As time goes by it delves into the making and breaking of a tragic figure. Life seems to be meaningless. Being twisted is normal. The upcoming book should be quite interesting. After his release from house arrest and return to the slums, Riki's relationship with Guy has been awkward at best. Before they are able to resolve any of their relationship issues, the security forces of the notorious Midas cross the border for an all-out invasion. Can anyone survive the attack of such powerful forces? Rerations < Ai No Kusabi Volume 5 (Yaoi Novel) (v. 5) >

(So entertaining!) I read the first book and thought it was pretty good but...this story just got better in the second vol. I loved when he told Amano that he only let him have Toyoa for a short time. Toya thought Hodaka didn't care about him and it was a onesided love.
When the younger author said Toya was on his private time and Hodaka told him that he has first rights to all Toya's private time, I thought Toya would object. He pushed the younger author away and left with his lover. Now that is a true Seme with his personal Uke that he is not willing to let go.
This is a romance story in which the Seme reminds me a little of Yuki, from Gravitation. He loves his lover but doesn't know how to express it. Yum yum!! Buy the book you won't be dissapointed, I promise.
This yaoi novel is so entertaining - I couldn't put it down! The second volume of the series picks up where volume 1 left off with the relationship of Toya and Hodaka. Hodaka is a rich, handsome, talented author who (despite all his cool charm) is socially awkward and inexperienced in relationships. He seems to really get off on being sadistic during sex. Toya is the cute little (although they say he's 27 years old, he acts about 16) uke who loves being emotionally abused during sex. So they're perfect for each other! A new character, Amano, is introduced in this book. He is young, tall, and of course good-looking and sexy. Amano falls for Toya. Just as Toya decides he can't stand not having Hodaka's whole heart, Amano makes his move....The ending is all that you could ask for. Angst, despair, drama, love, sex...you get the picture. This is such a fun book to read! I enjoyed Volume 1, but Volume 2 is even better in my opinion. However, if you get squeamish with S&M, although all in good fun, you had better leave it alone. Plus this is triple XXX Toya Sakurai is swimming in success after his work with the bestselling author Kai Hodaka, who is also Toya's secret lover. But with expectations so high, his company soon gives him a new project: find a fresh and exciting new author to work for Sozan Publishing. Toya is at a total loss until he comes across the energetic Yo Amano's inspiring debut novel. At first, everything is just business as Toya spends more and more time with the young and sexy new author. But Amano is bright and sensitive, and Toya finds his heart racing with excitement every time they work together.
What about Hodaka though? Toya's cruel and cold lover sees through Amano's charm and tries to reclaim Toya with his usual physical allure. Emotions run high in the second volume of The Guilty, where Toya learns it's never a good idea to mix business with pleasure. Rerations < The Guilty Volume 2: Original Sin (Yaoi novel) (v. 2) >

(Great Series!)
(Pretty, But Noticeably Flawed) A fantastic book, great story and wonderful graphics. I hope this story can be continued in future novels. This series has a great story about a young man comming to terms with his love of another man. In this book he has to come to terms with the fact he is jealous of his lover's beautiful publisher. In the second story line the younger of our lovers has just come back when he left he didn't leave a note and didn't write for a whole year. Misunderstanding abound all for a happy ending. I feel kind of bad giving this book 3 stars. It's sort of on the brink of four stars, but there were just some problems that kept on nagging at me.
Let me first say that while I was reading this, I was totally engrossed. The art is very pretty, the storyline flows pretty well, and the romance is nice. Especially during romantic scenes, the art is lovely. I won't say I regret buying it, but...
After I finished reading it, the problems just kept hanging over my head. I can't say I like the coersion and rape and whatnot. I don't mind it if it's meant to be sadistic, but when they should be in love... In its defense, there is much less coersion than in the first volume, and I love the Junjo Egoist story, which is sweeping and romantic and beautiful and whatnot. But the Junjo Romantica story is beginning to get on my nerves. Manipulative, rich, talented, intelectually-perfect seme occasionally force-smexing inferior, struggling uke.
Unfortunately, I may also be comparing this to Hybrid Child again, which was visually stunning and unbelievable, but it just doesn't seem to live up.
I don't necessarily regret buying it, and I may (by my own masochistic nature) buy the third volume when it arrives, but it won't necessarily become one of my absolute most favorite mangas ever. Misaki and Usagi have been living together for over a month now, but when a beautiful editor named Aikawa enters the picture, will Misaki question his love for Usagi? Later, things get rocky in Hiroki and Nowaki's relationship when Nowaki contemplates leaving to study abroad! Will anything give these couples a happy ending?
