『I bought this toy after reading many reviews. Conceptually, still looks like a good deal. However, my daughter (4 at the time of this writing) did not take to this toy. She did play around with it a little bit, but it did not capture her imagination for very long. Perhaps if she were older, and could follow the instructions more easily, it would have been more engaging. As an adult, I tried to put together some of the models in this kit and found some of the ZOOB joints required dexterity beyond a 5 or even 6 year old. Sure, some of the simpler projects were not all that tough, and could be followed if you were a patient 5 or 6 year old. I would look elsewhere for the under-5. For instance, my daughter has much more fun playing with magnatiles, or playing with magnets or going through science kits for 6+ age group, than working through this. I would strongly recommend magnatiles, as they can encourage creation without such heavy demands on fine motor coordination.』

『My son (6) loves building toys - Legos, K'Nex, Magnatiles, Lincoln Logs, Zoobs, etc. These don't get played with as much as the K'Nex, Legos or Magnatiles which are his favourites, but he does pull them out regularly and enjoys building with them.

Each piece fits into others in different ways. It's totally open-ended which I love, so one day my son can build a dinosaur and another day a snake and another day a cage for a dinosaur or snake :)

The pieces are plastic but quite durable - no broken pieces yet and my son has had these for a year.

This set (250 pcs.) is a good amount - not overwhelming but plenty to make a lot of different things to play with. Grandma is giving him a Zoob wheel set this weekend when we get together for Christmas so I'm sure that will add some good play value to the set as well.

『My 10 year old daughter had a great time putting this together. I had to only help her snap a few of the harder pieces together. Unfortunately, the biggest wheel is crooked and no matter how much I try to straighten it, it won't clear the base and keeps getting stuck on the base. It seems like the base isn't strong enough to hold the weight of the wheel or the base needs to be raised. When I lift part of the base it will turn all the way around and is quite exciting. I need to contact K'Nex to find a solution. We haven't assembled the second option yet. Overall we had a fun time and would recommend it.』

We went through four other FACTORY SEALED boxes before we found one that actually had the missing pieces!! After completing the set, it works okay. The wheels do hit the bases they spin. It's annoying to me, but he still likes the toy. Compared with other Knex toys, I was not impressed with this one at all.』

K'NEX has always been pushing the boundaries of construction toys, and they have created award-winning products in the process. They aim to inspire creativity, build self-confidence, and encourage interaction among children and parents.

The K'NEX double ferris wheel has two spinning wheels rotating in opposite directions.

In their Thrill Rides line, the K'NEX double ferris wheel puts the "amusement" back into amusement park. Build a towering ferris wheel constructed with 977 K'NEX bricks and Micro-K'NEX pieces. Reaching three feet tall, the gigantic gyrating wheels reward determination and imagination.

Construct the base and build the two star-shaped rotating wheels. Pivoting on one of K'NEX's most powerful motors, the double ferris wheel will spin the brightly colored star wheels in opposite directions. The double ferris wheel takes the traditional puzzle, makes it three dimensional, and adds interactive play.

If you have had some experience with K'NEX toys, then construction is fairly straightforward, but even without prior use, little time is needed to get acquainted. Patience is important, and a child that is determined to finish puzzles will take to this toy. The double ferris wheel provides hours of fun for the little builder in your life, however, with many small plastic pieces the manufacturer recommends this toy for ages eight and up.
