we think when it says GBL, it might mean the color of the bakugan may vary.
other than that, my kids love it!! Must have for grandson. As adults we feel the 24dollars is kinda pricey for such a small toy, and the pieces are so small as to be easy to lose. Grandson does like the toy. The toy did arrtive in time frame (acrtually erlier than expected) and condition as promised. Would not be a good toy for smaller children and should not be left around "tasters" as parts are small and easy to get into a "taster' mouth. Bakugan battle brawlers are here. Answer the call to brawl and decide the fate of the galaxy. Magnetic marbles POP open into power Bakugan warrior action figures when they roll onto the real metal gate cards. Use strategy to place your metal gate cards as each card affects the battle differently. Master your shooting skills to roll your Bakugan into battle. (McCainPalinsupporter)
(Our Next President!)
(An item with obvious appeal. But as a caricature, it's a misfire.)
(Ridiculous - Let your kids go outside and play) I love my Barack Obama action figure. It's not a toy, it's an action figure you can believe in. I have him at my desk, he brings hope and inspiration to my cube. I LOVE this toy.....it has been run over with the lawn mower several times, our dog has pooped on it, AND we discarded it with the intrails of our latest hog kill. Be sure to take it with you on your next lie-fest, where I am sure it would feel right at home! I bought this for my children so they can share in a pivotal moment in this nation's history. They had the Barack doll sitting on the coffee table last night as we watched his historical speech. We were all proud, and the children enjoyed having the doll at least as much as they did watching the speech! Confession: I bought this within a few minutes of learning of it's existence. I think that reaction is fairly typical. It's definitely one of those items with a certain guaranteed "pre-sold" audience. I knew what I was getting, and as it was an impulse buy for sure, I wilfully brushed aside the number one issue that exists with this toy. It's an issue which will probably grow on you -- or come back to haunt you time and again -- the longer you have it.
The issue is the matter of likeness. The little guy is really hurting in that department. I don't know who they had sculpt this, but I have to venture that he was no name in the business. The figure merely "checks the box" in the most perfunctory manner by being male, recognizably dark-complected and wearing a suit. As a caricature of Barack Obama, it utterly fails. That's pretty harsh, but let's be honest: If the box didn't say "OBAMA, An Action Figure You Can Believe In", you could believe it was just about anybody else.
I don't want to plug any competing item too hard, but I'll just share this pertinent experience with prospective buyers of this product: Later the same day I ordered this, a friend who reads all the animation blogs pointed out to me that the creator of Ren and Stimpy has his own set of political caricatures coming out in a few weeks. THAT'S where I should have put my political figurine dollar. These figures aren't timid, generic, ersatz likenesses of the candidates, but sharp, savage, funny political caricature in the grand tradition.
This is the after thought figure that I'll set out at work, probably keeping it in the box so people know who it is supposed to be. The "conversation piece" factor is there, which may be all many people expect from something like this. But even given that this may have been rushed out by the toy company, I wish they had nailed a relishable caricature. Bottom line, I believe a funny likeness here would prompt a smile that would last; what we get instead is a brief chuckle at the simple fact that someone came up with the concept for a political candidate action figure. Indoctrinating children with your own political beliefs is a disservice. Stick with the Kennedy commemorative plates if you want a democrat souvenir but let's keep toys out of it. Children shouldn't be encouraged to play in the filth of politics. Like countless others out there, we've been inspired by the meteoric rise of Barack Obama and his campaign. In a time when America so desperately needed a hero, along came a man to show us a brand new vision of what America and the world could be in the 21st century. In many ways, Obama is the closest thing we've ever seen to a superhero... someone who has literally inspired millions of people simultaneously to step past fear, to be brave enough to hope and to go past cynicism and imagine what we could be if we were at our best. That's the stuff of legend! And Jailbreak Toys wanted to pitch in. So in that spirit, they created the Obama Action Figure, because every superhero should have one. 6 inches tall, 8 points of articulation, window boxed and made from phthalate-free PVC. An action figure you can believe in! Rerations < Barack Obama 6" Action Figure >

(Finally !)
(Best Figure of Series so far!)
(Halo 1 Elite!) Even though I just got this Elite Action Figure, I could already tell that the detail of the figure is just mind-blowing. It is obvious that there is a great deal of effort put into it. The helmet is removable. The shoulders and chest armor can also be removed. Take note that the pegs are small so you should be careful not to lose it. Lots of articulation. It is a very good action figure. I do suggest buying one of these. Oh yeah I dont seem to be able to find the hole on the figure's leg to put the weapon on. the best elite very good detaile. realy has duel gun you can take of the armor and helmet. this is a toy you can get to finsh the fight I agree with everything Jonpaul from Oregon says. This is the one we've all been waiting for - sculpting, details; everything is 100% on. A couple of specifics to add - While the Elite is more "poseable" than the Arbiter, he's still at about the same level as the Brutes. This means no "crouch jump," or total upper body articulation, but who cares... Also, the hands are fairly tailored for the enclosed plasma rifles, so certain weapons may prove awkward to hold. I noticed that each rifle's handle is curved to better accommodate its particular hand designation. Remove the pegs, grab a small tool for prying and apply some force. Both of mine proved pretty sturdy for the process.
All in all, a tremendous upgrade in comparison to other brands' Elites, and a sign of continuing quality from MacFarlane. Not a hint of disappointment. I recently purchased the Blue HALO 3 Elite and I must say it's the best figure so far. Extremely detailed, sturdy, stand well, and has cool weapons and armor! Also, I don't know if some know this or not but there is ANOTHER ELITE!!! It has a red / white multiplayer paint design with the same weapons, etc. But I think that will be a rare figure so make sure to look for some now before they disappear! This review is for a Blue "Combat Elite" from Series 3.
This guy looks just as good up close and in person as he does on the photo on this site. He comes with two Plasma rifles (Finally! A figure with two weapons!) and removable helmet, shoulders, and torso armor.
I bought him and the Arbiter figure on the same day, and this one is much nicer. The Arbiter seems to be the Halo 3/Halo 2 design of Elite. This Combat Elite has much bulkier arms and legs than the arbiter figure, and his head points straight forward instead of swooping down.
He reminds me a lot of the Elites from Halo 1. Back when they were your toughest opponents, instead of allies. He's worth the 13 bucks you can expect to pay. These highly detailed figures turn Halo fans into avid collectors. The third of its kind, this series showcases each of the major characters from Halo 3. Assemble them in a battle-ready line-up and finish the fight! Figures each measure approximately 6" tall. Collect them all. Rerations < Halo 3 Series 3 - Elite Combat Soldier >

(Cool kit....)
(Owning Lego 7888)
(Explosive Action)
(Cool Tumbler) It was very fun getting to live out some childhood fantasies in building the batmobile. It's very authentic to the recent films and looks great on my desk. This being my first Lego kit in about 20 years, I found it to be quite enjoyable to build. It's easy to assemble, has all relevant pieces for each stage of construction separated into four (...five?) different bags, and the instructions are laid out well and explained clearly. Both builds are sturdy and don't fall apart easily, though be aware that each model has a spring mechanism that fires a rocket a good distance and care should be taken around children.
My only nitpick with this set was a mis-colored piece in the instructions that led to some confusion and backtracking. Not a biggie, but it definitely led to some unnecessary frustration.
All in all though, this is a great set and one I'd recommend. Now on to the Millennium Falcon :)! Building the Tumbler and the Ice Cream van took me 2-3 hours. It was made easy with the bricks divided into separate numbered packs, which will help those who are much younger, or someone who have not worked on Lego for a while.
The Ice Cream van is a bit redundant since I only desire the Tumbler but having the Batman's arch nemesis, the Joker is a must.
To sum up, it was enjoyable experience since it has been 15 years or more since I last toyed with a Lego set. I would recommend to both the young and mature Lego fans.
Yes! I am an adult or kidult (whatever the term coined at present is) Lego collector. I bought The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise today, and I love it. The minifigures are detailed, and the vehicles are unique in design. The Joker's Ice Cream truck has a great colour scheme, the stickers are humorous, and the launcher works really well. The Tumbler is massive, with a creative frame and tons of detail that create a design true to the movies yet still fun to play with. Overall this is a great set. The Tumbler is awesome, but the ice cream truck is lame (good only for adding LEGO pieces to my collection). When The Joker hatches a wickedly funny scheme to sell Joker-gas ice cream to the citizens of Gotham City, it's up to Batman to put an end to the laughing lunatic's practical jokes and to put The Joker behind bars once and for all. Roar into action with the Tumbler, Batman's massive armored crime-fighting car straight from the movies. Fire the rockets--but look out! The Joker's ice cream truck packs a missile-sized surprise of its own. Includes Batman, The Joker, and Joker's Henchman minifigures. 449 pieces. customer 's review (Great toy, but the transformation from Autobot back to a car is quite difficult)
(its now what I expected)
(Good toy)
(Bumblebee rocks)
(Wow, a lot of stupid reviews here.) I am writing this review on behalf of my 9-1/2 year old son who simply loves Transformers. After saving up enough of his allowance money, he insisted on getting this particular Autobot Transformer.
He felt that the transformation from the Camaro concept car to Autobot was a piece of cake. The transformation back to Camaro concept car, however, was a different story.
The instructions were no help since they only showed how to transform from the car to Autobot (i.e. no reverse instructions). He eventually figured it out, and can now do it in about 3-5 minutes, but it was no walk in the park. After reading the other reviews, we definitely feel your pain. But don't lose hope. It can be done!! Once you've accomplished it, you feel like you can climb Mt. Everest. It's a real confidence builder, especially for young boys (and some old ones too). Below is some helpful advice:
1) The toy is built to be handled roughly (within reason), so don't be afraid to twist (by hand), push, and pull the various parts of the toy.
2) From Autobot mode, my son believes that the toy is easier to convert back to a car if you separate the top of the Autobot (torso up) from the bottom of the Autobot (pelvis down). Simply, pull them apart. The front of the car is definitely more challenging than the back, but after a while you'll get the hang of it.
3) If all else fails, go to www.youtube.com and type "Bumblebee Transformers, concept car". I thought of this after the fact, but this might be helpful to a few people out there who are at their wits' end. A couple of the videos are pretty informative and take you through the transformation process (step by step). Parents may want to preview the videos before their kids do. Some of the videos are more age appropriate than others.
Could our good friends at Hasbro have made the process easier (i.e. include a good set of reverse instructions)? You bet!! However, the challenge for my son was a lesson in patience, determination, and ultimately conquest. He didn't give up, even after dear old dad called it quits. I was proud of him.
LS I bought this product for my godson, well initially for my godson then found a bigger Bumblebee and bought it for him so i kept the smaller, which is this one, for myself. The car is small and does transform to Bumblebee (well somewhat) , but i guess i am too old for this toys since I cant figure out how to properly transform them to Bumblebee and back to car. This toy is very cool but the head keeps falling off! My kid has to be very careful when playing with it and is always worried that Bumblebee might lose his head! But it is cool though, we just need the bigger one now! This is a very nice Bumblebee. His robot mode looks quite nice and he comes with a plasma cannon that converts to a blade. He transforms into a yellow 2009 Chevrolet Camaro that sports black racing stripes. I personally love the vehicle mode. You should not pay more than $20 for Bumblebee, his retail price is ten dollars. Though I have not had durability issues the joints seem a little loose and the figure seems rather fragile, so I would not recommend for young or rough children. He looks great on the shelf in both robot and car mode. He has great articulation and can do several poses. He is overall a very nice figure and if you have a choice between 1974 camaro and 2009 camaro definitley pick the 2009 model. Interesting. Most of the transformer reviews seem to be from a somewhat informed collector's perspective. Most of these seem to be from people who bought this model for their five year old kid and who thought they were going to get Ultimate Bumblebee (who retails for 80 bucks) because the price was marked up. Ten seconds of research would have given them the information to avoid such a mistake, but these people feel justified in railing against Amazon for charging extra for a product in high demand.
I'd agree with anybody that they shouldn't be buying these new transformers for young children. They are for kids who are at least 10, and for adult collectors. And from an adult collector perspective, it's a superb toy. It does have a complicated transformation, and what you get is a toy that looks stunning in both modes. And while many of the transformers have done a respectable job imitating the vastly more complex movie models, this one takes first prize, moreso than what I've seen of Ultimate Bumblebee.
So yes, the toy is in high demand, and you should either expect to spend a long time tracking one down, as I did, or fork over the cash for the quick fix. I was lucky enough to find a re-issue at Target yesterday, stocked by the cash registers instead of in the toy aisle. And I paid 9.99 for it.
So I recommend less cry-baby behavior from dimwit parents and some sense in realizing who these models are really designed for and why they're in high demand. Blame the manufacturers for claiming they're for younger kids, blame yourselves for buying without thinking, but don't blame Amazon, fer chrissakes. Bumblebee could have cared less about his appearance. As long as his alternate mode kept him hidden, and protected his plasma cannon from the weather, he was content. But now, on Earth, he has found friendship for the first time in as long as he can remember, in the person of Sam Witwicky. At Sams urging, he scans a sweet new vehicle form. Now, hes still ready to fight to the end against the deceptions, but he sure hopes nothing too bad happens to his paint job. Convert this AUTOBOT figure from menacing robot mode to Camaro concept vehicle mode and back again. It features a cannon that converts to a blade in robot mode. This is one awesome figure for your collection. Rerations < Transformers Movie Deluxe Class Bumblebee 2008 Camaro >

customer 's review (Love These!)
(So glad they came out with these again!)
(Scooby-doo figures are fun!)
(Scooby Doo Gang)
(Shaggy is in pieces) First off let me say that I almost didn't order these because of the reviews that they smelled but I'm so glad I did. The set that arrived does not smell at all, not even the smallest bit. We got them for my daughters 3rd birthday and she loves them. They are very cute and seem to be built well. The scooby is super cute, he is double jointed and has a button on the back of his head that make his eyes pop out. I would highly recommend these if you have a child that likes scooby doo. I am so glad that they started making these again! My kids (ages 20 mos. to 9)have all loved Scooby Doo and we were very dissapointed when they stopped making the Scooby figurines. We had some of the old ones and made an expensive purchase of them off of ebay a few years ago for my 4 yr old son. They were not durable at all and the joints at the arms and legs broke often. These are very durable and very reasonably priced! My son loves these toys as do his siblings! We will be buying more from this series! Scooby-doo figures(2sets) are fun for my two grandson's imagination! They like the Scooby van too! Product is GREAT! Original shipment never received. However, when I contacted the seller, they sent another one the same day via UPS, which was received in 2 days. My son loves these toys, but to my surprise, I dropped Shaggy in a parking lot from about waist high (From the back of a stroller) and his torso split open, and all his limbs and his head flew off everywhere. I put all the pieces back together and five seconds later, he was in pieces again. I know the van is probably not the same manufacturer, but the doors have been coming off since day one. NOT a durable toy. Scooby-Doo Figure 5-Pack is a complete pack of figures, which includes the entire Mystery Inc. gang with Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne.
