(Red EOD Spartan) What a fragile POS
The first time I tried (carefully) putting the SMG in the figure's right hand, the pistol grip broke off.
I also found that the left elbow doesn't bend too well.
Since I can't display it to my liking anymore...I might as well let the four year old finish it off. I was rather unfortunate to discover that the spartan that I had gotten had a locked elbow. The SMG's are quite fragile, and can can be easily broken, if you try to force it into thier grasp too hard. This guy is highly detailed, just like the rest, but other than his flaws, I can probably get over it. Halo follows the events of an inter-galactic war between the last surviving members of the human race and an advanced collection of alien races known as The Covenant. The first title in the series, Halo: Combat Evolved was the flagship title for Microsoft's Xbox video game console when it was released in 2001. The game achieved both critical acclaim and financial success, selling more than 6 million copies worldwide. The Spartans are highly trained warriors. Although individually less powerful than the Master Chief, a army of Spartans is a lethal force. Unique to HALO 3 are the alternate armor and helmet styles worn by these soldiers. (Fun at the Gas Station (Pun Intended!))
(what can I say, kids love farts (ok so do adults))
(Cvaughan)
(Electronic Whoopee Cusion Fart Machine No 2 AS SEEN ON TV) This machine created a lot of laughs for everyone involved. I would definitely recommend it for a fun time. I work at a gas station and bought this fart machine as a birthday present for the guy I work with, and...well, let's just say that was the most fun I've ever had at work! We both loved it, and so did all the customers! I bought FM2 for my 7 year old son and 3-year old daughter for Hanukkah this year. We installed the 9-volt battery and took turns operating the remote control while someone else pretended to be stricken with colossal gas. My wife couldn't stop laughing, and we quickly brought out the video camera to document the scene. FM2 will have you laughing your head (or should I say a--) off.
Why, you may ask, did he rate this goofy toy 5-stars for educational value? Great question. The answer is it makes kids be creative planning and scheming the remote controlled fart, and in acting out the "farter" role.
In all seriousness, FM2 is totally funny, and well made...and what can I say except kids love farts (and you will too). This electronic device is a blast of fun for everyone!! Make sure you take the batteries out as it will go off at any time including the middle of the night! It is awesome!! Lots of fun for the special occasion! Needs more sound effects... only 5 with this model.
Good range! As seen on Howard Stern. You can now FART wherever and whenever you'd like. This is your chance to impress or gross out your friends and family. This is the new and improved fart machine! The fart machine makes 15 new different fart sounds (SOUNDS SO REAL!!). Fart Machine has boom box technology...what is this?? Well let's just say these fart noises can't sound any more real!It has 2 pieces - the remote transmitter (battery included) and the speaker which requires one 9 volt battery (not included) Remote works through walls and can range up to 100 feet!!! Use it anywhere... at parties, school, movies, office, in a baby's diaper or in the Thanksgiving Turkey! Hide the sound box, then press the remote control at the appropriate time to "let it rip"! This unit even comes with stick pads to hide the speaker under chairs or tables!! Each retails for $29.99 each in stores. Rerations < The Original Fart Macine #2 - Remote Fart Machine >

But I have seen photos from the '70s where you can see the resemblance. The biggest flaw is that I find it impossible to get it to stand up by itself. I have it leaning against the wall. Imported from Japan, Bursting onto the scene in the 1960's in the wake of the British Invasion, and redefining rock 'n roll with a healthy dose of rhythm and blues, the Rolling Stones became one of the biggest bands of all time, due in no small part to the musicianship and creativity of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Mick, the manic stage presence, and Keith, the steady guitarist who anchored the band, have gone down as true rock gods, and these UDF (Ultra Detail Figures) from Medicom capture these giants of the stage as they appeared during the band's heyday in the 1970's, Each figure stands 7" tall with accessories such as microphones and guitars, and they come on display bases. No fan of the Rolling Stones will want to miss out on these collectible figures. Rerations < The Rolling Stones: 1970's Keith Richards Action Figure >

(horrible!!!!!)
(ertl rapid fire shotgun)
(Don't even bother)
(Horrible Gun. Don't Buy!!!!) Ok. So out of the box it performs poor. But then again most all nerf guns do so that is really irrelevant. By standards of a professional nerf modder (my modded blasters sell for over $200) this blaster is amazing. It can be transformed from a weak child's toy that ranges 10-15' to a dominating weapon that will hurl foam darts over 100'. This and the pump action shotgun are the two best currently produced nerf type blasters. Like most nerf type blasters you will need to modify the barrels to shoot the optimal "stefan" style foam darts. The darts that are included are similar to the older style nerf darts called MEGAS. They can still be ordered from Hasbro directly. however the company that produces this blaster also sells refills of the same type darts it comes with. Amazon does not however sell them. If you do want to use standard common nerf type ammo you can do that also.
Here is an example of my own skills put into this blaster.
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h34/Blacksunshine420b/Nerf%20guns/Doomsayer/IMG_0239.jpg
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h34/Blacksunshine420b/Nerf%20guns/Doomsayer/IMG_0241.jpg I thoght i was going to have a ultimate shotgun to my arsenal but turns out this gun was horrible 1.this gun shoots large bullets that aren't even in stores 2.it shoots about ten feet that is if the bullet fires 3.it has a safety control which make no sense if it is a dart gun the product was fun, but the box it was delivered in was bad, ripped and it was sealed all the way, the toy was cracked in some parts but worked fine
We bought this toy for my son for Christmas - a foam dart shooter enthusiast - and were shocked and astonished at how absolutely horrible it performed. The foam darts fit VERY tightly into the rotating barrel... so tighly in fact that the gun had a diffcult time even firing them... maybe out of twenty trigger pulls, 4 darts would fire - and only a few feet... then there was no way to eject darts that simply wouldn't fire.
I'm can honestly say that it seems no one at the manufacturer has tested these from production to ensure they even work.
Until you hear otherwise, don't bother. This "nerf" gun was crap from day one. First of all, the bullets are over-sized and you can't use regular nerf darts. That means after the 12 go missing, that's it. I haven't been able to buy refills...not that I'd want to.
Secondly, the gun is very unreliable. It might shoot 3 of the 12 darts on a consistent basis.
Third, the range is WEAK! I was in a nerf fight with my roommate who was using a Nerf Maverick. It was pretty embarrassing when I'd shoot my shotgun and he just took a couple steps back to let the dart fall to the ground in front of him.
Yeah it does look cool...and it feels pretty cool too when you're holding it. But for functionality...this gun is complete crap. Would not use it in a nerf fight.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! This new foam shooter will provide children with hours of fun. Shooting 12 "rounds" of foam darts, this is the most detailed foam shooter yet from Outdoor Sportsman. Rerations < Outdoor Sportsman - Rapid Fire Shotgun >

(Hunted and Killed) Do not waste your money on this toy.
After watching the terminator movie, I rushed out to buy this toy and when I saw that it got a positive review, I was happy&bought it.
Big Mistake. The toy is nothing better than one of those give-aways you get at fast food franchises with kids meals, albeit a little larger. Actually I got some bobble head give-aways for the kids that had more detail.
Though it has the same shape, it does not look like the picture advertised here. The Terminator&the HK are the same dark black color where here the HK is pictured as a metallic Grey. It does not have any blue "sensor array" in front, the entire thing is just black&has none of the detail is painted whatsoever, except for 4 soft plastic guns (1 of which is curved so you cant point it straight).
To give you an idea of what I mean about the surface, imagine the inside of any plastic mold, such as a remote control. It does have lines&ridges going through, but that's it.
It is also poorly designed. It sits better with it's 3 legs up than with it's 3 legs down as the rear legs 1. go too far back 2. are too close together 3. hve too small a foot print; the front leg is just too short, it barely clears the guns in the front.
If you leave the legs up&stand it, it sits just fine without dropping the legs&raising it's center of gravity.
Also, it is hollow, light and feels very cheap. The terminator is supposed to be held inside it however the terminator's shoulders are about 1mm wider than the inside of the HK so you have to fiddle his arms to get it to work.
The engines rotate, however the mechanism to rotate them is so free&loose that you will not be able to hold the engines in the same position for very long. Skynet's air support, the Hunter Killer or HK, is a sleek jet powered craft the flies around blowing the crap out of the resistance. In one sense it's just a big flying terminator. So how could I resist picking one up.
First of all I have to say that I think the $20 to $25 price tag is actually a pretty good deal. It comes with a 3 3/4" scale T-700 endoskeleton which sold by itself is $7, although here he doesn't come with any additional accessories (i.e. guns). Just using what I paid $23 minus $7 and you could argue that the HK was really $16 which is pretty cheap for a vehicle like this especially if you were interested in the T-700 anyway.
In addition to the T-700 other accessories and action features are: 2 missiles that can be fired via the standard spring loaded mechanism, retractable (and articulated) landing "feet", 4 swiveling guns (although I had to work to get the back ones loose so be careful), a wheel on top that can be used to rotate the two side mounted jets (which are removable if that counts as a feature), and an opening hatch in which you can store your T-700 - there's actually a little cradle you can snap him into so he's not just loose in there.
The look is sleek and mean; you can see it in the pictures. There is plenty of sculpted detail - not model level but for this price range really good, I was real happy with the detail on the jet engines, and there are areas of black paint applied for additional detail. It won't win any awards but it is serviceable.
If I had to point out one flaw it's that in hand it tends to feel a little too light which makes you think cheap. But then, after all, it is just a hollow piece of sculpted plastic. You just want this big killing machine to feel more solid I guess. But taking into account the price and the accessories and features I can live with it being on the light side. Overall it is a solid and fun toy. No longer must the resistance soldiers do battle with the Terminators ONLY on the ground¿the evil machines have taken to the sky! The Hunter Killer is the main bad-guy vehicle in the Terminator line. It is flown by the evil Human Cyborgs to battle the Resistance Soldiers. The Hunter Killer comes complete with shooting projectiles and its own fully articulated Terminator T-700 figure. This iconic vehicle is ready for battle! (Interesting and mildly entertaining.) I think this is a really cool toy, with some design flaws. Firstly, the control panel will not activate the transporter, even when plugged into the base. Secondly, the transporter is a pretty tight fit for most of the figures. (Nero looks very uncomfortable.) Finally, I bought all of the figures to complete the round base, but once the base is completed it no longer fits into background that holds the transporter. Overall, cool concept, decent construction...some design flaws. Bottomline, still fun, but don't feel compelled to get the extra pieces. I just purchased this item today and can honestly say it is better than "The Bridge Playset". You can see my review on the "Bridge" as well. Once again with this set you get a cheap plastic mat but the "movie sounds" and overall appearance are great. Unlike the Bridge, with this set a kid can actually play with it and get involved and there's not as much equipment (pieces) that could get lost or broken. Like the Bridge, you have to collect the "Galaxy" figure set to complete the overall appearance, but with this set, if you have the 10 figures you are only missing one piece that in the scheme of things is almost trivial. This set when moved around looks completely different and not only is it fun to play with but equally great for display. *NOTE for those who don't pay too much attention, take the inserted cardboard piece of Kirk out of the transport tube before trying to use*. The added feature of connecting the control panel to the "stage", and having buttons on said control panel that activate the lights and sounds is definitely COOL. However the display image on the box and backs of the "Galaxy" figures is a bit misleading. The display image shows it looking as it should when completely put together, but in this mode the control panel buttons do not work, however, on the instruction sheet it explains this. Here again I took a piece of matte finish gold poster board, and laid the mat on it, then laid a piece of clear plastic board like Plexiglas on top. This mat is much smaller than the Bridge mat, so it cost me .89 cents for the board and $2 for the plastic overlay at a local hobby shop. Overall, this is a fun toy to play with and display. Beam me up Scotty! USS Enterprise Transporter Room: Just like in the new movie! This Transporter room appears to `transport¿ figures to and from remote areas. Now you can beam your action figures in and out and watch them actually disappear and reappear. It¿s truly amazing! (Just Like the Real Thing!) My Dad has a much smaller one of these I remember from when I was a child, so when I saw this one I had to have it. The info says it's 6in across, but when it actually arrived it was more like 9in. This thing is HUGE, think the size that was giving birth to all the babies in the episode. It's really cute and squishy though, and the sounds are realistic. So realistic my cats think it's a prey item! They've stolen it a few times already, but haven't managed to damage it yet, so it's pretty sturdy. The velcro area that houses the battery and on/off switches is roomy enough to pull the box out so you can see what you're doing without ripping any seams. All in all, it's a pretty cool item, as long as you can hide it from your pets! Wow. This tribble makes very good tribble noises, both the purr (trill) and the klingon alarm call. The purr could be a tad louder and clearer, but it's certainly readily identifiable as a tribble purr. The klingon alarm call is almost identical. A must have for anyone that likes trek. The velcro that allows you access to the switch is easily hidden, but pretty easy to manipulate. I haven't had it long, but it seems well made. Again, a great tribble product, one worth buying unlike all those other older versions out there. customer 's review (Easy on the eyes, frail to the touch)
(Love It!!!)
(Coraline Raincoat Bendy Doll)
(VERY FRAGILE)
(Great little Doll for display) Like the other doll I reviewed, this Coraline doll was designed to look great and look great it does. however, it does not hold well against any person with a rough touch, be it toddler or adult. It's a figure that demands careful attention and non abrasive hands to deal with and serves best at the reminder of one of the best animation movies ever made. I bought this for my husband because we both loved the movie. The detail is great and she comes with a fun yellow raincoat and her swampers! I think this doll would be great for any fans of the movie Coraline, but regular doll-wise it's nothing special. So, I'll be reviewing it from the viewpoint of a Coraline fan.
Stars explained: Fun: Five stars because you can pose her, which is really fun. Educational: Three stars because it gives you a look into how the film was made (i.e. the removal and replacement of faces in order to show an expression) Durable: Four stars because of the bendy arms, which sometimes feel a bit brittle if you push them too far. Overall: Five stars. A great replica of Coraline.
Pros: + It looks exactly like the movie version of Coraline. I mean, really, if you take a picture of this thing it's like you snuck on the set and snapped a photo of the real deal. That's a major plus. + The face isn't hard to remove, but it won't fall off on its own. I think the face-removal is a great feature because it makes it possible to move the eyes on the doll. If you like taking pictures of dolls in silly poses (guilty heehee), the moving eyes grant a lot of possibilities. + The materials used for her clothing feel realistic. Her raincoat is slick, her jeans are rough, and her boots are smooth (there's even mud on them!). It just adds to the feeling of authenticity. + The paint job is fantastic. None of her freckles are smudged, her lips and eyebrows are very nicely painted, the skin is very even, and the amount of blush is perfect.
Cons: - Her hair is... translucent. A little funky. They did a good job with it not showing her skull and all, but... translucent? Really? Luckily it isn't so obvious in pictures. - The bendy-ness could be a bit better. It suits her because she's so skinny, but actual joints would be nice. The wrists do rotate, though. - She doesn't have a shirt on under the raincoat. It isn't so bad if you don't take her coat off, I guess. Just a little weird. If you want to find a shirt for her, I suggest making one. She is incredibly skinny and it's hard to find a doll shirt that fits her well.
If you want this doll just to display, it's great. If you want to purchase this for a kid to play with, I don't really suggest it. Because of the accuracy to the film and the removable face feature, I would guess it's more of a collectible, or at least 12 and up. Though this is called a "Bendy" doll, don't let your kids play with it much. Within 10 minutes my 6 year old broke off both hands and 1 foot (she was gently bending the doll into different poses.
So, this is fine if you want to set it on the shelf, but it's not good to actively play with. Got this for my daughter after seeing the movie and she loves it. It is very small, but a collectible size and very well made looking just like the character. Not a doll for a small child, more for a teen who wants to put it on a shelf and admire.
