Pros: easy to assemble, fun to push around.
Cons: the bubble factor is not worth your trouble; soap solution will spill on the ground at anything except a horizontal postion, bubbles will not work unless an exact tested mix (not the one supplied with the toy) and even then no guarantees.
Overall: if you wish to use it as just a push-around mower toy (no bubbles), it's fine; if you wish to have bubbles, don't buy the toy - you will be disappointed as will your child, grandchild, niece, etc.
My two year old son loves this mower and as an added bonus so do my dogs. It is great, it wears everyone out! I knew my son would probably like it, but I got it mainly so he could "help" me mow the lawn since I'm a single parent. It however has turned out to be the neighborhood's favorite. In the month we've had it, I bet it has gone at least a hundred miles. Also, thank goodness for the giant bottles of bubbles sold at Walmart!
This requires pretty constant, hard pushing to make bubbles. I have one and my friend has two, none really blow bubbles that well. Plus, when you pick it up (to put it away, etc) it leaks bubble solution terribly- always a mess on my garage floor when I go to take these out or put them away.
This is my son's all time favorite toy. He could care less about the bubbles. It goes everywhere with us.
Bought this toy for my two year old grandson, not only does he loves it; but also is 4 year old sister who is always looking for a chance to take it from him so she can walk around with it. They love watching the bubbles come out and trying to catch them. The two year old thinks he's doing a great job on mowing the grass just like his grandpa. Easy to refill and hours of fun.

This game has 4 levels of difficulty: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert, with 10 cards for each. I bought it for a 8 year old and she completed the Beginner levels. Her 6 year old sister wanted to try and managed to solved a couple levels.

The Intermediate levels are harder to solve and Advanced / Expert levels are a puzzle lover's delight, adults should be challenged! The solution is on the back of the card, helpful when I got stuck, then I tried again without looking at the solution. Imagine the player's satisfaction when the red car is freed from the traffic jam! This game was a good find.

If this is relevant: someone with an advanced degree in engineering saw our game and gave it a try on Expert level, soon was totally absorbed!

We purchased this product for our waiting room (we see a lot of families in our office) and it has been a hit! Both adults and kids can't wait to try the different puzzles! It is nice because the puzzles have different challenge levels, so there is always a puzzle for every age level. I would definitely recommend this product!
My son received this for his 8th birthday. He loved it and enjoys solving the puzzles. The great thing is that he can challenge his young adult cousins to see who can solve a puzzle the fastest, so it is something that is not limited to children or to playing alone.
My daughter has ADHD as well as learning disabilities. Her occupational therapist recommended this game and used it in her sessions. Even at 9 years old, she was somehow able to go through all the levels of the game (something which most adults can't do).

I would have NEVER thought my ADHD child would love this game. I knew I did but she isn't someone who sits down and concentrates on anything. I don't know what makes this game special but it certainly accesses a part of her brain that other things don't.

Whether you or your child can go through all the levels, this game is worth the money. It teaches planning skills, critical thinking skills, spacial skills AND it is fun.

I think this is my best toy purchase EVER! It is not something that could be played in the car though--too many pieces. But it does have a travel bag so you can use it at your destination!
My son will be 5 y.o. in several months. He started from junior set and finished it very fast. Now we have regular set (from 8 to adult) too, and he can solve all problems except #40. But it's really hard. I can't do it too. Great game for all ages!

Ordered this cover for our recently purchased pool for the grandkids. Cover did the job - it covered the pool. Cover seems a little larger than necessary, sinks into the pool a little&gets covered with water so algae on top is a problem, but we can live with it. Seems sturdy and is easy to put on even by one person. Price was good, item arrived promptly. Satisfied with purchase.
This is a must if you get the Easy Set Pool. This helps keep the pool so much cleaner, which makes it much easier to control the chemicals balance on.
The cover is used at a private campground and there is a lot of traffic making dust. The cover is a lifesaver.

My boys really like this. The only complaint I would have, is they tend to put a stamp on color after color and the yellow is already blue. They might not do this if they were seperate stamps. The convienence of one stamp pad outweighs that problem.
This was part of a gift for my 4 year old grandson. It was exactly as represented and is just what I needed for him.
I've gotten the same enthusiasm for this stamp pad from my 4-yr-old daughter and 8-yr-old nephew. My nephew enjoyed my daughter's horse stamp set, so I bought him the dinosaur set recently. There is something extra special for the kids in getting that BIG, bright, extra stamp pad with the stamp pad in the stamp set! The colors are vibrant and offer so much more creativity when the kids are using the stamps. A worthwhile purchase!
It's beautiful and easy to use and carry around. My kid loves to add stamps to her drawings and colorings, and it's a good price too.
We've spent a fortune on stamp pads of individual colors, and this one is the best. It's fun for stamping and fingerprinting (like any of the Ed Emberley finger/thumb/funprint books). We love Ed Emberley around here, and his books are all multicolored, so you have a choice, either lose some of the magic with monochromatic fingerprinting, spend $30 on individual stamp pads - if you can find them, or BUY THIS!

The set arrived in it's own carrying case and in good condition. The six mallets and the stakes are made from a good quality hardwood and the set includes all items necessary to play a rousing game of croquet. The balls are a bit small based on my memory of other sets I have used but are certainly playable. Time will tell about the durability of the items but summer will certainly include several challenging games of croquet in this household.
I was able to get this set at a local retailer for only $25, needless to say it was a no brainier compared to the much more expensive sets. The proportions are perfect for children under 9 years old. This is not an adult set, but you can make it work even if you're really tall (just bend a bit more!). The set includes every thing you will need and the one sheet instructions shows a diagram of a proper court. The nylon bad holds everything, including the assembled sticks.

The problem with most of these assemble / dissemble Croquet sets is the handles always fall off in due time. So, I used very good quality wood glue (get the indoor / outdoor glue - not just indoor) and put it on both sides of the groves in the mallet head, then hand twist tight and let it dry.

You will be creating essentially 6 permanent sticks. The directions are fairly complex, but Halex Corporation is part of Regent Sports (think Spalding too). So, you can get decent customer support on most of the items they sell, plus they print all the rules of the major outdoor games on their site (Bocce, Croquet, Badminton, etc.) :

This is a nice set. Sturdy and lots of back yard fun. The only thing I don't like is that in order for the mallets to fit back into the carry case for storage, you have to unscrew the head from the handle. Then each time you play you have to reassemble the mallets.
I have never played Croquet it was fun and the set is really nice all wood and the carrying case is nylon but well made!!
I actually bought this game just for the hoops as I needed a set and this entire croquet set cost less than merely purchasing a set of wickets by themselves. This set will not endure a lot of abuse and probably wouldn't last more than a couple of years, but it is a bargain. I purchased a set that cost 13 times what I paid for this, and it is definitely not 13 times better. Yes, the balls are lightweight and the construction and wood quality are not superb, but for what you pay for this set you definitely get your money's worth.

This supposed "toy" feels durable in your hands and when its fully loaded with the 5 AA batteries behind the head strap, well it feels like hardware instead of a plastic toy.

THe view from these is actually a monocle viewer, coming thru the right eye only via a tiny display in the eyepiece, the left eyepiece can flip up and allow normal vision.

Bottom line, these WORK. Try them out in pitch black and you will be satisfied. Has toggles for viewing in green/white, or black/white. Near or far mode and an on/off switch.

Only down side is the narrow field of view. You can stand with your arm outstretched in front of you and you are limited to seeing things starting at your wrist and further away. So, no fine needle work in the dark.

Good buy for under $70, for anyone.
We have all kinds of raccoons, opossums and other critters who come to our feeders at night. Thought this would be awesome to get to see them in the dark. The trouble is, the night vision doesn't work through windows. The infra-red light that you need to see in the dark reflects off the window. So you have to be outside to use this. That's ok, but don't plan on walking around while using it. You will get dizzy, it's hard to know where you are and where you're walking. So that limits the toy to sitting down outside and using it. Even then, I can't wear the googles too long or I get a killer headache (there difference in the light and the infra-red are tolerable but you don't want to overload it).
This is a lot of fun. It really works! You can only see out of one eye and there are batteries involved, but a very interesting toy.
Actually, I did not realize that these night goggles were a toy. I had read about them in the Dallas Morning News in an article highlighting new technology. One of the attractions was the price: $[...] versus several hundred.

Perhaps a grandchild will find them entertaining for a while. In the dark, objects within 10 feet appear as the old photo negatives.

Next time, I need to do more research.
This is a neat toy. Basically the simplified version of the real night vision goggles that soldiers use. I used it in a pitch dark room and could clearly see everything. It is the real thing noy like the toys that classify themselves as night vision goggles because it shines a light outwards. The only disappointing quality is that it's for one eye sight only. I guess if it's for both eyes then it would cost just as much as a realy pair!

I had to return the tv...It did not work out for the space I was
putting in(on top of my refrigerator).
The looks and quality of this 15" TV are 'blowing me away.' Setting it up (scanning for channels)is easy. If I can do it, everybody can. The DVD player works well. I just love it. I've got it connected to on a roof antenna. Picture quality is 1 A, no less. I highly recommend it.
I just finished setting up the television and was quite happy with every aspect until I tried to play a DIVX disc. Then another and another. Nothing. So, I went back to the item description to see if I'd misread the item description, but that was not the case.

There is nothing about this Toshiba model playing DIVX discs in the accompanying manual and no DIVX symbol on the television front. (The 19 inch set does have the symbol and does play DIVX discs) Unfortunately for me, no one who reviewed this 15.6 inch tv set mentioned the inaccurate description on the Amazon item page (perhaps I'm the only one who would use a television this size to play DIVX discs?) or I'd not have bought this particular model.

Needed a white tv for our kitchen, this one fit the ticket perfectly. Not too big or small and in white. Little pricey but pickings were slim. Picture and channels are slow to appear or change, but come on, it's in my kitchen not my living room, can live with it.:)
After reading other reviews I thought this would be a great TV for my mother. I was right. She loved it. It replaced the 13" standard TV that she has. Plus it took up less space on her night stand. With the built in DVD player less wires showing. On one review they talked about a bright light. After installing I found no such bright light. There was a light showing when it was on or off. That light was no brighter than the LED Clock on the night stand. Mom said this was a great Mothers Day Present for her.
This makes the third Toshiba for me. 26"LCD/Built in DVD Player,32" LCD, and now this 15.6"LCD/DVD Player. All are doing great

This toy is a lot of fun for a child between late 3 yrs and up to about 6...after that...the will want more fire power. The crank is good for this age because the kids do not have the arm strength for the other "soaker" type devices that shoot up to 70 feet or beyond. Younger than 3 might have a problem holding the device up full of water with a single hand while trying to crank with the other. With regards to leaking...oh yeah...it leaks...not sure why but they do...but they do. If you are in a pool or lake environment...not really a big deal because the fact you are in water...but if you are filling and running around the yard...keep in mind you'll get wet.
I agree with some of the other comments. This is the perfect gun for a small child that wants to get in on the water gun action. The crank makes it so easy for him to play. Great buy. I highly recommend it!
Our youngest son felt really bad when he realized he didn't "really" get me a mother's day gift, so he wanted to pick out his father's day gift himself. He said, "Mom can we get on Amazon, and let me pick out dad's father's day present?" He's such a cutie, and I thought it was so thoughtful of him to want to get his dad a gift he'd picked out all by himself. Soooo....we got on Amazon, and what do you supposed he wanted to get for his dad? A watergun! I had to laugh to myself because this was very serious business to him!

Okay, so the watergun...it's a great watergun! The best! That's why our little guy picked this one out for himself! Oh, yeah - dad needed someone to play waterguns with so he, very thoughtfully got a gun for himself, and his brother, AND his dad!

Our son LOVES this gun. He can't pump the bigger guns, so this one is just right for him. Now, come father's day, everyone will be happy, and our son will be so proud of himself for picking out the perfect gift! ;)
This is a fun toy to use in a swimming pool. But it leaks badly, so I wouldn't recommend it if the purpose is to use it anywhere else (e.g., in the street).
This is a pretty slick water gun. As you turn the handle, the nozzles turn as well (like a machine gun?). Anyway, the added plus here is that it is far easier for smaller children to turn the handle on this than pull the trigger on some other water guns that need long hands with strong fingers. My 3 year old has no problems with this whatsoever. It is a family favorite. Not difficult to fill either. It is all plastic - and I would not expect it to last more than a season.

One of my favorites, my Mom bought this game years ago and it's fun for all ages. Good quality because it made it through 15+ years of abuse and still works, though I think we replaced a few lost checkers, and ones the dog chewed up.
I owned this game when I was five years old and purchased it this Christmas for my six year old son.

Like most things, from games to Snickers bars, they have reduced the size and cut some corners, but all in all, this game is as much fun as I remember. My six year old loves it, as do my my older children. It teaches strategy and planning and sharpens thinking skills.

Pretty good value as well.
We love this game in our house, we can play for hours. This game is perfect for adults, for kids, even for babies! My daughter perfected her fine motor skills trying to drop the pieces into the slots. Yes, I superised her. My 7 year old can play for hours and she is surprisingly good.
I recommend this toy highly.
I bought this for my 5 year old nephew. I loved this toy as a child and thought this would be something fun for my nephew to play with. He is also just learning checkers and chess. While he hasn't gotten all the strategy down (plan ahead, think about what your competitior will do next) but it was very fun to play for him, and he seemed to be understanding the need to look at the entire board before you play.

I played like I would with anyone (although stopped him some times to think about his moves) but in about 25 games he really won on his own 5 games. Kept us occuppied for hours, and now is playing with his parents.

I played this all the time with my sisters and always enjoyed it.
I remember playing this game when I was a child and I loved the game. Now my children (7 and 5) are also playing this and they can't get enough of it. It is one of those simple game concepts that are classic and ingenious. So what if it is "low tech" - most kids still appreciate a game that lets them test their wits against an opponent one on one.
