(A great option for a cheaper version.) This is one version, of two, of The Fallen in toy form (the other form being approximately a 4 inch tall figure), and this figure is really neat! The Voyager series is quite possibly the best version of the Transformer figures we get with this particular movie. The figures run at about $23 depending on where you buy them.
I also bought The Fallen and Megatron figures of the Voyager editions and, this also goes with The Fallen, the figures all feel cheap. The plastic is extremely lightweight and it's tough to keep the figures from staying in their vehicle modes (Optimus) without the aid of a rubber band. As much as I love these figures I will say right now that the Transformers toys from the 80s were of better quality than these. These feel like toddler toys that will break apart at any second when you handle them.
The detail on this version of Optimus Prime is the best you're going to get outside of spending $45 for the electronic version. Granted, some detail in some areas is a bit shabby but it's the best thing without breaking your wallet. I really like the detail Hasbro paid to the face of Prime as it definitely looks like the exact same face Prime was given in the film!
The figure transforms in a decent manner but you'll want to keep the directions that come with it as you'll never be able to fully remember how to transform the figure if you aren't using it after a while.
Overall, the figure is exceptional and highly recommended for any collector or fan of the Transformers toys! The appendages look great as well as the paint job! When I saw the pics of this toy online I really liked how the truck looked but was unsure about the robot. When I bought it today I must say the robot looks much better in person. I have seen the 44 dollar toy and it does look great, but with that said this cheaper toy really does hold up well in comparison. If I had one small gripe it's that Prime's chest is not the front of the truck like old versions of the toy and instead a fake chest is used. This is minor and really is made up for more than well enough. All in all if you want a really good permanent Prime this is a great addition and well worth the price. It also was just hard enough to transform without being over the top hard like some of the other toys that have come out in this line. Bumblebee comes to mind. From the moment OPTIMUS PRIME took Earth as a new home for himself and his people, he was rededicated to its protection. Since that day, he has focused all of his considerable will and power on rooting out the last few DECEPTICONS and destroying them. To that end, he has upgraded and refined his sensor suite, and trained with IRONHIDE in tracking the evil robots. Prepare to do battle¿ AUTOBOT style! Gear up with the good guys and fire either of two missiles from this mighty leader¿s firing cannons in robot mode. Or convert to tough truck mode turn the smokestack into cannons! Either way, you¿re armed for battle! The only question is ¿ are you ready? Rerations < Transformers Movie 2 Voyager Optimus Prime >

(RAMPAGE IS GARBAGE)
(Better than Demolisher) Rampage is one of the Constructicons who will appear in the Transformers: The Fallen movie coming out in June. His vehicle mode is a big yellow Caterpillar bull dozer. He also has an alternate jackhammer mode and robot mode.
For Kids: For kids I think this is a wonderful toy. First, what kid doesn't like bull dozers? Second he has very unique and cool looking robot mode that is big and spidery that I think most kids will like. However, I don't think many will get much of a kick out of the jackhammer form. Also, despite their looks once transformed these toys are pretty sturdy. The only downside is that the transformation is rather complex and although the package says 5 and up I don't think many kids under 9 will have the patience to transform this guy and it is necessary to be delicate during transformation.
For Adults: The adult collector will appreciate the detail packed into Rampage. His vehicle form looks great with rubber treads; it has gears in the treads, a big bull dozer blade with hydraulics and pistons, and lots of other sculpting detail. I only wish the treads could actually roll. The downside is that while there is some good paint, like the silver at the bottom of the blade, for the most part he is his cast in yellow plastic color. There are several little areas that if some additional detail paint had been applied it would have really brought out the sculpting details. For example the gears look great but are the same yellow as the rest instead of silver or rust colored.
He has a form called Jackhammer mode in between full vehicle and robot mode. The moving pistons are advertised as some cool feature of this but really it isn't that great. It's not like they're spring loaded or something, although to be fair, his front legs that make the jackhammer are.
Once transformed into full robot mode he looks great. He's really big and at first glance it's almost impossible to tell he'd turn back into a bull dozer. The blade splits and spikes extend to become back legs, front legs swivel out from under, the treads come apart and become long whips, the cab disappears... As stated in the kids section this is one complex transformation. **NOTE: The blade, or scoop, is designed to pop off to avoid damage and is easily popped back into place. It has grooves built in to facilitate this. Once fully transfromed it stays in place fine. Also, having it out of the way can assist with other aspects of the transformation.**
His waist pivots and his legs can be moved into many different positions, his head can turn or rotate slightly and the pistons around his "neck" can move, he has front claws that open and close and good up down, side to side shoulder articulation. He can be displayed in a variety of poses. If I had to wish for more articulation it would be some elbow articulation and front knee articulation. Still what is there is excellent.
Overall I was glad I picked this guy up. I think that it was horrible .I just bought I didn't even get to transform it and the front scoop keeps falling off.If you like to destroy toys then it's great, but if you don't DO NOT BUY IT!IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!IT IS WORTHLESS;GARBAGE!If you get one TAKE IT BACK!The things that hold the scoop is bad!I took it back. I picked up three transformers a couple days ago at target and Rampage is the more impressive Constructicons so far. I got Demolisher and Rampage at the same time but honestly I was really looking forward to Demolisher cuz he looked awesome in the trailer throwing Prime around. Anyways he turned out to be a bit of a let down in robot mode but not so with Rampage. In vehicle mode he is a bulldozer and from there turns into a jackhammer gimmick and then his robot mode. I didn't have trouble converting transformers from the last movie but for some reason these have gave me trouble but I blame it on the directions, sometimes the illistrations get confusing. His robot mode kinda reminded me of Motoro from Mortal Kombat the half man half horse. So until I find the rest of the 'Cons, Rampage is my new fav. The stink of diesel fumes and hot tar follows RAMPAGE wherever he goes. His treads are packed with metal shards stripped from his victims, and the countless scratches covering his chassis are testament to hundreds of brutal battles. He lives to pound his enemies into submission, and thinks of little else. His idea of beauty is the sight of sun glinting off the raw edges of shredded AUTOBOT armor. Team up with this devilish-looking DECEPTICON warrior and get ready to take on AUTOBOT forces! In attack mode, this 4-legged robot figure’s treads become whips – ready to swing into battle! Then, with a few twists and turns, change the robot figure to jackhammer mode and check out the moving pistons! Finally, gear up for a serious ground attack when you unleash a bulldozer mode that’s ready to flatten the competition! Rerations < Transformers Movie 2 Deluxe Rampage >

(Cute little pig. 10 year old nephew loved it.)
(Pigs DO Fly)
(Flying pig--what fun!)
(For the pig collectors.) This Flying Pig is hysterical. It really flys and the oinks are loud enough to hear. My husband, son and mother all had great success. You can sling in across the room and further. Durable. Flies far. Wish the noise it makes were a little louder. Entertained 10 year old nephew for quite awhile. Slingshot Flying Pig With Oink Sound I bought several different ones for my grown daughter...she loves them, says her 3 yr old is frightened by the noise We used several different slingshot animals at a meeting today. Not all them held up to use. The 2 pigs have held up for us. What fun we had shooting them across the room! The sounds were a cause of laughter as well. This is a fun gag gift that I gave to a collector of pigs. Not much other purpose for it, but it does provide a few laughs. They work like a slingshot and scream while flying. They are approximately 9" long and fly well over 50 feet. The harder you pull back, the further they will fly. Slingshot Pig flies with a oinking sound! The Slingshot Flying Pig is nothing short of outrageous! The Pig can be shot long distances using his elastic arms. Put one finger in each of the hands' pockets, pull back and let go. The soft, furry Pig is funny with its big head and bulging eyes. As an added bonus, every time you shoot him, he lets out three loud oinking sounds. We don't know why he does this, he just does. If your office or home needs some seriously funny props, you'll love the Slingshot Flying Pig. Rerations < Slingshot Flying Pig With Oink Sound >

customer 's review (Fun but not perfect)
(beat that)
(Fun starter set for a child with patience)
(Wiz Bang Fun)
(Flimsy design) This Hot Wheels track is a lot of fun! Unfortunately, we have to manually trigger the last stunt because the claw never drops the car on the target. Out of about 40 times the claw has dropped the car on target ONCE. But my kids still LOVE it. i like the game because the wheel that launches the car launches it like a special track and the crane lowers and drops the car on the switch that triggers all the cars on the sides and i like that the car in the middle goes off a ramp. Our 5 year old son received this for Christmas, and he's still loving it...which says a lot considering how many toys he has to choose from. If your child is relativly new to race tracks (like ours is), you'll probably need to help him/her assemble it. It doesn't take long to set up, though (5 to 10 minutes), and it seems to be holding up well to all the wear and tear so far (everything still works great after 20+ uses). You should be aware that the cars do need to be moved from one section to the next, and several of our sons cars from his personal collection did not fit into the launching section....so it might be a good idea to explain that to your child before he/she begins playing with it. However...all-in-all I'd say it was a good buy. We bought this for our 8 yr old son based on the reviews here. It's really fun to play with and is quite durable. The only silly thing is, we can't get it back into the travel box because one part just won't come apart no matter what we do. We don't really care but since we went out of town for Christmas, we couldn't repack it when it was time to drive home. Otherwise, it's great. I ordered this for my 4 yr old (almost 5) grandson for Christmas. He has 3 of the other Hot Wheel tracks that can be connected to this starter set. I ordered it based on the positive responses on this site, however, this track was very flimsy and soon lost its appeal. We had the entire family room covered in tracks that had to be disassembled after the holidays. It's all in a box in the corner now and I doubt if any of us will have the time or inclination to put it all together again. It's a lot for an adult to deal with and even more for a child. I don't think I'll be purchasing any more Hot Wheels tracks! The new Triple Stunt Set features three ready-made stunts that kids can use to build their own configurations for endless stunt action. Plus you can combine and connect all the track sets in this line for even more fun. The possibilities are endless like jet out of the launcher, fly through a death-defying loop and confront the menacing Craniac for hours of daredevil fun. It includes one vehicle. This set cannot be used with some of the Hot Wheels vehicles. Rerations < HOT WHEELS Trick Tracks Triple Stunt Starter Set >

(claw)
(Great fun for the Wolverine fan!) Paired with a Wolverine Costume, our three year old is having a blast. The claws are a little big for him. But, he could care less. This toy would be perfect except for the description states gloves and there is only 1 glove per package. This was very disappointing to myself and my son. my son just got this for his 6th birthday and loves them. I say THEM b/c we had to buy TWO of them...that is my only complaint..it is packaged with ONE claw and wolverine has TWO. so of course my son wanted two of them. I got them for $22 at toys r us. each takes 2 AAA batteries. makes electronic slashing noises when you swing them around and the claws come out easily with the flip of the wrist and my son gently pushes them on the ground or couch to push back in. the claws are rounded and larger around than I expected so he is not hurting anyone or anything (yet, lol!). His hand fits under the black part and it has adjustable velcro underneath and a handle to hold onto so virtually anyone can use it, no matter their size. the claws do stick once in awhile coming out if he doesn't do it just right, but he really doesn't care at all. overall a super toy and we would purchase again! (DEMOLISHOR isn't very bright...)
(Good but could have been a little better) I went to TOYS R US today and I saw the transformers ROTF display up and I picked up DEMOLISHER. When I got back in the car I transformed him. I thought it was pretty neat. I think he looks cool in vehicle and robot mode. Only one part has fallen off and it was easy to put back on. Its wheel even moves in robot mode. His arms kind of help him stand up. I would really recommend it! The character's description fits the toy well because this is not a great toy.
The toy is based on a Terex/O&K RH400, "the world's largest hydraulic excavator". It must be huge, but making it part of the Voyager line (the big toys, but not the biggest) means that it's roughly in the same scale as the smallest Optimus Prime in the Legends line.
The red colored deco is more appropriate for a simmilar excavator called Scavenger that also appears in the film and forms the torso of Devastator.
Now on to the toy itself:
ALTERNATE MODE: Demolishor should be painted WHITE. The toy lacks a lot of detail that can give a sense of scale, especially a lot of pistons and cables on the arm of the real excavator. The whole "body" is off in shape and proportions, and it can't swivel on top of the tracks, so the arm will always point in the same direction. The tracks are made of rubber, but they can't roll because they're permanently attached with screws to the two wheels inside each track. They even have a small hole that connects to pegs in the body. The tracks are fake, but there's no little wheels either, so the toy can't roll in any way.
So, this toy doesn't roll, the body doesn't swivel and then the only moving part is the arm, which has 3 points of articulation.
Transformation is a little bit hard, especially because both modes are not familiar and you don't know how it should look in the end. Also, instructions are accurate, but aren't very clear.
ROBOT MODE: You'd think that the excavator mode was sacrificed in order to have a great robot mode, but you'd be wrong. The robot design is intended to balance like a Segway on one big wheel alone, as it has no legs. This limits a lot of poseability, because you'll need to use both arms to stand the toy like a tripod. Because the head is permanently attached to the body and there are no legs, the only articulation is in the arms, but it's useless for posing because they're needed to stand the toy.
The toy in general seems to have few pieces, so durability should be good except for the delicate handrails that follow the contour of the excavator and it's stairs. Mine shows white stress marks where pressure has been applied by the twist ties that hold the toy in place within the package. Paint application is scarce, resorting more to molded colored plastic.
To sum things up, the toy has very limited poseability and detail for a toy in the Voyager line. There's much more molded detail in the medium-sized Deluxe toys (like Sideswipe, Sideways, Rampage).
This is the "less bang for your buck" toy that I've seen from the ROTF movie. I recommend you to get a couple of Deluxe toys instead of this... or that you save a little and get Optimus Prime in the biggest Leader line, which is the greatest movie toy I've seen. I was walking through target yesterday and was suprised to see the ROTF display up. I picked him up along with Rampage and Soundwave. I love the way Demolisher looks in vehicle mode but what's the point of having a transformer and not converting it. I must say he was one of the more difficult ones I've transformed, mostly I think because the directions get confusing sometimes. I think it took me 10 minutes to convert him but I wasn't really impressed with the result. On the box I figured his arms would help him stand in robot mode but they only move in a few directions but after playing around with it for awhile I found a decent pose for him. All in all Demolisher was a good buy but I'm really looking foward to the supreme class Devastator. DEMOLISHOR isn’t very bright, but he knows when to fight, and when to run and hide. Arriving on Earth to find MEGATRON destroyed, hiding seemed like the best option. Since then, he’s taken a few smaller DECEPTICONS under his protection, and built quite a little community. It hasn’t been easy, hiding among the humans that creep like a disease over this planet, but he and his companions are content to wait until a new DECEPTICON leader emerges to guide them back to glory.
