She has played with all of them for hours a day....everyday since I purchased them in Feb. This set is great for learning strategy, role play and creativity. Extremely sturdy and easy to consolidate pieces for storage at the end of the day. Our Granddaughter, who is 4, loves Dora. Since this has several configurations, it stimulates her creative juices. I got this for my 2 year old son for Christmas. He loves Dora the Explorer, and he loves "houses", so I figured he'd enjoy this toy. He does like it, but the key problem is that it's not sturdy at all. It's more like Legos, so an adult must first build the house. It doesn't stay together very well at all though, so more often than not it's in pieces in his bedroom. I like the idea, and the price is good, but it's probably better for a 3 or 4 year old Dora fan. I bought this set in conjunction with "Dora's Buildable House", and they work very well together, with my 4 year-old daughter using pieces from this set in the house and vice versa. It probably wouldn't be enough on its own to sustain a child's interest for very long, as there simply aren't enough pieces. It seems very well made, and is compatible with Duplo and even (small) Lego. One nice thing to note is that the Dora gfigures in this set and "Dora's Buidable House" have different hair styles and clothes - so it's not like you're doubling up. With my girls ones is now "Dora" and the other has become "Dora's sister". Enjoy the summer sun with Backyard Surprises and Dora! You can't get 'em any better than the Papo toys, you really can't. I've been waiting to find a good, realistic TRex to display at my cubicle at work, or to just study and imagine what a real dino might look like - Papo dinos are the very, very best. These are sturdy, mature toys that will light up your imagination. This Rex is in the perfect pose, and is of the perfect dimensions. Easily the most accurate Tyrannosaurus available in toy form. I'm just crazy about these Papo dinosaurs - they're terrific!! I saw this dinosaur while on a trip to Columbus, OH, and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. This is a fantastic, museum-quality "toy", if that's what you want to call it. The T-Rex is so good that I'm going to buy the Spinosaurus and Raptor next! Awesome detail on this T-Rex. Looks exactly like the ones from the Jurassic Park movies. It is very well constructed and is ultra durable. Can't wait to add other Papos to my collection!!!!! I got this toy for my son's 5th birthday and he loves it! It's not only educational, but he can play with it too. It's made of plastic so he can rough play with it as well. It was made with great detail too so it looks real. It's more expensive than the other brands, but well worth it! Like the other review said it is a good toy, a very good toy. It's great quality, well made, and durable like you wouldn't believe. It's one of those toys that even your most destructive child wouldn't do much damage. But there is ONE flaw - it's toes. My son fell on the toy and it's toes punctured his knee. It did make his knee bleed, but it wasn't too bad. They are very sharp. BUT that is very fixable, in fact we fixed it our selves. I took a pair of nail clippers and simply trimmed down the toe. I would definitely recommend this to friends but I would also include the suggestion to clip the toes if they seem a bit too sharp. (Impressive!) the little Wall-E is about the size of my fist. The best part is how his head can change direction so it can actually be adjusted to "stare" at YOU or into the sky--like it does in the movie! Its arms are also able to post some guestures. And its hands can actually hold some small piece of paper or something. Unfortunately, the wheels are not so tightly attached to the body. One of them will sometimes fall apart from the body when I try to use the wheel to move it around...So, basically, this is just for posing guestures--and it does this job well. After having it for a few weeks, I am wondering if it's a bit over-priced. I mean, big share of the price goes for copyright to Pixar rather than manufacturing or improving quality. But if you really like the movie and really like the character of Wall-E, it definitely suits your table or your collections of movie figures. Age recommendation is now 4+. It was 3+. My now 4 year old cries when she plays with this toy as all you do is put it together. If you touch it the toy falls apart. You CANNOT play with this toy. It is great for a kid who is adept and likes to build things. My 4 y/o is more coordinated than most but this toy simply is not meant for a kid under 6 y/o or a mechanical engineer of any age. Made well, small enough to be played with anywhere yet large enough for little hands. Well, I just loved this movie and wanted a little figurine of WALL-E. I wanted one with treads and not little wheels and this has that. That's important. WALL-E has treads and so should his toys. But, it's a little on the flimsy side, which I think other reviewers have said. Though sort of "made to break", because you can put it back together with little trouble and I don't think it would be easily permanently damaged. Unless that was a person's intent, which, then, of course it could be. I mean, if you're trying to break stuff and not breaking it, what's wrong with you? Maybe go get a tool of some kind. A hammer. Whatever. I like it, it's pretty detailed, it's neat, and it has treads. This WALL-E figure is highly poseable and fun to take apart and put back together. The attention to detail is excellent. The two sets of treads are an "old" worn-down pair and a new pair, and the tread action is very well-done. It looks great with the Search and Protect EVE because the two are in the same scale, perhaps only a little bit off. He cannot fold into a cube and his arms don't move on tracks like in the film but otherwise, it's a highly-detailed fun, cute toy. You can help repair WALL-E. Snap in the different parts in the correct locations as shown and continue building until Wall-E is completely repaired. It's not too cutesy (Fisher Price) which is good, because how can your young knight do battle with a happy smiling dragon? It's not too scary, which is good because hello, it's a toy for littles. No batteries needed, another plus. Small size for little hands, and relatively easy for little hands to manipulate the dragon to make it open it's mouth to pretend to breathe fire or operate its wings to fly away. If your preschooler is into knights, get the Imaginex castle too--another wonderful product and better than Playmobile for the under 5's because there are no chokable tiny pieces, nor are there 100 of them! My son first got this toy when he was around 2 I think. I was afraid that he'd be scared of it since the dragon has claws and a fierce expression, but he loved to make it's wings flap and it's mouth open and close. The toy is pretty sturdy and durable, so it survived being pulled, dropped and thrown across the room. My son is now 4 and he still plays with this toy all the time. He no longer tries to pull open the mouth and slam it against the wall, but instead uses this dragon as the "bad guy" fighting against his Rescue Heroes and Planet Heroes (and sometimes against his Lego Pirates in a battle for the hidden treasure). With no need for batteries, no electronic lights or sounds to break, this toy has brought literally years of imaginative play. I can't say enough good things about the Imaginext line of toys from Fisher Price. Definitely a good choice for preschool aged and up. We have owned this toy for about 2 years now and being that my son is more into dinosaurs than dragons is likely the reason this isnt brought out as much. But when we do play with it, depending on how silly we want to be or exciting, it is alot of fun. It is really neat that you can move a lever to get its wings to flap and the head to move forward as if it is blowing fire (or if you are being goofy you can pretend its talking about silly things)! I have two boys two and four years old and they both love the dragon. I got this for my 2 year old son. My oldest boy loves knights and dragons, but my 2 yr old cannot really play with some of his toys. I love Imaginext because there are no real small parts and it creates durable, reasonably priced toys that get their imaginations going. This dragon has a button that allows your child to make it flap it's wings and another to make it "chomp" and it can move its arms legs and tail. All three of my kids loved playing with it (even my 4 yr old daughter). Most of all my 2 year old can play with my oldest together with these and seeing them all playing together makes me very happy.
