Not only has my one year old not tired of the stage after 6 months of use, but it is a toy that has not gotten on my nerves as well.
Bought this to have at the house for our granddaughter. She was able to sit by herself the first time she played with it and she was totally fascinated with it. This visit, at a year, she still played with it constantly. She loved pulling up on it and the toy is very sturdy. It was such a hit, that I ordered one for her to have in her own home. Highly recommend this toy. It was a hugh success!!
My 7 month old grandson loves this toy. He will play with it for hours!
My son has had this for 6 months now and still loves it. He dances along with the music, it's so cute.
I have to say this toy is fantastic!!! My baby got this at 6 months old and plays with it EVERYDAY. She is now a week shy of a year old. This was the best investment ever. The music and mirror are great for when they are small. It has lights that flash, music that plays, lots of vibrant color and a mirror for your baby to gaze into. My daughter learned to pull herself up with this toy, and moved on to walking in circles around it while holding onto it. I can't emphasize enough that this is a hit. Do yourself a favor and buy it- your child will love it!

This is a great toy. My granddaughter that is now two loved it, so I just got another one because now we have two grandsons. They both love it also.
I have a 3 month old daughter and she loves this play gym. As a parent I do have a few complaints, but nothing that I consider a deal-breaker. I wish there were lights on the arches, not just on the mat itself. I've also had problems with the "nursery tunes" musical setting. I can't get it to play longer than 30 seconds or so. I don't have that problem with the "Mozart" setting for some reason. Regardless, she loves it.
At first I thought it would be way too stimulating for our baby, but from 2 mo on until 6 mo, he LOVED it.
As your child grows, he gets more use out of it.
The animals make crinkly noises or rattle - a big hit with a young baby.
Great for tummy time as the flowers light up and there are things to explore on mat too.
Also good for hand-eye coordination to grab at the animals.
Folds up well for storage

I got this one for my 2 weeks old boy, still didn't work well however it's 0-10 months, he didn't react at all. I tried it on another 6 month old boy, it was amazing, I can't wait for my boy to be 6 month.
I loathe baby things. I hate the garish colors, the noises, the persistent cheerfulness.

But my son looooooooves this gym, so I guess I'm going to have to get over myself. I've noticed this whole baby thing was CUSTOM DESIGNED to get me to get over myself.

But back to the play gym. It's very well made, and as advertised, folds flat into the large plastic envelope. I can't stand leaving it out in the living room, so I do indeed snap it flat and hide it behind a door several times a day. The snaps are holding up just fine. There is lots to do both when he's lying on his stomach as well as on his back. Everything is firmly stitched into place, and it all still looks new despite my offspring's best attempts at destruction by tooth... well, gums... and claw. It washes well. The dangling toys work well attached to strollers and car seats, so we never need to do without the monkey and its delicious feet.

The only thing that is annoying is the tinny music player - it got scratchy sounding very quickly, and battery changes don't help. But since I would rather shove red hot needles into my ears than listen to the "music" even when it played fine, I would recommend one's own MP3 collection as background noise anyway.

Fun game for the whole family. Nice, compact case to carry with us on trips and to visit friends. Children practice their math and probability skills while having a great time.
The game was fun and the case makes it easy to carry around. I'm not sure how original you can say the game is since it's like dice but I think it's a great spin on a classic
I recently took a trip with my 7 year old nephew and while waiting for a delayed flight this game was handy. Small enough to fit in a mom's purse to take to long doctor visits, etc.
This game is a change from the usual board games, Monopoly, Sorry, etc. It is both fun and educational. You join Lewis&Clark in exploring the unknown. The goals: map the rivers, make friends with natives, open the West to trade, and look for a Northwest Passage (an easy water route from coast to coast). I purchased this as a gift the receipent loves it and plays with it often.
I bought this based on the dozens of glowing reviews here on Amazon, the wide age range (easy enough for my 7 year old), and the low purchase price (less than $10).

The pigs are adorable and the self containing hard plastic packaging is much more durable than the cardboard boxes most games come with. I am sure this will accompany us on trips to the beach.

That said, the game gets very repetitive fast. And by fast, I mean in the first 30 minutes of total game play. There are a limited number of rolls and they take place again and again until someone reaches 100. And since you can roll as many times as you want (unless you roll a pig out), it is possible for only one player to play for a whole game with nobody else having a turn. Yay. We will have to look for some alternative rules to spice things up.
For 2 or more players
Go hog wild with the pig-tastic game, Pass the Pigs. Players attempt to rack up points by rolling the pig dice - but if they're not careful they might 'Pig Out' and lose all their points. Pass the Pigs is the sizzlin' fun, shakin' bacon game!
How's your tolerance for puns? You'll need some for Pass the Pigs, a simple game of chance built around a pig theme. Instead of dice, you roll two cute pink piglets, and you gain or lose points depending on how the critters land. For example, if both land on all fours, called a "double trotter," you get 20 points; if they land lying opposite each other, called a "Pig Out," you gain no points and cede your turn. There are a number of other rules as well as a variation called "Hog Call." This would be a good travel game (the pigs, instructions, and scoring pad fit in a small, tidy box) or a fine present for someone who's, well, into pigs!--Elisa Murray

My kids love this! At first they were a little scared by the size, but now it's the best way to cool off fast! Would buy another!
First of all when I got this item, it was damaged. It had a couple of gashes like someone had opened it previously with a blade. It obviously had been repackaged. I would have sent it back, except it was way too heavy and big to get it neatly tucked back into its container and box.

I decided to patch it up. The patches provided did the job, but the glue ran out quick. After that it was Banzai away. The slide is a lot of fun and my son had a blast. Because it arrived damaged I rated it a 3. If it had arrived in tip top shape, it would have been a 5.
I also bought one of these slides in the summer of 2006, and yes, the box was marked "new and improved". It lasted for 2006 and then fell apart about half way through the summer last year (2007). Same problem as everyone, with the sides, footholes and handgrips ripping apart at the seams. I thoroughly dried my slide before putting it away for the season and hung it up in a dry shed for storage. I agree that it should be more durable for the price, and was disappointed that it only lasted 1 1/2 seasons, but I also bought it instead of renting one for my kid's birthday party, so I ended up saving money overall anyway.
We purchased this slide in 2005 and still have had NO problems with it. We do limit the number of people on the slide to 4 and they are no older then 7 years old. We also ensure that the children are not jumping on the slide and only using it for it's intended purpose... to slide down.
We purchased this slide in May of 2005. It held up through 2 full summers which included 4 birthday parties. Ours failed after my oldest sons (9 year olds) party this year. The seams on the slide started to come apart and it won't fully inflate now. Since we used it for birthday parties in addition to regular use, I would say we got our monies worth out of it, but since we went to great lengths to take care of it, drying it out before storage, etc, I would have hoped it would have lasted longer. We have all boys and they tend to congregate at the top, so that could be a reason for the seams splitting, but as it seems to be a common occurrence, maybe not.

I'm not too familiar with these so I have to only tell what I know. This was a gift to a friend's daughter who explained to me how they work. You get the animal, it is a cute stuffed animal, they enter this code in the computer and like every other stuffed animal it ends up on the bed or shelf and then they play and learn a lot of things on this "Webkinz" site that is educational.
This is a real Webkinz, the image has been copied nicely. I bought it as an addition to my collection, I am putting together a set of the originals as I find them. I am still looking for those which do not have the Magic "W". I think the Webkinz could be used as a reward to children for other accomplishments that have been well done. It lacks healthly activities (children need to move and play) and there is no sunshine in a computor room. My true liking of plush pets is Russ Shining Stars, much better made and the price remains reasonable.
I bought this Webkin horse for my 7 year old daughter but wasn't sure if she would play much with it. I have been shocked at the number of hours she has spent on the computer improving her Webkin world! I also bought another Webkin for my 9 year old daughter and both girls get on the computers (we have two) and interact with eachother, visit their online rooms, etc. I bought much more expensive items for both of the girls for Christmas, but I would say that this one has, by far, gotten the most playtime. It's a great value!
Great Webkinz for a great price. However, the shipping was almost as much as the toy (which is not so good).

Oh well, my choice to pay the shipping. It came well packaged and relatively promptly.
So I am pleased.

I bought this for my 9 year old. I did not know where you could buy them.. Surprise surprise you can buy them at Target.. Now I will Know for next time. She had a heart attack when she saw it at X-mas and had to register it immediately.

disgustingly fun!! the better/newer the tv/monitor the better the picture quality. we love it!!
This toy is great! My dad bought it for himself and I plan on getting one soon too. I borrowed his, and I was checking everything out, and it made it way to my face, and I was amazed and grossed out at the same time..I put it up to the corner of my eye while I looked the opposite way to the TV and I got to see all the veins on my eye really up close..It was awesome..very fun for both kids and adults.
The whole family enjoys this. Especially on the 46" LCD tv. It works really well.
My 9 year old nephew loved this toy. The family did as well. My nephew wasn't able to play with it at first because all of the family kept taking it away so they could play with it. Educational and fun; can't beat that!
