There are little to no pizazz to the blocks. Some have features where you can "spin" them (like the letter Q - Queen) or the W (watermelon seeds that rattle) - but most are just a "look at me" type of a block.
With that in mind - yes I like the product. They're blocks. They're meant for stacking, knocking over and banging - which my son loves (he's had these since he was 6 months). They're better than the plain wooden blocks because they're textured, they have objects inside, letters - lots of opportunities to learn letters, colors, objects, descriptions, etc.
For now he's stacking, banging and knocking over. It'll be around for a while until he's ready to learn more words, colors, objects, animals. This review isn't profound or eye openings because again - they're just blocks. Keep that in mind when making your purchasing decision. It will not make your child an overnight rocket scientist =)』
(1 year old fun!) 『My daughter received these for her 1st birthday and were a big hit as soon as we took them out of the bag. Right now she just likes the noise they make as well as the size of the blocks. I have a feeling they will be a favorite as she can start to recognize the shapes in the blocks and use them to spell words as she gets older.

The Midak Skyblaster works well and can hold up to 4 spheres. The legs are sturdy and well armored except for the big hole in his lower leg. The weapon will fall out if it is upside down, but I got an extra piece in my set that fixes the problem. Overall there is not many bad things about it. He's already requested other Tekton pieces. The only downfall is that windows are hard for him to get on and some need to be cut to be able to fit in the building designs but as long as he can build, he doesn't care if some windows are missing.』

Of course its Lego, and that means it will last forever. Anyone who is a collector, or even just wants to play with them will be thrilled with this model.』
(Factory box is sealed with scotch tape!) 『I was a little alarmed to receive a box sealed with strips of scotch type tape. I was concerned that box had been tampered with and worried about missing pieces. Seller advised that this is how Lego packages their items. Apparently often there are missing pieces and Lego will replace them for free via [...] I am sure my grandson will love this Lego set as he loves Star Wars.』

However that did not diminish the value. He had a great sense of pride in the fact he built it. After a month or so we made him disassemble it and put it away. (These are very basic, which is good.) 『These little blocks are very basic and kids can really use their imaginations when playing with them. They only problem is if yours are around the ages of my grandchildren (2,3,3,4) then the pictures in the instruction book are very difficult, if not impossible, for a small child to build. It's very easy to put in. The only problem I have with Strakk is that his head sometimes falls off. I also really like the ice axe. The ice axe even has spikes at the top. Because of his color, Strakk shines in the light. He's one of my favorite bionicles so far.』
(This is a must-get Glatorian!) 『I got Strakk a few weeks ago at a Walmart, pieced him together and started having a ton of fun with him! I would highly recommend him. If you play the Glatorian shooting game like my friends and I do, which is when the thornax hits your shield, weapon, or thornax launcher, it doesn't count. You'll find that having Strakk playing these rules isn't very nice because he doesn't have a shield. The only problem I have with Strakk is that the piece that holds his head on loves to come off. Strakk's gigantic ice axe is so cool, but it looks a little smaller on the box and is not to scale. The life counter is conveniently placed on his back. The problem I have with most of the Glatorian (especially Skrall) is that the thornax is very hard to get to - not with Strakk. IMO, Strakk is a must-get Glatorian. My daughter wanted more magnets to add to her set. She was limited by the small quantity of MagnetiX we have. When I saw these Magz, I thought they would be great to add to her collection. I should not have assumed they would be the same quality of toy. The Magnets are weaker, the balls are smaller, the bars are thiner but slightly longer and made of cheaper material, and the toy just doesn't seem to be the same quality. I bought these as a Christmas present. Not sure if I will keep them. I can't test them out on my daughter as I don't want to give the surprise away. She may like them, who knows.』

There are 3 types of pieces: straight rods; magnetic balls and fixed "x"s which are used as supports for attachment. The magnets are very powerful for their size. Grabbing for a few of them at one time is next to impossible as all the pieces try to join in the fun. We bought a box with compartments for sorting the pieces, and while this helps when starting the building process, it takes a long time to separate them out afterwards.
The instructions include a few pictures of structures that can be built, but no step by step instructions. I can't find step by step instructions on the web either, just single images. My son general makes long chains right now. I've figured out how to make most of the structures, but I don't believe I am the target audience.
Some of the pieces survived being "stolen" by a cat, which is good, but it's likely that the balls will eventually be lost based on our experiences -- they sometimes go flying when you try to detach them from the stick magnets.
