(Amazing bike!)
(Grandson's Bike)
(Cute Bike!) the trike is so sturdy and has all the bells&whistles. our baby will use it for a long time. I bought two bikes for my 2 year old twin grandchildren They can't peddle yet,but they can still use them with their feet on the ground. Their 4 year old brother loves this bike. He uses the one and the girls share the other. What is great about this bike is that it doesn't tip over like a taller bike would. It is a very strong and sturdy bike. This bike is wonderful! It is really easy to put together, is packaged fantastically (each piece individually wrapped to ensure no scratches, dents, or dings during shipping), super easy to put together, and the design is great. I really love that the base is wider than most bikes for more stability and that the seat sits lower than other bikes. We got the pink and it is absolutely adorable. It was a little more than I wanted to spend on a bike, but after receiving it and seeing the quality first hand, I do not regret this purchase one bit. If our next child is a boy, I will not hesitate to purchase another bike in a "boy color". If you are even considering this bike, just buy it! You will not be diasappointed! I purchased this for my 2 year old grandson. He is still working on learning how to pedal but he still feels like a "big boy" on his new fancy trike. We bought this bike for our daughter's 2nd birthday. This bike is adorable and she loves it, especially the bell! Your child will enjoy a classy ride with the red Roadster, Schwinn's retro-modern take on the classic tricycle. It features a full-steel, heavy-duty frame, scalloped chrome fenders for flare, and a real wood back deck for an added passenger. It has wide design for an extra-low center gravity, helping to prevent tip overs. The sculpted seat is adjustable for growing riders. The cool "moustache-style" chrom handlebar features padded grips, long tassels, and a bell. The front wheel measures 12 inches in diameter and the back wheels measure 8 inches in diameter.About Schwinn Founded in 1895, Schwinn is an American icon that has been synonymous with quality and innovation. (Perfect Fun for Princess)
(Great for shopping trips)
(Great little car!)
(For Short Outtings) I purchased this as a first birthday present. The baby loves to go riding in it. It's easy to manuaver. I wish there was a key attached to the ignition switch rather than just a sticker. The baby likes to reach for the sticker. Overall I am very happy with the buggy and so is the little one. Our daughter never tires of being pushed in her pink cruiser. Whether in the house or on the road the rider is pretty smooth. The seat belt is secure enough to keep her in the car even if she tries to stand. Great value for $$$ spent. We bought the Push Around Buggy for our grandson. He thought it was great to be able to ride in it instead of a stroller when shopping. We found that he was much easier to manage because he thought it was a treat to ride in his car in the shopping centers. He loved his Push Around Buggy so much that we bought the pink one for our niece. She loves hers just as much as our grandson. This is not only great for outdoor activities but indoor as well. Compartment in the front is great for holding a few necessary items on outings with baby. Very durable. our daughters van was totaled with Push Buggy in back, Push Buggy was more durable in the wreck than the van. Not a mark on the Push Buggy. Highly recommended I purchased the pink car for my daughter&the red one for her twin brother 1.5 years ago&we're still using them!
Is this toy educational? NO, but quality family time together while taking a walk is fun for all of us.
The tires are loud! We don't have sidewalks in our neighborhood&the roads are a little beat up from the Chicagoland winters so it makes for some loud cruise'n. I think they make the cars with rubber tires now&if I knew my kids would still be using these toys I would have spent the extra money on the better wheels.
Great toy&I'm glad I bought them. This toy is really nice and great for short time-span outings. It has a front trunk, where I store my daughter's pacifier, bottles, diapers, wipes, and snacks, instead of carrying a diaper bag. The only problem is, unlike a stroller, it isn't conducive if your baby or child falls asleep, as you may end up having to carry them after-all. [...] When it's time to go outside for a bit of fresh air and exercise, the Push Around Buggy from Step2 is ready to roll. Just slip baby in the generous molded seat, hook up the seat belt, grab the handle, and go! While you actually steer, baby can pretend to drive (and can even start the fun with a nifty ignition key). When there's an obstacle in the way or a friend passing by, baby can honk the horn. The buggy rolls smoothly and surely on four oversize poly wheels. A small trunk in the front can hold a few travel items. Both durable and fun, this sweet pink and purple Push Around Buggy is a winner. The extra-long handle is removable and can be stored underneath the buggy.--N. Mered Give toddlers their first driving lesson with the pink and purple friendly-faced Push-Around Buggy. Adults control the buggy with a convenient back handle, while little drivers sit back and work on their steering. A pretend click-start ignition key and a realistic steering wheel with a honking horn makes tots feel like they are really driving. There's even a storage compartment under the hood for stowing away secret goodies. Help children practice safety by buckling them up in the kid-size seat belt. A removable carry handle makes moving and storing this car a cinch. Requires some adult assembly. Measures approximately 34.50" x 43.50" x 18.50". Rerations < Push Around Buggy (Pink) >

customer 's review (Love my Mater!!!)
(Cool Cars)
(Hot Wheels, they're not!)
(Great for Cars Fanatics!!)
(Great Product!) I had been looking for six months for a Mater to finish my 12 yr. old daughter's collection of "Cars" action figure vehicles. I was desperate when I started looking online. I ordered Mater and then hoped it would be on time! It came just in time, considering I ordered it last minute! My daughter was so excited!!! It was the highlight of her Christmas! I bought these for my 5 year old son who is a huge Car's fan. He was using matchbox cars and pretending that they were Lightening McQueen and friends, but when he recieved the set of these he was so excited. These cars are larger than matchbox cars, and are heavy for their size, good quality!! Great for the Car's fan in your life. Good as collectables, not so good as actual toys that you play with.
My daugter has broken the hook off of Mater (bought her a new one), broken the wheel off of Dynaco McQueen, and broken the front axle off of the tractor. Mater's tow equipment is made with a softer cheaper plastic than the rest of the toy, and I expect the new one to break any day now.
Without being too sexist, I want to point out that my 4 year old daughter is probably more gentle on them than the average boy playing with them. They have never entered a sandbox. They have not been stood on, nor thrown, nor been monster-trucked by a bicycle.
While I will still probably buy more, as my daughter loves the Cars movie and wants to own them all, (including Frank, which they do not make) I would say to all: buyer beware! My 2 year old boy just loved the movie Cars, and he also loves Hot Wheels, and when I saw these I knew he had to have them!! They're not actually hot wheels, but about the same size. He adores them, and plays with them every day. I would love to get him all of the cars in the set. He is also very rough with his toys, and they are in great shape. My 4yr old son loves it! Thats all that matters to me! Thank you. It's fun to collect these 1:55-scale, die-cast action-sized vehicles! Rerations < Pixar Cars: Mater >

(Great game. Could have better quality game pieces...)
(Fun Game!)
(Fun&Challenging)
(Your vacabulary will climb Upwords!)     I tried finding Upwords in retail stores but could not. I am so happy to have found it online. I am playing with my granddaughter to keep her mind challenged during her summer vacation. This is a great game for everyone. Especially good for younger people since they can spell "shorter" words and still win the game. Great positive reinforcement for spelling and reading. I do like the original game better- the tiles are bigger. I think the newer version is not as well made and I don't like the smaller tiles. And where is the bag for the letters?? I bought a newer version because I wanted to leave a game at my mountain cabin where we have no TV and play games at night. I'm going to look for a version of the game where the game pieces are larger and better made. The game is still worth buying and playing with kids and adults. We've been playing this game for over 20 years and never play Scrabble anymore since we play Upwords all the time. My family loves the game and we highly recommend it! This is a fun game that I remember from my own childhood. I got it for my own kids and I play it a lot with them. Fun game and a great "thinking" game. Amazon is referring to this game as a "toy," but it is a "toy" for children, as well as adults. I bought Upwords for myself and I am 46 yrs old. I play it with adults. And it is challenging and fun. It is a different spin on Scrabble. Anyone who likes word games, such as Scrabble, will like Upwords. [Another game, from the 1960's, that is no longer on the market,"Scribbage," is another one that word game lovers would enjoy in their collection.}
The older version of the game was better in regard to color and maybe piece size (I don't quite remember). The new one has red letter pieces. I got used to it, but still prefer the old, white (or off-white?) pieces. The manufacturer did the same thing with Rummikub, reducing the quality of the tiles.
My durability rating is based on the potential to lose letter tiles. As far as "breakage" goes, it doesn't have anything to break (unless the tile board is stomped on).
Anyway, it is a great game and I'd recommend it. This game is much more fun than Scrabble! My kids (13 and 9) were thrilled to find the gift under our Christmas tree this year. They usually only get to play this game at their Nana's, but now they can play it whenever they want. The best challenge was trying to make another word from the already existing ones. Enjoy this challenging, mind expanding game with kids of all ages! Even my four year old can change dog to hog! Have fun! Up Words is the 3-dimensional word game that's a stack of fun. Now the expanded 10 X 10 grid offers more squares to build words across, down and up. And with 36 more tiles, you can still stack lots of letters on letters to form new words and score sky high! So rack 'em up, then stack 'em up and experience 3-dimensional word play at its very best! For 2 to 4 players. Game includes: game board with 10 X 10 grid; 100 plastic letter titles; 4 plastic racks; 4 rubber feet; able sheet; instructions. Box artwork may vary. Upwords takes the likes of Scrabble to new heights. Players get more power out of every word and create more play possibilities. Players can build from words crossword puzzle-style or by stacking letters on top of tiles already on the board. The challenge is to make new words each time. For example, "stack" becomes "snack," then "snapshot." If it sounds like 3-D Scrabble, there's more to know. Scoring is simpler: each tile earns two points, and each stacked tile earns one. The usualNos apply: no capitalized, hyphenated, or abbreviated words, etc. The set comes with 100 letter tiles, tile racks for two to four players, and a plastic game board.--Lynne Sampson Rerations < Upwords >

(scattergories)
(Best game ever)
(Intellectual Family Fun) I've been playing Scattegories since I was a kid and it was Scattegories that got me hooked on board games in general. That three minutes of silence during the scribbling portion of Scattegories is the most intense three minutes in all of gamedom. It is possible to exhaust all of the cattegories if played enough times, but fear not because unlike many other games, Scattegories did make refills. A great party game, but alas I have retired from it because I argue on behalf of my words a bit too much. This is truely a game that you have to think, but don't have to be book smart. It is a very fun game to play with a small or large group. One thing we don't like about it is the timer is loud and its hard to think when all you hear is it going. my daughter was so happy to receive her own copy of the game, Scattergories. she is always playing with her friends at their homes, but now she can play at our home too. we have so much fun trying to get answers to the questions and beat the clock. a good game for short or long time periods. This is definatly my favorite board game. Its a whitty hilarous game that is sure to bring a good laugh or two to an awkward family gathering. My family and I love to play this game together. Scattergories challenges your creativity, because if two players come up with matching answers, neither player scores a point for that answer. The game has interesting categories on each card, and there are a lot of different cards. Even if you do decide to replay a category card, the letter will be different! The one thing that isn't absolutely great about Scattergories is the included timer- it has a horribly loud ticking noise that makes it difficult to think. I recommend using your own egg timer or stopwatch to time the three minutes- my grandma even sets her kitchen timer. Scattergories is a fast-paced word game that's a real crowd pleaser. Each player takes a category list with 12 categories--such as vegetable, state, president, things you throw away--and must write down the name of one item that fits into each category. Sounds easy enough, but each item has to begin with a specific letter that is determined when the 20-sided die is rolled. For instance, you roll the letter "R." Your answer list for the above categories might look something like this: rutabaga, Rhode Island, Roosevelt, rubbish, etc. You have to think fast, because a round lasts only 3 minutes! Players score points for each unique answer.--Alison Golder Right off the top of your head name a restaurant, fruit, toy, Halloween costume, and weaponand make sure your answers all begin with the same initial letter. There are 144 different categories to challenge your mind. It is for 2 to 6 players. The Package contents: six folders, 36 category cards, two answer pads, six pencils, 20-sided die, six plastic clip strips, timer and die-rolling and rules board. Color of parts may vary. (Great spacial game)
(A "must have" game....but you may need two(2)) My daughter is 5. She loves it. I love the little carry along bag that comes with it. Makes it a perfect item in our 'to go' bag. We save it to entertain during ball games, waits at resturants, anywhere that a 5 year old become antsy. I purchased Rush Hour Jr for my granddaughters after I saw how much my G/T students loved the older version. The five-year old "borrowed" it and has played all the cards and still loves it! Great activity to develop higher-order thinking skills. We love this game. The main difference from the regular Rush Hour is that the puzzles start out easier. The hard ones are actually pretty hard. My son could do the easy ones when he was 4. My 3 1/2 year old got this game for Christmas. Both he and his nearly 8 year old sister love it. They are quickly flying through the cards, which are divided into difficulty levels. I love to watch them reason through the strategy and figure out spatially which cars need to move where. There is a solution on the back of each card, but my kids don't look at those and find their own ways to solve the puzzles. I am going to order the next level of the game, and was thrilled to see that Fat Brain Toys offers extra cards after you complete the ones with that come with the game. What a great game for kids. I had to buy two since my grandkids wanted to compete to see who could finish first!! They range from ages 4-8. I was introduced to "Rush Hour" for adults. That is also a "must have" game. Same game, only more difficult. You pick a card from the deck marked "Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Expert", set the cars up as shown on the card, and try to get the red one out of the traffic jam. Sounds easy, but it's very difficult. We all play this at the cabin; kids, parents, grandparents and great grandparents!!! I would recommend this to everyone. ENJOY!! Now drivers as young as six can experience the fun and challenge of steering through traffic in their ice cream truck escape car. Playful vehicles and 40 simpler, age-appropriate challenges will amuse kids for hours. Escape the Traffic before the Ice Cream Melts!
