He has wanted this for over a year now and had been saving his own money to buy this toy. He was thrilled when this given this gift and got up at 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning to begin putting the boat together. He has always been dexterous from the time he was buckling the plastic buckle on his high chair, so putting LEGOs together is fun for him. The toy is created nicely with many details. There is a mini "hospital" to treat people who are rescued from the Coast Guard Boat. There is a raft to go out to sea to rescue them. There is also a dock and tower that are built separately. The toy includes many items that would actually be on a rescue boat. The new LEGOS are very imaginative and some of the items are quite small. The current LEGO toys show detailed instructions in pictures step-by-step, as opposed to the LEGOS of 30+ years ago. I did not get a chance to play with the toy myself, but Grandma Barbie and Poppie really enjoyed the BIG SMILES as our grandson enjoyed this toy. It encourages imagination as well.』
(Fun Fun Fun) 『I purchased this set for my five year old. He enjoys playing with it in the bath and loves the shark and the little raft that comes with it. He doesn't play with the light house because it keeps coming apart. It frustrates him that the roof keeps coming off.
When I ask him if he enjoys it and he enthusiastically says yes!

(LEGO Indiana Jones Shanghai Chase) 『This kit makes two incredibly cool vehicles and has lots of mini figures, which are my son's favorite part. It also has a girl mini figure, which can be hard to find. A great kit if you are an avid Indy Jones LEGO collector! The only downside that I have seen is that it is a little challenging for the younger kids to get the mini figures in and out of the cars. Otherwise, a great set!!』
(Lego Indiana Jones Shanghai Chase set review (I couldn't think of a better title! :() 『This is a cool set because of (in my opinion) the Chinese mafia agent's faces. There's some classic Chinese inscrutability on the on with the mustache. The cars are way cool, too. Once again, my favorite is the Mafia sedan. Sadly, Short Round (why did they call him that, by the way?) doesn't fit in the trunk, but that's OK because in the movie, he's at the wheel. In closing, cool set, love the Willie Scott minifigure, (hate the character), and the diamond is just priceless.』

He's learned to turn it on, and loves to take the balls out and put them back in. Now I find many of his toys in there. He chews on the croc, elephant and tree. You can also blow in to them and make them move. He find it funny when I do that. We have had hours of fun with this toy!』
