He is also an avid Star Wars fan, so I thought this would be a fun way to help him with his basic reading skills. Well, this was the perfect choice because from the moment he opened it, he spentp practically every minute during the remainder of my visit using his Leapster with this game device. I spent some time doing it with him and was happy to see that it did, indeed, help him with his basic reading. All the while, making it FUN! Then his 8 year old sister wanted to play with it, too, so my worries that he would outgrow it too soon were quickly dispelled.』
(The BEST educational game I have bought my son) 『My son is 6 years old, first grade and has a slight learning disability so we work extra hard on his sight words and sounding out letters, he doesn't have a whole lot of patience for it. However he loves star wars and he loves nintendo ds. On a whim I decided to buy the leapster and this game for it - hoping that he wouldn't call it a "learning game" and immediately dismiss it. Wowee did I luck out - he loves this game, can't play it enough.
The first day he had the game he was frustrated because he didn't know all the words and was running to me asking for help often. I encouraged him to try sounding out the letters and see how he could do. The second day I heard him sounding things out and trying to figure it out on his own. By day three he had mastered the game and was a general - oh was he exited - and mommy even more so - he is consistently reading three and four letter words from the game.
Thank you so much leapster - well worth the money spent.』
(Leapster Star Wars) 『I got this for my 4 year old. It's a little advanced for him but it is giving him something to work toward and he likes it since it's Star Wars.』 『

She was already used to the music by the time she was born, so it's been a favorite of hers from the beginning. We don't travel without it, because it helps soothe her so she can go to sleep by herself. The music is beautiful, the ocean sounds are calming, and it's so cute! I just wish I had known that it also comes in pink before I bought it.』
(cute but my daughter didn't love it.) 『We had the seahorse for about 6 months, from the time my daughter was 5 months till 11 months, when I sold it to a consignment shop. It was very cute and she would smile when first seeing it, but for whatever reason this toy never struck a chord with my daughter the way other reviewers have noted. If definitely never helped soothe her to sleep, either, but my daughter has hated going to sleep from day one. She simply never interacted with it, or became excited over it the way she does some of her stuffed animals, like her Blabla knitted cat, for instance. Maybe the difference is weight, this seahorse is pretty heavy compared to other infant plush toys.』
(Happy Baby!) 『I got this for a friend's baby girl on her 1st birthday. She loved it and learned the button pushing very easily. Great for this age since it isn't too complicated to push a huge belly. She drags it around by its tail so it is super durable. Great product! 』
(perfect) 『My son is 14 months and has been using this since birth. We turn it on every night when we put him in his crib and also every nap. He knows that when it goes on, it is time to sleep. It creates a soft glow which gives a baby something to look at, and the music is relatively quiet and soothing. The music also doesn't last very long, but that is a good thing...just lasts long enough for him to fall asleep. I've had it over a year, and have only changed the batteries 3 times. This is a must-have for every baby.』
(Great for helping baby fall asleep on his own) 『I bought this to help by baby fall asleep by himself, when he was about 5 months old. He is very interested in it as soon as I turn it on and he'll cuddle with it and look at the lights. The music is very soothing and there are two volume setting you can choose. Now he is almost 6 months old and it really helped him learn fall asleep by himeself. I usually turn it on, put in his arm, then leave the room. The music stopps after 5 minutes and my baby usually fall asleep either already or shortly after.
Highly recommended!』 『Sometimes baby needs a little help falling asleep. With a gentle squeeze, this cuddly friend glows and plays soft music, lullabies and soothing sounds of the ocean. After five minutes the music fades, lights dim and baby drifts to sleep. Includes eight lullabies and power/volume control for quiet play. Requires three "AA" batteries, included.』

She even used the spoon to "feed" her doll some "applesauce". The music is quiet and pleasant. Her five year old brother even enjoyed playing tea with her. Overall, the product seems safe and sturdy.』
(Cute, Loveable toy) 『I ordered this tea set for my good friend's daughter because it was so cute and because I trust Fisher and Price toys. She absolutely loves it and plays with it a lot. It was a huge hit!!!』
(Love it!!!) 『My mother bought this for my nieces, and I for my daughter years later. It has been a mainstay in my house for two years. My daughter loves it!! Highly recommended for any little princess. I do beleive that this particular tea set may become a classic.』
(Highly recommend this tea set!) 『This is the perfect tea set for hours of pretend play! The "musical" tea pot is especially good because it's not so loud and obnoxious to listen to during play. The cups are a great size because little hands can easily hold them, and the color and design of the set is very "girlie"! The bonus is that it all sits in a tray keeping everything together and easy to carry.』
(Great first tea set) 『My daughter is one. She loves this tea set. It has a lot of pieces to keep track of so we have to watch her really closely when she plays with it. I like because it has "dishes" for 4 people (rather than 2). Its the perfect size for her and the colors are really cheerful and bright. She has been rough with it and it has stood up well so far. It is really cute. People always ask me where I got it. The tea pot musical noises aren't very pretty- its kind of an obnoxious noise.』 『This teapot over for magic pouring sounds, or presses the lid to hear a tea time tune. Set includes four cups, saucers and spoons, plus a creamer and sugar bowl with lid, and a tray for serving treats. It requires two replaceable button-cell alkaline batteries, which are included』 『Every child should have a tea set somewhere in the toy box, not just for feeding favorite dollies and teddies, but also for practicing tea-party manners before a special party or dinner. This molded plastic set is made with the thoughtful design and extra-durable materials of most Fisher-Price toys, with the added bonus of a jolly musical teapot. It plays "I'm a Little Teapot" when the top of the lid is pressed, and also provides a "magical" chiming noise when the pot is poured (requires two button-cell batteries; included). The set includes four teacups in pastel shades, matching saucers, a sugar bowl, a creamer, and four white spoons. (tons of fun, but easy to break about 17 different ways) 『all 4 of my kids, from ages 2 to 10, absolutely loved this thing. then the very flimsy base broke, and there was no way to fix it - either the fix just broke again immediately, or if you fixed it really well, the angle of trajectory was no longer adjsutable. so they just held the launch tube in their hands while stomping, which worked fine for a while, but then the stupid screw that held it onto the base ripped through the thin plastic of the tube, and there was air leaking out. then the thin, brittle plastic of the hollow rockets got smashed, one by one. basically, it worked beautifully for a couple of months, and we extended its useful life by several more months with lots of duct tape and jury-rigging, but it just went in the trash last weekend. and my two-year-old is now wandering forlornly through the backyard with a sorry-looking rocket in one hand, searching for it. i'm browsing for a similar product now that's sturdier... but i may wind up just buying exactly this again and plan on replacing it every 6-12 months. at $[...], not such a big deal. and they did learn about the awesomeness of duct tape, so, hey, educational bonus.』
(Kids LOVE these rockets!) 『My children and their cousins recieved stomp rockets as gifts from the grandparents. The kids (and adults) love these rockets! It's a great gift for any age from 4 to 11. Over the years, the children spent hours and entire afternoons launching rockets in the front yard, having contests, shooting them over the roof and into trees. They were so much fun we purchased several sets and have given them over the years as gifts -- always with the same reaction. (And many recipients turned around to purchase more for favorite kids in their lives).
Kids LOVE these rockets. They are safe, soft, super easy to use and take off with a burst going up to 30 feet in the air.
The sets are suprisingly durable and for all the use we've had (literally hundreds of hours), we've only experienced one breakage and that was after 5 years of use and with a guest known for breaking things. The laucher tipped over and the child stomped on the housing breaking the frame. The biggest problem we ever had was the adults (especially the dads) monopolizing the fun. It's irresistable, stomp! whosh! and watch the rocket fly high!
You do have to adjust the blue tubing to get the kinks out or the rocket will not launch well.
You don't need the extra rockets unless you really enjoy hearing screams of glee from your children as they launch these rockets over roofs and into trees. In that case, some rockets are bound to get stuck and if you have an extra supply, you can keep going until the others fall down or blow off the roof. Of course, there's always the open space and these things can be shot without aiming them for a roof.』
(Great Entertainment for a 4 yr old) 『My 4 yr old grandson spent hours playing with his rockets. It was a hit at our family reunion and even his 16 yr old cousin joined in the fun. It seems very durable and stood up to almost constant jumping on the "launch pad"』
(Fun toy!) 『My son received these rockets for his 4th birthday. He is able to operate them by himself and his 6 year old sister enjoys them also. This toy is easily assembled and disassembled to store in a small space.』 『So easy to use even very small kids can set up the rockets, jump, stomp, and launch rockets on their own. Kids easily give this kids rocket power, and they will be grinning ear to ear about the distance they made it fly. The perfect indoor or outdoor toy. Includes 4 safe, foam rockets, launch pad, hose, stand. Ages 3+』 『Kids can get rid of some excess energy with this air-powered outdoor rocket toy. No battery or fuel is needed to get the rockets airborne--just some old-fashioned stomping power. Set up the simple launch stand in a clear outdoor area, connect the 38-inch-long vinyl air hose and blast pad, load one of the 9-inch yellow foam rockets--and watch out. Our 5-year-old assistant reviewer really got a kick out of jumping on the purple blast-off pad and watching her rockets soar 50 feet or more, though she had to fight the adults for a turn. If the three rockets included with the kit aren't enough fun, you can order stomp parachutes and spin copters from the manufacturer.--Marianne Painter』

(All ages) 『When I was a Speech Therapist, I created cards for our therapy session and after the child responded correctly, they would pick a color card and move their piece. I had 6th graders who enjoyed the game as much as the kindergarten kids. Because anyone can win, it's an opportunity to teach and practice good game skills. Enjoy!』
(Still Classic) 『I have fond memories of playing Candyland when I was young. Many hours with my parents and older sister, but it had been a long time since I played it.
I picked this up to play with my daughter and it is just as I remembered it, at least the fun part. Some of the details are a bit hazy so I do not recall the board exactly, and the new board did not really bother me much because I look at it more for the fun.
We are enjoying it together and though it is basic in terms of strategy and the fact it is chance based, it does not detract from the enjoyment and sometimes one or the other wins. It shows the basic concept of taking turns, some skills on colors/matching and overall a good first step game.』
(Just Isn't the Same) 『This game was something I was anxious for my little cousin to experience since I had such fond memories of playing it as a child. When it was purchased however I was extremely shocked and disappointed by the changes. The gingerbread men had wider bottoms that overlap the board pieces, and the graphics were horrible. My favorite characters like Jolly and Grandma Nut were completely unrecognizable, and Plumpy was nowhere to be found. Plus there was a beaver, where'd he come from? My cousin enjoyed the game but I felt bummed. The nostalgia is just not there with this version. Why are they ruining all the great games with their ugly changes? Maybe it's just me and I focus too much on the looks of things, but the new version just didn't cut it for me.
I suggest buying the retro version from Wal-Mart or an old game board online. My cousin enjoys the older version so much that we rarely use the newer designed board.』
(Fun 1st board game for your little ones.) 『Easy to understand for your young children. Perfect for both boys and girls. Helps with counting and interactive skills.』 『This is the classic "child's first game", and preschoolers will love it. Children draw colored cards, and move their plastic gingerbread playing tokens to the next square of the same color. Passing the peppermint forest and the ice cream sea on the way, the first one to reach the candy castle wins. No need to read to play this game.2 to 4 players can play this game. This board game includes a game board, four plastic playing pieces, 64 cards, "Legend of the Lost Candy Castle", and instructions in English and Spanish.』 『"Once upon a time, King Kandy, the Imperial Head Bonbon and Grand Jujube of Candy Land disappeared." Thus begins the magical journey of Milton Bradley's classic Candy Land board game. Captivated by the story of a kidnapped king and eager to help find him, little ones move their gingerbread pawns along a rainbow path and through a land of candy characters, all subjects of King Kandy's realm.
Playing cards thoughtfully designed for non-readers are coded with colorful squares matching the jeweled stepping-stone path or an occasional token matching one of the characters' symbols: draw a blue card, move to the nearest blue stepping-stone; draw a snowflake and earn a visit to Queen Frostine's iceberg. There are occasional pitfalls, too: land on the wrong square and you might be stuck in Molasses Swamp until a red card is drawn. With all these enticing, sugarcoated images (and King Kandy plainly visible at path's end), children can't help but be delighted by Candy Land. It's delicious! Instructions are in both Spanish and English. Candy Land is for two to four players)--Julie Ubben』

It is funny and sweet -- not a bit scary. Both my son and my six-year-old daughter enjoy it. I would definitely purchase it again.
That being said, it has less of the 'magic' that the Ben 10 and the pirate tag books have. There are fewer pictures to click on, and therefore it is less interactive.』
(Grandchildren Resources) 『A relatively new device, embraced by my (grandchildren) 4 year old twins. It is a parallel to their LeapFrog toys. A definite vocabulary and skill builder.』
(for my grandson) 『I ORDERED THIS FOR MY 4 YEAR OLD GRANDSON AND HE SEEMS TO LIKE IT. I A HOPING THEY WILL CONTINUE TO USE THE PEN AND NOT JUST READ THE BOOKS, WHICH HE ALSO LOVES.

(Lots of Fun) 『I bought this game on a whim - the name amused me, and the premise of the game sounded fun. And was I right! I've played it several times with different friends, and everyone so far has enjoyed it. It's like trivial pursuit, only not nearly as difficult. My one complaint is that it's a very short game. Most games lasted 15-20 minutes (with a group of 5, it would probably last longer with more people - but definitely a great multi-person game!) The longest game might have lasted 30 minutes or so, but average is quite a bit shorter. We found the "hard" questions to generally be much easier than the general questions.』
(Fun, Fun, Fun Game!) 『I had never heard of this game until my sister bought it for her family. I bought one for my family and we use it a lot. In addition to being fun, it is educational. Funny thing is, we invited Canadian neighbors to our house to play the game and they won! Even though many questions are US related, equally as many are historical or world geography. Great fun, which I would recommend for most any age.』
(Great party game) 『I've played this game with my Sunday gaming group and even at a few board game conventions. It always draws a crowd. It doesn't take as long to play as Trivial Pursuit and you don't have to be a member of Mensa to play it. Be prepared to have your ego shattered when you shout out what you think is the right answer, only to hear you're wrong and can't play for the rest of that round. A great party game.』
(Rip-off of Clever Endeavor?) 『This game appears to be a slightly-re-done rip-off of the game Clever Endeavor.
My family got Clever Endeavor back in the early '90s. Each card had a person's name and hometown on it, I assume meaning that a different person wrote each card. Which was cool and all, but many of the cards were just too outdated or geared to an older audience (like Stage II or old Trivia), so it is good to see that there's a new version!

(Disappointment!) 『We tried one before and that is the reason for the purchase, but the one I purchased does not seem to work as well on many surfaces and even on smooth surfaces.....so disappointed for my grandson!』
(After 2 years, this still gets played with EVERY day) 『We love love love our plasma cars! I paid a lot more than they sell for now, but I certainly don't regret it. Very few toys stick around our house for too long because the kids outgrow them, get bored with them, or they fall apart. But I anticipate having our plasma cars for many more years before any of those things happen. So far, we've had them for almost 2 years. My children are now almost 4 and 8 years old and use their cars daily. We have laminate wood floor that are very smooth and they cars work perfectly on those floors. In our kitchen where the floor is vinyl, the car is a bit sluggish. We took the car to the park once and it did okay on the sidewalks, but it wasn't good enough to bother ever taking it again. If you have very smooth floors, this is an awesome toy. Otherwise, you should just pass on this one because it just doesn't work well on anything but really smooth surfaces.』
(so much fun) 『This is a great toy for kids young and old. My 2 1/2 year old son loves it, as does my 12 year old daughter. Even adults can ride it, provided they're not too tall. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great Product) 『I bought this for my two year old to keep all his Tag Junior items in. It is perfect. He is able to open and close it by himself and the books and reader fit perfectly. The other reviewer mentioned that the reader was hard to put in the case, but if you flip it upside down, the fit is perfect. The case would easily hold 5+ books which is all we'd have out at once anyway. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who purchases the Tag Junior.』
(Must have to keep it all together!) 『This storage case is a must have to keep the Tag Junior and books together. The description says that it holds 4 books, but we have 4 in the case with plenty of room left over. I would say that it would easily hold 5 or 6 - which is really fine becase you can only have 5 books downloaded on the Tag Junior at one time anyway.
The way the dual zipper is set up makes it easy for toddlers and pre-schoolers to open and close it themselves. The Tag Junior unit itself fits very snugly in the case - it requires some effort - it just doesn't slide in (and therefore won't just slide out when the case is unzipped).』 『Tag Junior Storage Case』
