So I knew that when Power Rangers RPM drew me back in, this was clearly something special. Not only did I like the show, I was interested in buying a Megazord. (Hadn't done so since 1997.)
Here's a tip for all the money saving Moms and Dads out there: Go to toy store with the giraffe. (You know which one I'm talking about. T. R. U.) Right now they have a deal where you get this Megazord (High Octane) and the Velocimax Megazord (with special edition chrome detailing!) in a special 2-Pack, for the low, low price of [...] If bought separately, it could easily cost you [...] or more, plus you won't get the special edition chrome.
Onto the review....
The High Octane Megazord is:
-Silly. -Simplistic. -Gimmickless. -Colorful.
And those are all good things. Great, even. The colors stand out, the silliness reminds you that it's a toy to have FUN with. Have FUN with your toys! (If you notice, I only gave this one star for educational value, but here's the thing...it's not supposed to be educational! It's supposed to be fun, and that's exactly what it accomplishes!)
I bought it as a display piece for my collection, yet find myself unable to put it down. I keep changing the Zords back and back, and so on, for long periods of time, and all with a smile on my face. It truly is that much fun. Plus, if you buy some of the figures, and some of the role play accessories (like the Morphers, etc.) They each come with an Engine Cell Key, which can be used with each of the Zords!
And that's not all. Not only will these three Zords combine to create a Megazord, but if you buy the other three Megazords (and each of those three have three Zords per package), you and your kids can combine all 12 Zords into one giant robot called the RPM Ultrazord. And at $20-25.00 a piece for each of the Megazords, that's incredibly affordable.
No electronic gimmicks, so no worrying about needing batteries. No sharp edges, just smooth, silly lines and contours. No metal content, so no heavy or dangerous weight.
The High Octane Megazord is a fun and entertaining robot, and once the other Megazords become available (this Fall/Christmas), you could spend countless hours having good ol' fashioned fun. And affordably.
I highly recommend this item, especially at the current prices. Collectors will enjoy it, your kids will enjoy it, and before you know it, you might even have some fun with it too.』
(Megazord megahit with twin boys!) 『Received the megazord as a birthday gift. My 6 year old twins love it! The "morphing" is easy to accomplish and the 3 cars it turns into also work. There are a few small pieces that are hard to keep track of, but in my opinion this is much better than previous megazords from Jungle Fury and the like. This thing kept my kids occupied for 4+ hours on a car trip (and they even shared!!). Great product!』
(High octane megazord) 『I buy the megazords for my son. He likes them and if he wants one that has come out, and he doesn't have, we will use them as a reward for getting good grades, behaving etc.

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Not durable for a child) 『My 5 and 3 year old LOVE the toy but the head broke off in the first 15 minutes of receiving the toy.』
(An Agent of Chaos of your own.) 『Pros:
Well sculpted overall Decent articulation Good paint job from the neck down The only Movie Master to get a real accessory - his knife Easily the best Crime Scene Evidence extra It's the Joker!
Cons:
The weird neck The paint job from the neck up leaves a little to be desired (but is easily customized) Nearly impossible to find in stores (Luckily Amazon is a huge help)
Hello, and welcome to my review of the Movie Masters Joker. I won't even mention Ledger's excellent performance (which would be redundant at this point) or the rarity of this figure, I'll just get down to the nitty-gritty.
Overall, the sculpting is quite good. His clothes, from his gloves to his coat to his shoes, look great and are for the most part very accurate to the movie. You could rag on his shirt underneath the vest (it's the wrong color), but c'mon.
His clothes look great, but that wouldn't mean anything if he was lousy from the neck up. However, once again Joker delivers in the sculpt department. The hair looks good and while it's not a perfect Heath Ledger, it's at least a decent likeness. His Glasgow grin isn't entirely screen-accurate (The cuts here are a lot cleaner, whereas the movie Joker has a truly grotesque look with some serious Keloid damage), but I'm sure that's because they only had early photos and very limited reference material to work with, and did the best they could. As it is, he looks good, especially for this scale.
In fact there's only one bone I have to pick with the sculpt: The neck. In an attempt to capture the "looking at you through his brows" look (I call it the Kubrick Stare because...well, just watch Vincent D'Onofrio's performance in Full Metal Jacket), Joker has a bit of a hunch, with his head pointed down - even when it's tilted back as far as it can go, he still looks like he's prepping for a golf shot. It's not like he's Quasimodo, not at all, and in certain poses he looks great. But the neck is sculpted with a twist, so if you pose it level, it's still tilted off to the side, meaning you can't have him looking straight ahead without him looking weird. Why did they do this? I have no idea.
Paintwise, from the neck down everything looks excellent, from the deep purples of his coat to the green of his vest. Like I mentioned earlier his shirt's in the wrong color, but even it looks great. But things aren't as great from the neck up. The facepaint frankly leaves a lot to be desired. (Remember that this just applies to the figure I got, and the one you'll end up with may be different). The face is mostly a flat white, and with no real wash he loses some of his detail. The smile mostly fares a little better, but for some reason there's this huge red line running up to his nose (I've seen this on literally every Joker I've seen in person), making it look as if he's got a scare there, too. And the raccoon look of his eyes isn't nearly as dark as in the movie, and doesn't let the eyes "pop out" as they should. I know they're working in a six-inch scale and may not have had much to work with, but if the makeup artist had done this bad a job, he'd have been fired. However, the eyes are great and look appropriately haunted.
Fret not, because the issues I have with the makeup can be easily fixed. I took a little (not too much) white acrylic paint and covered up that red line, but I didn't trust my skill with a brush enough to use it around his eyes. Instead, I used a simple black ink pen - and it worked! I wouldn't touch the ink after applying it (it'll smudge), but it looks so much better. A lackluster paint job can become a great one, if you have the right materials.
Easily the most controversial feature of the Movie Masters is that, in lieu of any accessories, they're packaged with "crime scene evidence", which is generally a doodad in a tiny plastic bag which doesn't look bad, but is in the long run rather useless and makes you wish that Batman came with some batarangs or even a Bruce Wayne head (no one likes Chases anyway) instead. But Joker's is easily the best on the bunch: It's a...well, it's a joker. Like the card Gordon showed Batman at the ending of Batman Begins, or the many Joker cards seen throughout The Dark Knight. Not only does Joker look good standing on it as sort of a base, but it will also come in handy if you're making a Joker costume. Or you could just put it in your grandma's Rook game for kicks.
When you're looking at your Joker in the box, look closely at his left hand. You'll see that he's holding a knife. A real accessory? In a Movie Masters figure? Yes, it's true! While a bit too "soft" and easily bent (to avoid a safety hazard, I'm sure), this knife adds so much in terms of potential poses and playability. Be warned that it's *tiny*, so make sure you don't lose it. If you were to give Joker to your average little kid, it'd be gone in a heartbeat.
Throughout this whole review, I've probably been a little nitpicky: The neck's crooked, the facepaint's bad, blahblahblahblahblah... you may get the feeling that I don't like this figure. You'd be wrong! If you're a fan and want to get this guy, don't hesitate for a minute. He's an overall solid figure, and is your only real option for a Heath Ledger Joker at this scale (and price range)...unless you like the weird, cartoony 5 inch version, that is. And my biggest complaint - the rather lousy face paint - can be easily and quickly fixed. And as of this review, he can finally be grabbed up for a halfway decent price online, which is really your best bet in owning one.
Things to watch for - just make sure not to move his legs forward too high...you'll make an unsightly dent where the joint and torso meet in a rather visible area. Other than that, you should be fine.』
(dumb) 『I dont actually own this, my friend does. I own the 1:6 Scale Collector Figure by DC Comics which is currently around [...] bucks and definately worth it. I cant believe since they were taking this toy off shelves that certain companies tried to profit and say this was a collectible, now look, it's worth 7 bucks. To the people that actually paid over a [...] bucks or even 30 or more, thats gotta hurt.』
(Wonderful gift) 『When requesting a Christmas list for my grandsons I was told that this was one of the items that couldn't be found and would be the best gift I could get for the one child. Amazon came through and thanks to them I am now the "Grandma with the mostest" in my grandson's eyes. Upon receipt this toy appeared to be very sturdy and well made for play by an 8 year old.』
(Batman: The Dark Knight - The Joker with Crime Scene Evidence) 『The product shipped very fast from Amazon. When it arrived it was in great shape. I have loved Batman since I was a kid of course it was Adam West and the Superfriends back then. Batman has just gotten better since then with the movies and Batman the animated series. The detail of this product is great it has very quickly became collectible because of Heath Ledgers great performance in the movie. Because of her young age, I got her this model, which is recommended for young children. However, it is only a toy. You can't really see anything clearly through the viewfinder. Very disappointing. I will buy a different model to give to her so her enthusiasm won't be spoiled by frustration.Safari LTD Telescope』
(Junk) 『I bought this for my 4-year-old daughter, thinking it would be a great companion to her Dora entertainment. The problem is that you can't see a thing with this. The view is very blurry and it is not durable. Within a few days, the smaller lens came loose and it is now shaking around inside the telescope. What a disappointment!』

If hasbro is going to make these things so intricate to transform , then they need to have a more detailed instruction sheet and images for transforming into all modes. NO SIMPLY REVERSING THE ORDER AT THE LAST STEP!!!! I WOUND UP THROWING IT ACROSS THE ROOM AND BREAKING IT. ITS GOING BACK TO THE STORE FOR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE!!!!!』
(So far, one of the best movie constructicons released) 『Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Voyager Mixmaster is a mix of sorts: It's a GREAT toy... but it's not big!
PROs: -Alt (truck) mode is very solid and has a lot of detail like clear plastic headlights and windows, separately molded window mirrors (not even big Leader Optimus has his mirrors made as separate pieces from the doors), lots of molded-in detail and the already mentioned moveable pouring scoop. Proportions are very good also. -Paint application is scarce but really there was not much to paint in the first place. It's limited to the silver on the wheels, decepticon insignia on the hood and the mixing drum, plus the big purple decepticon insignia on the drum. Also the red-white stripes on the sides are a nice touch. -Robot mode is very accurate to the concept art (I've posted a comparison picture), but even better is the wide range of articulation that this toy has. Each arm alone has about 7 points of articulation! The cannon can be placed either on its back or on top of its head to recreate the final battle scenes (or at least his final battle scene).
CONs: - This toy is from a Voyager line, and therefore supposed to be bigger, like Ratchet or Ironhide. But it's small... - Some joints are a little bit loose. The toy won't fall apart, but will need some support to hold some poses (in my pictures, the arms are being supported by its knees!). The panels on its feet are designed to fall apart instead of break, and will do so very frequently. - "Kibble" is present in the form of the whole cab forming the robot's buttocks. - I didn't even bother with the "third mode". It doesn't appear in the movie and looks silly. - This is my fourth transformer toy (and the third one from the movies) that has been assembled wrong IN THE FACTORY. Usually the problem is hard to see, like a little piece or joint put backwards. - The instruction sheet has the arrows poiting the wrong way in one step of the arms transformation. You can find some videos on the web that will help much more.
So, between the three currently released constructicons - Voyager Demolishor (who's got Scavenger's colors, by the way), Deluxe Rampage and Voyager Mixmaster, this one is THE BEST and the one I would recommend.
(Note that at this time, Long Haul is still a future release and there's no word about Scrapper)
Demolishor and Rampage are very hard to pose. The first one has one big wheel instead of feet and the second is a monopod. Mixmaster then gets two feet up! (Just because he's got no thumbs)』
(Contructicons....unite!!) 『I have been, and always will be a fan of G1 contructicons. Mixmaster being one of the better looking ones in my opinion. This ROTF version of Mixmaster is pretty cool. It Mixing Truck mode, it is a durable, fun, and awesome looking toy. The detail isn't bad. I wasn't expecting to be able to pose and direct things such as the cement pouring scoops. Transforming him, - whether it be into or from robot mode - , can be very frustrating. It's not too difficult, just annoyingly confusing the first few tries at it. For some reason, as many other characters that originally were not ; Mixmaster is a triple changer. Robot, vehicle, and battle modes. Battle mode seems kind of hoaky. Uselessly familiar to some battle droid or something. Vehicle mode is the best overall. Mixmaster is surprisingly durable for how fragile he looks, especially in robot mode. His color scene works well, but has some short comings. Such as the head. Somne G1 has leaked into him; purple tinted windows. I wonder how good he might look with the G1 green as well.』 『Resident Chemist and Explosives Expert for Elite among the Decepticons, Mixmaster has spent his entire life learning all there is to know about chemical interaction. He can make thousands of poisons, explosives and deadly gasses from the materials around him. The other Decepticons rely on him to fashion powerful warheads for their missiles, and dangerous venoms in which to coat their blades.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A great collectible for Star Wars fans) 『This is a great toy for kids because it's durable, as well as for adults, because it's well-made with a lot of details. A great collectible for your Star Wars collection!』
(wow) 『the best vader ever i hate the others like lava vader and red carded vader this has a tiny bit of flaws like it cant move its elbow and knees ya and just like that other guy said "its bascicaly already poesed" well you got to addmit he is right.』
(Nice collectible) 『Star Wars fans will certainly want to add this to their collections but it could have been so much better. It isn't poseable enough and how much trouble would it have been to add Vader's signature hissy breathing? I agree with the critic who said not to pay more than ten bucks for it. Six or seven at most.』
(Another so-so vader figure) 『There have been many great Vader figures in the past, this Vader is good but it's not much compared to it's predecessors. This guy is overrated due to it's rarity since fans love Darth vader. It's not as good as you might have expected. First of all it lacks articulation all you can move are his arm, legs and head. This vader is basically already preposed, since you can't clench in one of his hands and you have to move one of the legs back for it to stand.Other than these problems this figure has a nice sculpt, an okay feature and a very nice cape. These figures are very popular so grab one when you get the chance, but it's not worth paying more than $10 for it.』
(Great Darth Vader Figure) 『This figure is one of the best Darth Vader figures.I think this toy is great because the design of the figure is pretty cool. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Sun Commander is a Star!) 『The Planet Heroes line is fantastic for play and for light-hearted education / planet recognition. My three year old nephew loves the Sun Commander because he is big, easy to manipulate for tiny hands, happy-looking, brightly colored, and strong-looking--with "sun muscles!" (I suppose if one is the center of the entire solar system, one has to be a sturdy fellow!) LOL It's a great bonus that Sun Commander flashes a bright light and comes with a cool, "pet" phoenix that can removed and moved!
With his big feet, Sun Commander can stand independently on tables or floors, which can make for interesting play and arrangements. The sun facts card is also a nice add-on for a quick teaching moment before adventure calls.
He's quite larger than the other heroes, so he doesn't fit in the space ship accessory that is available for purchase. But hey, he is the sun, so maybe he doesn't need a ship to fly....at least that is our story, and we are sticking to it! :)
This toy has been a star at family time...a great product, worth the purchase.』
