We just added this to my son's ever growing collection of Thomas and Friends and he loves it.
My 3 yr old loves Toby and was very happy to have received the "Old Teapot" for Christmas this year. He looks great!

My child loves this Toby engine. It has held up remarkable well to drops and other mishaps. All the paint is still intact after several months of use. Overall we are quite pleased with the purchase. Keep an eye out at your local Target for markdowns; we purchased several of the engines for less than four dollars.

I am usually a stickler about one type of toy from my child but because of entertainment reasons my child has a few of these Take Along Thomas toys. We love the wooden ones and want to keep them at home because of the price we don't want to see them lost.

My young daughter wishes everything could be pink so this Automoblox was just the perfect gift. All of our Automoblox are marvelous toys and I highly recommend them. They are made so well and I know will last for another generation. Be careful, you won't want just one!
Girls just want to have fun and they will with their own pink coupe that is absolutely superior in quality and provides hours of fun as they change out the wheels or recreate the body of the car. Fabulous toy for little ones with inquiring minds!
My 4 year old daughter LOVES this car. I only wish I had found it sooner! It is very durable and moves so smoothly. Highly recommended!!!
These cars are fun to mix and match to create your own vehicle. All parts are interchangeable and the colors are cool. The pieces are durable too. Great quality and small children, older children and adults love them too!
I bought the Automoblox blue sedan for my son last year when he was 8. He has played with it all year and this year asked for the "whole collection". My daughter played with his car too, and this year she's getting this pink sport coupe and the purple one too so she can mix and match the pieces (she's 6). These cars are great for small kids and big kids too!

My 5-year-old asked for a Handy Manny Tool Truck after playing with one on play dates this winter. We wondered if he would get bored with it and did not encourage him regarding the toy. But by the time spring came around, he still wanted one for his (5th) birthday. He was really happy to get it, and plays constantly with it. He loves transforming and untransforming it, and he loves fixing the various items. After his birthday, he played with it for days. Now he'll let it sit a couple of days and then go back to it with vigor. My son does a lot of pretend play along with this toy, and he can now teach other friends how to use the toy, which brings him to a new level of play and learning.
My son cannot get enough of Handy Manny. He got this truck from Santa. He likes it, but does not play with it as much as he does his other Handy Manny toys. He actually plays with it more when my 6 year old starts playing it, but I think it is more from the sibling rivalry standpoint rather than true desire to play with it. It is cumbersome to assemble as the workbench, then to put back together as a truck. My son definitely needs help in changing it from one mode to the other, which frustrates him. If you are hedging between the large tool box or this, definitely opt for the tool box.
My (almost) 3 year-old received this for Christmas and it was an instant hit. He loved the idea of being able to "fix" things. The truck itself is a good size, sturdy and kind of heavy. The cab piece, however, pops off VERY easily and doesn't serve much of a purpose. I can't figure out why it's removeable in the first place. The hood opens up to reveal different engine parts, and the back opens to create a work bench.

Pros:
* Working with the tools - ok, Felipe the Screwdriver. My son figured out how to work the screwdriver in no time flat&loves it.
* Teaches parts of the engine. My son said to me, "We need to flush the radiator" and I almost laughed.
* Sense of accomplishment my son feels when he "fixes" something.
* You can press a button to receive instruction, which my son will actually follow. "This is Mr. Lopart. My fan is broken", etc."

Cons:
* None of the other tools really work besides the screwdriver. The wrench is impossible to turn in the small spaces between the items on the work bench&inside the hood. The pliers are also hard to work. The saw serves no purpose except to saw a fake piece of wood that you can put inside a vice grip. There is a place where the vice grip attaches to the bench, but there isn't a way to secure it. Once you begin to saw, it falls off.
* The phone is non-functional. You're supposed to attach it to a holder on above the bench, and press it to ring&hear from Kelly, et, al. But the phone doesn't stay put! (The button to hear from the "phone" is actually on the wall of the bench, not the phone itself.)
* Difficult to close the bench back up. It has to be done a certain way&the back pieces have to be slammed together just right to stay shut. My son isn't able to do it.

Overall, I find the toy just "ok" but my son likes playing with it. He usually pulls it out while watching Handy Manny and likes to work along with the show. If you have a Handy Manny fan, I'd say get it. If not, some other type of play tool set may be better.
My son does love this truck after Christmas he played with it constantly for the first few days and he still plays with it everyday but now it is only for a few minutes because he gets frustrated because the cab keeps falling off the back keeps opening the only tool that actually works well with the few repairs is the philips head screwdriver Philepe the pliers (squeeze) don't really grip onto anything the was is only used for a piece of plastic wood it is very cheap plastic I can see this breaking sooner than later I am very disappointed the tires seem to stick when you push it I would bring it back but my son does like to play with it so I guess I am stuck and will have to deal with it when it finally completely breaks but the way it is going my son will probably lose interest in it before that because like I said everyday he plays with it less and less and just gets more and more frustrated with it
I bought this based on the good reviews I read at amazon. My 2 1/2 yr old loves it. One of his favorite xmas toys. He loves to "fix" things with his tools, so this was a the perfect toy, he actually feels like he's fixing stuff and the talking aspect is cool as well.

The toy comes with numerous "cool" details. The trap door, swing, movable stairs, and pulley system are all great fun for my grandson. What was NOT great fun was putting this together. First, a major piece was missing, which prevented the tree from being put together for my grandson in time for Easter. A big disappointment! Then, these have to be some of the WORST directions we have ever encountered. If it wasn't for the picture on the box, we would still be wrestling with it.The holes are not always drilled out completely, preventing the screws from going in. Also, it is not real stable. The one platform, which is separate from the rest, is wobbly. The stairs are supposed to be pulled up to the second story and kept there with the help of magnets. The platform moves, and the stairs drop down. Maybe if the magnets were stronger, it would help. But it is very frustrating for him when he plays with this aspect of the toy.There should have been another piece to anchor the platform in place and keep it from moving. I can see that this part would be broken easily if any pressure was placed on it. We may have to do some gluing and supporting to keep this toy from being broken.
My daughter is five years old and has a great imagination and absolutely loves this tree house. She will have many years of play, and use of her imagination and development. This is such an amazing play item and would recommend it to any parent to purchase. It's taller than my daughter and she's 43" tall and plays for hours on end. It was a christmas present, thank ~ you Melissa and Doug for creating such wonderful toys, also to create and celebrate on the excellent pricing of this item, it's very hard to find and quite pricey if you don't do searching on the net. $68.00 was a steal of a price for such a well made item.
I have four children ages 3-13. This toy was purchased for the children under age 5 however all my children have enjoyed this toy. I purchased some animals to use in the tree house, gorilla, tiger, bear, etc. They have their own little "Tarzan" theme going on right at home. They love the trap doors, stairs, ladders and all the peices that they can move. We even had animals swinging from the tree limbs. This is definately a big hit. My only concern is the durability. A few of the tree "trunks" are a bit wobbly. We tightened all the screws and can't seem to get them tight enough. With 4 active kids, we'll have to see how long this lasts.
This toy has been a great addition to my preschool classroom, the children love to use it. It's completely wooden with a real "tree" feel, which works great for my naturalistic program. The tree is also big enough for 3-4 children to use at the same time. However, on one occasion one of the children using the toy fell onto the stick that is intended for the tire swing to hang from, and it landed right below her eye leaving a nasty welt--a couple inches higher and it would have gone into her eye. I would strongly suggest removing that particular piece from the toy! We cut it off&hung the tire swing from the ladder, it's worked just fine. I'll be contacting the company to suggest making this a long term change!

Assembly was a bit difficult, but not terrible. All required hardware was included. Most Melissa and Doug toys can stand up to just about anything. This toy has taken a lot of abuse (as all toys do in a preschool environment!) and the base has stood up well. However, the swing fell apart within the first week&was impossible to repair, and the stairs jam on occasion. These are minor issues, compared to the overall quality of the toy, but should be taken into consideration. I looked at a number of options before purchasing this tree house, and feel that even despite these flaws this is still the best wooden tree house on the market.
My kids love this treehouse. Great for encouraging little imaginations. I love it because it's a nice-looking item (as opposed to some giant, plastic cheap-looking toy) and not an eye-sore in the family room.

I got these for my grand kids at Christmas. They are age 2 1/2 and loved them. They could take them apart and re-assemble them and enjoy playing with them as toy vehicles. Well constructed and a good value. I will purchase similar items for them in the future.
My 3-year-old son loves this little truck. I got it for him as a step up from the mega blocks cars&trucks (they have 3 parts, and he loved to mix and match them).

This truck has 12 pieces - three wooden "body" parts (4 1/2 inches long assembled), four wheels (about 3/4 inch each), four rubbery tires, and 1 windshield. As I understand it, these parts should be interchangeable with other autos in the minis series. There are also "repair" kits available, which I think my little guy will really enjoy since he already likes tinkering with the parts he has.

So far he only has one Automoblox, but we're planning to add a few to his collection. The pieces seem very solid, and I think it will last for quite a while as long as we don't lose any! If you have smaller siblings around, just beware - the wheels&tires on this are pretty small! Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of this truck, and my son loves it!

this a a good product, I have added 2 of these to my collection I have a number for each bus I have, these are school buses #25 and #36 that I have added to my fleet. A nice collectors gift.
My two and a half year old twin boys love these school buses. The only complaint is the mirrors on the sides fell right off. But other than that, they are completely fun for them and very realistic.

Our 4-year-old loves the Cars movie, and on Weekend mornings he listens to Car Talk on NPR, hosted by the Tapper(?) brothers, known as Click&Clack. In the movie, they are the voices of Dusty and Rusty Rust-Eze...which helps gives them an added personality for my son to reference. He owns about 20 of the diecast metal cars characters from the movie and enjoys them all.
If you are looking for Pixar Cars this is the product for you. My kids have been playing with these for a long time and they still enjoy them. Highly recommended.
i bought this as a gift for my grandson. he loves "cars" and had several of the characters on his birthday wish list. it is hard to find any of the more recent cars in the stores, so i was excited to find that several were available on amazon. this purchase arrived quickly, in perfect condtion and made one little boy very happy. thank you.

I like Automoblox cars very much and own a bunch of them. These toys are beautifully designed and well made. I like that the parts can be swapped between different vehicles in the collection.

This particular toy, Automoblox A9-S white convertible, is my least favorite one. The thing that makes it least favorite is that the windshield is made of NON_TRANSPARENT white plastic making it look silly, in my opinion. All other cars in the collection feature transparent cabin.
We first received an Automoblox as a gift, and I immediately went to Amazon to learn more about them. They really appeal to me as a mother and I wanted more. They are a little more pricey than what I usually want to pay for a toy but since they are made so well then they won't be thrown in the trash. When we pack an activity bag to visit grandparents, I like to carry a couple of our Automoblox with us. It gets people involved on the floor with the unique concept of the parts interchanging and the great feel of the smooth wood and sturdy pieces. This little white convertible was one that my little daughter was fascinated with while I was doing some looking on Amazon. It is a super addition to our collection.

(My sons loves this plane)

I bought this for my 4 year old son and he loves it. Be warned - if there's any kind of breeze you may wish to wait until you get to a big field or park before you launch this plane! My husband and son launched it in our front yard and it swirled around for a good 3 minutes 50 ft in the air, threatening to land on any number of neighborhood rooftops! Loads of fun, recommend this.
We purchased three of these planes. Two of them fly pretty well and one of them immediately dives to the ground each and every time.
This is a great toy for the price. I take it out with my 6 and 5 year old and we have a fun time. The plane flies for quite a long time. Sometimes it dives right into the ground, so it's not perfect, but so far it's been very durable. Again, for the price, this toy is great!
We purchased this product for a 6 year old who asked for a remote controlled airplane. The first launch was less than spectacular but once we re-read the directions and corrected the charging time, the next flight took off and went all over the yard. Our nephew squealed with delight and claimed this was the coolest thing he ever seen. You need LOTS of open space when using it though. A small backyard with trees won't do. Take it to a school yard or other large field.

One problem with this particular model is the color. It easily gets lost so we had to buy a couple of replacements. It needs some neon stripping or something to help find it in the grass. We're afraid to add anything that would throw off the balance and ability to stay in flight.

Otherwise, this is a great toy - enjoyed by the kids and adults.
This plane is very simple to use. It flies for a good 30 seconds on one charge. But it only takes 10 seconds to charge it. My son loves it. I bought two, because I was concerned about durability. But so far, so good.
