This one has 2 mouthpieces and 2 horns so they can either create one big instrument to play together or build 2 different ones. Plus, the tube pieces work with Quercetti's Tubnation which we also have so they can build even bigger instruments if they want.

He was doing the 24 piece puzzles with little difficulty and we were looking for something different to challenge him. He got this set for Christmas and loves it. The project cards are included to help you think "outside the box" and it also includes the building board which really was a must for his age to have a place to start. We love that it is different than his other puzzles and blocks and pushes his creativity and problem-solving. We will add other pieces later like the sticks and wheels. All of the pieces go back into the tote bag easily, which makes this momma happy!』

What I love about these toys are that they are durable, light weight, hours, days, months, and years of fun. There are so many different ideas you can build some are more complex then others depending on your child's age (that is why hubby got them too :)) Every kid that has been to our house loves playing with them and if you don't want to try and build a pattern you can make your own. I have also got the small ones for toddlers for my nephew that are soft with no edges and lets just say he loves them and had more fun playing with them then other toys that he recieved. I highly recommend WEDGiTS for all ages as adults love to build with them too. The best part is there are not itty bitty pieces such as legos and other similar toys have.』

The Best-Lock basic blocks are wonderful and really do work with the more expensive (twice as expensive) brand that we already had. They fit together very tightly and are just as much of a pain to get apart as the leading brand, ha ha. The set comes with a nice assortment, not too many tiny pieces but enough to add some detail if you don't already own other blocks. And you get 800 pieces for way less than the L**o brand (which BTW I really do love and have many of).
This is a nice starter set or a nice affordable supplement to your other sets. I must say, also, that I really like the box they come in. It has the "snap lock" type latches, so just in case your little one drops the box down the stairs, you don't end up picking up bricks for a half hour.』
(Daugther loves them!) 『I was really afraid that these would not be durable and stackable. So far, my daughter has made tons of creations! Nothing has fallen apart liked described in a previous post. So I don't know what the problem is, but of all the presents she received, this is her favorite and has been played with every day for several hours since she received them. I did purchase a small set before buying these, the ones that come in the pink container and she gave it the thumbs up and we ordered this set from amazon because of the price. So I am very satisfied.』
(Looks like Lego but it's not.) 『The old adage "you get what you pay for" is proven once again by these building blocks. While they look quite like Lego they aren't nearly as good. My son was frequently frustrated by the inconsistent fit of the pieces-- sometimes they'd snap together and hold, other times they'd fall apart and cause parts of his buildings to topple over. Other times he'd hand the parts over to me (dad) to use brute force to engage a couple of pieces.
These were a gift and unfortunately fell out of favor fairly quickly-- my son went back to his Lego sets.
To my adult eye these blocks were surprisingly uneven in quality. The bricks would frequently be warped slightly and fit together unevenly resulting in an ungainly structure.
Certainly the price is good, but you DO get what you pay for: a low quality, "imitation" lego brick.』

(Great little engine, but there is a problem) 『This is an update to the early review of the Visible V8 kit. Revell has moved their manufacturing of this kit to, (suprise) China sometime during the past few years. The kits are now supplied with metric screws and nuts. The kit was designed here in America about 1960 using 2-56 screws and nuts. The metric nuts and screws are larger and will not fit into some of the pockets and holes correctly. This causes some of the holes not to line up right requiring some drilling and cutting of the plastic parts. A stupid cost cutting move at best. Anyway, if you build one of these kits I would go to the hardware store, buy the correct 34 2-56 nuts,14 2-56 1/4 inch screws,20 2-56 1/2 inch screws, not use the supplied metric nuts and screws. The kit will go together much better and faster. These kits will fit together if you take your time and really do look good when finished.』
(Epoxy cement is a mess. molded construction is very poor) 『I remember the original with little lights to represent spark plug ignition. This is a cost-reduced copy of poor construction and badly fitting components that require a LOT of post-mold re-engineering. It's a great learning tool, but a very badly produced copy of the originaly excellent quality model. I would recommend it only in the sense that it it appears to be the only one available, but it is by no means the quality that Revell used to deliver. Over-all, I would not buy it again.』

(Really nice little V8 engine) 『This is a skill level three kit, age 12+ years. Younger children may be ok with adult supervision. This kit will fit together if you take your time. It does not just snap together. Styrene Glue, epoxy, a small file set and a sandpaper assortment is required. You must trim the flash, file down the ejection pin marks and dry fit each part before gluing. If you are skill level three, then of course you already know this. If you have built plastic model cars or planes before, then this kit should be no problem. If you are looking for a simple kit that can be put together in a afternoon, this is not it. Allow a few days of off and on work to finish. I got my first Visible V8 as a Christmas present in 1961. I have built five Visible V8s since and I am working on #6 now. There is a DVD available that gives step by step instructions for building the Visible V8 on E ---, if needed, however with some time and effort, these kits become a nice little model to show to all your friends. Please remember, this is a scale model and not a toy for little kids to play with, even though it is listed as a toy on Amazon.
