When I first decided to buy these types of blocks I went shopping online at Walmart.com to see a comparison, well I couldn't find them online at all. I went to the local Walmart but for the price I paid on amazon I got AT LEAST twice as many blocks for the same price as what I would have paid at walmart.

Our grandchildren loved building towers with these blocks, they are 3&4 yrs old. I highly recommend amazon and these blocks to anyone looking for a good toy for children. It is larger than regular legos and much easier for little hands to assemble.』

(Another huge disappointment from megablocks)
『The product is difficult to assemble and falls apart. Megablocks engineering, machining and manufacture is terrible. The pieces fit poorly and the product was a huge disappointment to my son. We have had other megablocks sets (received as gifts) and they are all the same poor quality. I would never buy a megablocks product and I cannot believe this company is still in business.』

『This was my first Mega Bloks Halo Wars set, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of MB and I like Halo, but I'd heard some pretty bad reviews. Honestly, I bought it to get my hands on the figures - which turned out to be very well done and highly pose-able. Not thrilled with the over-sized shotguns, but I was able to fix that easily with a little mod work. Having bought the thing, I decided I should at least put the turret together and see how it worked - and I was pleasantly surprised. It went together easily with only one minor issue - the side shields are attached early in the build (for no good reason) and get in the way. Naturally, they pop off throughout the build. When attached at the end, they are fairly stable, but will pop off. I put in a little tissue to tighten the clutch and they were rock solid. Same with the guns, which do tend to be a bit loose. In the end, my only real gripe with this set was that there isn't an interface between the figure and the weapon. He sits in the chair and has no handles to grab. If you build it as per the instructions, he can't even touch the control panel. Easy to fix with a little creativity and a few spare bricks, but somewhat annoying. Overall, though, this is a nice model with some excellent figures.

『This is a great little set and a very good introduction to Mega Brands' Halo Wars product line. The design is pretty simple overall, using a nice assortment of basic bricks rather than specialized, single-use elements. The colors are excellent--really good representations of Halo colors, and frankly it just looks great.

The turret itself features four laser cannons and a seat for the gunner. In addition, the turret swivels and elevates to provide a 360-degree arc of fire--enough to keep even the most stubborn Covenant forces at bay!

My favorite part is that the UNSC Turret includes three Spartan figures, so that this is a good set for starting to build your army! The figures are remarkably detailed and great representations of Spartans.

A fine set from start to finish. I already own three and plan to purchase at least two more.』

『My son was very excited to put this together and play with it. The directions were easy enough and it went together great. The guys that came with it are pretty cool and sturdy too. The biggest problem is once it's together you can't touch it let alone play with it. The guns just fall right off and the side camo pieces pop off it you pick it up. So if you want to sit and stare at it you can but don't try to play with it. I could glue it but doesn't that defeat the purpose of building blocks? I'm pretty disappointed because it looks so cool and just like the game- I just wish it could be played without being glued.』

『My grandchildren (ages 3 and 5) found this toy to be of zero interest. Construction difficult enough that the adults couldn't do anything fun with it either. More serious is that the balls are quite heavy -- heavy enough that, when heaved by a 3 year old, they made a dent in the wall board. Perhaps there is an age group for which this is a safe and enjoyable toy, but I would not recommend it for households where there is a child young enough to consider throwing the balls.』

The parts are well constructed, but heavy. The magnets are weak. Put the two together and you have a construction set you can't build anything with.

Go beyond the simplest pyramid and everything simply falls down. Even a simple square is a challenge to keep standing. The illustrations in the company's advertising and on its packaging are deceptive: you cannot build the projects shown with the set as it is delivered

Save your money and avoid this product.

『My son got this as a bday present and spent over 2 hours playing with it on the first day (that is unheard of!). It's fun figuring out new configurations by trial and error, but a booklet is included and does offer some track ideas. It is definitely worth the money. It's sturdy, provides hours of fun, and will be a life-saver once winter settles in. A great toy!』

(Skyrail Marble Run Roller Coaster 150-pc Set)

Be forewarned that there is a larger set (250 pieces) that contains different parts than this 150 piece set, so simply buying this set twice will not enable you to build some of the track layouts included in the instructions that come with both sets.

I highly recommend these sets for their ease of use and the sheer fun factor. They are easy enough for small hands to put together, and our son has fun creating his own designs in addition to trying to replicate the layouts included in the instructions.』

『This toy was a big hit with all 4 of my kids ( 7 year old triplets, 5 yr old). The Magnetix iCoaster, a "cool", sturdy rollercoaster was too complicated and quickly abandoned by the kids because it required too much adult help ( note my kids were younger than the age rec. for the iCoaster. That purchase was a gamble). This Skyrail is easily assembled and has so many different possibilities. This rollercoaster is very simple to snap together. The run is long and takes up alot of space when assembled. However, you can opt for shorter tracks when you build your coaster. This also can be partially or fully unassembled when not in use. Half the fun is building it! For extra stability for some of our longer designs, we used painter's tape to temporarily secure the rail stands to the floor. Highly Recommended Toy.』

『Neat ship, but it falls apart too easily. We gave it to my son for Christmas and he put it together, but every he tried to do something with it, something fell off. After 2 or 3 days he took it apart and rebuilt it into something sturdier he could play with!』

『Cool looking ship from Lego Star Wars. This is from a video game(not the movies). Not sure if the design closely resembles the game ship (need to look it up). Interesting design though and fun to build.

PRO's-Hidden compartment with trigger for a spring loaded missile, 2 red tipped(manual fire )missiles(hidden), hidden compartment for 2 laser rifles. Retractable landing gear, wings tilt from landing position to launch position, tilting cockpit canopy. Plus you get a very cool battle damaged Darth Vader figure (along with 2 other minifigures-a femal pilot(with choice of blond hair or a black officer cap)and another dark Jedi with light saber. These characters are again from the video game.

CON's-Must be careful when building to line up the techniqe pieces to make the wings line up properly (pay attention to this step), landing gears comes off from time to time (meaning the feet of the landing gear), also would've been easy to design a way to fit another figure into the cockpit.

Ship is better for a 10 year old on up.』

(Pretty basic)
『Not much to say about a base plate. These are good for what they're meant for. My kids wish they would stack on top of other Legos, though, so they could be used as ceilings as well as floors. Oh well, they're still versatile and allow Lego creations to be portable and stable, which is the point. Worth the purchase price.』

(Fun for Everyone)
『My 4-year old son was upset with me last week cause I forgot to say goodbye to him or something silly when I dropped him off at daycare. To make it up to him I searched for some project we could do together and found this. Obviously it's way out of his age-range but he LOVES coasters and puzzles so I gave it a shot and it didn't disappoint. We built it together in about 6 hours, mostly it was me reading the excellent full-color picture instructions and telling him which pieces to find/connect and he got the hang of it quick. Seeing the final result and switching on the motor was very rewarding for him and he's telling anyone that'll listen about his coaster.

I'm giving it 5 stars but there are a couple things to be aware of with this model:

1. As stated in other k'nex reviews there are no extra pieces, be careful to not misplace anything, some are smaller than your fingernail. We ended up with one missing piece and a handful of random extras. I found our important missing piece by going to the store and picking up some little $3.00 K'Nex gizmo that had what we needed.

2. Why did they put two different black pieces in the same bag? The 100 or so chain links are mixed in with about 8 other black pieces of the same size. Arg...

3. Putting the track together is most frustrating part - track pieces need to bend and typically connect to main model with one tiny connector that often can't handle the strain until the full track is assembled. Once done though it's not a problem. My son was thrilled by the loop.

4. The chain - I swear I used the recommended number of links but I had to adjust it a little cause it kept slipping on the gear attached to the motor and falling out of the guides on the track. It still slips a little when hauling the cars up the track.

5. One of the cars inexplicably is faster than the other - so eventually it hits the other one just going up the chain and misses the chain itself. Oh well.

One nice thing is you can go online to [...] to find another plan for these parts, though it appears much smaller than this model. Since this is considered new in their product line I hope they publish more build plans.

I plan on getting more of these - it's fun for me too. :)』

(The best Lego Set Ever!!!!!!!!!!)
『I recently got the Lego Eiffel Tower.My mom said i should put this on here so, i'm 10 years old and i finished building the Lego Eiffel Tower in 1 day. The easiest section to build is the 2nd one. The 2nd and 3rd sections are pretty durable but the 1st section isn't very durable. Never try to take this somewhere by car. Pieces break off and then you lose them. Over all, this set is awesome. It is very detailed. Make shure you don't let people touch it cause that can break it to. KEEP PETS AWAY FROM IT. And NEVER let your little siblings play with it or around it!!!!!!!!!!!! Following these things will keep it from breaking.』

『Very high in detail and exceptional structural design. The durability is very good consider it's a plastic brick toy. Some reviewer compliant about is not durable after done building it, I don't agree. If you are a seasoned LEGO builder and know where to push or hold when you put together pieces so they would stick together very tight, I would say this LEGO Eiffel Tower is very sturdy. I have tested by dropped it from the table height and of course the tower break but only those little pieces (like the flag, the radio pole, and the little decorate vertical brick) the core structure still hold pretty good.
After finishing this piece make me want to buy LEGO Taj Mahal (wait for the price drop).

PS: It isn't kidding about "age 16+" on the box, building this set require lots of effort and patience (took me 14 hour to complete it).』

(battery drain ruins the fun)
『This is a very fun, creative toy. It keeps the kids occupied for a good while. BUT the cars burn through batteries. One play session is enough to make the cars too weak to climb the bridge. I tried rechargeable batteries but they are not strong enough to make the cars climb the hills. Also, when we first bought the toy, the cars with fresh batteries would go very fast. It was fun to watch them go nuts, jump the track and drive over each other. But over time, even with fresh batteries, the cars got slower and weaker. I noticed fibers building up around the tire "axles" (even though we were running the cars only on the track on bare hardwood floors). I thought that may be the problem. I worked hard to get the fibers out, but it did not help the cars' performance. I do not recommend this toy.』
