『Your figures need a great ride! The Mongoose is built to scale with the standard 5-inch Halo figures, and this set even includes one! This amazing vehicle comes with a nifty Spartan Soldier Mark V expertly trained in the skills of a pilot. Together, they're going to smash some Flood forces and probably have a good time doing it.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Killer Toy!!!) 『This pair of fellas come armed to the gills! Be careful, can pose a hazard for young children with all the sword items.』
(Gi Joe Ninja Showdown Value Pack) 『This was a gift for my nephew. It was delivered a few days earlier than expected. For that, I was pleaded. The delivery box was very well sealed. Inside, the package was packed securely preventing movement. The toys were unopened and in their orgriginal box. There wasn't any evidence of tampering. I didn't video tape the pacckage. My nephew was thrilled beyond belief and tore into his gift. I found the item reasonably priced, but the postal rates a little high. This is the first time that I ever ordered anything on-line and this purchase was a very positive experience. If you or a love one is a GI Joe fan as I am, you will love this item.
』
(great action figures for the cost) 『I got these to do some stop animation projects. They are very stable with good solid articulations. And there are a lot of articulations. I was very impressed with how well these things can pose and stand given they cost about ten bucks each. This is not to mention the little accessories that each comes with.』
(I'm not sure if the Ashikage have ever looked better.) 『I had every version of Snake-eyes and Storm Shadow as a kid and I have to say that these are probably the best looking these two ninjas have ever looked. The detail has come a long way since I was a kid, granted these figures have the advantage of being much larger then ones I grew up with.
The high degree of articulation allows these two to get into some rather realistic positions while in another in their long line of epic battles. I have to say that the points of articulation are rather sturdy as well.
If I have any complaints is Snake-eyes Tonfa swords, though cool in theory, didn't work out as well as I would have liked, and one of the folding handles has since popped off and been lost.
Despite that, this is just an all around great set of two classic characters. If you are a collector or just looking to relive the glory days with the help of your kids this is a set worth buying.』
(Pretty Cool) 『I bought this for my nephew for Xmas and I was suprised these thisngs were actually pretty big GI Joe's. Lots of weapons that came with it. THose are pretty big too and stiff plastic so I'd watch out with little kids I think they could easily hurt themselves with them. But as long as youth or natural selection doesn't factor in your kids should be fine.』 『When Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow come face to face in battle, it's more than just a confrontation between SIGMA and COBRA: it's personal. Once friends and allies, they are now enemies with different missions, one for good and one for evil. These powerful ninja masters are experts with many martial arts weapons and clash with equal skill as they strike sword against sword, dagger against dagger. While they carry out their missions, they remain alert and ready to confront each other in the ultimate ninja showdown that will end their rivalry once and for all.
The Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow action figures come with loads of ninja battle weapons for a dynamic face off-of archenemies.
『Imagine ...
... a dragon that looks like a lion? Thats right. And when you push a button, his wings flap and he takes to the skies! Will he be easier to defeat than other dragonsor is he the Dragon King? Imaginexta whole new adventure every time you play!』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Elite representation) 『I gotta say.. this figure here is impressive, yes it has its flaws, the wrists are fragile and it's really not for playing with like a kid would. the posing is acceptable and while not super fluid, can give you some pretty nice stances.
the plasma rifles and hands dont fit as well as the design would make you think, but this isn't a major problem if you don't mess with it alot.
detail is wonderful and truly a treat even for the mild fan of halo. im an artist my self so this comes in handy when wanting to draw the elite armor or something similar.. there is no leg hole for holding weapon, its a miss print on the box. but the hole in the back is to deep for the peg you stick in it..my elite fell over on its back and jammed the peg so far in its impossible to retreave.
other then that.. nice.. worth the money.. i would get a few more just for fun if i had the cash to.』
(8 year old loves it) 『Great toy, his weapons stay in his hands which is very important when my 8 year old is playing good guys and bad guys. He plays with it all the time.』
(These things are freakin amazing.) 『The detail is great, and just in case you didn't know, the helmet, shoulder pads, and chest piece are removable. The kid I gave this to thinks it is the greatest thing. The only qualm I have is the range of motion in the legs isn't great, but still, if you want action figures this is the way to go.』
(Halo 3 Series Elite Combat Soldier) 『This is a well made, high quality action figure. This one and all made by McFarland are display ready. It's a shame to let the kids play with them, eventhough they really have fun. I would recommend for more mature children, but would even stand up to younger hands.』
(Quite a good toy) 『Just received this and one of the Master Chief variants.
The Elite is really detailed and quite nice.
The only downsides I have found with it are:
1) The fins on the rear of the plasma rifles are fragile, if you drop it or the toy falls over, be sure to anticipate those fins getting broken/compressed.
2) You can only store one of the rifles on the toy at a time. I can only find one peghole on the back. In order for the character to hold the rifles in his hands, you need to remove the holding pegs. Quite easy to lose that small piece of plastic.
Otherwise, a good toy and looks good.』 『These highly detailed figures turn Halo fans into avid collectors. The third of its kind, this series showcases each of the major characters from Halo 3. Assemble them in a battle-ready line-up and finish the fight! Figures each measure approximately 6" tall. Collect them all.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Good toy, but problematic accessories) 『I bought my son the Planet Heroes spaceship and the Ace figure. We have had great difficulty getting Ace to not only stay on the skateboard, which he does most of the time now, but particular difficulty getting Ace's helmet to stay on. I used up a great deal of tape because I had to keep taping it to the figure's body.
And the only knock I've seen consistently with the action figures is that the accessories can be difficult for small children to put into the figures' hands. It is a very tight fit. It may loosen up over time, but initially, expect to help your kid, especially the younger ones, with this.
By the way, regarding the price -- I purchased at Toys R Us for $8.95 retail, not on sale.』
(fun, educational toy) 『I kind of stumbled across the Fisher Price Line of Planet Heroes accidentally. Over the holidays I was looking for christmas gifts for my 3yo and found the Planet Heroes rocket ship through Amazon's "Todays Deals". My son loves rockets, so I gave it a shot. Then we received a few of the planet heroes action figures from santa. He loves them.
The figures are chunky and sturdy and easy to stand and manipulate the limbs. I won't say they are impossible to break, but my son is really hard on toys and these have now lasted us 6 months with lots of use and no casualties. They do not really have any tiny pieces to lose or break off.
Earth Ace comes with a skate board. If you press a button on the base of the board, wings pop out on the sides to help your little one "fly" the figure around the room.
I noticed another reviewer mentioned that the figure doesn't stay on the board too well. We found that too, but if you stick the handle of the control panel in his hand, that tends to help him stay on.
I like that the figures are educational - each figure teaches about his/her home planet and comes with a trading card that has great facts about the solar system. One of my favorite details is that each figure has a number on his/her chest that represents it's position from the son. My son just thinks they are cool and tough and take all the abuse he can muster and keep coming back for more.
These figures are just slightly smaller than Fisher Price' line of "Rescue Heroes". We have a few of those figures as well, but unfortunately the Rescue Hero characters do not fit into the Planet Hero accessories/vehicles. Not a big deal, but as we play with them all together, it would have been great if they could all pile into the rocket for a ride. :)
I would absolutely recommend these figures for a toddler or young child.
And if you check out the planet heroes website, they have games, information about planets and the solar system, and even a couple of free dvds that you can sign up to receive through the mail (dvd's aren't great quality, but the stories are entertaining, educational, and free!)
The prices seem to fluctuate a lot on Amazon for these figures. There must be a huge demand for them - I've seen some listed for a lot of money through some sellers. I wouldn't spend more than $10 - 12 for each figure unless you are a collector looking for a specific one.』
(Price Gouging) 『This toy is way over priced I bought it in my Grocery for $7.99. $24.95 is three times that and there isn't even a storefront expense to justify!』
(Earth Ace has plenty difficulty staying on his skateboard.) 『My 3yr. old, 6yr. old, and 9yr. old grandsons and I have plenty difficulties making Earth Ace stay on his skateboard. The toy is made of durable material, but Earth Ace keeps falling off the skateboard every time we try to get it to move. "Earth Ace and his skateboard" have been the most disappointing Planet Heroes toys. However, Earth Ace sits well in the Turbo Shuttle and he stands up well on the floor without his skateboard.』 『Made in china by Mattel Canada,Inc.』

Pros: -The "Dude", in this set a guy dressed as a hot dog, is magnetic, so he sticks to the board and to the dance area (the black circle). He likes the guy being able to ride the board. -Lots of obstacles and things for the dude to ride and "grind" on -Everything can fit inside or attached to the van, so no pieces laying around. -Geared to the younger kids interested in Tech Decks, but no microscopic wheels, nuts or screws.
Cons: -The board isn't customizable, the same size, nor does it have the textured grip on the deck. This might not be a con for you, but be aware that the "Dudes" aren't the exact same. Dudes won't stick to a regular Tech Deck. -Some of the pieces, like the quarter pipe ramp are hard to put on/remove, and all the pieces have to be disassembled before you can fold up the van. Your kid may or may not like having to put it together or take it apart all the time. -The monster guy is a bit difficult to get back into the portapotty. Not a big deal, but just mentioning it. My son couldn't do it on his own at first. -The design doesn't really let the Dude successfully skate down any of the ramps. The ramps have 90 degree corners at the bottom, so when he gets that far, he usually just tips over. Also, when you extend the one ramp upward, the angle is so steep he doesn't even stay on it all the way down, he usually just tumbles down the ramp. I think the intent is for the kids to hold the guy the whole time, but natural tendancy is to try and let it skate by itself. This is the biggest negative to me from a design perspective.
Overall, this a great intro to tech decks for the younger kids. It's a great value right now, too - you're basically getting one board and a skate park for under twenty bucks, while is much cheaper than other tech decks.』
(Kept him entertained all through the Super Bowl!) 『I purchased this for my 5-year old god-child's birthday and he opened it Super Bowl Sunday. He LOVED it. It kept him totally entertained throughout the entire game while grownups were yelling and talking and walking all around him, and this is a very active little boy. This toy does exactly what it says, it opens up to a full skateboard ramp, has many little gadgets, some minor sound effects and even a porta-potty. We grownups got a kick out of that. Overall, a very engaging toy.』
(Son loves these things!) 『I bought this for my 11 year old son and 8 year old nephew for Christmas. They both love it!! My son collects all the dudes and tech decks, but this by far is his favorite!』
(Grandson loved it) 『My 7 yr old grandson loves tech decks. I searched Amazon for tech deck&found this cool van that opens up to a skate park. He was suprised and very happy with it. I chose it because of the other positive reviews and glad I did. It was a perfect Christmas gift for him.』
(Great toy for older boys) 『I think is a nice toy for an older boy. Everything fits in the Van and is easy to keep all together.』 『
The Tech Deck Dude Van Playset looks like a cool van until you open it up to discover it turns into a skate park ramps and coming with loads off cool accessories such as a turntable and out house.
