(Not what you order) This one if you can get it for the good price is a really cool set. Don't look at the photo, it's not what it is. Other reviews will probably tell you what it has, but my kids didn't care, you get a massive amount of pets in one great package. That's all it matters. Quality is great, just like all LPS stuff. I looked all over for this thing at Christmas time and finally resorted to getting it online. She loved it, but I'm 40 years old and I can't see the entertainment value in it. I guess that's because I'm not a 9 year old little girl. I got this for my daughter who is 7 years old. She loves Littlest Pet Shop and if you also get some of the structure toy that come seperately the kids can have hours of fun. Strengthens their imagination, playtime, creativity. I great product that you can bring along on trips too. Littl My daughter (8 yrs.) received some Littlest Pet Shop toys for Christmas last year and they're the one thing she's played with pretty consistently throughout the year. I ordered her the ten pack for Christmas this year and she was tickled with it. No, we didn't receive the set pictured but it's not a big deal. I buy them for my kid to play with, not to collect. She was enchanted with the spider and chinchilla. I do have to admit - those suckers are cute. I highly recommend these for girls growing bored with Barbie! Thankfully my daughter loves LPS. She really wanted the pony and the seahorse, but I think in receiving the purple spider(that came in the pack we got)she put to the back of her mind that those 2 were not a part of what came. Lucky for her Santa brought her the Biggest Littlest Petshop that came with the seahorse and a few others she wanted. I think it's a cool toy with as many features as can be added to a whale, including the flapping fins when you roll it on the ground. My son really enjoys making his whale gobble up pirates, or anything else for that matter. He did wonder if all whales looked this scary, as the toy is a little scary. Note that this Transformer has been released a few times with different paint jobs - the one I own has blue wings and a face painted on the front mirroring the Clone Wars cartoon series. What I like about this one is that at first glance its difficult to tell how you make the robot from vehicle mode, since a large section of the body is hollow. The designers managed a neat trick by having various body parts tuck into one another or fold out. And despite the end robot being very top heavy, someone paid attention to the feet and the robot stands better than it has any right to. While I agree with the previous reviewer that some body parts do come off easily, this particular design is also a bit more forgiving in that the parts can snap right back on (compared to say, Boba Fett's arms from the Slave I design, which were a total pain). What I don't like about this particular design is that like some of the other Star Wars models, the wings and some other parts have little to do except hang at the back of the finished robot. Chalk it up to the odd body shapes of Star Wars vehicles, but you kinda wish more loose ends would fold away nicely. The instructions were also a bit hard to follow the first time, but that could just be me. Overall a Clone Trooper might not be the top character on everyone's buy list, but the transformation is certainly interesting enough to give it a try. One final note; for better or worse, the two gun turrets that become the robot's weapons are some of the best spring-loaded projectiles I've seen in a long time. The ones on other Star Wars Transformers tend to jam, but these babies fly like they're made in the 80s. Collectors rejoice, parents prepare your best "poke your eye out" speech. This is a fun toy. It converts from a Star Wars ship into a robot. The problem is that it falls apart EASILY. I haven't been able to transform this from one shape to the other without legs, wings, etc falling off and needing to be reattached. It would be much funner if kids could play with it without it falling apart. The Republic Gunship is ideal for battering dissembled squads of spindly Battle Droids with wide-swath incendiary rockets. Afterwards, once you take the hill, you break out the steaks and the barbeque pits. Still, in order to truly impress the competition, itâs best to have a Republic Gunship capable of transforming into a robot. In robot mode, the Republic Gunship features the distinctive Clone Trooper helmet design and a reconstitution of the cannons as dual handheld guns. Based in Repulsorlift technology, the Gunship features weapons such as mass-driver canons, anti-matter shower warheads and EMP rockets. There is no escape, if youâre one of the Droid infantry, as you look up suddenly, your optic receptors briefly registering the shape of your imminent doom. But true state of emergency has arrived only when the Gunship expectedly transformsinto a gigantic Clone Trooper robot. And while a Clone Trooper Transformer would present little or no challenge to the likes of Megatron or Shockwave, the survival rate of the average Battle Droid would be approximate to that of a pimento loaf sandwich in Jabbaâs throne room. (Great for creative play and for animal lovers) (Looks fun, don't underestimate the time to assemble it!) We bought this a few years ago when it was first out in the US. We also bought some extra zoo fencing from Playmobil. Although we have a few other Playmobil sets/themes, this zoo has the widest appeal. Although we do not always have the structure up, the kids will play with all the other animals, people and various accesories. The kids and their friends will gravitate to this set - including boys and girls from toddler to age 12, although the older kids play with it because the younger ones are playing. Since it has been so popular at our house, I have bought most of the additional animals (add-ons) from the Playmobil website since that is the only place I know where to buy them, and have purchased the penguin water zoo as well. All of these will be under the tree in a few weeks : - ) Well this WOULD be a great toy if they had assembled even some of it!!!! They did not even put the little lights together-imagine putting lenses on teensy little lights- 3 hours plus of assembly- get away from children and find a quiet spot to assemble this nightmare!! Also the instructions are pictorial only, the pieces are bagged completely randomly and related pieces could be separated into 4 different bags and are NOT numbered!! They should pay me for assembling this for them- NOT what I would expect from such an expensive toy. Every other Playmobil set we've bought has been completely or mostly assembled AAAARGH! My 4.5 year old received this for Christmas a year ago and still loves it! She gets it out regularly, sets it up, arranging all the fences and animals (we have extras), and creates her own zoo. This toy gets played with more than any other toys we own. There are a lot of small pieces and we have a place to store it where we don't have to take the main zoo apart for storage. It does take a while to initially set up, but then your child's imagination can take it over. Thank god I didn't put off opening the box until Christmas eve. I just spent the better part of 3 hours assembling all the "big" parts of this thing. My wife or the kids can do all the little stuff later. There are a ton of little fasteners that need to be assembled so don't expect to put this together with a kid climbing all over you wanting to get started playing. That complaint aside, it looks like this thing will be a blast for kids in the 4-6 year old range (and maybe beyond). Lots of little pieces though so watch it if you also have a baby in the house. It is difficult to sit the included knight on the dragon's back as shown in the picture. This did require adult help. All in all, my nephew loved it because it had the big wings and looked like fire was shooting out of its mouth. My 3.5yo son is very much into dragons and knights, etc. He absolutely loves this dragon. I think his favorite part is that it breathes fire. As with all Playmobil, there are many little pieces that are easy to get lost. We also have a younger son, so he is only allowed to play with this toy when his brother is napping. In particular, I have put away the swords for the figures until he gets older. They slip into a "holster" on the belt and it's easy for them to fall out when he's making the guy run around. Also, I don't think it's very easy for the guy to sit on the dragon. There doesn't really seem to be a place for him to naturally sit and stay on. However, none of these things bother my son. He loves it. These Playmobil toys have really helped him to continue to develop his imagination. It is just amazing to watch him learn every day through play! I think the age range on these toys is very appropriate. My 3.5yo has just reached the stage where playing with these toys is appropriate, both in terms of the little pieces and the developmental factor. Only the red dragon knights would be able to control the Playmobil Red Dragon! This fire-spitting Playmobil Red Dragon is shackled around his ankles, and also chained up around his neck by the dragon knight, complete with axe, that controls his every move. Perfect for scaring away enemy knights, the Playmobil Red Dragon helps protect the dragon castle, while also savaging other knights' castles!
