We learn that every time Yonekuni has been feeling "under the weather" he will seek the heat within Shiro's arms [or body] and now that the truth has been uncovered they have stopped being "friends", one because Yonekuni I believe feels not only embarrassment but a little shame he is of course supposed to hate men, right? So Shiro pines for Yonekuni and tries to get back on his feet, while Yonekuni drowns himself in the bodies of other women. But what happens when Shiro's friend decides to claim him for his own? Yonekuni sure isn't going to let that happen any time soon! But what is it about Shiro that gets Yonekuni's heart pumping? He's human, boring and plain, right? Then why does Shiro's face and body while making love make Yonekuni's defenses drop? Maybe Yonekuni should stop denying and start looking to the truth of what Shiro is.
Also we get to see Senpai Kumakashi, Teru the Bear who in Volume 1 we saw intending for Norio to be his, but loses to Kumimasa. In Volume 2 though we get to see Kumakashi prepared for his own mating to a foreigner by his mother and grandmother who want him to provide a heavy weight Japanese brown bear to ensure their clan's survival as well as position. Unfortunately for Teru its not his mating partner who will bear his child but Teru himself! And so we are introduced to Joshua the a heavyweight foreigner bear, but Norio doesn't want to let his friend to mate against his will so he hatches a plan to make Joshua think he and Teru are boyfriends, of course this only enrages Joshua who despite his large stature is actually only sixteen and therefore a kid. But something happens between Joshua and Teru as they bar themselves away from the world for days mating, but soon misunderstanding threaten this couple as Joshua, who is a kid with the desires and temperament of one refuses to let Teru go without a fight against Norio that leads to a comic no holds bar against another heavyweight, Kumimasa who also misunderstands the situation. In end though a happily ever after is established in the Sex Pistols saga.
Tarako Kotobuki is an amazing mangaka, her art can take some time getting used to but her story work is one for the ages. Sex Pistols is a definite keeper in any yaoi fans collection, Tarako Kotobuki is incredible and I can't stress enough how much I love her work because she is just that good, you wont get the same type of feeling in other manga like you would in hers funny, sexy and with the most unique storyline with alpha males and cute submissive, again her art would take a little getting used to especially for those who are used to cute little ukes [sometimes Tarako Kotobuki likes her ukes just a little more grown up that they sometimes resemble seme's at first]
I do have a problem with the publishers of Blu though. I have bought volumes 1 and 2 of sex pistols and again just as I had with Wild Rock was missing the color picture art that's supposed to be included, instead all I had was a black and white page [cut off as well]. Another beef is the fact that many of the pages are cropped off, at one scene where Yonekuni literately flicks Norio off of Shiro my favorite part and yet I missed it because Blu wasn't able to deliver the whole shot was chopped in half and all i could see were the tops of Norio's ears. Lastly, the translations. Yes Love Pistols was in fact "Sex Pistols" it doesn't bother me that much but it does show something about the mangaka for calling her manga "Sex" Pistols instead of Love Pistols, much of the translations are not up to par to the original [in fact if I admit the scanlators that I had first read this from did a better job then Blu did]
But I do recommend people to take a look at this at their bookstores, and check inside before doing so just to make sure Blu has corrected this problem and included the color art that's supposed to be inside [From what I read a long time ago on their website they had actually refunded people their manga for Wild Rock and gave them the version with the color art inside]. I had actually bought this from Amazon so I wasn't able to take a look, but I recommend all yaoi fans to pick up a Tarako Kotobuki work, they wont be disappointed!』
(Hot stuff) 『When i read the love pistol vol1, i eager to read the next vol. I'm so curious bout the relation ship between yonekuni and the class president. Well the character of each person was very interesting also and this manga was my first yaoi manga that i bought originally and become my collection. Even i like this one compared with junjou romantica (^_^). If you don't bother about the fantasy story (which related to the human that change to the animals stuff) well yaoi lovers get this one.』
(Continues to be great) 『Continuing from the first volume this one continues to be interesting, hysterical, and angsty. Yonekuni's and Shiro's past is explored. Kunimasa and Norio's relationship continues to have its hiccups. The second part deals with Kumakashi, who was once in love with Norio. Kumakashi's grandmother decides it's time for him to have a child. Turns out its to be Kumakashi that's going to be the mother of the little one and he's not very happy about it. There are some intimate moments with nothing to graphic though. After the unconnected bonus story about the cursed lamp is a Note from the associated editor. It gives a peek behind the challenge of translating a story to keep it true to the story but also to make it understandable to us.』
(A fun read and yet adult read) 『This was a fun and adult read. The illustrations are gorgeous and the angst is keeps the story going....』 『While things remain tense between Yonekuni and Shiro at school, their respective friends try to cheer them up. It will be up to Kunimasa to clear up the confusion. But once Yonekuni awakens to the truth, will his thick skin be tough enough to handle the animal attraction? That is fine as long as he has Yoshiyuki with him. For 7 years these 2 guys have work together not acting upon their feelings for each other. But maybe both guys are just as confused over their exact feelings. Are they just employer/employee or friends or more than that? They only know they care for each other despite the constant bantering. Yasuie is the cheerful and carefree character with a heart of gold while Yoshiyuki is the brooding worry wart with an unhappy past. Abandoned as a baby in a locker, Yoshiyuki never found his own place in life until he meets Yasuie. But does he know that? Things come to a crossroad when Yoshiyuki reconciles with his adopted family and has to choose between family duty and Yasuie. As for Yasuie he is not about to let his guy go.
As this is an adaptation of a novel, there is an enjoyable and seamless plot here with some hilarious moments. Both characters are well developed and likable.
