It seemed super cool as a car, but when I transformed it, IT was a little dissapointing. the Whole corvette part clunks up in the back, but it doesnt bother me since im more of a stop motion creator, and use things to hide it. after i transformed it back into a car, its leg thigh hits the ground, not letting any wheel touch the ground. its still really annoying, but thats what i get fo not looking at the instructions( or maybe not) hope this review helped!』
(H.A. Sideswipe) 『For this review, I will be looking at 4 things 1. vehicle mode- 2.robot mode- 3. transformation- 4. relations to the movie character- 5. the miniature that comes with him. 1. His vehicle mode is really nice. It has gullwing doors like on Lambos, painted break pads, the front lights are blue, the front grill is painted black, the Corvette insignia in the front is painted, and the exhoust is clear. The interior is not as good as BB's, but it is stil pretty good. VEHICLE mode-5/5 2. The robot is not as bad as people say but is not perfect. Legs look good and has a feel good transformation to it. Arms are good too. They don't look out of proportion, they look fitting. Now the torso, I know it looks like he is anorexic, but in reality, it doesn't look bad. Last is the back kibble. It looks okay?, but fortunately, it doesn't take much away from the figure unless you look at him from the back. ROBOT mode-4/5 3. Transformation is not very hard or educational. TRANSFORMATION-3 half/5 4. He looks not bad except for the back kibble. RELATE-3 half/5 5. Legs are too long, arms look fine, the head looks like a cartoon, and the torso is too short. MINATURE 3 half/5 OVERALL 4/5』
(Swiped) 『The Deluxe version of Sideswipe (Transformers Movie 2 Deluxe Sideswipe) is a good toy and pretty popular. The Human Alliance Version of Bumblebee (Transformers Movie 2 Human Alliance - Bumblebee with Sam) is awesome! So a Human Alliance version of Sideswipe should be pretty sweet. Let's check it out.
For Kids: The car, a Corvette concept, is still one of the coolest and sportiest cars in this line so getting a bigger version is great. There's lots more detail and the interior looks good for the mini-figure to sit in. I can see a kid having a great time with the car. The transformation, while not overly difficult, is dicey and a bit confusing and involves a lot of swinging hinges and levers. I see breakage as a real possibility without some care. Robot mode is hard to stand and under articulated but he does have a missile. I feel playability is impaired in robot mode and may frustrate a kid.
For Adults: Again, car mode is great. The Corvette emblem is painted and there are some neat details like the break calipers being painted red. The car has working gull wing doors that look really cool when open. He has nice looking seats and steering wheel inside. Much more of the body is actually molded in silver so paint chipping won't be a big issue.
Transforming him isn't too difficult but it involves several hinges and levers and a couple of actions that aren't too explicit in the directions (such as unhooking the pins of the levers under the doors before you flip his chest down). Nothing on him really moves smoothly or looks as cool as it may could. I'd describe his transformation as clunky.
And one word for robot mode is "disappointing". That's not to say that he doesn't look like Sideswipe, but he is a little off, too thin in the middle, too bulky in back. While the Deluxe version suffered from "robot stuffed in a car" syndrome a little it's really bad here. The entire hood and roof (seriously, from the front bumper all the way to the back one) as well as the doors are all housed on his back. The only part of the car that actually turns into the robot is the back fenders that become his chest. He doesn't transform as much as emerge and that entire car on his back makes him top and back heavy and hard to stand and he can't take any dynamic poses. Also, instead of the doors becoming the swords (which would take some of that weight off his back) he has flimsy rubbery swords instead that are permanently attached.
The hydraulics in his waist region severely limit his leg movement and in fact one popped out when I tried to tilt the leg down at an obvious hinge - a hinge you may not want to use since the hydraulics don't have any give. Even the deluxe had some slots so they could move a bit and on this much more expensive version I'd have expected that and more. His legs slide out to make him taller but tend to slide back in as you try to pose him and because of all that weight up top.
Some pros? He does have a shoulder gun and missile launcher and a place for Sgt. Epps to sit. And they fixed his feet from the deluxe version so that they are at least flat on the ground. He has an action feature where you can spin the tires on his arms and cause his swords to spin. Otherwise this robot form is very weak. I hate to compare to Bumblebee again but, well, there's really no comparison.
Nice car, bad robot. And if I'd just wanted a nice car I'd have just purchased a car.』
(Execellent, but overpriced) 『Wait for the price to drop down to [...] That is the price at the store (Target and Toys R Us). I didn't wait for the price of Jetfire to drop and ended up overspending by [...] It's a cool toy, but either buy at the store ofr wait a few weeks for the price to drop online.』 『When Sideswipe arrived on Earth, he was a raw, untrained fighter, used to battling alone and outnumbered. He was teamed with Epps so the tech sergeant could whip him into shape as an effective member of the strike team led by Ironhide. The two have become good friends. In combat, Epps combat hardened-instincts direct the speed and cunning of sideswipe with devastating effectiveness.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (One of the BEST.) 『This Hayabusa has one of the nicer paint jobs out there.... the way the black settles into the white is VERY cool and gives a very realistic look to the armor. Plus it's Hayabusa, which makes this one of the coolest figs available in years......
If you like the Hayabusa armor, consider playing Ninja Gaiden Black, Ninja Gaiden 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and the newly released NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA 2. I'm not big on PS3, but NG Sigma 2 RULES......
5 stars for the figure and for Ninja Gaiden, the game series.
Recommended!』
(Paint job? Not so good.) 『Well. It came sooner than the delivery estimate which is good. But when I saw it. The only flaw was the paint job. Sorta blackish in some areas. McFarlane, you need to watch your paint jobs. ASAP.』
(dissapointed) 『ok so i payed for 1 day shipping, it came in 4 days. and if that wasnt enough i got no refund. thats a dissapointment. the toys detail and quality was pretty good i guess. Not really what i was hoping but it was ok i guess. all and all i wasnt happy with this purchase』
(All good except one problem....) 『this halo spartan hayabusa is very good and looks very cool. The only problem is that who ever built tis thing messed up. They took a piece that was for right leg and used it on the left leg. Now he kind look disfigured dude..... I think that the factory should pay attention for messed up figures.』 『
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Got it LAST Christman (08) and it's still in perfect shape!!) 『I am usually skeptical about "action figured" and their quality, especially considering the price on some of them, but I got this for my 5 (now 6) y/o last year and it has stood the test of play and moving. It is still in perfect condition and my son actually had it out this evening playing with it (He likes the size too, it's bigger than most action figures). It's a great toy for any Incredible Hulk fan.』
(One of My Son's Favorites) 『Still going strong months after my son received this from Santa for Christmas- this is a sign of a good toy for us in this house where toys are often ignored after a few days and I feel like I've flushed my money down the drain. Great durabilty, stands up well ( he likes to line up his action figures), eyes light up and makes angry noises. Great toy!』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (desktop trebuchet) 『this was purchased for a physics project. It was easy to assemble and very accurate with is shots..』
(well manufactured and fun to build) 『The Desktop Trebuchet was purchased as a gift for my 14 year old son - an activity for the real world to pull him from the virtual one. The trebuchet is ingeniously manufactured. A single piece of wood has been machined with a numerically controlled router to leave all pieces attached by only a thin veneer. Separating the pieces is easy and the precision of the pieces made construction a breeze. It is a wooden kit and time is required for wood glue to dry, a foreign concept to the virtual generation. Simple tools like an X-acto knife, glue, drill, and a saw were used. Once assembled, the trebuchet works flawlessly and looks pretty cool. I see limited educational value, this is just for fun. Overall, a pretty good project and result.』 『Defend your desktop! The mere presence of this striking machine on your desk will induce fear and respect among your peers. Take charge and besiege your opponents with a fully functional, genuine trebuchet for your desk! It really works! It takes about two to four hours to assemble, which is a joy in itself with the hand selected wood and computer-controlled, precision cut parts. The professionally designed kit and fully detailed instructions - 10 pages of descriptions and tips, with of photos of every step - makes assembly a breeze. All you really need is some glue and a pair of scissors. For a more refined look, a little sandpaper and a small, round file would be helpful, but are entirely optional. Performance! This mighty desktop artillery is capable of hurling the wooden ball projectiles (included) over twenty feet! Just load-up the counterweight bucket with about 150 pennies and you』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Excellent) 『I bought this because I love the Human Alliance Bumblebee figure. As it turns out, the Human Alliance Skids figure is even better. The car mode is okay. It would be great, except that the doors don't have a way to lock into place when they are closed in car mode. Therefore, the doors may or may not align properly with the rest of the car, and can feel a little bit loose. I would rate the car mode a "9".
Where the figure really shines though, is in the robot mode. It is incredibly detailed, and extremely poseable. The transformation is really complicated, but also a lot of fun. After I transformed him the first time, it took a while for me to pose him in a way that I liked, but once I figured it out, it looks extremely good. I think overall, it actually looks better than the Human Alliance Bumblebee figure. The one thing I didn't like about the Human Alliance Bumblebee figure is that if you turn him around and look at him from the side, there is a huge gap in the middle. This isn't the case with Skids. One thing that people don't like about this figure is that it has door wings, while the CGI didn't. Initially it bothered me, but now that I'm used to it, it doesn't bother me at all. I rate the robot mode a "10".
The Arcee motorcycle figure looks like crap in robot mode, so I just keep it in the motorcycle mode, which is actually decent. The Mikaela figure is okay. I think it's about the best that can be done, giving how small it is. It is extremely poseable though, and it does complement the Sam figure nicely. In any case, you're probably just getting the set for the Skids figure anyway, and the Skids figure, as I said, is excellent!
I recommend this purchase!』 『robot-to-vehicle figure converts from CORVETTE® STRINGRAYTM concept mode to robot mode and back again! It is something a "South Park" fan would appreciate but also can be enjoyed by others who aren't familiar.
The only thing I wish is that he would have other phrases. When taken out of the box, he did say "Son of a Biscuit" quite a few times until he was 'settled' and not bobbling.
Cute and a good way to get a smile when having a rough day.』
(Talking Butters Wobbler Review) 『This is a fantastic toy, and well worth the purchase. Butters says "Son of a Biscuit!" whenever he's wobbled =).
Good: Its really durable, having survived the baggage handling of an international flight (I kept it in the box it came in, just to be safe). The toy looks really cool, and feels good to handle, since it isn't one of those GI-Joe sized playthings. This is about as big as a large coffee mug.
Not so good: I found that Butters does go nuts and say "Son of a Biscuit" way too many times if you wobble him just a little, but it's not really a problem. A largely immobile object (bookshelf/heavy desk) is the best home for him; small pokes can be used to get him to speak.
Overall: If you're a South Park, and especially a Butters fan, I definitely recommend this product =).』
(Great, but a bit sensitive) 『This Talking Butters is great for all the Butters fans out there. My Butters arrived dressed in his usual blue outfit, not in the pajamas pictured. When he bobbles, he says "Son of a Biscuit!", which is fun, but also the one downside to the toy. It's VERY sensitive. Sometimes one touch to get his head bobbling results in three "Son of a Biscuit"s in rapid succession. A great toy for South Park fans, just don't keep him on a desk if it tends to wobble.』 『Take a trip down to South Park with these 6' talking bobbleheads of characters from the long-running Comedy Central series! The bobblehead says three Spock lines: "Live Long and Prosper," "Fascinating," and "Obviously, you are completely irrational." It's a great pieve of work with some fine detail. The arms move, but you won;t EVER care about this.
The only downside to this tow is that it's motion sensitive. The slightest movement will trigger the audio. I made the mistake of placing it on top of my DvD player. Just be aware that, like Spock, it talks and talks and talks.
