(No educational value needed.) I bought several different windup toys at once. When I got them, I noticed they had a size difference. Pintacuda is the biggest. The drawback of being big is that it takes more energy to make it move and sustain its motion. The time I spend on winding it up is more than the time I can enjoy watching it dance. But still it's a bundle of fun and sets my desk apart from those boring ones of my coworkers. Pintacuda I got is wearing black shoes. I wish they had sent me one like in the picture. Fun toy- I have it in my office at work. People are always asking what it is and think it is hillarious when it dances around my desk. My 7 year old son got this as a gift from us. He has Aspergers, so loves how things work, gears, etc.. This toy is so cool! It is much smaller than I thought (about the palm of your hand). It also is fragile. Our two year old ripped off one of the legs. But then again, it's not meant for two year olds!! It winds up and bounces all over the place. The only con I have is that it doesn't stay wound for long. I think you get about 10 seconds at most out of the wind up. But it still is worth the buy. I will buy these as future gifts for all ages over 7! Would be a very cool office desk toy! (my daughter loves them) I purchased the water drums after a friend said that her child really enjoyed them. My 15 month old daughter, who used to just tolerate baths, now LOVES being in the tub!! I do have to keep an eye on her that she doesn't shove the drumsticks down her throat, but since I am right next to the tub the entire time, that is not a big deal. My daughter loves banging on the drums, using them as bowls to dump water, and using them to put in and take out (repeatedly) her other bath toys. I find that she is already improving with her "drumming", and is managing a somewhat steady beat at times. I rated this 5 stars as educational, because I think toys that encourage creativity and imagination are the most educational ones. I just bought another set for my niece. Love, love, love these! My 11 month old daughter loves this toy. I was having a problem with her trying to stand in the tub while I was giving her a bath. Now she sits and bangs on her drum in the tub which gives me a chance to soap her up. I also use the drum instead of a cup to rinse her off. This Knights and dragon toob from Safari has eight different knight figures about 2 inches tall. Two have horses as well. The small dragon and non-firing catapult round out this little playset as a great take-along toy. They are all nicely painted with blue or red trim on the knights so that they can be used for two different armies. We purchased these as a decoration for my son's castle cake. They worked great and the kids have all been having a great time playing with them! They are small so beware if you have little ones toddling around but they are great to grab in the bag to take places on the go. Very cute! If you have kids or yourself likes knights and dragons, this is a great set!! My son was thrilled when this item arrived. He LOVED the knights and wanted more! This whole series of Planet Hero toys is spectacular. Both of my 5 year olds adore this set. They are excited any time we are able to find a new "hero" to add to the fun. This figure is durable, teaches about the planets, encourages imaginative play and is used every day at our house. Santa brought this for my four-year-old son and he absolutely LOVES it. The toy is definitely bigger than expected, but that's because (as my son explained to me) Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system! While I wouldn't really call this toy educational, I will say that it has reinforced my child's interest in space. If you're child loves hearing all about planets, asteroids and other space facts, this toy is a winner, especially if he or she is still too young to appreciate more sophisticated (and less sturdy) space toys. Being the representative of Jupiter in the Planet Heroes line speaks volumes for this toy, because as far as "action figures" go he's really large! I was shocked when I received it in the mail, and after it was wrapped for Christmas I could have mistaken it for a really large phone book. When you push the button on his back he begins to spin at the waist making a ratcheting sound, and his arm swing freely up and out. Due to his size my son has to do this with both hands. The smaller dog toy is cute, and the purple claws pop out of his side when you push his tail, otherwise the dog is not posable at all. Another really nice feature is that is came with some real facts about Jupiter, so there is educational value here as well. Given all of this though, this toy is not worth what some sellers are trying to get for it. It is a retail $10-15 toy. I actually caught in on sale for even less than that right here on Amazon prior to Christmas.
