Fun to build and loads of traps that are a lot of fun to put together and have your mini-figures run around in. What's best about this set is the myriad traps plus you get 10 mini figures! Was skeptical on the price but once you see how many pieces, how much fun you have building and lot's of mini figures, it's worth it.
PRO's-Overall design, the traps (collapsing stairs, skull drops, hidden darts, swinging swords, retratable stairs w/hidden spike trap, spinning bridge for the crystal skull alien pilots w/hidden pit fall,etc.), cool small half-track tank, 10 mini-figures, unique crystal skull lego heads (which you can see a brain inside, hidden rooms, tiki headed looking archway that mounts onto the temple (archway has darts for eyes and extra darts as a head-dress. Also, lego FINALLY make a large brick base plate to build the large temple onto. Make's it sturdy and easy to build onto, as well as move around (pick up). Lego should do more of this with large sets and ships as well.
CON's-Would love to have had lego style 'stones' to attached to temple instead of stickers. But it's a minor quibble. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED set if you're an Indiana Jones fan or adventure fan in general. Lot's of fun.』

Once together he had a blast but you do have to keep track of all the little extras because they are hard to loose...I found them all over my house.』

Currently he can build complex lego models by only seeing an item, like a space ship. I thought the next logical step would be an erector set. When I was a kid the erector sets were metal and razor sharp. This set contains pretty good directions for the kids to follow. For younger ones I suggest this be a adult/child project. While the kids can probably put together fairly well, some of the directions did not work out at all and some creativity was required to get them to work right.
Pros: >>Plastic pieces with simple to use included tools teach kids how to use fasteners and components to build things >>Objects are large enough to handle for smaller hands.

(Wonderful toy for little builders) 『Santa brought this toy for our 4 year old and he has really enjoyed it. The pieces are sturdy and easy for little hands to use as intended. He builds all sorts of creations and has just as much fun taking them apart and sorting the pieces into compartments. I do not love the locking handle on the container's lid as it is difficult to latch, even for grown-ups. I would recommend this toy for anyone who has a child interested in building and tools.』

Perhaps with more practice my 5 year old will be able to put together more on his own. Over all, this is a good toy and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a creative gift.』

My two year old loved playing with them, but unfortunately, after only 2 weeks, 2 of the blocks came apart in pieces. I have tried to glue them but they simply come apart again. Also, they do have an unpleasant chemical smell that has lingered even now-almost 6 weeks after I purchased them. I think it may be the finish...? Also, if your child likes to knock the blocks around or may throw them, they are much heavier (and potentially damaging!) than cardboard nesting blocks. I do like them still, just wish they were a little more durable and didn't fall apart like they did!』
