(More teeny-tiny Lego parts) 『I put this one together because my 6-year-old grandson was not that interested. I put the wrong head on one of the pirates and never could get it off! The parts are very tiny, and I imagine that by now the toy is in pieces which are lost so it was a one-day toy - not worth it. I will definitely stay away from any of the tiny Lego packages.』
(Perfect for a LEGO lover or 6 year old) 『I gave these to my 6 y/o nephew for Christmas and he loved them. He likes plain old LEGOS as opposed to the sets, but he really liked the different pieces that came with this one. It comes with some tools/weapons you don't get in a regular sets. It's hard to go wrong with LEGOS and your child (or you) won't be disappointed with this set.』

(The soldier has a cannon that shoots!!!) 『I bought this set because it was cheap and it had some nice figures. This set comes with one soldier figure which has an awesome printed torso and hat. The soldier is equipped with a sword and a torch. This set also comes with one pirate figure which has a green bandana and a cool printed torso. He is equipped with a musket and a treasure map. The only not so good thing about the figures is both their faces are very common; other then that the figures are excellent. This set also comes with an awesome cannon which is very era authentic, and shoots quite far. This set also has a little wall that if shot by a cannon will fall apart. Here are the basics of the set:

The bag is great for storage. Strong plastic, woven cloth handles. The one I received was red, not yellow, so the picture may be different from the bag you receive also.
As fas as bloks go, the 200 piece set contained several pieces that my 80 piece set did not. I got a set of wheels, two "roof"-shaped pieces (or nose-cones) and at least one 90-degree angled piece.
Highly recommend for toddlers to satisfy the building urge. Light-weight, robust, colorful, easy to assemble and disassemble, hard to swallow. Of course always use adult supervision.』

(For anyone with imagination!) 『Our son (6) LOVES this toy. He's learning to follow directions and put it together with little assistance from me. That part is great because when it falls apart, he puts it back together. He's created a ton of different things with it. So, it really stretches his imagination. I don't think it's all that educational, but it does help him with his creativity. Great toy! It's over a month since Christmas and he still plays with it daily.』
(Pursue this!!!) 『Pros:
- It is fun shooting the cryogenic pod and then shooting the windshield of the officer's vehicle.
- I like pretending the box full of gold bars falls out.
- I like changing who is in the officer's vehicle and who is in the skull interceptor.
Cons:
- The antennae on the officer's vechile falls off a lot.
- The gold bars in the skull interceptor don't fall out like they show on the box.
- There aren't any 100 dollar bills in the set like they show on the box.
- The officer's vehicle doesn't actually shoot anything』
(Really neat Lego set) 『This was a Christmas present for my 6.7 year old. He attacked each of the two spaceships with zeal and built both of them in a day each with very minimal help from me.
Once finished, each ship looks really neat and has some cool features. The villain spaceship takes clear design cues from the Road Warrior's pursuit car. Each ship, when finished, is durable enough to play with. By that, I mean that each one is strong enough to grab and chase someone else around the house with.
A great Lego product for any boy that likes space, police, or hotrod stuff.』

(NOT GOOD TO BUILD ON - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!) 『I purchased Lego Duplo blocks for my toddler, and thought this would be a great idea to build things on, since it would keep everything in place. I didn't realize, however, that it would be a FLIMSY piece of plastic that should cost NO MORE THAN $2 - and even THEN I wouldn't buy it! It moves/slides around too easily, so it won't stay in place on a tabletop, and I doubt it would on any other surface! I put my daughter's on top of a Little Tikes table (a GREAT buy for $[...] - she LOVES it!), and used DUCT TAPE to secure it to the table! (little loops under the plate around all of the edges, so she can't peel it up!) It works well, but this is the ONLY way I can see it doing so! FIND ANYTHING ELSE TO BUILD ON TOP OF - MAYBE EVEN THOSE TABLES THEY MAKE SPECIFICALLY FOR LEGO-BUILDING!!!!!』

Our Duplo version is much thicker and sturdier, so it's a surprise that this one is so thin and cheap. I certainly don't feel like I should have to get out my glue gun and MDF to "fix" it, as another reviewer did. (Great problem solving, but it shouldn't be necessary.) Alas, we will keep it because a base plate really is needed for any serious Lego creation, and there aren't alternatives that I know of. C'mon, Lego, I expect much higher quality from you!』
