I bought these for my grandson who loved dinosaurs at the time. He has outgrown them but still has them. It was a great gift and well worth the money.
I got this for my 3 year old son, who is really into dinosaurs right now. He loves the toy and it is great -- he plays with it in the sandbox as well as on the floor indoors. It keeps him busy for a good amount of time. However, I was shocked to find the same toy at Toys R Us for less than HALF of what I paid on amazon. I was under the impression that this item was difficult to find, but I saw 2 shelves full of them in May 2009. So save your money and buy elsewhere.
I love Amazon for its selection of books, which are fairly priced. However, the toys I've found here since Christmas are so incredibly overpriced...even on Black Friday and the online Monday-after "sale" -- I waited to see if I could get a better price and found instead that almost every item was over-priced. With this toy, again I checked quickly with Toys R Us and it is $19.99 for the exact set. It's $65 here! Why the big mark-up? What a great toy...but do yourself a favor and buy it elsewhere.
I got this for a nephew. He really liked it. I think the durability isn't as good as the dinosaur storage box that I bought.
I bought this a few years ago for my now 6 year old nephew. He's been a huge dinosaur fan, especially T-Rex, since he was around 1 year old. His eyes lit up when he saw how much stuff was included. The toys are durable. I love that it comes with a play mat, trees, and rocks. He loved pretending that volcanos were erupting and wiping out the dinosaurs. He knows the names of so many dinosaurs. Those he can't remember, he flips the dinosaur over and reads the name off the underside. My nephew, Dominic, and his friends have had hours of fun with this toy. I highly recommend it for any young dinosaur lover.

(DC Universe Classics: Barry Allen as the Flash Returns)

One of the many problems that I've had over the years with DC figures is that they seemed to only be 'figurines' or 'statues' as opposed to action figures. The sculpts were very nice, but they had little-to-no points of articulation, and they were exorbitantly priced. But then DC got down off of their 'collectable only' pedestal and started following the amazing work done by Marvel and Toy Biz/Hasbro on the MARVEL LEGENDS series; making beautifully sculpted figures with dozens of points of articulation that you can actually play with AND that are also affordable. This was something that DC DIRECT had been missing, but they joined forces with Mattel and started making the DC UNIVERSE figures, which like the Marvel figures, have the above improvements.

Now, they've been making consistently better figures since their trial run with the Batman and Superman-related figures, and have expanded their figure repertiore with Silver Age, Bronze Age and Modern Age heroes ranging from the obscure (Big Barda, Firestorm, Etrigan, Batman Beyond, Cyborg, etc.) to the must-haves (Green Lantern, Nightwing, Wonder Woman, The Riddler). And this figure of THE FLASH is no exception. It's a beautiful figure with many many points of articulation. And moreso, it's affordable. In years to come, many of the DC Direct figures will find their way into cut-out bargain bins, but the DC Universe figures will have places for action figure collectors for all time!
As you may already know, DC Comics will soon be presenting its much-hyped "Flash: Rebirth" mini-series, which will re-introduce the Silver Age Flash (Barry Allen) to modern comic book fans. After his poignant and truly heroic demise a quarter-century ago in the epic "Crisis on Infinite Earths" maxi-series, there have been very few attempts to resurrect Barry Allen's Flash as an action figure, including one a few years from the excellent "Crisis" action figures from DC Direct. Courtesy of Mattel's DC Universe Classics franchise, you needn't wait any longer.

Initially, I was surprised that this Flash is actually Barry Allen and not his nephew (and successor), Wally West, but with the "Flash: Rebirth" in stores in a matter of a few weeks, it now makes perfect sense, timing wise. And yes, Wally West appears in this same wave as the Silver Age Kid Flash, but, unfortunately, his rendition is far less stellar than that of his legendary mentor.

The sculpting is simply terrific in recreating Barry's trademark costume that became so familiar with fans from the nostalgic era of the "Super Friends" animated cartoons and its related Kenner "Super Powers" action figure franchise. The articulation points are sufficient enough to give Barry a decent number of poses, and he can stand up indefinitely without a support base.

Assuming you can find this figure, I highly recommend it as a solid investment for collectors. Barry Allen is back, no doubt about it. On a scale of 1-10, the Silver Age Flash definitely rates a 10.

This product is great&I would highly recommend it! My daughter was 6 weeks premature&so I thought I would get this product to monitor her once she came after 3 weeks in the hospital. I have never had a false alarm with it&everytime I take her out of her crib without turning the monitor off, it sounds the alarm within 20 seconds because it does not detect her anymore. At night if she sleeps a long time&I wake up in a panic wondering if she is okay, I remember I have the device turned on. I had a friend who almost lost her baby to silent reflux so I wanted to put my mind more at ease knowing that if my baby stopped breathing, I would be alarmed so I would have a chance at CPR. This is money well spent! I use mine in my pack and play. I just put down a plywood board underneath it and it works flawlessly. I also really like that it runs on batteries so I don't have to worry so much about the electromagnetic frequiencies (EMF).
This thing works as advertised. I was somewhat skeptical when buying this as a few reviews mentioned false alarms, but so far it has been rock solid. We use it in a bassinet and have had zero false alarms. Perhaps when we transition to a crib it will have a few false alarms..

The device depends on a semi-rigid surface for the sensor to be placed on top of. The manual mentions this, and I think this is why people are getting false alarms. The manual recommends a wood board under the sensor, but I don't think you need to go that far. Our bassinet only has a thin layer of cardboard under the sensor (sensor is placed under mattress).

The device has a green LED that flashes every time a motion is detected (breathing or movement) so you know that it is functioning properly. It is extremely sensitive, the slightest of touches to the sensor pad will be detected. It has only alarmed when we forget to turn it off before removing our son from his bassinet. It will first emit a few sharp clicks as warning prior to alarming. This gives you a second or two to shut it off before it alarms possibly upsetting baby.

SIDS is extremely rare (~5/10,000) so this monitor can be viewed by some as unnecessary. However if you do have concerns about it, I would recommend this product to give you some slight peace of mind, and perhaps some extra sleep (I'm not quite sure what that word means anymore..)
I bought this for my new granddaughter hoping it would help my daughter get some worry-free sleep. It did that and more! First, I have to say that the shipping is super fast--FedEx, arrived 2 days after I placed the order. This product works exactly like described. I am a Mechanical Engineer, so I definitely put the monitor thru it's paces before I gave it my stamp of approval for my precious granddaughter. However, we have only used it in her bassinette (she's just now 6 weeks old), so I haven't tested it in her crib yet. It has worked flawlessly in her bassinette for the last 4 weeks.

My granddaughter would only sleep for 15 to 30 minutes at a time on her back, so we tried letting her sleep on her stomach. Now she sleeps wonderfully--2 to 3 hours straight for each nap during the day, and 5 to 6 hours straight at night. We would have been too nervous to let her sleep on her stomach if we didn't have this monitor. This monitor picks up that super-light breathing that newborns do when they are sleeping deeply. The alarm is loud and would definitely wake you up, but it's not obnoxious. We haven't had to change the batteries yet, so I don't know how long each set lasts. There is a battery level indicator on the monitor so you don't have to wonder if the battery is getting low.

This is a wonderful, quality product that I highly recommend for every parent of a new baby. It is worth every penny for the peace of mind it brings!
I had a very traumatic post delivery which causes me to worry a little more more than necessary. I wasn't able to sleep because of my fear of SIDS. I found this monitor and read the great reviews. I tried it out and I have to say it is wonderful (as long as you remember to turn it off for those middle of the night feedings). I tested it by putting something that weighed 10 pounds in it and the alarm triggered. My baby barely seems to move sometimes but it still picks up his breathing. I can finally sleep soundly again knowing the alarm will go off if he stops breathing.
Worth every penny for the piece of mid it brings. No false alarms and it really does pick up the slightest movements but does not pick our movements in the room. I am amazed I wasn't told about this monitor sooner. It is a must have!!!

This was the highlight of "Santa's" shipment. My son almost cried with excitement when he saw this. It is a VERY impressive looking toy, but it is so hard to transform, that Bumblebee has sat on a shelf as a display since December. The only crying my son was doing after he opened it was out of frustration. Out of curiosity, my husband put it together as "fast" as he could - 30 minutes. Seriously. I don't know who designed this for kids. I don't recommend this unless you are going to use it as a display like we did. It is very well made and neat looking though...
This toy is awesome but is not for a child to transform. Once you know the proper sequence on how to transform from a Camaro to Robot and vice versa it is very simple. My son who is 6 loves this toy but is unable to transform it properly by himself.
Don't waste your money on this. We purchased this toy for our son for Christmas. It is impossible for even my husband to transform it perfectly and therefore it does not work properly. It takes 20-25 minutes to transform and then it continually pops out if you play with it. We paid [...] so don't spend an additional [...] at the now generally advertised price of [...]. It's definitely not worth it.
I thought I was purchasing a remote controlled Transformer. My cousins little boy had one like that. This is very hard to transform and my son, who is six, is unable and not patient enough to do it. I had to visit a nephew in his late 20's who used to play with transformers and have him transform it into a car. I have strongly discouraged my son from trying to transform it again. It is rated for ages 5+ and over. I was ready to bury it in the garbage can and I was yelling at Santa Christmas morning. Very expensive toy to not be able to use.
The toy itself was great. It works well with a childs's dexterity. However, my grandson is 6years old, and pretty bright. When my husband had trouble transforming it, I started to worry. It seems to be very difficult to figure out. Perhaps it should come with a teenager to show the little ones how it works!!lol. All in all, he loves it.

I was very pleased with the price and the free shipping when I bought another figure. The figure itself is beautifully sculpted and includes 3 weapons and a display base.
Like the Hawkman DC UNIVERSE CLASSICS figure that came before her, the Hawkgirl figure is another great sculpt with the famous mace accessory as well as the Nth Metal spear she has! And like the Hawkman figure, the wingspan on Hawkgirl is incredible!

Overpriced for what it does, what it is. Cute and fun, but overpriced and not durable at all. This toy shouldn't be more than $12. My son played with it quite a bit for a few weeks until the head would no longer stay on the neck. He is, of course, no longer interested. Better your money is spent elsewhere. Certainly consider other vendors before doing business with Black Lightening. Black Lightening Sales would not honor a replacement of the same item or a credit at their store. Abuse of the internet sales process. Any storefront vendor would honor a replacement deal based on the functionality of their product.
Amazing how expensive this toy is getting. Very easy to operate, my 2.5 yr. old can do it. You can manipulate wall-E's eyes, fingers, and legs, very much like he moved in the movie. A great toy if you love the movie, or even if you haven't seen it. A+++ Toy!
I was very happy with this item. It more then lived up to the hype. The item even was shipped to my door much earlier then was estimated.
Okay, I was a bit dubious about this toy. My son asked for it for Christmas and was very clear about it, he would accept no substitutes. I tried to convince him that a talking Wall-e would be much better, but he was having none of it. This toy is called "Transforming Wall-e", but in no way should it be confused with a "Transformer". The purpose of his toy is to take your standard Wall-e and turn him into his cube shape. That's it, nothing else. Well let me tell you, my son loves this toy and it seems quite durable. Simple toy, simple fun. Can't go wrong with that.
This toy requires no batteries, no real instruction manual,no small parts to get lost or chocke on and easy to play with. It folds up to fit in a suitcase. It allows the child to image it's voice and the child has to create the game with the toy. I would recommend Transforming Wall-E to any one.

If you love bobble-heads and love Star Wars you'll love this. I don't think bobble-heads are for little children and I bought this for an adult who loved it.
I couldn't find this anywhere on the shelves in any of the stores, so I was really happy to see it listed here. It's a great gift and definitely worth giving or having.

...The posture. The Papo dinosaurs are known for extremely detailed figures reminiscent of the Jurassic Park models. This Tyrannosaurus is no exception. Astonishingly detailed, this model would have been on my collector's shelf in a heartbeat were it not for its horrible posture. Tyrannosaurus NEVER stood vertically. It stood with its body parallel to the ground. It, to me, looks like a surprisingly detailed cheap TOY. To someone who doesn't pay attention to detail and accuracy and only cares for looks, this would be a prized possession however, to people like me who collect figures that are not only detailed but ACCURATE this is not an accurate representation of the actual animal but a TOY. I am deeply disappointed Papo, really I am.

This toy is very realistic, almost Jurassic Park-ish in its color and look. To the untrained eye this is probably a great toy. However there is one major flaw that's very unsightly to me, its posture. A Tyrannosaurus NEVER stood like this, it stood with the body parallel to the ground with its tail acting as a counterbalance. This posture is the pre-1990s look, when scientists were very crude. So while most of Papo's dinosaurs are great, i do hope that they correct this error fast.
I bought this dinosaur for a friend. It is a very nice T-Rex, very well made and with great detail. It is not a toy for small kids to play, but rather a collectible item. I might buy one for myself as I really liked it =).
I have all of the Papo dinos-they are amazing in their detail and accuracy and I recommend them ALL-EXCEPT for the T-REX. This is a great dino replica, but T-REX never stood straight up, dragging it's tail on the ground. T-REX walked and ran with it's body parallel to the ground-the tail was a counterbalance to the front of the body. This error makes this Dino more of a toy than an accurate presentation of the animal and should definetly not be used in a classroom as a teaching aide. Hopefully, Papo will correct this in the future.
If you want an accurate T-REX, then one should get the Carnigie collection figure. The detail is good and the stance is dead bang accurate.

So it was christmas time and believe it or not all my 5-year-old son wanted was a t-rex, he has a lot of other dinosaurs that we have picked up for 1 or 2 or 3 dollars but this was the king of them all. It is a beautifully detailed action figure and it is perfect for the young dinosaur lover.
Papo dinosaurs are exquisite. They have articulated jaws that show their ferocious teeth. The Tyrannosaurus Rex is 6.50" tall, with very realistic detailing. It has an articulated jaw. It has a realistic gray-green color. Mix and match with other Papo dinosaurs
