This toy is really cool but you can be be bored with it fast. You have to press really hard to see the objects which eliminates some things. It is cool when you see the object magnified but there is only so much you can magnify and then once you do you're done with it.
We have had a riot playing with this toy. Amazing ability to magnify even the smallest things. Would definitely recommend this toy for all kids 6 years and up. Younger can enjoy this toy with the help of a parent. A must for all households.

I had originally intended on getting my 9 year old son a microscope for Christmas last year, but this was new and the hot new toy so I decided to try this instead. I wish I hadn't. Firstly, you plug it into your tv, fine. But that means bringing anything you want to look at to your tv as well, also not a huge deal but something we didn't really consider before purchasing and it can be a hassle if he wants to look at bugs or something. Also you have to be pretty much on whatever you want to see for the lens to even notice it. The slightest distance away and it might as well be invisable. It's made durable enough, but could have been better. My biggest complain would just have to be not being able to see much with it. The most fun we had was touching it to our skin and hair and looking at that magnified, everything else was lame.

This toy is great! My dad bought it for himself and I plan on getting one soon too. I borrowed his, and I was checking everything out, and it made it way to my face, and I was amazed and grossed out at the same time..I put it up to the corner of my eye while I looked the opposite way to the TV and I got to see all the veins on my eye really up close..It was awesome..very fun for both kids and adults.

My granddaughter was born in 2002 on a day not filled with joy (other than her birth)--September 11. Hopefully this little love frog will bring happiness on a day that brings such sad memories. Living beside a pond housing many frogs, I thought this little guy (or girl) would fit the bill. The frog is so very CUTE and my granddaughter LOVES Webkinz! I just know she will be delighted. . . . HAPPINESS on a day of sad memories!
This was purchased as a Birthday gift&my great niece was thrilled!

I bought this Webkinz Love Frog for my 7 year old granddaughter who is collecting Webkinz animals. She had seen it in a store but by the time I got there it was out of stock. Since it is a limited edition webkinz, I was delighted to find it was available on line. She loves the Love Frog! I'm not sure how 'educational' this is, but you can go on the internet to the Webkinz site and enter the individual numbers on the Love Frog to get points and other activities. She's quite a whiz at using the computer (with the help of her Dad, always, to see what she's accessing)!
This big dog is a faithful friend, willing to do what it takes to make sure you have an amazing time in Webkinz World. Not only is the Husky friendly and strong, but this proud pooch is also full of energy. If you love to play, the Husky is the pal youve been looking for. my kids loved this pool- the first year. tried to set this up the following year only to find hole after hole in the air tubing. after the 5th patch I now cannot find the last of the leaks and believe me i tried. the smallest blade of dried grass or fine pebble can wreak havoc on the thin air tube lining during storage. for sure, this pool is a one time use only toy, don't think too far in future with this one. by the way, if the ground is not perfectly level, enjoy the deep end!
The pool is super easy to set up and my kids really like the it. While they may already be 15 and 12 years old, they are excited to cool off in the pool. The younger kids next door have enjoyed it too. Since we live in an area where outdoor pools are only practical for a short time, this is a great alternative and will be easy to store for next year.

My only concern is that if a child is tool small to "step" over the top of the pool, they may fall in.

We bought this pool and had a LOT of fun with it the first year. However, our cat, or neighborhood cats would jump up on the side to get a drink from the dew collected on the cover and they put all kinds of small holes in the inflatalble ring. So many that it was unrepairable. So, if you have cats around....beware.
I live in Phoenix, which has a habit of getting over 110 on a regluar basis in the summer. After having this pool for a few days, the first thing I noticed was that the water quickly became too hot to swim in (mine got to just over 100 degrees). But the next problem was the dealbreaker. With the sun beating down on the pool, the outside of the PVC lining and the floating ring got extremely hot to the touch. After a few days, the seams began to pull apart on the side of the pool that was facing the sun, as if the adhesive used to bond the seams was failing. Eventually, the pool burst open.

So in theory, this pool is a good value. The filter worked well (you can buy replacement filters at walmart or target), and it was easy to set up. The water depth is usually 6-9 inches less than the stated depth of the pool, and the actual diameter is actually a few feet less than the stated diameter (the pool tapers inward toward the top). Just beware of the sun!
I first owned a 12x30 Intex Pool that lasted for 4 years without any leaks or any other issues. After the fourth season the pool started to fall apart. I thought that 4 seasons was outstanding for a $100 pool. Based on this, I purchased another Intex Pool. This time I bought the 15x36 pool. I noticed that the quality was not even close to the first Intex pool I owned. Nonetheless the pool worked great for 1 season. However, I just started to set the pool up today after properly drying and storing for the winter. Upon filling the pool up, it was literally falling apart. I lost count at 12 holes. The material of this pool is very low quality and not designed to be folded without cracking. It is only good for one season. STAY AWAY FROM INTEX unless you only plan on only using it for one season. IT WILL NOT SURVIVE WINTER STORAGE. JUNK! JUNK!JUNK!

(Fantastic set for my 4-year old)

(Five year old son loves it!)

I seriously considered this purchase for my son, who loves Batman but has the patience of a 4-year old. The age range on it says 5+, so I worried that it was too advanced. I was pleasantly surpised to find that he was able to do the majority of the construction, simply by looking at the printed booklet and following step-by-step. Not sure how educational that is, but I enjoyed watching him confidently fit the pieces together. It was fun putting helping him put it together when he couldn't understand the pictures. He really likes the set and he hasn't let either Batman or Mr. Freeze out of sight for the past few days.
It's a fun set, Mr. Freeze's gun is really cool, he has two blue jewels, and the cars don't fall apart too easily. Of course, neither car can survive being chucked against the wall, and I have had to rebuild them a few times. I'd recommend this set-It's fun and the stories my son comes up with are hilarious!
My son absolutely enjoys these lego products. What's cool is that this lego product is batman. Very durable as all legos are. I recommend this to be part of your batman lego collection.
My five year old son thinks that it's the best. It really looks like Mr. Freeze can freeze Batman! He was happy how the project looked after he put it together and never wants to take it apart.

(My 6 year old really l ikes this, but I find it annoying!)

My daughter loves this... She says her baby has a boo-boo and takes care of her...It's a cute toy... When I have to take her to the doctor I'll show what the doctor is going to do to her with this toy... And when she was sick I gace the pony (fake)medicine with the spoon it comes with and then proceeded to give my daughter her medicine.... Overall this is a good toy...
After lots of begging and saving I let my six year old buy one of these several weeks ago. I thought they were ugly and unpleasant, but that is clearly an adult view point - or maybe just mine. It has a hard plastic head and a soft body. My daughter loved it instantly and has kept it together and used it often. She finds it very cute and is more careful of it than many of her other toys

It comes iwth a box of tissues (in reality a couple of bits of cloth in plastic - you can't get them out really, a thermometer, a spoon for medicine and a stethoscope. She looks after her baby which has various speeches to make depending what you touch - so if the bandaid is removed and put back on it says "I have a boo boo" - the heart beat sounds when you touch the chest, and so on.

I find it cloying but my 6 year old loves it. I hope your little girl loves it too!

I bought three of these scooters. Once my nine year old got hers and her sisters tried it out, they wanted their own. It is totally transportable on the train or bus, can be used easily at the skate park and runs very well on the street. This scooter also has the bonus of being adjustable for taller people. My one older daughter is 5 feet 8 inches and the other is 5 feet 7 inches and the little one is 4 feet 10 inches and the scooter is comfortable for all of them. I would buy it again as a gift for anyone.
After scouting around for the best price available, I orderd this scooter for my 13 year old son. He loves it dearly. It is an upgrade to the original scooter. He was able to assemble himself, and the delivery time frame was unbelievable.

Depending on your purposes for using the scooter should factor into with scooter you buy. The pro model scooter has many great reasons for buying it. If you wish to do tricks on a scooter this a good scooter. It is sturdy, lighter than most scooters so you can get enough air for tricks, and very durable. This scooter is a great thing that the whole family can enjoy. The scooter can hold up to 60 more pounds than its predecessors as well as the deck and adjustable head tube being longer. So if you're an adult or college student seeking exercise or a way to get around campus this is top notch. But, if you are a hardcore scooterer who needs a scooter that can endure massive air and bri-flips, fingerwhips, 360s,triple tailwhips etc. than the pro model scooter needs just a few minor adjustments before you are satisfied- bolting the folding mechanism, oiling the scooter for the deck to spin faster,and changing the bearings and grip tape. Purchased this toy for my nephew's 2nd bday he absolutly loves it, it is one of his new favorites. I didn't put it together so I don't know how easy or difficult that was. Very sturdy!!
Today was my Grandson's 2nd birthday. And of all the things he asked for the one thing he repeated over and over again was "basketball". This is a great idea for a young child. WE as Grandparents were kind of tired making a rim out of our arms. Needless to say, he was estatic. It took about 10 minutes to put together, and it seems to be a sturdy item. He being only about 2 1/2 feet tall, it is just perfect for him. His older sister is 6 and it raises to fit her height also. I'm sure they will have hours of fun with this. They both loved it. I can't really rate the durability and longevity yet, but will try to remember to come back here in a couple months and update this post.
I bought this for my 2 year old and my husband. We use this product indoors and am hoping to have it for at least 3 years. The plastic seems sturdy to take everyday beatings.

Playing with this has become a family event. Even visitors can't resist playing. I feel that by buying this, my son can not only stay indoors from the heat, but he practices his coordination and gets physical exercise. After work, my husband and I play with it to relax. This is an overall good toy. Since it only comes with one ball, I've purchased those cheap plastic balls for continuous play. The return is a huge plus.

easy to assemble but be careful putting on the backboard stickers (do it right the first time or it is hard to remove and do over). fun for little kids since the height goes down to 4 feet. sturdy but definitely need to fill the base with water or sand. I hope it lasts a long time in the sun (especially the stickers).
My grandsons really enjoy the basketball hoop. The only problem with it is the base. When assembling the stand column to the base, the column projects beyond the level of the base making the base wobbly and unstable. I had to add two 2x4s underneath on either side of the column to stablilize the base. Once that was done it works well.
