My son loves Wall-e and Eve. Eve came with a light bulb and plant. The light bulb is difficult to stay on her arm. When you put the plant inside and try to close it up, it doesn't seem to want to close correctly. Overall, not very well made, but my son loves it- so I can't complain too much:)
If your child is crazy about WALL-E, this is a very fun item to have. It is durable, the parts (even the doors of Eve's tummy, pop on and off like old fashioned pop-beads. It is varied in what can be done with it, ie. press head to get 6 different eye expressions, pop open the tummy and take out the plant, attach the lightbulb to her hand, attach the lazer arm and pretend to blast the rock that pops off it's base when you press the button. Just a couple little drawbacks: the rock that "blasts" off is a little hard for a 3.5 year old to work, and it doesn't go far; and the button in the back of Eve that opens her tummy is awkward for a small child to work while holding EVE because she is small and it is difficult to hold her in a way that the child's hand is not in the way of the "doors" in her tummy. No batteries is a plus; overall a good value. My grandson really enjoys playing with it.
This toy is not durable. The door compartments fall off too easily and the doors after time become loose. The head stops being able to change from the many different expressions. The light bulb does not stay in the compartment.
I recently purchased the Search and Protect Eve toy from a Disney Store while visiting Michigan. I saved the unpackaging until I got home so nothing would go missing. After opening it I found that all the components are just fine. The shoe fits in Eve's belly (though you have to fumble a little to find out how), the lightbulb fits snuggly on her hand, and the rock is a cute addition but only if you get the Wall-E figure as well. I love the ability to change her expressions with a push of the head, right now she's holding her little lightbulb over my laptop and smiling gleefully at me. This is definitely a cute addition to a desk, but I don't see kiddos getting much play out of it without a wall-e. If you're going solo toy for a kid, get a higher-class model like the interactive Eve. If you want a wonderful addition to a desk that will make you cheer up immediately when you see it, buy Search and Protect Eve..then click her eyes to the incredibly happy and try not to smile. I love Eve. :)
The toy matches its description offered online. My children love to play with it as it changes eye expressions by tapping the head and really does resemble the "Eve" from the movie. However, the removable parts (arms) can be pulled off with little to moderate force, the doors to place the shoe-plant accessory pull off as well with little to moderate force, and if the head is pressed too strongly, the eye expressions may be stuck to one type until you press it at different angles. I wouldn't recommend giving this toy to small children (under age 4) due to the potential loose parts. Otherwise, it is fun to look at and resembles the movie character quite nicely.

Here is another great plastic rendering of a classic DC hero. Mattel has done almost no wrong with this line and this figure is no exception. He has a great but simple paint job which has been a touchy point in the past with this line but the one I got does not have a line out of place. He comes with an Uzi, rifle and a revolver which fits in his working holster! He also sport's a decent amount of articulation without getting in the way of the character's look. Bottom line is if you are a fan of this character you will want to own this figure hands down! If you just appreciate a simple but greatly made figure you will like this as well.

This toy looks cool.

Forget about actually playing with it, though. In both robot and truck mode it is "sloppy" and doesn't hold its shape well. There are numerous small pieces that pop off very easily. It takes several minutes to transform, and some of the connections don't fit together well. My son quickly became frustrated and now it is just a decoration in his room that we occasionally switch between robot and truck modes.

I gave it 5 stars for educational value because it's good for kids to learn that not all things are made well.

This guy was my third transformer. After a while the missles have trouble staying in the cannons. The trick to making him stand up is that his feet unfold more than they seem to. This guy serves his purpose as audobot leader.
Three words:OPTIMUS PRIME ROCKS!!!I don't understand why this guy gets bad reviews because he is awesome!His truck mode is amazingly movie accurate,although there is a mechanism that pops a little man in the window to look like a truck driver which I eventually had to superglue in,but other than that this guy has an excellent truck mode.He also has a simple and cool transformation which leaves one awesome looking robot.In robot mode he has two guns which fire two missiles,as well as fully posable arms and legs.My only problem with his robot mode is the mechanism that holds his knees together eventually becomes loose and his knees seperate,but if display only is your game you won't have that problem.Don't listen to these bad reviews.This is a great Optimus Prime that fans young and old will love.
First, I want to make a note about the price of this item. This figure retails at about $19.99. As of the time of this writing (January 2009) it is priced at about $37.00 here at amazon, which is a bit much. I'm positive I've seen these going for the $19.99 price at Wal-Mart, so I'd recommend checking out the local shops first before buying here.
Now as for the actual product...
I had wanted a figure of this character from the movie, and was considering the Leader class, but didn't feel like forking out the $40 or $50 it cost at the time. However, this figure is a good substitution. Compared to it's larger counterpart, it looks slimmer and sleeker, and not so bulky, although the larger is packed with more features and is definitely more complex.
Not that this figure is not complex. It has given some people trouble (as some reviewers give it a pretty low rating due to their inability to transform it). So if you want to pick one up, you should be prepared. If you're not used to Transformers, this may not be a good choice, whether as an adult or child. I also wouldn't recommend him for smaller, younger children.
Anyway, they did a pretty good job of approximating what the character looks like in both modes, and the transformation process was a decent challenge for me (but I'm used to Transformers). He also features the "automorph" ability, which means if you move one part, another part moves in place by itself. This feature is confined mostly to the lower leg sections, and one has to remember not to hold on to certain pieces while using it.
He features a good deal of possibility, with bendable arms, legs, knees and elbows, and also comes with two missile launchers. Maybe it's just mine, but the launchers are a bit loose, meaning they fire when not intended to. All in all, I'd say a pretty good figure. Also, he's scaled more accurately to most of the other deluxe and Voyager class figures of the line. But like most figures, a little time will probably be needed to convert him.
I got this for my son based ont he review here that said that this toy was pretty durable. THIS TOY IS NOT DURABLE. We opened the package and two plastic pieces immediately fell off. Then as my son was playing with it about 5 more pieces of plastic fell off. There are so many panels that are spring loaded that are held on by weak plastic hinges that will just fall off.
I should have known that this was junk when I saw this toy in the store with a bunch of clear rubber bands holding it together. I find it crazy that they have to use rubber bands to help this thing keep it's shape. Could you imagine buying a used car with a rubber band holding the door closed?
When are we going to stop buying this plastic junk from China and force them to make higher quality stuff?

On the TV show, Tigrerra is the "guardian" Bakugan for the character Runo, so fans of Runo will take special pleasure in playing with Tigrerra. But even children who don't watch the show can get excited about the Tigrerra figurine, who can rear up to display her formidable claws or stalk her prey on all fours.

No Rules, Just Fun
No assembly is required for this figurine--just cut it free from the box and it's ready to go! Unlike the Bakugan Battle Brawlers game, which has somewhat complicated rules, this monster figurine can be used however your child likes. If your child is a fan of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers game, he can position Tigrerra and other figurines around the game play area just for fun. If your child doesn't own the game, he can easily make up his own games to play with the monsters.

Chunky and sturdy, this figurine doesn't exactly fit in a pocket, but it is still lightweight and easy to take to a friend's house. Tigrerra comes with a detachable tail.

Hours of Monstrous Entertainment
Tigrerra's entire body is a "gigantic blade," and she has four powerful legs that can be positioned in a variety of ways. Her black and yellow markings and the knifelike spines on her back contribute to her terrifying appearance. We really like the way that Tigrerra can stand on all fours or on her two back legs alone. Her legs also stretch easily in opposite directions to make her look as if she's running at top speed.

We would have liked to see some background information about Dragonoid included on or in the box, but there was none. Kids who are familiar with the TV show will know all about Tigrerra already, but others will have to make up their own stories about him or do some sleuthing on the Bakugan Web site. Luckily, kids have great imaginations, and we think this lighting-fast predator will inspire hours of entertainment--especially when used with other deluxe monster figurines.

Though the paint job isn't the greatest but, this is perfect for any L fan. It's super cute! It's head is really heavy so don't expect much of it standing up straight, even with the stand. The faces are adorable and his hand with the cell is super cute! This is a great product and I recommend

This is very very cute. It came new and ready to bring a smile on any face. The only small note I should add about it is that his head is very heavy and you have to be very carful changing the faces (as I did happen to break one of the neck things that holds it to the body). Over all, it is a very awesome gift for any L fan!
I've ordered both Light's and L's PVC figures, both came in good condition, in their original box. Looked very cute and awesome.

I would recommend those figures for any Deathnote/anime fan or giving it as birthday gift for a Deathnote fan. :D
This is an excellent figurine, but the head can be annoying when you want to change faces, and the standing figure even with the holder is difficult to keep upright. I have considered using superglue to keep the feet of the standing body in place, but haven't been sure enough to do it yet. Be ready for a VERY heavy head and occasional shouting at it. Also--the seated figure cannot use the cell phone arm. It's worth it in the end, though.
This L nendoroid is great! Why? Because unlike your average action figure, you can change his facial expressions&poses so that it's almost like getting several figures in one. He has 4 different facial expressions, he can sit in his red chair or stand&he can also hold his fave cell phone. It's totally cute! I usually change his moods to fit mine--like my own action figure mood ring.

This whole series of dinosaurs have been a perfect present for all three of my grandsons....and we adults love playing with them as well!!
Granted it's not a dinosaur, but my little boy seems to love it just the same. He was always drawn to it in the store, so I knew it was a sure thing before I ordered it. I think a dinosaur would be a smarter purchase for someone who is unsure whether the child would like it, but if the child also likes safari animals (think elephants) it's probably a safe purchase. We have no problems with the push button or the sound mechanism on this toy as another reviewer did, but I have had that problem with one of the dinosaurs in the collection so I'm sure there are some faulty ones out there. Overall, we're completely satisfied with the mammoth and glad to have purchased it.
For my 4 year old nephew, this was one of those toys that caused every other Christmas gift to sit in the corner.
My 2yr old got this one and another Imaginext Dinosaur for Christmas and this one is by far his favorite. He loves attaching the cart to the Mammoth and moving them around.

The reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the button to push down on to make the noise is not real easy. When you think it's pushed down all the way, you have to push a little harder to get it to make noise. Also, like the last reviewer I think the wooly hair is going to attract dirt and not stay very clean. But overall the toy is fun and very durable.

My 11 year old daughter loves aerial and this is an excellent toy for her; she loves this toy.
From the magic and wonder that is only Disney, the character figures are King Triton of Atlantica (with his removable Trident), Princess Ariel, Prince Eric, Sebastian (the Ariel's crustaceous tutor and the King's advisor), Flounder (Ariel's best fish friend), Scuttle the Seagull, and Max the Prince's sheepdog. Pros: Very well crafted, solid figure. Squall is one of the best looking sculpts from the Play arts line. He has a unique ball jointed ankle design.

Cons: The Squall I got has ankle joints that are a bit loose but he still stands up easily on his own. He occasionally falls down from time to time. This can only happen if you don't use the stand.
Wonderful display figure for FINAL FANTASY 8's Squall Leonhart. He's my personal favorite out of all the heroes, and is excellently crafted here. Sculpt is very good, and the jacket looks perfect. The Gunblade has a very sharp point, so this is not for play or for kids.
I am a huge FF8 since the game first came out. Squall is my favorite character of all the FF series and this figure captures everything about the character. The detail is better than that seen in the photos and articulation is great. The weapon's detail is a good as the figure's not only having the detailed inscribing on the blade, but even the chain and necklace are wonderful. I collected many of the marvel legend figures of comic style X-Men and the forms are excellent, but nothing compared to the life brought forth in these products. A must buy in my opinion.
The figure is sculpted well and the paint is nice, it's a worthy purchase all in all, but the shoulders only move up and down which is bothersome
