of leaking and dissatisfaction. Again, based on the reviews, I ordered the Panasonic. It's been great! Large water reservoir which is easy to fill either on the iron or off. Plenty of steam, heats up quickly, and the retractable cord makes sure the dog won't pull the iron over. (Although the cord takes several pumps of the retracting button). I thought I'd hate the auto-off feature, since I quilt and I'm continually switching between the iron and the sewing machine, but just one instance of forgetting to turn the iron off when I went to bed made me really appreciate the feature. Yes, I have to wait a couple of minutes for the iron to heat up if I've spent too long on the sewing machine, but the safety aspect is well worth the wait.
I had my last iron for 20 years, and I hope this one does half as well!』
(Nice iron) 『Had the iron for about a month now and have no complaints so far! Easy to fill, with or without using the removable tank. I'm right-handed, so no complaints about the cord here. Overall good iron at a decent price.』
(This iron works great!) 『I actually enjoy using this iron! I've had it for a few months now and so far it is working great. I really enjoy the retractable, self-winding cord and the automatic shut-off features. It glides smoothly over all of the fabrics I've tried it on. The toughest job I've given it so far is removing the wrinkles along the hems of my cotton sheets. The steam removes most of the wrinkles, or at least minimizes them enough so you don't notice them. I'm very pleased with this purchase from Amazon.』 『No more trips back home to see if you left the iron on. Our mercury-free electronic sensor automatically shuts off the iron after 10 minutes if it is left in the upright position. The iron will also turn off after 60 seconds if it is tipped over on its side or left unmoved on the soleplate. The non-stick coating helps the iron glide smoothly and effortlessly over the fabrics, making the task of ironing a lot more tolerable. Retract the cord quickly and easily with just a touch of a button. The adjustable steam button allows you to select just the right amount of steam required for your ironing needs. Choose regular steam for heavier fabrics or light steam for touch-ups. With our steam/dry selector, you can select to steam or dry iron by simply pushing a button. The spay mist button helps eliminate stubborn wrinkles by directing extra moisture where necessary.』

(Waste of Money) 『Don't waste your money on this it does not reach the difficult areas to clean at all!! My animals deserve better than half clean. You could do better with a toothbrush by bending the neck of it to clean difficult areas to reach. Sorry I wasted my money on it!!!!』
(Really comes in handy keeping that fountain clean) 『I think the Drinkwell fountain is great. My dogs love it and drink a lot more water because of it. I'd had a different type of electrical watering device for them previously and it got disgusting after awhile. These things get pretty funky fast. (I have two dogs with big jowls, so I'm guessing they bring lots of crud and bacteria to the whole drinking adventure.) I was trying to keep the Drinkwell clean without this kit for about a month and it was becoming a hassle. You HAVE to clean any of these fountains once a week or they become a breeding ground for God knows what. I bought this kit to help me get at some of the nooks and crannies and it did just that. And I really like that there was a bunch of diagrams on the back that told you how to use each tool. (I had no idea the motor came out to be cleaned until I saw the instructions.) I'd definitely recommend buying this if you have one of these fountains. Makes life a lot easier.』
(If you own a Drinkwell Fountain - Get these brushes!) 『Great brushes for cleaing the Drinkwell Fountain! Although I cleaned mine every week the best I could with a cloth and soap and water, my fountain eventually stopped working due to black gunk clogging the narrow hole that drew water from the reservoir. The long narrow brush was perfect for cleaning it out and my fountain works like brand new now! The other brushes are very useful for cleaning the reservoir and the motor also. I highly recommend getting these brushes!』
(Nice brushes, but not entirely necessary) 『This set of brushes is very nice, but I haven't really even been using them since my Drinkwell seems to get clean with bleach water and a rag. They are very nice though and maybe I should use them to reach into those small crevices now and then.』 『Keep your fountain cleaner by getting to the hard-to-reach spots. I started with making a pair for myself and being OK with any mistakes and moved on to making the rest with confidence. The only reason I gave the ahine 4 instead of 5 stars is I can not figure out how to use the button hole maker. I spent a good hour reading and re-reading the instructions and doing everything as told and I ended up free styling it with the zig zag stitch. Friedman and Danziger
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Fun&clever stories) 『Kids have always loved a good story, especially those that describe magical places far, far away. And stories about animals and clever maidens can keep them fascinated for hours.
In the Tell Me a Story series, Amy Friedman has created some of the most interesting and memorable tales children have ever heard. These stories are read by stage and screen's most talented actors, and accompanied with music by renowned composer Laura Hall.
"Kerplunk" is a funny tale about an animal who panics over the sound of something falling, and works all the other animals into a frenzy without knowing why. "A Sense of Theft" is a playful look at what really constitutes stealing. And "Whisker of the Lioness" lets us see that sometimes we already have the answer to our problem, and we don't even know it. And many other fun stories are included.
If you're looking for a new way to entertain your kids with clever tales that make them think, Tell Me a Story will be a big hit. These stories can be listened to again and again, and enjoyed by all ages. I highly recommend this wonderful audio series.

(Fabulous Stories! Fabulous Production Quality! a review of Tell Me A Story: Timeless Folktales from Around the World) 『I couldn't be more enthusiastic about this CD. The recording quality is superb and the stories are not only interesting but thought-provoking.
To give you an idea of how good they are the first time we listened to them we were in the car on the way to the pool. We had to make some stops first, and I thought, "AHA! I'll put the CD on and that will at least dim the whining about why we weren't at the pool yet." Well, the backseat went absolutely silent. And what's more, when we came to a stop --even the Pool!-- we waited until the story we were listening to was at an end before getting out of the car. Something that has NEVER happened before. (We couldn't stand not to know how each tale ended.)
Talking Points:::
I love that these were stories that my children wanted to talk about. The overall experience was entertaining, and yet thought-provoking. And I loved that Ms. Friedman chose not to 'talk down' to them.
I would think the target audience would be 6 to 12 years, and then adults. (You know how teens can be ;) My own 7 and 9 year olds (and I) were absolutely riveted.
I highly recommend this volume of stories. They are available on CD or even as MP3 downloads.
Stories include:
A Sense of Theft Anansi and Turtle's Feast The Selkie Bride Two Frogs from Japan The Clever Girl Searching for Fear The Rabbit on the Moon The Boatmans' Howling Daughter
Total play time 71:17 (The average time was about 10 minutes which would make them ideal for bedtime.)

(Reserved: A place in my school library!) 『We squat down in front of the fire. Someone stirs the embers. Shhhh, here they come. The Storytellers. There's nothing better than listening to a good story told by a good storyteller. The voice is our conduit; we the absorbers.
Tonight Amy Friedman brings her band of storytellers via "Tell me a Story," a CD of "Timeless folktales from around the world." Specifically, the storytellers will tell of "legendary heroes, mythical maidens, and talented tricksters" from the far-flung reaches of the globe. These are stories that touch everyone.
As you listen to these tales, you will discover a sense of magic trickling out through the sound waves into your ears. A storyteller's spell is mesmerizing. Watch little kids get caught up in listening to stories. Transported they are to the time and place of the story.
Amy Friedman makes the folktales on this CD a little different by incorporating music that suits the tone of the folktale. Even the liner notes are unique, especially the Bios and the naming of the instruments used for each story. However, the most special part of the notes is a brief summary of each tale, followed by the origins, and a colorful illustration created by Jillian Gilliland.
The first story is "A Sense of Theft" read wonderfully by Lori Ada Jaroslow. I'm just wondering how many times she had to retake to keep those voices accurate and in place. I know I'm going to use this CD in my library classes in collaboration with teachers' units and lesson plans. This story is about justice fairly rendered, excellent for fifth grade.
Rick hall reads "Anansi and Turtle's Feast," trickery played on the trickster.
"The Selkie Bride" is about the capture of a selkie, or seal who can shapeshift into a human, in Scotland, who must remain a person because this man steals her seal skin and pretty much makes her marry him. How it ends is sad indeed!
One of my favorites is "The Clever Girl," read by Charlayne Woodard, which is a wonderfully romantic story. Absolutely lifting!
My most favorite story is "Searching for Fear," read by Poppy Champlin, a story about a raccoon who knows no fear and wants to find it. His travels take him through most unusual and dangerous scenarios. The way he finds fear is dazzling! I was so taken by surprise! Perfect!
Listening to these tales on my car stereo made me think of long-ago people who sat before fires and listened to the storytellers, the keepers of oral history, the tellers of magic and special events. I remember sitting near our big Zenith radio--a full-sized piece of furniture, somewhat resembling a jukebox, but not so big, and listening to the stories, the programs both dramatic and comedic. Those stories were as real as if they actually had form and shape.
Amy Friedman brings those listening skills back, the use of imagination. This is a CD for all school libraries and for parents willing to spend time setting the stage for these stories, maybe one a night with discussion afterward. Total playing time is 71:17 with the shortest tale (rabbit) at 4:43 and longest (clever girl) at 10:18. Music composer is Laura Hall. Adults will enjoy this CD, too! Very highly recommended.

(IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO LIKE AND APPRECIATE THIS OFFERING IF YOU LOVE WELL TOLD TALES) 『And what a fantastic collection of folk tales this CD brought together! There is no doubt that your children will love each and ever one of these stories, but the best part is that you, the adult will like them just as well, and on some level, appreciate them even more than the wee ones!
Amy Friedman has written and Amy Lori Ada Jaroslow has directed a wonderful collection of stories and brought them together in a format which I found highly effective in every department. First, they have chosen a group of very talented actors with extremely expressive reading voices to present the actual tale. This is enhanced by very pleasing introductory, background and closing music which has been chosen with perfection to highlight the essence, place and mood of the story. There is no doubt a tremendous amount of thought and work went into the production of this project.
This CD is composed of eight folk type stories from around the world and from different cultures. The first offering, A Sense of Theft, has a definite Fiddler on the Roof feel to it, even though it originated in Japan, and was one of my favorite. We then are led into the world of critters with the tale of a stingy spider who outsmarts himself, A West African tale where we find out that turtles are not so dumb. From there it is off to Scotland for The Selkie Bride, a rather haunting tale. Japan is our next stop where two frogs learn a valuable lesson. The Clever Girl takes us to what I would say is Medieval Europe, Czechoslovakia, to be precise, (another of my favorites) and then we jump back into the animal kingdom with a small raccoon by the name of Gregory who knows no fear. This one is based upon a very old tale from Turkey, a country I love and lived in for a number of years. A tale of The Buddha tells the listener how the rabbit got on the moon, and finally we are treated with an adventure of Sal Fink, the daughter of the famous Mike Fink, King of the River, and learn how she foiled the dastardly plans of a group of very mean river pirates who caught here while she was hunting wildcats...barehanded.
So, we have Japan, Ghana in West Africa, Scotland, Czechoslovakia, Turkey, India and the United States represented, and I have to say, extremely well represented here.
As I mentioned, each story or tale is enhanced by wonderful mood music which fits the story perfectly. It is also rather remarkable that the writer and producer of this unique CD were able to match the individual reader with the story. So often when listening to books on tapes, the reader's voice simply does not "fit in" with the story that is being read. Not so here; I did not get that "annoyed feeling" one time during the entire presentation. Every thing on this production simply "clicked." The sound quality of this CD was excellent!
Some of these tales will be somewhat familiar, while other will not...it is like an adventure and you never know what you will hear next.
I really cannot stress enough the fact that although this CD is targeted toward children, an adult will find just as much pleasure as the child in listening to them. This is an idea CD to take on a trip for the entire family to enjoy, and each tale offers so many conversational opportunities; which I feel is an extremely valuable tool for working with kids. Most of these stories do have a moral, but the little lessons here are not the preachy kind of moral lesson that makes the listener's eyes roll to the back of their head...in particular those of children. The stories are sneaky, and teach while not being techie. As an added bonus, you and your children will be wonderfully entertained without the blasted T.V. blaring and I am sure, causing some sort of damage to the entire family. This is neat and nice entertainment that causes actual thought while listening to it.
As a side note, I am a bit of a story teller myself and have practiced the art for a good many years. To be honest, this little number has added eight new stories to my bag of tricks. I have no shame and will borrow heavily from them.
Bottom line is that this is a great CD to add to your children's audio library, and if you are real nice to them, i.e. your kids, they might even allow you to listen to it every so often.
Highly recommend this one!

My reader gets car sick when she reads on the road, so the cd is great for road trips for both of them, but for different reasons. We also love Tell Me a Story 2. (Baby Adores Baby Einstein) 『My 1-year-old loves all her Baby Einstein movies, and really enjoys the Baby Shakspeare DVD. I work from home and sometimes need an attention grabber for her while I finish up my reports. I love that she is being exposed to beautiful classic music, poetry, and interesting images. I also like the fact that there are no lyrics to the music that get stuck in my head for hours afterwards!』
(Best in the series...lovely, smart and peaceful.) 『We have had this video since my eldest son (now 6yrs old) was less than a year old. It is such a soothing video, I love the bits of poetry, the images are interesting (there's a nice shot of a train coming puffing around a bend in a rural landscape paired with a poem about a dragon, etc). We have 10 Baby Einstein videos in all, and I have to agree with some of the other reviews who like the pre-Disney ones best, and this is the best of those. My 6yr old son still will watch this one, and picks it himself to watch when our youngest (1 yr) has her 1/2 hour of screen time (so Mommy can get dinner made). Our video (we may be buying the DVD sometime, but I hate having to wait for it to load and go to the menu screen and all that) has perfectly good quality audio/sound and is my favorite video of all time because I can keep the volume on the quiet side. If the baby wakes too early and wants her morning to start already (4,5am!) I can pop this in and it lulls ME right back to sleep, while she gets a bit of something interesting to watch. She sits still to watch it while we cuddle on the couch and sometimes has drifted back off to sleep herself (hooray!). It's just lovely, like being read a bedtime story. This has been the same scenario with all four of my kids. One of my most dependable 'tools' as a parent.』
(A lesser known title, but very good!) 『While I hate to admit it, my 8 month old is hooked on Baby Einstein. His favorites are Baby Shakespeare, Baby McDonald, Numbers Nursery, and Baby VanGogh--i.e., all the classical puppet format types. Baby Shakespeare has beautiful imagery and poetry, but also the fun puppets my little guy loves to see. I've researched the BE series thoroughly, and highly recommend these. While I am not crazy enough to think the videos will make my baby smarter, I do like that I know what he's seeing, I get a few minutes to shower, cook, etc, and most importantly, he loves them!』

Twelve words (grass, tree, etc.) are explored in pictures and poem form with plenty of playful stops for kids singing their ABC's and close-ups of brightly colored toys in action. Older kids can follow the poetry in a beautiful enclosed picture book of poem text and sharp outdoor photography. (An Artistic Science Lover) 『If the producer was more artist than scientist, great, because she spoke to the"more artist than scientist"in me. This approach sparked my interest in a field that has long intimidated me. I can now proceed to find more information with the understanding I got from this film. Thanks for presenting the artistic, philosophical approach to quantum conceptual understanding.』
(Smithsonian World: The Quantum Universe) 『Awful! I was looking for a video that would contribute to better scientific understanding. This is a trivial, tedius philosophical discussion. Also, I can't believe it is dated 1995. The quality of photography&the style of everyone's glasses puts it in the '70's or 80's. Stick to Stephen Hawking's Universe and Discovery/TLC's Universe 2001. Don't waste your money on this one like I did.』
(For science lovers only) 『Those who see a kind of poetry in quantum mechanics will appreciate this documentary. Others, who view such abstruse theorizing in an thoroughly unromantic light, or who are alienated by science generally, may find it irritating and, yes, at times, "over the top." As a member of the former category, I loved it. But when I showed it to my students in a college course I was teaching, some, to my surprise, found it less than charming. Sadly, I attribute the lion's share of this response a failure to appreciate the beauty of science.』
(Inane) 『Quantum theory is one of the great developments of the 20th Century, yet this film (narrated by a child) trivializes and dilutes it without in any way making it more understandable. Produced by a woman who is apparently an artist, the film (ala Dr. Zhivago) simply provides lots of feel-good music and artistic creations"inspired"by quantum theory. It's just too cute for words. That the Smithsonian would lend its name to this kind of mindless pap is inexplicable.』 『"What is the stuff of the world?" asks the dead-ringer-for-Linus-of-the-Peanuts-gang narrator of Smithsonian World'sThe Quantum Universe. This hour-long documentary looks at the shadowy rules and elements that make up the "infinite onion" that is our universe.
The "imaginably small" basis of the "inexplicably large" is an endlessly fascinating question that's been pursued by Newton, Einstein, Heisenberg, and Schrodinger, to name just a few. Given that rich history of inquiry, it's downright amazing that this program on that very topic is so dull. It's admittedly not without its moments, such as a tour of the two-mile-long Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC), but the majority of the program features too many dry and unimaginatively filmed close-up interviews with various researchers and astrophysicists. Throw in some horribly over-the-top performances from Tom Stoppard's spies-and-physics play,Hapgood, and you've got an astonishing yawn of a show. Those with a hankering for Hawking should stick to the real thing. Too heady for kids and too cursory for adult aficionados of this kind of thing,The Quantum Universeis an unfortunate letdown. For a documentary on the history of "the mind teaching the eye to see," you'd think the end product would be a little more riveting.--Bob Michaels』

The difference between this one and those others is that this is excellent. Actually there was one other documentary series about the 20th Century that does hold a candle to this one. That being "The Century: America's Time" which was produced by ABC News and hosted by the late great Peter Jennings. But as PBS is capable of doing, they were able to cover the century in exquisite detail over some 26 or so hours whereas ABC could only spare about 10. Both series are, in my opinion, a must for every home video library.』
(Best 20th Century Documentary Series EVER!) 『This outstanding BBC series, People's Century, is documentary tv at its best. As a world history teacher working outside the US, I appreciate the balance this series provides. This episode is a particularly popular one with students. Fantastic use of propaganda (on all sides), interviews (not just British or American). If it can keep a class of 15 year olds interested, that's got to say something!』 『When U.S. and Soviet troops met at the Elbe River in 1945, there were smiles and hugs and even dancing to celebrate the imminent defeat of Nazi Germany. But the camaraderie between the Allies was short lived as suspicion grew and tension arose over the Soviet domination of Eastern Europe. This video shows the jubilation at the Elbe as well as the speech, delivered less than a year later by Winston Churchill, in which the term "Iron Curtain" first rang out. The cold war had begun, and campaigns of propaganda took both the U.S. and the Soviet Union by storm. The major events of the Cold War are covered well in this video, and interviews with participants and well-chosen archival footage show the real dangers--and some of the absurdity of the times. The open warfare in Korea is seen in propaganda films produced by both sides, and participants in other major events, such as the 1956 Hungarian uprising and the 1961 building of the Berlin Wall, are interviewed. Among the gems of footage shown are snippets of the famous "Kitchen Debate" between Vice President Richard Nixon and Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev and a bizarre U.S. newsreel in which residents of a small Wisconsin town dramatize what would occur in a Communist takeover.Brave New Worldis a lively depiction of the Cold War, as both a solid history of and an engaging view of it.--Robert McNamara』 『"We knew our society was just and that capitalism was terrible and people were exploited. That's what we were taught. It didn't matter how badly I lived now, I hoped it would get better. I believed Stalin and knew that life would improve." - Tamara Banketik, Russia. Just over fifty years ago, Soviet and American troops met on the banks of the river Elbe and rejoiced at the defeat of Nazi Germany. The mood was one of camaraderie between Allies, and their optimism was shared by the liberated populations of Europe. Brave New World tracks the building tension between these two superpowers, from the post-war world of the late 1940s through the early 1960s, as the hope for peace swiftly disintegrates into a "cold" war of competing ideologies between East and West. The people remember: meeting on the Elbe, refugees in Europe, Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill at Fulton, Nikita Khrushchev, propaganda wars, NATO, Berlin blockade, Korea, Hungarian uprising, Berlin Wall.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (No Good!) 『I didn't even get out of my driveway before I unplugged this thing and put it back in the box. The clarity and reception is terrible, and anyone who knows how the FM receiver works will know that if you live anywhere that has a radio station close to 99.3, you will not be able to get this thing to work as it is advertised. A bluetooth it is not. There are better products out there, and as I should have known; you get what you pay for!』
(Great Idea.....Poor Reception) 『Anyone considering this already well knows the dangers of driving and talking on your ever present cell phone. No matter what kind of dexterity and alertness you may have been blessed with, you are still challenging fate every time you decide to talk on the phone and drive. A tree or a telephone pole is just begging for your acquaintance the whole time. I picked up one of these Jupiter Jacks (stupid name) at a local discount store here. I drive a car with a stick shift that makes it extra hard to hold onto a phone and shift at the same time. For starters let me say that the Jupiter Jack, (JJ) is a very well thought out unit in its design. It mounts easily just about anywhere, while at the same time it is not so big and intrusive that it either gets in the way, or should spoil the looks for those of us more fashionably minded about our cars. It also has a good universal design for holding just about any kind of cell phone, and it comes with a variety of jacks for fitting your particular phone. And the set up with your radio takes less than 5 minutes once you have installed in on your dash.
Unfortunately when it comes to JJs actually doing what it is supposed to do, the show is pretty much over after the above opening number. Despite the commercial on TV offering the impression that it pretty much transmits through your car radio as easily as a local station, it doesn't come through any where near that clearly in real use. The signal does pretty much what cell phone signals do when you are driving around talking. They fade in and out and draw static here and there. Only with the JJ, it happens that much more often. When I installed mine I took a drive for about 30 minutes and called several people. None of the calls were what I would label a success, or came off as much of an improvement on JJs claims. Two of the calls withered and died, and I had to call them back the old fashioned way. Even when the JJ completed a call, the sound quality coming from the speakers was not any where near the fidelity of your regular stations. Not really full of static, but somewhat cheap and hard to decipher. I really didn't make any distinction between the quality of calls being disrupted by stronger signals close by, or just JJ being a piece of junk. Contrary to what the commercial I have seen says, my unit had two different frequencies that you could choose from. That may help those that are being interrupted by stations horning in on your signal, but it will not improve the technology of the JJ which is unfortunately not that good.
In conclusion, the JJ is a very good idea that has your safety and convenience in mind. Whether you decide to take a chance on this unit or not, you shouldn't be driving and talking at the same time. But as far as recommending the JJ, it's my opinion that in most cases you will be sorely disappointed. You will most likely find its habit of working and then not, dropping out, and even when it is as its best being a disappointment anyway, too much of a pain and end up going back to your bluetooth, or other ear phone system. I believe that after using this, any required wires hanging around your front seat won't seem all that bad. My take is pass this up...
』
(Drive and talk without hands...) 『I got an email that said "Drive and Talk without Hands"...So I bought this device plugged it in and I immediately hit a chestnut tree.
You can't drive without your hands...this thing doesnt' work...But I gave it 3 out of 5 stars cause it looks fantastic!!!』
(Not as good as it sounds.) 『I recently ordered the Jupiter Jack and was excited to use it because I am on the road all the time. It definitely does what it says it does just not very well. I live in DC and on just about every dial we have a radio station which is not good for the jupiter jack trying to steal the frequency. Both station it has you use are close to very powerful stations here so even though you are not on the same frequency they still come through. I am not here to say I am dissapointed in the product I just wish it was a little stronger. I am sure it would probably work in a more rural area where there are not as many stations but for DC it is not the best choice.』
(What a joke! Doesn't work very well:() 『Dont make the same mistake as I did. I thought that it really looked great on the infomercial so I bought it. (Decent Blower/Vac) 『The only bad thing that I can say is that this is my second one. When we got the original one out this year, it would not start, it appears that the switch is bad. Since leaves were piling up fast, I came here and ordered a new one. The shipping was quick, I was back at the leaves 2 days later. I have the optional trashcan attachment, it really makes vaccing up leaves less of a hassle.』
(poor quality) 『They are good for two uses tops. My first one burt up a motor in 15 minutes. The second made it to the second chore before the motor burnt up again.』
(Excellent tool for the money) 『Although my BV2500 has developed the major problem cited in many reviews,it took more than 10 years of high volume leaf vacuuming before it failed. Had 1/2 acre with many trees (60 plus) now have 1/3 acre with several. It did as good a job as any homeowner line of tools could be expected to. No tears in the shoulder bag although 99% of the time I use the leaf collection system and no noticable impeller wear (of course I didn't try to vacuum any items that it wasn't intended for (rocks large twigs etc.), Silly old me, I try to use a tool for what it is intended (leaves). Will I buy another? You bet I just ordered one today, and if it only lasts several years I'm still way ahead, at $54.00 Amazon) no tax and free delivery. Use it for what it is and take care of it as you would all your other tools. 』
(Mulching? What mulching?) 『Earlier reviews complained about difficulty in finding a button for mulching. I guess they were right; I couldn't find one. The instructions just say the leaves will be mulched as they go through the impeller. After vacuuming a bunch of leaves and dumping them into a recycle bin, I couldn't really see any evidence of mulching. The blower and vacuum work very well, however. Don't make the mistake of trying to vacuum leaves from loose dirt; you'll suck up a lot of dirt. Blow the leaves into a pile and then vacuum them. Still, I like this tool. It's much quieter and easier to use than my gas blower.』 『With the Black&Decker Leaf Hog, you can clean up both the deck and the lawn with one reasonably priced and easy-to-maintain machine. This blower/vac is electric, so it requires an extension cord and an electric outlet to run, but there's nothing else to set up or maintain. The 12 amp motor has considerable power for its size, more than enough to clear driveways or decks or blow off sections of lawn. At just over 7 pounds, the Leaf Hog is light enough to use for long periods of time, and it's also quiet enough to use at any time of day. Switching from blowing to vacuuming is a snap--literally. The correct button took us a moment to find, but once you've located it, you simply depress it and remove the blowing unit, then attach the vacuum extension in its place. The extension has a bag for mulch, which attaches with a small clasp. When vacuuming, the unit mulches by sucking leaves through the fan assembly. Though this model, with its patented Vortex anticlog vacuum system, does a better job of remaining unclogged than most, you still need to be careful to avoid rocks and sticks. It also has a variable-speed control that lets you choose between 150 and 200 mph blower speed.』 『Powerful, efficient, and easy-to-use, this three-in-one blower, vacuum, and mulcher helps clear off your yard, patio, deck, and walkways--even wet leaves and twigs are no match for this heavy-duty tool. Operation is simple: to switch from blowing to vacuum mode, just press the push-button. And you'll never have to worry about clogs slowing you down, thanks to the vacuum's Vortex system. Additionally, the BV2500 condenses 10 bags of raked leaves into just one bag of mulched leaves and works quietly, making yard work more pleasant. For added peace of mind, it comes with a 2-year warranty.』

(Eyecandy: 1981) 『On one hand, "Heavy Metal" is a tough, no excuses violent and rowdy relic from a bygone un-PC era. I love it for that -- and for all of the nostalgia the artwork elicits in me. This film came out when I was about seven and was considered by older kids to be the essence of cool. There is great atmosphere here, and the film really defies all genre categorizations; it is literally like the magazine came to life and created a film wholly outside of Hollywood's spoonfed narratives and genres. And like others have noted, it seems to be the bookend to an entire decade of fantasy and science-fiction illustration. Can't help but bring a tear to the eye!
Having said that, almost all of these stories offer great atmosphere and visuals, and while most begin with a brilliant idea -- they are uniformly missing good writers to give them much impact. At about 10-15 minutes long each they all just fizzle out, making this a frustrating film. Probably the worst example of this tendency is in the WWII segment, where the only thing that happens is that dead pilots turn to zombies. There is no twist, nothing. That's it! Probably my favorite segment is the last one which involves a warrior (seen on the poster) who avenges a fallen civilization. There is some very imaginative scenery and it actually tells a real story with a beginning, middle, and end -- and she is a compelling character.
So overall, 5 stars for the nostalia and atmosphere, barely 3 stars for the anemic storylines. But this is the real deal, and has more artistic integrity than much anything else of its kind since.』

(heavy metal) 『I never read any "heavy metal" mags, but this movie was a really good depiction of ""heavy"". Action, humor, great animation, a plot that kept me interested, this movie had it all. I would highly recommend it. Greg, [...]』 『As long as there is a need for adolescent male sexual fantasy, there will be an audience forHeavy Metal. Released in 1981 and based on stories from the graphic magazine of the same name (possibly the greatest publication to simultaneously provoke imagination and masturbation), the film has since become the most popular single title in Columbia/TriStar's entire film library. That's an amazing fact considering just how silly and senseless the movie really is--an aimless, juvenile amalgam of disjointed stories and clashing visual styles, employing hundreds of animators from around the world with a near-total absence of creative cohesion. It remains, for better and worse, a midnight-movie favorite for the stoner crowd--a movie best enjoyed by randy adolescents or near-adults in an altered state of consciousness.
With a framing story about a glowing green orb claiming to be the embodiment of all evil, the film shuttles through eight episodic tales of sci-fi adventure, each fueled by some of the most wretched rock music to emerge from the 1980s. The most consistent trademark is an abundance of blood-splattering violence and wet-dream sex, the latter involving a succession of huge-breasted babes who shed their clothes at the drop of a G-string. It's all quite fun in its rampantly brainless desire to fuel the young male libido, and for all its incoherenceHeavy Metalremains impressive for the ambitious artistry of its individual segments. ("The Last Unicorn" - an enduring classic) 『4.5* I love Peter S. Beagle's works, especially "The Last Unicorn", "Tamsin", and "A Fine and Private Place". I watched this a long time ago, and remember loving the story, and today I was finally able to share it with my 5-year-old daughter. In the screen adaptation (the screenplay was also written by Peter S. Beagle), Mia Farrow plays the Last Unicorn who inadvertently learns that she is the last of her kind. Curious to discover the fate that has befallen the rest of the unicorns, the last unicorn learns from a Butterfly (Robert Klein) that an entity known as the Red Bull has herded the unicorns to the ends of the earth. Unfortunately, she finds herself captured by the witch Mommy Fortuna (Angela Lansbury)as part of the witch's Midnight Carnival. The unicorn is able to escape with the help of a novice magician Schmendrick (Alan Arkin) and proceeds to the seaside castle of King Haggard (Christopher Lee) and meets the dreaded Red Bull, a fire elemental, but is once again saved by Schmendrick when she is transformed by his magic into a mortal woman, Lady Amalthea. Here is where Amalthea's/the last unicorn's quest gets really interesting and complicated, for it is at the castle of King Haggard that Amalthea meets and eventually falls in love with Haggard's adopted son, Prince Lir (Jeff Bridges).
The rest of this magical story explores what happens to Amalthea and Lir, will their mortal love survive the revelation of Amalthea's true identity, and will Amalthea fulfill her real quest to find the rest of the unicorns, and defeat the evil Red Bull? The story itself is magical, but what makes it compelling are the various themes explored, regarding friendship, self-discovery, faith, courage, love, and mortality. The anime (Japanese animation) is beautiful, and I will always consider this a classic. The songs are also melodious and meaningful. Highly recommended, though I would advise caution for the under-5s since there are some scary depictions in this movie.』
(The are no happy endings, because nothing ends.) 『Probably one of the most cherished non-Disney animated family movies from the last century, The Last Unicorn was based on the book of the same name by Peter S. Beagle. This was one of the few theatrical movies produced by Jules Bass and Aurthur Rankin Jr., better known as Rankin/Bass, the creators of nearly every Christmas holiday TV special, and other hit shows like Thundercats and Silverhawks.
Set sometime during the middle ages, a unicorn discovers from a passing butterfly that she is the only one left in the world. She leaves her forest in search of them, but gets captured by a witch for her travelling carnival. The unicorn is set free by the novice magician Schmendrick. Along the way, they are accompanied by the ex-bandit wench Molly Grue. The trio make their way to realm of King Haggard where the other unicorns are supposed to be. Once there, Haggard's menacing Red Bull appears to drive the unicorn into the sea. In order to protect her, Schmendrick taps into his true magic and turns the unicorn into a human female, which makes the Red Bull give up on her. Our heroes then enter into Haggard's castle under the guise of looking for work, with Schmendrick claiming that the now-human unicorn is his niece, Amalthea. Schmendrick keeps Haggard entertained, while Molly searches for a way into the Red Bull's lair which is supposed to lead to the missing unicorns. Haggard's son Lir has meanwhile has fallen in love with Amalthea, believing her to be just a beautiful girl, while at the same time Amalthea is growing fond of him and growing to forget her former life as a unicorn. Molly and Schmendrick eventually find the secret entrance, and with Alamathea and Lir into tow, they confront the Red Bull. Amalthea is changed back into a human, who because of her newfound human feelings is able to defeat the Red Bull and free all the unicorns that were trapped in the sea. Amalthea the unicorn then heads back for her forest, with Schmendrick and Molly apparently hooking up together in the end.
This film features some of the best animation by the Rankin/Bass group since their animated version of The Hobbit. The studio responsible for most of the actual animation though was Topcraft, whose work also includes the anime movie Nausicaa. The character designs are very unique and original too. The movie features an odd assortment of voice actors, like Mia Farrow doing a wonderful job as the unicorn, Christopher Lee as the mad Haggard, Alan Arkin as indifferent Schmendrick, and Rene Auberjonois steals his scene as a laughing skeleton. There have been two DVD releases of this movie, the original, and the 25th Anniversary Edition which has way better quality. If you haven't seen this yet, treat yourself to a truly epic animated fantasy.』
(5 stars purely based on story...) 『I have to start by saying that I saw this movie for the first time as a small child and have never, and will never forget it. It seems silly to say that this movie shaped my life, but it definitely has!! The story is beautiful, and I absolutely recommend the book by Peter Beagle. What a well-written, poetic, heartbreakingly good story. The movie is animated beautifully and the actors did a superb job with the voices, especially Mia Farrow!
That said, the DVD version of this movie sucks. I had the VHS copy and lost it, and bought this DVD to replace it. Boy, was I disappointed. Everyone else has pointed out the problems--crappy quality, poor menu options, etc. But, if you've never seen the movie before, and the DVD is your only option, I would recommend overlooking the problems with quality just to see the movie.』 『A story line that truly deserves the A-list treatment,The Last Unicornis memorable for its attempts to stay faithful to its origins, the Peter Beagle novel of the same name. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Though provoking and intense fun!) 『One of my favorite. Easily in my top five, and one of the most underrated movies of all time. Great actors who really sell the role (Christian Bale should have won something for his part), along with a great story that makes you think, but leaves with a nice resolution. Granted, the action does force you to put your logic on hold for a second...but I really don't have a beef with that. So long as the characters actions and abilities have been explained prior to those actions being fleshed out on the screen (ala the Gun Karta training, which explains WHY he can stand in the center of a circle of bad thugs and still take them down) then I'm okay with it.
It was this movie that made me want to read 1984. Does a lot better job at the whole "government control" theme than V for Vendetta ever did.
The theme of the movie is brilliant, and Kurt Wimmer does a great job of showing why humans must feel, even if that leads to bad choices down the road.』
(An action-packed character metamorphosis) 『Great action film with a couple slices of humanity thrown in. Christian Bale gives a great performance as John Preston, a secret policeman working for a emotion-banning totalitarian government. His job is to kill anyone who skips their daily dose of fluid that takes away all sensation, emotional and physical; but when Preston neglects to take the sense eradicating medicine, he begins to experience feelings and sensations... and doesn't want to let them go.
It is really heart warming to see Bale take his character from a calculated killer to a determined freedom fighter, especially during the puppy and sunrise scenes. His resolve to destroy the government that has denied everyone emotional freedom is powerful, and as a result the gunfight scenes are pretty satisfying.
The only peeve I have with Equilibrium is it's rushed climax; the main bad guys are defeated far too easily. Also, the special effects look a little dated for 2002 standards, but Bale's acting and the fight scenes more than make up for it. Aside from that, this film is a solid action/thriller in the vein of 1984 and V for Vendetta. Rent it!』
(Fantastic Directorial Debut for A Young Talent) 『Several years ago I dated a girl who had an older brother with an expansive DVD collection. From time to time she would let me borrow some of his DVDs, and one time we watched a science fiction/action movie called Equilibrium. I so thoroughly enjoyed this movie that she bought me a copy of my own, and it quite possibly will go down as one of the crowning hallmarks of our relationship.
Receiving a limited theatrical release on December 6, 2002, Equilibrium is the directorial debut of Kurt Wimmer. Wimmer also wrote the script, and even invented the incredibly unique fighting style on display throughout the movie known as the Gun Kata.
Equilibrium is set in an Orwellian future where human emotion is outlawed. The film fills in the reasons for this drastic step for the audience over the opening credits, but basically after World War III ends humans realize that they cannot afford World War IV. As a means to an end, any sort of content that invokes emotion is outlawed, and the citizens of this new society take designer medication with robot-like precision several times a day to rid themselves of emotion.
Music, movies, television, paintings, and essentially art of any sort are rated "EC-10" for emotional content (a subtle jab at the MPAA ratings system) and are to be destroyed on sight. In the first scene, police raid the home of a group of resistance fighters and find the original "Mona Lisa," which they proceed to incinerate with a flame-thrower.
Christian Bale stars as John Preston, a member of the elite Grammaton Cleric. The Grammaton are practitioners of the aforementioned Gun Kata, and their job is to seek out and eradicate sense offenders, as they are called in the film. Bale really shines as he portrays a full range of emotions as Preston. He begins as a cold, emotionless (literally) servant of the state. As the movie progresses his human nature slowly takes over, and he manages to portray the onslaught of emotions quite well.
A good example is the scene when Preston hears music for the first time. Wimmer chose the first movement of Beethoven's 9th Symphony for this scene, and its powerful impact is readily apparent on Preston as well as the audience.
The movie has merits other than Bale's performance. The cinematography and music all help to set the proper tone. Taye Diggs and Sean Bean do not disappoint in supporting roles. The action is very tightly knit and well choreographed. On-screen combat is filmed in such a way that viewers can actually see what is happening. Despite some elaborate fight scenes, no wires were used for any of the stunts. This gives the finished product a classic B-movie feel, but this is definitely a good thing in this case.
One of the biggest problems with Equilibrium is a glaring example of unfinished visual effects late in the movie. I understand the movie was made on a budget, but such an oversight is just unacceptable in a major motion picture. There are a few minor plot holes towards the end as well, but these are definitely overshadowed by the technical flaw.
The DVD includes very meager special features, but there are two entertaining commentaries that are full of interesting information. Kurt Wimmer really poured himself into both writing and directing this film, and his passion is apparent even in his commentary track. There is one behind-scenes-featurette that is fun but not outstanding.
Equilibrium is a well-done sci-fi/action movie that is underappreciated. It has drawn comparisons to Gattaca and Blade Runner, but it is in no way a cheap derivative. The Gun Kata is a wholly original form of combat that will offer plenty of awe-inspiring moments. All things considered, this movie is definitely not offensive to the senses.』
(Can emotions be taken away?) 『Can you imagine having your emotions banned from society? Well, if you can't, then you'll have to watch Equilibrium to see for yourself. Here, we see a Fascist regime that has banned all forms of human emotions. Christian Bale is John Preston, a man of the highest rank for this notorious empire. At first, he sees human emotions as a plague upon humanity, but after he doesn't take his medicine due to an accident, he beings to experience emotions. Here, we get to see the good things in life, like music and color. But that's not the only thing that makes this film so recognizable. We also have some tense action sequences. They may not be very realistic, but they're still so spectacular to look at. The cast is a great ensemble, though I did find Emily Watson to be a bit wooden at times (for a person who actually HAS emotion in this movie). Overall, I tried hard to love this movie, but I ended but only liking it. It is a very good film, but it's not one of my favorites (mostly due to the slow pace in the middle of the film, and some unnecessary choral music).』
(Great Scifi Movie with Christian Bale) 『A story, basically, about what happens after WWIII,and the establishment of a futuristic city where people are injected with a drug to stop them from feeling emotions(the leader believes that this was the cause of mans agression).Christian Bale plays a cop who hunts down, and mostly kills "sense offenders",but one day he accidentally breaks the vile of his dose of the drug, and he starts feeling emotions(he does a good job of showing emotion and what he tries to do to mask it from everyone). He joins the resistance-kills the leader of the city, and the resistance wins.Story in a nut shell.
The fight scenes are really cool. I recommend this movie if you like Christian Bale(Sean Bean is featured in the first 10 or 15 minutes),and if you like a great scifi movie!!!』 『THE MATRIX MEETS MINORITY REPORT』 『A broad science fiction thriller in a classic vein,Equilibriumtakes a respectable stab at aFahrenheit 451-like cautionary fable. The story finds Earth's post-World War III humankind in a state of severe emotional repression: If no one feels anything, no one will be inspired by dark passions to attack their neighbors. Writer-director Kurt Wimmer's monochromatic,Metropolis-influenced cityscape provides an excellent backdrop to the heavy-handed mission of John Preston (Christian Bale), a top cop who busts "sense offenders" and crushes sentimental, sensual, and artistic relics from a bygone era. Predictably, Preston becomes intrigued by his victims and that which they die to cherish; he stops taking his mandatory, mood-flattening drug and is even aroused by a doomed prisoner (Emily Watson). Wimmer's wrongheaded martial arts/dueling guns motif is sheer silliness (a battle over a puppy doesn't help), butEquilibriumshould be seen for Bale's moving performance as a man shocked back to human feeling.--Tom Keogh』

Timothy's World Coffee
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Tim's coffee is the best!) 『If you like a flavored coffee that gives you great flavor and still retains excellent coffeehood, then Timothy's French Vanilla Decaf is for you! The vanilla scent and flavor are rich and last throughout the entire cup, but do not overpower the coffee, which is very good. As a matter of fact, I have not tried a single Timothy's flavored coffee that was NOT good! Other brands, who shall remain nameless in this review, come nowhere near the quality of Timothy's. So, if you're looking for consistency of quality, stop looking: you've found it in Tim's!』
(Excellent decaf K-Cup coffee!) 『The is an outstanding coffee. I have tinnitus and therefore must stay away from caffeine. Timothy's has done a wonderful job of keeping the coffee flavor IN the cup and the light French Vanilla flavor give an overall light enhancement. This was a GREAT find!』
(Fine choice for a Decaf) 『This is one of our favorite decafs that we have tried. Has just enough hint of vanilla and has good flavor too.』
(Not My Favorite) 『The Hazelnut version of this coffee is much better than the vanilla. I'm usually a huge vanilla fan, but this coffee is too mild for me (and I like a medium roast). There are better options out there for the decaf coffee drinker.』
(Timothy's coffee is the best!!) 『I have been so happy with this coffee and with the delivery service that I keep coming back again and again. Thanks for a great product and for terrific service.』 『This decaffeinated coffee is quite decadent with the subtle sophistication of all-natural vanilla. Enjoy a rich treat that is calorie and caffeine free.』

Summer Infant, Inc.
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Nice Thicker Changing Pad) 『My daughter just adopted two little boys 1&2 so back to diapers again. This time we purchased a dresser and placed the changing pad (which comes with anchoring straps) on the top and it works just great for both boys&saves Mommy's back. The pad is quite thick which is unlike many pads on the market which give little support during the changes. These are husky little guys&the pad is both long enough&supportive enough to be comfortable for the toddlers and to do the job well. A wise purchase indeed.』
(Great changing pad!) 『Easy to clean, perfect size, good straps. My son is comfortable and I feel he is safe and secure. Very good.』
(Everything a changing pad is suppose to be) 『After my husband nearly dropped our baby changing him directly on a dresser, I decided a contour changing pad would ease my mind. Just the curve seems to hold our wiggly, active 5 month old in place. We don't use the strap and recently cut them off since they were catching on the drawers of the dresser. I do use a changing sheet/pad on to of the pad for ease of cleaning. The price and size of this pad was ideal. Try it out.』
(Great Changing Pad) 『This changing pad is nearly perfect. It is thick for the baby's comfort and large enough to accommodate a 1 year-old. The bottom surface really sticks to the dresser top so I don't have to worry about the pad sliding around. The only drawback is the little indentations left by the quilting are difficult to clean if the baby has had a bowel movement on the pad itself. Not a frequent occurrence, but I do like a super-clean changing pad. This isn't an issue if you use a changing pad cover, which I do not. All in all, this pad is exactly what I was looking for.』 『Features: Changing pad made from PEVA vinyl and designed for ultimate comfort, contoured walls help keep baby on pad. Safety belt straps baby comfortably&securely on pad. Security strap keeps pad attached to furniture.』

(Filters Are Fine...But) 『The filters work great. The only problem is the basically flawed coffee pot that they fit into. Even went so far as to send a letter to Krups about the engineering errors in this product. No response.』
(Fast shipment, great cost) 『These filters were shipped very quickly and the product was in perfect condition. I will definitely buy again from them.』
(Small filters) 『The filters are exactly as ordered and arrived quickly, but Krups has reduced the size of the filters so that now the filter only fills the bottom half of the filter holder, they seem to work just fine though.』

Apple Computer
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (**BEWARE -- THIS IS NOT A NEW ITEM!**) 『This is not a new item as is listed! I purchased this because it was listed as NEW and NOT listed as refurbished, and paid more than the price of the refurbs to ensure that. Mine came with scratches and dings UNDER the clear plastic cling stickers and the cord winding wings are so worn that they no longer snap into place. This is obviously a refurbished product trying to be passed off as new. Of all the reviews I read, no one seemed clued in to that. It is re-packed, probably by Apple, the cord is definitely new with the longer cord protector. It has been cleaned up, and new Apple protective wrap has been put on. It does work fine, however, if I'd wanted a refurbished product, I would have just bought that and saved my money. Pay the $20 more and get it direct from Apple ($14 after shipping) if you want a new one. Maybe the seller is unaware that they are selling refurbished stuff, but I doubt it. Watch out! The product does work fine, and did come really quickly.』
(One Good Charger) 『The charger works great and I love the magnetic connection, it has come in hardy many of times.』
(Great Deal on Replacement Power Adapter) 『I needed a replacement power adapter for my MacBook Pro. I've had mine for a while and the wire started to fray. This was a super deal and I'm happy with the speedy delivery!』
(Works like the original.) 『I have a 17 inch MacBook Pro. I was always forgetting to bring my charger to work. The battery would last most of the day, but only with some careful power management. This OEM charger works just like the original. I leave it at work and the original at home and never have to think about it. The only caution is that this charger does not come with the longer plug with cable, just the plug that attaches directly to the block as pictured.』
(MacBook power supply) 『I bought this after a power supply failed. I bought a refurbished unit at a considerable savings and it was delivered the next day; before I found that Apple would replace the original one for free. I keep one at my home office and the other in my computer bag for travel. I was very happy with the speed of the service.』 『The 85 Watt MagSafe Power Adapter features a magnetic DC connector that ensures your power cable will disconnect if it experiences undue strain and helps prevent fraying or weakening of the cables over time. In addition, the magnetic DC helps guide the plug into the system for a quick and secure connection. When the connection is secure, an LED located at the head of the DC connector will light; an amber light lets you know that your portable is charging, while a green light tells you that you have a full charge. An AC cord is provided with the adapter for maximum cord length, while the AC wall adapter (also provided) gives users an even easier and more compact way to travel.Designed to be the perfect traveling companion, the adapter has a clever design, which allows the DC cable to be wound neatly around itself for easy cable storage. This power adapter recharges the lithium polymer battery while the system is off, on, or in sleep mode. It also powers the system if you choose to operate without a battery.』

So far I have not had any issues with installation, backups, and general use. Its pretty small, lightweight, and has a very nice finish to it. I would definitely recommend this for someone who is looking for a compact portable hard drive for backups and taking your files with you.』
(Stopped Working after only 1 day) 『All i did was put some music in it and as soon as i unplugged it from my computer i get an error message saying "Delayed Write Failed". It does not seem like this error can be fixed, I tried everything and it just does not want to work again.』
(Excellent backup accessory) 『Total plug and play operation. Basically just sits there making no noise and backing up my pc on schedule. Works as advertised..what a concept!』
(Prepare to Contact the Geek Squad) 『I bought a new laptop and didn't want to slow it down by downloading a bunch of software of music or videos. So, I purchased this product. When it arrived I plugged it in and transferred all of my iTunes music and videos immediately. I also put Rosetta Stone onto it. There was a constant humming sound but I didn't think much of it - assumed it was just working. I left it plugged in and put the computer on the table. I came back about a week later and tried to access my song files. No go. The computer would no longer even acknowledge that the Seagate FreeAgent was attached. I shut it all down, unplugged the Seagate, waited and then restarted everything...No go. I put the Seagate on a second computer - nothing. I tried a third computer - Nothing. I no longer have access to any of my files. All iTunes downloades are permanently locked away and cannot be accessed. Luckily Rosetta Stone had CDs but as for any other files, they're gone forever. I tried Seagate and was told to retry what I had already tried which obviously did not work. Basically I paid for a black brick. I would not put any money towards this product or company again. I can't even begin to replace all that was lost.』
(Great product) 『The instillation was simple and fast. The instuction for use clear and easy to understand. I have backed up all my files and now don't worry about losing them. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (nice for the price) 『This cam does what I bought it to do; allows me to chat with family in other states. Yes, it doesn't do so well in low light, but nothing that can't be fixed by turning on a light or using the low light enhancement feature.
One missing feature for most webcams, including this one, a screw on the bottom to attach on a tripod. My one complaint is that it is hard to find a good place to position the camera.. either it's too high and you have a huge forehead or it's too low and everyone is looking up your nose. When you do find a place to position the camera, the base makes the camera fall over, or the the usb cord pulls it out of position.』
(For 22 bucks? Whadya kidding? Buy this for a great cheap cam!) 『Title says it all, can't beat the features for the price the quality is very good!』
(decent webcam with 1 tiny issue) 『i recently bought this web cam for my pc to chat on skype and make youtube videos its a great webcam easy to install easy to use great video and audio the only complain i have is when i make a vid i hear a small humm in the background that i cant get rid off but other than that its a great web cam bottom line its a great web cam for a decent price with only 1 small issiue its still worth getting』
(Great Webcam) 『The price was right&the quality was exceptional. I have used the camera on several video chat sites with consistently good results. I would have preferred a higher pixel density, but that would have been far more costly. This is an exceptional value.』

Usually ships in 1 to 2 months Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Saving my sanity) 『I bought these after reading several reviews and I am so glad I did! My boyfriend works nights and the bedroom is right above the living room. I couldn't watch TV at a volume that I could hear it that he couldn't. These have saved me- My couch is only about 10 feet from the TV so it works great, small amount of interference if you walk into another room but for my needs- 5 stars!』
(Great Sound......Great Value!) 『What a joy not to be tethered to my computer any longer. I listen to a lot of music, watch tons of movies, and these headphones reproduce the sound wonderfully. They're also quite comfortable and they have great range. I can wander all over the house, even out to get the mail, and the reception is still strong. The battery life is great, too. The controls could be a little easier to use, but once you set the volume where you want it, you'll only use the on/off switch after that, anyway, so it's not a big deal. I'd recommend these headphones in a heartbeat.』
(Disappointing reception) 『Seems like the reviews on Amazon for this product fall in two categories - 5 star love-fests and 1-star complaints of reception. I'm afraid this review falls into the latter category. I'm using these headphones literally 8 feet from the receiver, and I hear distortion when I turn my head or just when something in the universe shifts and causes these headphones to make a high pitched noise. Also, you have to get them balanced PERFECTLY on the cradle to charge - otherwise the little charging light goes out.
The name implies German quality, but these are Made in China, and seem very cheap and poorly engineered. Back to Amazon they go...』
(Amazing product) 『I returned to college two years ago and I had tons of project due every week, plus I worked. Our house is small and you can hear the TV in our computer room so my husband and I were always having battles over volume control. My grandmother recommended this amazing headset. I purchased one and it saved my marriage and helped my get a 3.9 GPA. The clarity of this headset is amazing. They make you feel like you are in a theater. We loved this product so much I have purchase a set for my father and father-in-law. I most have if you have small children also.』
(Don't Buy These Without Listening to Them First) 『I bought these based on the good reviews I'd read but once I got them I was extremely disappointed in them. Maybe I'm just used to better quality than some of the other reviewers but in my opinion the sound quality of these headphones is terrible. You get almost no bass response at all. There is a very noticeable hiss at all volumes and the volume will only go to a certain level no matter what the source volume is set at. The earphones are comfortable but do make your ears hot. They are like wearing earmuffs. The seller I bought them from wouldn't allow returns of earphones so I ended up giving them to my teenage son. $65 wasted.』 『SENNHEISER RS120 -- Now you can enjoy complete freedom of movement when listening to music or using your computer! Brother TN 350 in the Brother Box , sealed...new. There is a FREE Fed x shipping label to ship your old, used toner. If you buy from Amazon (sold and shipped from Amazon) and ever have an issue, Amazon will take care of it. I have always found Amazon to be more than fair. If you buy from a seller who mis-states or misrepresents a product I believe Amazon will stand behind you, the purchaser. The TN 350 toner was easy to install. Do use a large sheet of paper as toner is bound to get on things. And, I did do the "tape the hole/plastic viewer for more life and it works. Helps the budget.』
(TN350 doesn't work in the Brother HL-5250DN) 『The HL-5250DN is a fine printer, but if you purchase it, don't purchase a TN350 cartridge as I did, relying on the Amazon representation that it will work. You'll find that the TN350 will not mate with the drum unit TN550 cartridge combo that comes in the printer. Maybe you can spring for a different drum unit (think another $80) and get that combo to work; I don't know. But the TN350 cartridge categorically won't work in a new HL-5250DN, unless you want to try your hand with a hacksaw. And the TN350 isn't heavy enough to make a good door stop.
To be fair, Amazon isn't alone in representing that the TN350 will work. The Brother user manual specifies the TN550 or TN580 (high capacity).』

(Present for my grand-daughter) 『I live in the UK and use Amazon.com to buy gifts for my family in Denver. I have not seen the toy in question, but my grand-daughter loves Disney and, in particular, the Princesses. I understand from my son and daughter-in-law that it is a very popular item and that it has helped my 4-year-old grand-daughter with her learning.』
(Leapster games make learning Fun!) 『My girlfriends daughter enjoyed this game. Leapster games apply learning concepts to games. Good graphics and sound.』
(Fabulous game for girls!!) 『I bought this game for my daughter's 5th birthday. She loves princesses, so this game was perfect for her. She loves all of the characters and learning activities that it comes with. I like that you can choose which level you want to play each game, so it can be played at many different learning stages. Right now she is just learning how to put letter sounds together to read simple words, but eventually when she can read more words she will be able to do the more difficult levels. This game really is so fun for girls and I love that she is actually learning something while she's playing instead of just staring at a screen or playing with something that isn't very stimulating. My 3-year-old daughter loves to play around with game on the Leapster too. She doesn't really know how to play the games yet, but she loves the princess characters and she is quite entertained by it as well. We have only had our Leapster for a few months, but it has been such a great learning tool and fun activity - I just wish we bought it and the Disney Princess game a long time ago! I would definitely recommend this game to anyone!!』
