Room for the Imagination We like that this that this game combines skill (aiming your Bakugan) with strategy (placement of the cards). We also enjoyed the way the warriors pop open on the magnetic cards -- although sometimes they do it even when they don't land on the cards. Being unfamiliar with the TV show, we felt a little lost at first in the world of Bakugan. But with the help of the colorful, animated Bakugan Web site, we got the gist of what the game is about and how to play. Our attempts to fire the launcher proved somewhat difficult and instructions would have helped. But the launcher isn't necessary. Kids can simply roll the Bakugan like marbles for a fun and action-packed game with their friends.

(It had great potential) 『We have several Tag books, and love them all. So I was quiet eager to get the Oliva book. It's the same book you get from the library.....with no extra games in the back. I was really expecting it to be more, hands on, and ineresting (like the Pirate book or Up). Like the tv show. It had such great potential to teach about art, music, dancing or different emotions. Instead, it asks who made the sand castle and who does Olivia need to be firm with? Plus, my son was highly disappointed that the characters sounded nothing like what was on the show! And when you touch any of the characters, their voices sound more like the Charlie Brown adults than real people. My son actually wants to send the book back for a different one. Glad it's in our collection, but I don't think it will be "read" as frequently as the other books. :(』

I looked at other websites, however, and saw lots of pictures of babies whose skin has turned blue from these blue rings. These people stated they had called Fisher Price on the matter, but that Fisher Price has refused to recall the product. Please do not buy this product for your kids. Fisher Price says the paint is non-toxic, but that doesn't make it okay! Paint- toxic or not is NOT okay to eat. Do NOT buy this toy!!!』

When you first get the game you'll have fun figuring out strategies and efficient thinking methods so that it doesn't take so long to take a move. (I won't ruin the joy of making those discoveries on your own.)
After we played the game for some time (a month or two?) we decided that the Jacks made the luck swing too much one way or the other so we've been playing without them ever since. In the two years that we've played we've had 2 or 3 games go to a draw, which was fun in itself. It is always fun to watch the board in those games where the board fills up and wonder, Is this going to be one of those games that goes all the way to the last card?
What's great about this game is that after you get your thinking system down (perhaps using particular card placement in your hand to help) it requires just the right amount of thought where you can actually eat dinner and play and have a pleasant conversation about your day all at the same time.

This was all that we could find at the local family owned store up the street from our house. We brought it home and pulled it out for everyone to play letting them know it was our first time as well. Within 5 mins we were playing like pros and everyone had a great time with this game. 2 of the couples that came over actually went out and bought this game and invited us over to play it with them. This game can either be played as a free for all or on teams which I thought was really fun seeing as though it was a couples night at our house. We have kids as well and they couldn't wait to play either. This is a good party/family game that is a gem and instant classic!』

After mastering Rummikub, Apples to Apples and Phase 10, we've been looking for a new game to add to our repertoire, and Sequence fits the bill perfectly. (Glorified Night-Light) 『I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 3-year-old niece, and had super high hopes. On Christmas Eve, I tried it out before wrapping it, and it's a good thing I did. Rainbow in My Room is lame! A handful of Christmas tree lights and a mirror would do the same thing, and wouldn't cost $30!
The box makes it look like the rainbow travels across a room. That wouldn't even work in a broom closet. The range is tiny, and it's far from bright. Half the time, when you turn it on, at least one light doesn't work. Rainbow in My Room only stays on 10 minutes with (not-included) battery power, and doesn't come with an AC adapter. Radio Shack had no idea where I could even find one! Again, this thing was $30 -- plus shipping and batteries!
I literally had to buy a substitute present for my niece because this was that much less cool than I had hoped (a Wizards of Waverly Place magic wand, for what its worth, which was the star of the season). I still gave her this gift, but don't expect her to get any enjoyment out of it. I'll edit the score if it turns out she loves it. All girls love rainbows, but this rain-BLOWS.

(fast fun all ages) 『This game is fast fun and any age can play if they can roll the dice. It is good for teaching young children left from right. The provided chips stay with you until you roll an R or a L and then you pass one chip to the left or right player next to you. Roll a C an a chip goes into the center and is out of play. Each of the 3 dice has a C,L, and R and the three other sides each has a dot. A dot rolled means you don't have to pass a chip. Eventually most all the chips end up in the center and the player who alone has any chips left is the winner. The game comes with 24 chips but there is no reason why you couldn't use something else for chips like poker chips or pennies. That way you can have a larger group and everyone starts with a goodly ammount of chips.』
