This is our third set of sand and water toys and this one is by far the BEST. It is very durable, has very bright attractive colors and it is great for both sand and water play. We just got this (beg of spring) but I can already see our son going from sand box to the water pool and then to the garden to water plants and back. Right now we are enjoying some of the toys in the sand box and couple in the bath tub. I highly recommend this product. To add variety, you might still need other set with molds and perhaps a smaller bucket, but regardless I think you will be pleased with this set. We are.
My grandson's favorite piece in this set was the little watering can. He used it away from any sand/beach to keep watering my plants year round! (was a great size so that when filled, his little arms could still manipulate it well). Its just as described and I recommend!

Boots is much smaller than I thought! It is the size of a beanie baby!! Its cute and my 2 year old likes it.
Very cute toy. My niece absolutely loves Dora and this stuffed animal completed her collection of dora, the backback, and now boots. The size is small but works perfectly well in a 2 year olds hands.
I did not think i was gonna get a huge toy, but this is small by 3 yr old standards. Truth is I only ordered it to get my original present a plastic pots and pans set over the $25 for super saver shipping. This toy was so small I was able to fit it in the free space of the packaging of the pots and pans. The other reviewers seem to think this is not a problem... which is why i bought it, but do not be fooled open your hand and it could comfortably fit in the space between your index finger and thumb.

I have owned this game for as long as I can remember. I have an old set, so I can't comment on the durability of the new set. However, I have spent many an hour playing this game and it stands the test of time. It's fun, competitive, and teaches a few French phrases. It's easy to learn and fun to play with one or more other players. A winner!
My family and I used to play this game as kids (there were 5 kids) I remember the cards being unique and funny and of course being so young didn't really understand how to play. My older brothers would tell me what to play. I remember how cool it was to have the "Right of Way" or as I remember it, the firetruck card that gave me the right to go without stopping or slowing down and the "driving ace" card that protected me from accidents. I hadn't played this game in 40 years and just remembered it one day and on a whim bought it to play with my own children. As an adult it's a completely different experience. The first game my 11 year old son and I won easily getting the "Right of way" card and "Puncture proof tires" card. Yeah! great fun. The next game my 14 year old daughter and my wife ganged up on us ruthlessly. I didn't any special cards and they got all of them. I couldn't find any Go cards and when I was hit with an out of gas card there were no remedy cards to be found... This is when I realized that this is probably the reason we stopped playing it all those years ago. Too many hurt feelings. Just as soon as I'd find a remedy card my daughter would trounce me with another accident or flat tire or out of gas card. It was more of a relief just to forfeit the game than to subject myself to more punishment.
I recently purchased two Mille Bornes Card Games for the Learning Center where I am employed. (We have Middle School youth after school for about three hours.) I am always looking for activities that are both fun and educational for them and these game have become a big hit! The underlying Math concepts make the game a good mental challenge for them. I had played the game back in the early 70's and it was as fun as I remembered...THANKS!
Lots of fun to play,&you practice your numbers in French while you're at it.
We are loving this game, just as I did 30+ years ago. The cards are now standard playing card instead of what I remember as being oversized cards, and the illustrations are completely charmless. But there are still French translations, and the game itself is still completely enjoyable (I played with my 7 and 10 year old kids and they picked it up right away.)
You're in a cross--country auto rally through France, and it's filled with real--life traffic hazards. You've run out of gas--do you have a Gasoline card' You've got a flat tire--have you got a spare' Use the deck's special cards to overcome hazards and put obstacles in your opponents' path. Stop them with a Red Light, impose a Speed Limit, cause a Breakdown. But watch out--they're trying to do the same to you! Contains: 106 playing cards, illustrated rules and score sheets. Play with 2, 3, 4 or 6 of your friends.
You're cruising along at 100 mph, bolstered by an extra tank of gas, when suddenly your opponent cuts you off with a flat-tire card. You slam to a halt, sidelined until you draw a spare tire. It's a 1,000-mile race along an imaginary road; your goal is to arrive first, avoiding the hazards--flat tires, accidents, empty gas tanks--while inflicting them on your opponents and collecting the spares and repairs that will speed you on. The oddly absorbing Mille Bornes (French for 1,000 milestones and pronounced "meel born") has easy-to-follow rules of the road: green means go; red means stop; obey the speed limit at all times. You might even pick up a few words in French. Nostalgics beware: Anyone who owned an earlier version of the game will miss the acid-green plastic cardholder and the oversize cards. Mille Bornes is for two to six players.

I bought this for my baby girl and she loves to stare at the big eyes as well as the different colors on the body. Has recently started to touch and shake it to make noise and enjoys playing with "Inchy". This is a nice toy to last a while as baby grows and is also fun to measure baby with the ruler on the back.
The "musical" inchworm isn't quite so much musical as it has various noise makers: squeakers, crumply fabrics, rattle, and one song played when the mouth is squeezed. However, my little guy (4 months old) loves this toy! We lay it across his belly or chest and he just tackles and hugs it with his arms and legs and naws on the green knobby legs. He likes the noises and it keeps his attention for a long time!
We played with this toy some. All the different noices and rattles, I guess, are supposed to be educational, I don't see much value in it from educational standpoint. OK, the inchworm parts make different sounds, but why? They all look the same other than the color variation which has nothing to do with the sounds. And the music is cute hence the two stars, but it is only one song and soon becomes boring. Impossible for a baby, even young toddler to turn it on. I eventually tought my son to whack it on the floor hard to turn the music on. Not too good solution. I do NOT recommend this toy, unless you get it given. It does some, but not worth the money to my opinion.
Lamaze products are amazing because they are so cute and colorful. The problem? They all seem to do the same thing. We received this as a gift and while its cute and cuddly its not a favorite. Like another person posted it can nicely be used to prop a child up for tummy time...and could be cute to take pictures of next to. But...we got two inchworms...and the other one we got the pieces actually come apart so you can connect the inchworm together&it sings. And while connecting the pieces is harder for a newborn to do (ok impossible!) it definitely grows with the child! My 2.5 year old is entertained by it and allows the two kids to play together...so...nix this worm and go look for the other one!
My son loves this toy, it doesn't do much, and the "music" is hard to activate (you've got to squeeze the tongue very hard to get it to play), but he squeals whenever he sees it and will spend quite a while playing with it. Gund has a very similar product, but I do think this one is cuter and its significantly bigger, which may be half the appeal to a kid whose only 27 inches long himself.

This is the Best Fire Truck Lego Has made, I loved it so much I ordered a 2nd. Although this is more half fire truck and half utility truck it is still a cool truck. The first truck I have I kept as Lego intended, the second I turned into a non-ladder truck with pieces from other sets, and used the other ladder section for a utility truck. The recue trailer was a cool bonus, the boat looks liek a Navy Seal's Zodiac Raft, Too Bad Lego has discontinued this product It is a nice platform for building all sorts of Fire/Rescue trucks as well as other cool trucks.
My son went through the entire Lego website to pick out which Lego he wanted to purchase with his own money. He is a 6 year old who took a Lego engineering summer camp, where he learned to build all kinds of cool Lego figures. This is the kit he decided upon and let me tell you, he plays with it everyday for hours at a time. He would rather play with Legos than watch tv, which in today's world is fantastic. He not only put together the entire kit himself, but takes it apart and makes new figures out of the pieces. Some of the pieces are rather small, so he has needed my help snapping them together, but overall he is able to read the directions and put the pieces together independently. He is constantly showing me something new he has built. What a great use of imagination and creativity! He is already looking forward to buying his next kit.
I just got this for my 5th birthday and I love it! I put this set together mostly by myself and the directions are easy to follow with mommy and daddy's help. I like that it doesn't fall apart unless I want to take it apart. I like that this set comes with three things to build. The ladder is easy to snap back on if it comes off. I love all my Lego sets and recommend Legos! - Ian, 5.

Mommy's note: highly recommend Legos to help teach your child the importance of following directions (step-by step instruction manual) and helps to increase fine motor skills (fairly easy snap together construction). And a fun time to spend together as a family!
If you read my reviews about the Lego products, you will see that I repeated my self on all of them, and that is because these people never fail to amaze me with new product lines. City line is for youngsters ( I bought it to a 7 y/o). He is having fun with it, and I think I won't be having trouble finding a gift for any coming occasions. People please believe me when I tell you, that I played with legos when I was young, and now my both boys are playing with their products too... Do Not Buy Another Building Products Other Than LEGO.
This Fire Truck really, really, really looks like a fire truck! The front of it is probably the coolest part, if you take it off and give it to someone they'll know it belongs on a fire truck. It has two firemen, fire tools, a shiny silver helmet (Only available in this set) and it is very durable. There are lots of very useful parts on this fire truck too so if you ever decide to take it apart, you'll have lots of cool new parts.
There's a fire in LEGO City but never fear, because the fire truck is on its way! The brave firefighters use all their gear to battle the flames and save the day. Raise and lower the ladder to fight the fire! Includes 3 firefighters. Ages 5+. 214 pieces

Good quality, decent sound and a great price. If you're looking for something to have on the beach of maybe your backyard, this is the right one.
I am a mobile in-home therapist working with small children and this is a perfect addition to my equipment. I don't worry about small, curious, quick and mighty hands destroying it, has great sound and volume for my needs and the storage for the mp3 is such good planning. I'm sorry that there isn't more generalizing of docking ports, etc. among the electronics brands, but I knew what I was getting into, and with the auxilary inputs available I can make it work just fine for me. Good job!
For the money it is fun but not great. There is another model, according to manufaturer that will work with the new iPhone but this model only works with an older iPod and I am not sure if it will work with the iPod Touch.
the ihome2go is a great little mp3 speaker case. its perfect for hotels (MUCH better fidelity than the clock radios), beach, park, etc. it actually has great sound and volume for such a compact device and keeps your ipod well protected from all the outside elements. you can control the basic functions of the ipod from the outside and there is a line in jack for all the other mp3 players too.
This product is TOP NOTCH!!! I got it on Amazon for [...] bucks thinking the quality would be so so...boy was I surprised! The packaging was excellent, the controls are SUPER easy and the sound is a 10 out of 10. I was shocked at how great it sounds. And it is water resistant! WOW...If I had to price this I would easy say it is a quality product worth well over 65$. My only issue is it didn't come with a electrical cord to plug into a socket, bascially it only works with batteries(unless you pay extra for the cable).If your searching for a small Ipod boombox(about the size of a hightop shoe) your search should stop here...mine did. I use it by my pool and can hear it clear as day from 30 feet away. I have already bought 3 of them since for family and friends and they LOVE them. My daugter loves using these, she brought them to school and they were a instant hit! The sharpiner means that no more peeling of the paper. The class loves to see all the colors at their fingertips.
I remember when I was kid, I absolutely loved my box of 64 color crayolas. Maize was my personal favorite, not a great color but an interesting name. With 150 colors this set will help your child grow in their artistic pursuits. I'm not an artist myself, but it seems that the availablity of so many colors would help your child discern between slight color variations and use this to thier advantage in their art.
i love the crayola 150 count telescoping crayon tower for many reasons it's easy to store and to put away i love the crayon colors and names i like that it comes with glitter crayons the only downfall on crayola is that they are retiring crayons that i have always loved when i was little but i think this crayon tower is worth your money and i think should be for ages 8+
My daughter got this as a birthday gift from her cousin. My first thought was that it was excessive. Now, a few weeks later, I think it's fantastic. Over 100 regular crayons, around 20 metallic and about the same of glitters. They store away in their own caddy and because it looks so neat she's actually interested in keeping all the crayons where they belong at the end of our coloring sessions.
If you have duplicate colors, call Crayola. The number is on the bottom of the cardboard box. They're going to need the batch number that was imprinted on the bottom of the box (near the phone number). There definitely should not be duplicates.

I would give this 5 stars but I have only had it one month so hard to say if it holds up in the long run. So far I find it well constructed and doing the trick.
The Lock is VERY sturdy both in design and material.
The thick cable gives extra-assurance your bike is safe.
Of the 6 keys provided, one has an LED light attached.
The attaching bracket is functional but could be better in both instruction and design.

Overall: The Lock is excellent for any medium to low scale bikes. For better protection I would recommend Kryptonite New York Fagettaboutit U lock. A definite must buy for the price.
This is my first bike lock for my Diamond Back Response Sport 08. The reason I got it is because I usually ride my bike to the lake and like to jog also so I have to leave it locked some how. So I saw the nice price and got it. The U lock is heavy, the piece you attach to the hold the lock to your bike in place is really poor its basically a strap that you tighten to your frame and and a clip that holds the u lock in place while riding. The strap/clip item failed. It doesnt lock in place and the u lock falls out BUT thankfully I found a better way to attach it to the bike just by locking it to the frame and using the cable from one end of the bike to the other. This is my first lock, so as far as the holder it all really depends on your frame of bike so larger the frame the easier it is to fit/attach the strap to it, but the clip part is weak is made out of plastic.
During the first ride I had with this new lock attached, it flew off after I hit a bump. I had it mounted horizontally on my top bar. It was dragging underneath my bike, and thankfully there were no cars coming. Most of the rubber got scraped off a section the u-bar and sections of the cable, and the lock rattles now. I have since moved it to my seat post, which allows it to be mounted vertically. In other words, the bracket is total junk. As far as the lock goes ...we'll see. I still have my bike, so far.
This lock is being returned to Amazon. I'm surprised by the cheap quality of the accessories that go with this lock.

Problem 1: The keys are made of plastic and painted silver to look like metal. Plastic breaks, which is why some people are having problems with the keys breaking off in the locks.

Problem 2: The key light lit for 3 seconds then went off permanently.

Problem 3: The attachment to hold the lock to the bike is large, ugly, and poorly made. There is no ring of metal or plastic with a rubber inside that is used to attach most accessories. Instead, this is a large piece of plastic and a thin nylon strap that you tighten to the bike. Unfortunately, it flops around while riding. Also the attachment to the lock itself is cheap plastic that can easily come undone going over bumps.

Overall, I'm taken back by the cheap, inferior quality of the keys and bike attachment. The lock would definitely need to be carried inside a bike bag, and a person would need to be careful not to break the keys, especially as the plastic stresses over time. The lock itself might be secure, but the overall quality of the package I received was surprisingly bad.

Edit: After looking at other inexpensive locks from companies such as Kryptonite, I've noticed that these sorts of problems are actually pretty common. The solution I used was to get a much more expensive Kryptonite lock.

I purchased these games for my grandson. He said they were fun and he was learning alot. He's 5 and only received the games on 2/26 for his birthday. Sorry I have no more feedback than that.
My six year old twins (boy and girl) each got their own Leapster this year for Christmas and of course you then have to purchase the cartridges. They like Spongebob and generally he gets on my nerves after a while because there isn't much educational content to the shows. Well, the Leapster game is actually an exception. The kids LOVE it and it teaches them as well. Overall, a good thing for all involved!
You can never have enough Spongebob! That's how my kids see it. I have yet to meet a leapster game I didn't like. It's Spongebob, and leapster the perfect combination for kids. Don't get me wrong, I hate Spongebob as much as any parent, but the game's not for me now is it?
I just purchased this game for my four-year old daughter. I am an elementary school teacher, and I think the game is fairly challenging. The screens are pretty monotanous and overall, my daughter finds the game boring. The other Sponge Bob game for Leapster is better.

This is of such low quality and design you would think it came from a dollar store. At any hose volume the water will not properly spray onto the runway. The runway ripped in 2 places within 20 minutes. It is the lightest weight plastic possible, a ziploc bag is more resilient than the material used for this toy. A tremendous waste of money and time. What is most frustrating is the disappointment of my sons who were so eager to enjoy this toy.
I am not sure why they chose to put such poor plugs in the "weights" for the shark. The first time we used it, the bags kept unplugging, thus letting out all the water and air. The shark won't stand up without it, and it is a real pain to put more water in. After 4 times, I gave up. And the kids don't really have fun while their toy is being fixed every two minutes. Would NOT recommend - ESPECIALLY since I did not buy it at a discount.
My 5 year old son has been begging for this ever since he saw the commercial on TV. I read all the negative reviews, and even discussed the reported "poor durability" of this product with him, but he was "willing to take the risk" so we decided to give it a try as a treat to bring to Father's day BBQ with the cousins. What a hit! No problems whatsoever and three kids (4, 5 and 7) played with it for hours. Set-up was very easy with a foot pump, the seams were all intact (no leaks of any kind), and the 3-D effect of the shark's mouth was clear to everyone who wore the goggles. Maybe there is some hit-or-miss quality control with the manufacturing of this product, but ours was fine and the kids loved it.
I have 2 small children (2 and 3) and they have wanted this product since the first time they saw the commercial. Dad surprised them with it the other afternoon, and as soon as we hooked the hose up to it, the main seem split open. we had to put the sprinkler up next to the slide part so that it would stay wet enough for them to truly use it, I took it back the next morning and exchanged it for a new one. I set up the new one and one of the retainer walls for the "pool" area had a hole in and would not hold water. I took it back AGAIN and got a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! very poorly made!!
My kids begged us for this product so finally my husband surprised them one afternoon. They were so excited they jumped up and down and screamed for joy. I wish I had read the reviews first. My kids are little, 5 and 7 and under 55 pounds. Within 10 minutes 2 huge seems split wide open and the slide was no longer usable. I set the slide up on very nice grass with no rocks or sticks anywhere, so I know we didn't do anything wrong. If a product can't hold up to my 2 string beans, it obviously was made very poorly. Now I have a couple of very disappointed sad kids.
