『My 5-year-old son received this Transformer as a gift, and he was thrilled with it, until it snapped in half near the back of a front fender (after only two weeks of play time). Now the toy is unusable. We are very disappointed, as he loved playing with Bumblebee and Sam. My son has lots of other Transformers, and he does not play roughly with them. It's a shame that this toy didn't last long, given that it is so expensive.』

So when I got this Human Alliance, I was blown away by the accurate detail...WOAH. They really got it right with this one. The design is right down to the tee compared to the movie. I love it! So sam comes with it....LOL, I could do without him (I know Alliance is the point of the toy, but I love Bumblebee so much, even if I take Sam off, he looks and works great! Great detail, Accuracy in the cannon, has a Battle Mask (yay!), and is just cuuuute! ^_~ Go Bumblebee Go!』

(Cute ABC book with catchy tunes)

『ABC Animal Orchestra cardboard book for the Tag Jr.

It features every letter from A-Z, sometimes displaying one letter per page, sometimes two. Each letter is accompanied by a cute animal playing a musical instrument, both the animal and the instrument's name start with the letter in question, which makes it more interesting.

I'm not sure if it was just the one I got, but my book was not bright and as such the colors did not come alive. The printing was way too dark for a child's book. Still, you get over this fact quickly enough with the great sounds that come out from each page.

So, what "interactive" parts does this book have?

- Pressing the Tag Jr. on the letters once says the letter out loud, subsequent pressings prompt the user with questions such as "Which animal's name starts with the letter D?".

- Pressing the Tag Jr. on the animals once produces the sound of the instrument he/she is holding, press again and the device ask with what letter the animal in question's name starts.

- Another activity that I found pretty fun was when you tapped your little Tag Jr. on a Cat, after a few tries the device asks you to find another cat in your book, so you have to go on and find the Jaguar or the Tiger.

- The last two pages have a spread out animal orchestra with the complete alphabet above them. Pressing on the letters plays a cute rendition of the ABC song. Pressing on the animals here has the same effect here as in previous pages with the exception that sometimes they play an instrumental version of the alphabet song, which is nice too.

Overall it's a cute book, but don't expect a story here, it's exactly what it claims to be, an ABC Animal Orchestra book.』

(Fun for all ages)

『When the kids and I play Nerf guns, the darts go flying everywhere, so extra ammo is essential to keep up with everyone. Comes with a handy mesh carrying case with a clip that will attach to your belt loop so your hands are free to aim for your target. The velcro darts tend to stick to the inside of the bag, but that's a minor annoyance for the amount of fun they bring. The name Nerf says it all!』

(Still Fun)

『Uno was a great game when I was a kid and I still have fun when I play this game with my own children. You can make the game last as long as you like and you don't have to keep score which is nice when you are playing with younger children. The recommended age is 7 but I agree with other reviewers who've said that this game can be played with younger children. My children started as young as 3 1/2. It's a great opportunity for family time, practicing color recognition, number recognititon, counting, matching and turning taking. As a mother and prek teacher, I whole-heartedly recommend this game.』

『Bought 2 or 3 of these for grandkids last Christmas. They love it. I love it. The concept is similar to Simon--fast paced&competitive. I'm a little puzzled by the reviewer who says he'd only recommend it for little kids. Granted, it's a not a "cerebral" sort of game; it's just FUN. My grown kids&I couldn't stop playing. And as for the parent whose 4-year-old couldn't play it--the age recommendation is 6 and above. I recommend it highly!!』

『It's a great book, but just be aware that the pen that is used to read the book to you is NOT included. I thought it was, and even when it arrived, it was packaged like the pen could have been inside there, but it wasn't. I had to buy my nephew the pen as well, which was an extra $37, but what the heck, he loves the book!』

Fun, Futuristic Table Top Game
With its sleek, arched design, Hyper Slide looks like a futuristic game. Resembling a hockey game for a table top, the object is to flip the pucks through the goal. However, in these games the goal can be scored from both sides of the arch, and there are four different-colored pucks, called hyper discs. The game's electronic unit calls out a color, and you must pick that color and sent it through the arc. It automatically detects whether you've passed the right disc or not. When not in operation, the hyper discs can be conveniently stored in a compartment on the side of the arch.

Three Games for Solo Play or Two-Person Play
The Hyper Slide offers a few variations of play for your enjoyment. Two lighted buttons on the top of the Hyper Slide make it easy to choose which of the three games you want to play.

While the objects of the games are simple, playing them can be a fun challenge. The first game, "Fast Pass," is all about speed. The game commands a color and you've got to pass it through the goal quickly before the buzzer blasts. With "Add One," you've got to remember the order of colors. You start with a color and add one to the sequence each time you complete a round. "Code Buster" gives you 90 seconds to decipher the secret series of colors.

Best of all, you can play all these games with a friend or by yourself. With both "Fast Pass" and "Add One," you can even play head-to-head with another player or team. For solo play, the rubber "hyper band" is attached under the arch, bouncing the discs back to your side.

Put to the Test
Playing on any smooth, nonmetal surface, you'll be surprised how much fun the Hyper Slide really is. An announcer's voice, high-energy music, and sound effects move these games along. With your head in the game, you'll soon block out all the noise and only hear the color to flick, slide, or shoot through the arch. Unfortunately, if the constant voice directions are not your thing, the game can't be played without these sounds, nor can the volume be adjusted. On the plus side, the Hyper Slide announces your score at the end of each competition and keeps track of the highest score for each game. This electronic system runs on three "AAA" batteries (sold separately). If the Hyper Slide goes unused for two minutes, this smartly designed toy "goes to sleep," saving battery life until the player buttons are pressed.
