The price is really good. You can get these for about $[...] a piece, so 10 for $[...]+ is a good buy. These are all case metal and really well made. If you're familiar with Hot Wheels, then you know. There are no plastic parts. I got two sets and ever car gets played with all the time.
I hear you have to be careful if the tires come off, that kids don't stick them in their nose... otherwise, they are great.
We got this so our two year old would have a selection of cars to go with the track we got him. He's not very picky about what the cars look like so the random selection in this pack worked fine for him. Our pack was about half conventional classic cars and half futuristic/imaginative cars. Works well with the track.
The quality is great and it is an awesome gift to give to the little ones.
My son loves cars and loved the product. One of the cars broke after the first hour of play (not the sender's fault).
Too bad the sender isn't more on-the-ball with the mailing of the product! It took over 3 weeks to receive. That's a lot, even for Alaska. If you can find some one else who ships promptly, buy from them!

This is a great toy for young boys (or girls). Got it for our 4 year old nephew and he uses it all the time. It has been though a lot of use, gotten muddy and wet, and really taken a beating, but it still looks good.

This is a little more expensive than some other toys that LOOK similar, but this is the real deal and will hold up to many years of use. If you're got more than one child, you can pass it down the line, because it will hold up.

A good investment and one that will get your kid out in the yard and doing some ACTIVE!
I have 3 boys, ages 6, 4 and 2. I also have 3 of these trucks. Other toys have come and gone, some are still around but not much played with. Somehow, the appeal of these trucks never diminishes. They never get tired of them! They have been played with for years now, and are pretty beaten up, but still function perfectly--SO well built! Like I said, they are the best toys I've ever bought! Don't hesitate to buy--you can't go wrong with this one!
He loves pushing this toy out in the driveway and all around the house. He puts all kinds of crazy stuff in the bed (other cars, plastic toy food, etc...) and plays with it on and off for the whole day. A well-worth investment.
You can't go wrong with this monster truck. It's a lot bigger than you expect and the handle is the best part. Over the years I've watched all 5 of my boys struggle to drag the older model tonka dump trucks all over the place. The design is awesome since it resembles the larger heavy duty quarry trucks. And the bed is much more fun since it not only holds all the sand, dirt, and rocks, but the puppy as well. My autistic son, who also has cerebal palsy and seizures has moved more dirt with this truck than any other construction toy he owns. He loves, that as he sits; he can just reach for that handle which makes it so much easier to move around whether loaded or not.
My daughter received this truck from the "binky fairy" and thought it was MUCH BETTER than a binky!! She RACES it all over the house and it's great for carrying all of her stuff -- books, cars, refreshments, pillows, blankets, stuffed animals...it's a MUST for the modern woman!

After I ordered this Lil' Mover's Airplane, unfortunately, I realized that I could order it much cheeper through Fisher Price and recieve it within a reasonable time. Amazon offered Free Shipping, that made this toy wait to be shipped for almost 20 days. Beware of the free Shipping! it cost you more in the long run.
I went ahead and ordered directly through Fisher Price and saved 11.00. I thought Amazon was supposed to give you the best deals, evidentially not. You are taking advantage of your customers.
Since I am now aware of this happening I will be more careful, if I order through Amazon again and I will inform others to be more careful as well.

Please beware of what the prices are, who wants to spend more, 11.00 more!

1. This plane is too bulky for any kind of pretend play involving flying - so kind of beats the whole idea of buying a toy airplane!

2. The four or five pre-recorded sounds get stale in like 4 minutes.

3. There is very limited motion/activity in the toy itself.

My son has taken to using it as a storage box for his Lego mega blocks and the only thing he finds interesting in it is the people, which he has taken out and plays with separately. He also refuses to call the toy an airplane and instead calls it "car" and "truck" interchangeably.

Not worth $35. Maybe if the price were more like $10-15, it would be a nice colorful piece of plastic on wheels to add to the clutter, but definitely not worth the high price tag!!!
My daughter loves this toy with the sounds, music, and little people. After a few weeks, I thought the batteries were dying because the sounds and music started sounding a bit possessed. However, new batteries did not fix the problem. Too bad. It was a great toy and she'll still play with it, but it's just not the same without the music. I gave it 3 stars since the music died so quickly.
I purchased this for my 18 month old and two months later, he still plays with it every day. He also enjoys that LP School Bus, but I think the airplane is his favorite. He enjoys "flying" it around and making the motor sound. I recommend this toy for any toddler, especially boys.

I had it shipped to me first because I wanted to check the quality before sending it onto my great nephew. The train set is wonderful. Our grandson just loves it.It comes with many accessories to keep any child busy and hold his/her interest. The only problem I found is on the assending pieces of track, any applied pressure would cause them to collapse, which was very frustrating. To correct this, I applied double sided tape (picture hanging) to the joints and supports. It holds everything together very well.
Very good quality. I have seen better quality products in commercial settings, so this is not the top of the line. But I am sure that you have to pay a lot of money for those too. For the price this was a great product.
My nephew loves this set - it joins up well with his other sets and it's nice that this one has a lot of the small "joint" pieces that are missing in other sets. Really a great price for the quantity and quality of product in this set. Also nice that there aren't a lot of "decoration" pieces like trees, signs and people that aren't that useful. I also loved the magnetic cranks that lift cargo off the trains - although, they need a little more base weight to be more useful and the string gets caught up sometimes - so it needs improvement, but it's a great idea.
I can't say enough great things about this train set. It is well made and has enough pieces to make a very interesting layout. There are tons of things to do, the set includes a train shed, a round house, two different types of cranes, two different kinds of bridges, enough risers to elevate half the layout, a truck and trailer and two full trains.

I drilled my tracks and attached the whole set up to a board I covered with indoor/outdoor carpeting. I also glued down the risers and elevated tracks so they would not move around. The whole set up is amazingly durable and my young son regularly climbs into the set while he plays.

I shopped around for quite a while before deciding on the Melissa and Doug set but was finally convinced that it was the best value train set on the market. I eagerly recommend this set to parents looking to balance cost against play value. Your kids will love it and so will your pocketbook.

My almost 2 year old loves this train set. We had to create our own layout because my son kept tearing down the bridges, but that just means that this will keep him entertained for many years to come because we can keep changing layouts. Overall it is a great set, but it is bigger than we expected, so we have to find a place to put it!

it won't go over tall grass well, but it's fun for my four year old as far as remotes go. Feels sturdy. Now, we haven't done any type of water yet.
I have three of these in various styles (gator, shark, and stingray). Got them for my 3 grandbabies, ages 6,6,5 and they love these things. My grandson loves the fact that his controller also conrols his cousin's stingray. The granddaughter not so impressed when he makes her car do something totally different than what she had in mind.
We like this toy because it has power and is durable for the price. We haven't used it outside yet, but it climbs over things in the house that we are surprised at. The controller takes a little getting used to, but we figured it out quickly and my 4 yr old can use it easily now that he understands. I would recommend this for the combination of price, durability, ease of use (though a little tricky at first), power, and how cool it looks!
Bought this for my grandson. He loves it. Lots of Fun. Plays with it in a creek that passes through his family's property. Can play with it anywhere, either onl and or lakeside/ocean side.
I purchased both this Gator Morphibian Radio Control car and the Land Shark for my two kids for Christmas. My son is 4-1/2 and my daughter is 3. They are both able to use the controllers with little difficulty now that they have had more practice. Knowing which knob to push to turn the cars left and right was a little tricky at first but they are getting the hang of it. The best thing is that both kids can use both cars at the same time without any problems with the radio frequencies interfering with each other. These cars are pretty tough and can withstand being driven into walls and each other, driven over ramps made out of stacked up books, and even withstand being flipped upside down. We have yet to try them outside as we have about 10 inches of snow right now! I gave one of these as a birthday gift to a 4 year old friend of my son who loves it as well. His mother asked where I purhased it so she could get another one for her other son. I would recommend these cars if you are looking for something fun for your kids (or husband...mine enjoys playing with them as well). The educational value is not overly high in the traditional sense but these cars do work on visual motor, visual perception and problem solving skills.

I've purchased several wooden trains for use on my son's wooden railway and I have been quite impressed with the quality of the Thomas and Friends Trains. They are very well made and use large plastic wheels that run easily over small imperfections in the track.

As with most character goods, the Thomas and Friends Trains come at a premium price, but careful shopping can sometimes net a bargain and I recommend you seek these toys out over lower priced rivals. They are worth the extra time and trouble to get.

ok i never imagined how tiny this train was, until I saw it. Definitely not worth the money. I wouldn't have bought it. And my son was not that much interested in a small thomas whatsoever.
My son got this wooden train as part of a set on his first birthday. He is now eight, and although there's a little paint missing, the engine is still going, and the Thomas trains still hold tremendous appeal. The wooden tracks are nice to play with, although I wish the whole thing were better engineered, so that when you pulled a train around the tracks, they actually stayed on better. In the end, they are pretty indestructible and wooden toys just have a kind of feel that you can never get with plastic.
When I bought it online I thought it was a bit expensive. But it's good quality and my daughter loves it! She takes it everywhere with her and is constantly asking for "Thomas"!

My son got these for his 2 year birthday and he absolutely LOVES them. He is Cars and train obsessed and these still are one of his favorite things to play with. I bought them specifically for outdoor play so these are what to go the park, sandbox, and pool. The sandbox is the favorite venue for the trucks and he'll sit there for an hour just playing with them.

They are plastic but very durable. They've been crushed under the stroller, thrown, dropped.. the cement mixer part pops off the easiest, but it goes back on just as easily. No cracking after 5 months of hard play.

Not only that, but they are very cheap. I got these at Toys R Us in pack for $10. Not as good as some have said, but it's still totally worth it for all the hours of enjoyment he's had.
I bought these for my truck-obsessed son when he was 9 1/2 months old. From the minute I took them out of the package, they have been his absolute favorite toy (he is now 14 months). They are the perfect size for little hands - most truck toys are simply too big and/or too heavy for a younger toddler. They are extremely durable and able to zip across wood floor or carpet with impressive speed. I don't usually submit reviews, but am such a fan of this product that I had to spread the word!
These trucks are so much fun. They are also easy to take along to the park, sandbox, in the car, on trips, etc. My son has played with these everyday from when he was 12 months until now (20 months) and they are a favorite toy! I highly recommend them!!
It arrived in time for my grandson's first birthday. He loves them and they are small enough to carry in his baby bag.
My son received these as a gift when he turned 2 years old. His pleasure was instant and lasting. Back then we got a kick out of his insistence on trying to carry all three trucks at once when it was time to leave the house.

At 3.5 years old, he still plays with them; His younger brother likes them, too. These trucks go outside, in the bathtub, in the car. They're sturdy yet lightweight, so they wouldn't hurt much if one were chucked at a sibling's head.

The pieces can be disassembled (loader, mixer and dumper are removable) and we have reassembled them countless times and they still fit and operate perfectly. Highly recommended.

The review below was written by my 13 year old son.

This is a great remote controlled helicopter! My only concern is that the first one I bought was a defective. I flew it twice and the top rotor snapped right off. But then I returned it and got another and this one is working perfectly fine.

For those of you who live in a place with high altitude such as 7000 ft. just to take a little weight off your shoulders, it will work perfectly fine.

I do not suggest that you buy this for very small kids. They must be gentle because this helicopter certainly is not indestructible even though it is tough for a little helicopter.

This is a great helicopter and for those of you who want a low cost flying R/C this is perfect! Enjoy!

It may be cheaper from stores near you.

P.S You probably will need a reasonably large space to fly it in, like a living room.

You get about what you pay for. With a little practice you can fly these things. But the remote doesn't have anywhere near the range advertised. You have 20 feet max then they drop like a rock. I would recommend them for a cheap way to enjoy SHORT flights.

And durable, we've flown it regular for the last 6 months. Ours has had some VERY hard crashes; many of them I thought "It's broke!", but it still flies great. I thought it was easy to learn, just takes a light and steady touch on the throttle, and just a TAP to "steer", that is rotate the direction you want to go. Launch away from walls, the rotor "wash" will pull it in. For the first minute, the power fluctuates some, then, it hits a "sweet spot" for several minutes. I can keep it flying the whole flight time (when one of our cats doesn't knock it down!). Don't be afraid to crash either. If it looks bad, best to kill the throttle and let it fall. Don't fly near people or animals' faces, use common sense; like anything, it could do harm if it hit someone, or something in the eyes. It helps to add weight to the front, a small piece of wire and some tape will do it. I wouldn't push something into the body, as a tack, it could damage the battery. You want just enough weight move ahead slow, experiment! You'll learn to work the "trim"; as the battery wears each flight, when you notice it start to turn on it's own, just a quick TAP the OPPOSITE way on the trim button to compensate will keep it straightened out; dynamic adjustment! One thing omitted from the instruction manual is you have to turn the handset on, to charge the copter. Make sure the copter is "OFF"&cooled down, then plug in the wire, it's small,&sometimes it takes a little wiggle, to keep the green charge light on. When the batteries get too weak in the controller, the red LED will look like it's pulsing, and it may not want to charge the copter. I like using rechargeable batteries in it. Another "hazard" is if the copter gets "out of sight" of the controller, as a fall behind a sofa. It 'remembers' the last command, so if that's throttle, it'll keep spinning until it "sees" the controller again. Just buy it!!!
Terrible. I bought this for my 6 year old niece for her birthday. It was very flimsy and never worked from day one. Do NOT waste your money on this.

My daughter got it for her 4th birthday. She LOVES it! She can change tires, she can make combinations from the three cars. She just loves them. So much that she now has different ones on her wishlist.

I have since been giving them to many children and they too have loved it.

They are a durable wood, which isn't easy to break. The ties come off easily and are easy to lose, but you get spare ones.
I have waned to buy these for a long time, but I fought the urge until my son was old enough. He absolutely loves these. They may not have electronic noises, flashing lights or even laser, but what they do have is good old imaginative play mechanics.

They are well made and should last for as long as he wants to play with them. I am considering getting another set so that he can create more of his own car-creations.

We are completely pleased with Automoblox Mini's. At first we thought that they were a little expensive but after receiving them we were immediately impressed with the quality. Very durable, educational and even beautiful. I definitely don't mind keeping these on our shelves but they have never stayed there more than a few hours! My sons 4 and 5, as well as my third child (my husband), agree that this is one of their favorite toys and we will be purchasing again for upcoming birthdays! I would suggest buying two packs for more options for car building. One of the best toy purchases we have ever made.

This ship from the new Star Trek movie is GREAT. The lights are 10x brighter than any of the old ships. The sounds are high quality, but they don't have enough of the different sayings like the original NCC-1701. This says 4 different things and that is it. BUT....the sounds with the lighting are tremendous ! Well worth the money !
Good Model, but the Old Enterprise made of DIAMOND is better, but it is cool have the two models, I will put some pictures.
This is the JJ-Prise from the new movie. If you wanted that then buy this. If not then move along this is not the starship you are looking for.

Not to mention that they made a toy model when no model was built for the movie it was a computer graphic digitally generated image.
I have been waiting for this toy since it was announced, and you can imagine my disappointment:

The box is about twice the size of the ship. So you end up buying a very tinny Enterprise.
The overall quality of the toy is virtually non-existent, cheap plastic, cheap finishing touches, semi painted saucer bottom, lights come out from everywhere -not only from where they are supposed to come out from. All in all, it's a poorly made replica.

My deflector was also broken, so I think it's not about being careful opening the box, as some one else commented.

Unfortunately kids and adults are probably going to buy them anyway. There are other Star Trek Enterprise replicas out there (not from the 2009 movie, though) and most of them are just beautiful. So I can only say this: Paramount, pick some one else to make your toys, your 2009 movie deserves a great set of toys, certainly not the ones you are selling.
I just got this at Target for $30 and it is worth the money. I like to sound that sounds like and alarm. When I hear it, I say like Kirk "Trouble on the Spaceboard". I have this displayed on my nightstand. I got this today with a Kirk glass from BK. The food was yummy so thank you for asking. I recomend this for Trekkies and fans of the new Star Trek film. So if you haven't seen it see it. And if you have see it again. I gotta go and remember Live Long and Prosper.
