『We used this with our homeschooling and it was popular to say the least. The local radio shack also sells it and can be a resource for extras you can buy to get the most out of it. It comes with a booklet that shows you how to make each experiment. Any hands-on tool used for teaching, especially one where the kids get so excited about the results is always a plus. I'd recommend it as a great project to do with your kids to teach them the basics of how electricity works. My oldest quickly was able to do this independently with her siblings.』

Last year, we spent a fair bit of time learning how to create closed circuits using batteries, tape, rubber bands, wires, and foil. 『We were looking for a toy that would provide hours of learning, and also be fun to play. This was a birthday present for a 10 year-old, who already has every toy imaginable. We hit the jackpot with this one! He immediately started into the first project (there are 300 of them, in progressing difficulty), and played continuously for an hour and a half, his excitement building with each completed project. How many toys can do that? Even his Dad and uncle became like kids again, joining in the fun. The many pieces are organized in tray slots, so there is a place for every piece. Some of the pieces are small, so use caution around young chidren. This was by far the best price we could find for this kit. Well worth the money, and a great learning toy!!』

『My grandson loved this item. So I've got him larger, more complex, more expensive similar products. I think it is best to start at the top of the line, instead of starting at lower levels and progressing up the ladder to the more expensive ones. I'm talking about this manufacturer. I'll probably get him items costing hundreds of dollars, if he continues to show interest. Expensive? Not at all, if it creates an interest in science which he will continue to develop into adulthood. A great hobby to compete with all the negative influences competing for his time over the years.』

『My sons 10 and 4 1/2 love this nerf gun. Although it is to big for my younger son, he still tries to play with it.
It does fire fast and the clip that holds 35 darts is pretty cool. We thought it would have been a good idea to have the round cover unsnap so you could load them faster, but as it stands, you have to load them one at a time through the end of it. It's OK though, not a big deal. It actually works and doesn't jam up at all. We got the gun from Toys R Us and it had a bonus of 100 extra darts that came with it which made it an exceptional deal because buying the extra darts can get a little expensive. Would buy this item again.』

『If you're buying a Nerf gun, the "Raider" is the one to have. Our house has them all - most seem to have cheesy features that do little to enhance the "funability" - detachable stocks, red "laser" sites...those are neat for box art, but for tearing around the yard? You want fire power. The Raider fires very fast, doesn't jam and seems to have as much power as the Nerf Lawyers allow.

The drum mechanism is surprisingly reliable - at least for now. We've just taken ownership, so there's a lot of wear-and-tear to experience! We'll see. However, we decided to review early because there were some reviews that describe a jamming or difficulty with the loading mechanism. Straight out of the box, ours wouldn't load either...until we clicked in the clip. Then? Fine. So maybe the other reviewers hadn't attached their drum or clip yet?

Anyway, I'd say that if you were buying Nerf guns for your army, there are two you really should have - the Raider and the little single-shot "pistols." The rest are - in my opinion - thunk up by brand-extension wonks who just want to sell toys. Which is fine...but if your Nerfite really wants to PLAY, forget the features and just go with reliable firing.

The "vulcan" is, in my opinion, worthless btw - it fires slower than a 3 year old throwing ping pong balls and requires batteries. Plus, it's ungainly and...well...get a Raider.』

『It was the day after my birthday, and i decided to squander a bit of money on a present to myself. I have had great luck with the nerf maverick, and i decided to buy a new gun, one of the cool new ones. I was going to buy the vulcan, but overly pessimistic customer reviews put me off and i bought this instead.
let me tell you now, this is THE BEST NERF GUN YET. Below are listed my pros and cons, but the pros far outweigh the cons.
PROS:
Dart capacity(you can keep shooting for a really long time before reloading)

『This is an awesome gun and I got it for 35 dollars with 100 bullets. basically the gun was free. You will never lose a nerf battle with this gun. We play three on three and six shots takes you out. i don't run out of bullets during the battle when I fill this gun up. You should have a nerf pistol as a backup if you run out because the guns one drawback is it takes a long time to reload. It doesn'y seem to have a big problem with jamming like some of the rifles have.』

Maximum Firepower and Versatility
The CS-35 features a durable plastic frame, intended for intense play. It is based a classic Tommy gun design, complete with a drum magazine. This magazine can be used as an accessory with any other compatible N-Strike blasters. The CS-35 comes with an adjustable stock, which you adjust to fit the length of your arm. It also has a tactical rail, which you can equip with a variety of N-Strike accessories.

With a 35-dart capacity, the CS-35 has a truly massive payload of foam. Because of this, you might expect it to be a bit cumbersome, but it is actually surprisingly mobile. The blaster is lightweight enough to sprint with, and you'll be able to blind-fire around a corner with ease. You also shouldn't have to worry about running out of darts. The CS-35 comes with 100 darts, including 65 clip-system darts. The darts are gentle and soft, so younger kids will be able to get in on the action.

There is one downside to the huge dart capacity: each dart has to be reloaded individually, so preparing the blaster for play can take several minutes. Still, the fun you will have is well worth these moments of tedium.

Blast Your Enemies Away
The CS-35 fires reliably in battle, and is free of the jamming that often plagues Nerf guns. It uses a pneumatic pump to propel the darts, allowing you to be in control of the rate of fire. Real Electronic Parts
Electronic Snap Circuits includes real circuit components just like the circuit boards inside radios, televisions, computers, and other electronic devices. This set makes it easy for anyone to create simple electronic circuits and devices. To operate, you simply snap the electronic elements onto a plastic grid, and then connect them together with wire pieces that snap easily into place.

The SC-300 lets you build electronic devices such as a whistle chip, speaker, alarm circuit, LED, lamp socket, fan motor, and a speaker. Additional pieces can be purchased separately, or in different models, and they can all be used together to create larger and more elaborate projects.

Making Electronics Fun and Easy
The included instruction manual offers 305 projects ranging from a simple light switch to a noise-activated burglar alarm. We found the color-coded instruction manual clear and easy to understand, and we had no problems creating any of the projects we tried. The projects are organized by levels of difficulty, and each project teaches an objective such as "To show how electricity can only pass in one direction through an LED."

We definitely experienced a sense of satisfaction as we completed each project, and we definitely learned about electronics concepts. The manufacturer recommends the set for ages 8-108; younger engineers should be able to easily follow the diagrams for each project, but will probably require their parents to help explain how everything works. So a word of warning to parents: Brush up on your high school physics! Although the instruction offers some good information, we found that we still needed to brush up on the physics we learned years ago so we could understand concepts such as the difference between a circuit in parallel and in series.

Unique Learning Experience
Creating a flying UFO from "scratch" with rudimentary electronic pieces was highly satisfying to us, and we think Electronic Snap Circuits may well help young students gain and foster an appreciation for, and interest in, how electronics work and are built.

For students who are already learning about electronics in school, this set creates a hands-on experience that makes for more fun than reading about how these things work in a textbook. So don't be surprised if report cards come back with higher grades after playing with this toy.

Parent-Child Bonding Experience
The Elenco Electronic Snap Circuits would make a great parent-child bonding experience that is both educational and fun.
