(It`s great to be a Kid.)

My Nephew gets great enjoyment out of his racing set. It is a great addition to his set that he currently has. It`s hard to find cars that aren`t over priced and the track helps to replace the pieces that have broken over time. I highly reccommend this if you already have a set. Need cars or additional pieces or as a starter set for a younger boy.
My nephew is 9 years old. Have fun playing with this toy it lets you remember when you were a child again.

These toys don't "do" anything--they are "kid-driven!" Exactly what we wanted for our 6-year old son. He has had hours of fun with them (I have, too; those train sets are fun for all ages). They are durable. I gave the "educational" part 3 stars, only because one must use imagination with them. Good product.
If your child enjoys acting out the Thomas&Friends series, Rusty is a hard-at-work, heavy-duty diesel. He is a small orange diesel who pulls a dumper that carries removable sand cargo that can work with Cranky or other Thomas cranes. The cement mixer is unique. It spins as it is pulled, almost as if it is mixing cement.

To "build" the fun, you can make buildings and bridges with Legos, Lincoln logs, or even the new Sodor blocks sets, and Rusty will bring the construction supplies you need.

To "build" the fun even more, you can expand the Thomas wooden rail and road system with the new Cement Works, as well as Jack and Alfie from the construction crew. Then your construction series will be complete. Rusty is a perfect addition to the Thomas wooden rail and road system. After all, he's the one who helps build them!
What I meant by my title is that I already had Rusty and I just wanted the Construction Cars. The cars sway from side to side and they can survive a lot of damage. I was suprised at how durable these were. The sets are a lot of fun because you don't need any additional things to go with it for immediate fun. These toys are really good for a car trip to keep a child busy when they are bored. I would higly recommend getting this set but don't buy Rusty first.
Rusty is great. i got him as a present for christmas one year he has 3 cars - rusty a dumper and a cement mixer you can use him with cranky or anything with a magnet. he is also in some episodes on a video.
The Thomas&Friends wooden railroad gives you Rusty and 2 Construction Cars. This set provides hours of fun for your children because they can use this set to recreate stories about Rusty and his construction fun. Its educational value shows children how man-made things are built and they will probably use this set with thier Lincoln Logs and other construction kits. This is also a very sturdy set, but sometimes the mixer's top will come off and will need a frequent fix-up! Other than that, it's a wonderful set and a great gift idea!

(Bad Design / Great Idea)
This is a really cool piece! Cranky pivots 180 degress, retrieves cargo from the trains, and can distribute it elsewhere with help. My son has thoroughly enjoyed playing with this. For play value, it's definitely worth the money.
My 3 year old son loves his "Cranky the Crane". He had been asking for it for months, but I never found it available. As soon as he got it, all other trains were left on the back burner for his longly awaited "Cranky". We travelled and had to take Cranky on a 7 hour flight (a bit bulky for the travel). Overall he loves it.
After reading some questionable reviews on this product I was trepidious about purchasing it. But gosh, what's the point of having a Thomas the train set if you can't have the island of sodor staples like cranky?! So I took the $50 plunge. I waited a bit before posting my own review to see if I'd have any of the problems previously mentioned. We've had none.
I must say I'm thirlled to have cranky as he's too cute and his design encourages unique motor skills by forcing my son to "work" at lifting cargo as opposed to pressing a button. Both important factors in my book.

My 3 yr old grandson loves cranky. He understood the wind up and wind down handle right away. Great gift to go with his train set. I love the extra pieces that completed this crane. I would purchase again in a minute.
I'm no engineer, but I know I could've designed a toy that works better than Headless Cranky. Yes, the head falls off ALL the time. I'm talking once every 5 minutes, and the more it happens, the looser the connection gets. What's worse is that no glue I've found seems to hold it on, super-glue or no. However, glue does a great job of gooping up the string if you're not careful.

Also disappointing is the way it works when it's head IS attached. It doesn't spin all the way around if you keep cranking, but why not? It's not rocket science to have a hand crank that spins a toy around continuously.

The crank that operates the string should work the same way. Once the string is wound up, continuing to crank should let the string out again, then wind it up again. Maybe I'm nit-picking, but a $[...] toy should function way better than this. If the head stayed on, I could be more objective.

My son doesn't play much with Cranky because of this defect. Too bad. It was a great idea for a toy.

I bought this set for my nephew to play with when he comes to my house. I had fun playing with it and he hasn't even been over yet. You get a lot of track and two tunnels, which I think is good for the price. I bought extra cars because I didn't think an engine and one car was much of a train. This turned out to be a good plan because the train can't switch from one track to the other - the train goes around only one circle, not both, unless you manually move it. Overall, I love this set.
Based on the classic story, "Rusty and the Boulder." Thumper sets Boulder into motion, rolling down the mountain and along the track until it knocks over the deserted building. This 35-piece set has a $145 total value. Includes Boulder, Thumper, Rusty, Oliver and Mountain.

I bought replacement main&tail rotors for my Air Hog R/C helicoptor I have. I've not yet had to replace them, so can't really rate their performance, but they look fine.
Rotor was broken upon arrival. Too inexpensive to return. No worth my time to package up and send back.
Blade wasn't exactly as pictured but it worked. Top blade is just counterweigts. A little heavier than original so it bogs down just a bit now.
I have been very pleased with this replacement rotor for my mini-helicopter (I think it's a Havoc but the box doesn't say)! I received and installed the new rotor and my heli flies just as well as it did before and the new rotor does seem to take much more abuse without falling apart like the original one did.

Contrary to some opinions, I found that the new rotor is easy to replace using two medium length needle nose pliers.

1. WITHOUT HOLDING THE BODY OF THE HELICOPTER, grip the metal shaft that is visible between the body and black plastic of the currently installed rotor with one pair of pliers

NOTE: If you try and hold just the foam body of the helicopter you risk damaging the gears, body, and rotor shaft.

2. WITHOUT TOUCHING THE HELICOPTER BODY and while continuing to grip the metal rotor shaft (grip tightly, if the pliers slip they can damage the body), use the other pair of pliers to grip the plastic shaft attached to the rotor blades and gently slide up and off the metal shaft.

3. While continuing to grip the metal rotor shaft with the first pair of pliers, insert the metal shaft into the plastic hole of the new rotor.

4. Carefully but firmly press the new rotor into place taking care not to bend or stress the metal shaft.

Voila, you should be ready to rock and roll! The complete replacement process took me about 45 seconds.
I bought this after crashing my Air Hogs Havoc Heli into a wooden block, which broke its main rotor and also managed to knock something loose in/near the internal motor (side note: avoid air hogs products for this reason...go with a syma fairy or picco z). Anyway, the replacement rotor fit great...all I had to do was pry off the original one (no eaasy task, by the way) and this one fit snugly.
This is a replacement main drive rotor blade for the Mini Heli Infrared Indoor Helicopter, Bell Heli IR Indoor RC Helicopter, Picco Z, Havoc Heli and clones. It is a good idea to keep a spare rotor on hand to let you keep flying in case yours is damaged in a crash. If you lose the little silver weights in the top stabilizer you'll need to purchase a new rotor blade. When I saw the steering wheel on this tractor, I just assumed it would be larger. That is my own fault for not checking the specs.

The toy is really small. When you turn the wheel it feels like it could break off. The wheels make a clicking sound when it is moved, so be prepared to be for some noise!

Neat rock blocks for the scooper on the tractor.
It's a shame how far from the old Tonka metal toys this line of toys has come. Honestly this thing isn't worth the 3 stars that I gave it. Tonka toys use to closely resemble the real machine but this thing is just awful. It cheap plastic and the arms are incredibly filmsy. When we put it into my son's toybox, it came back out all warped up where something else had been sitting on it. You can't even use it now.

We bought the whole line of Tonka Wheel Driver's at Christmas and have been disappointed with everyone of them. There are other better Tonka toys out there.
Our son loved the toy, but the wheels are too noisy for us. It's almost impossible to watch TV when he is playing with it in the living room.

I bought this for my 4 year old who loves tractors. It was a great big hit with him and me. He played with it almost everyday and then finally the grader thing in the back broke off. No big deal, he still loves it!!
Great, fast service. Bruder toys are of great quality and stand up to a lot of hard playing. They are large enough to enhance the illusion of the "real thing," so the kids really like them. We have bought other Bruders and will buy more.
I bought this toy for my 2.5 year old nephew. The description made it seem like this toy would be suitable for this age range. When it arrived I realized this toy is more for older children (4-5 yrs). It is not very large nor does it look very inviting. Too much $$ for what you get.

This is a great addition to my son's train table. He loves it! It teaches him a bit about recycling as well. The only complaint I have is we're always looking for the tires that go in the car, but I think it is cool that they come out. The bins in the back car swing back and forth, which is a nice touch. We plan to purchase the recycling center to go along with these cars. These are some of my son's favorite cars (aside from all the engines!)
The engines on the Island of Sodor know the importance of recycling, and this is a great way to teach your child about recycling, too. The first car is a troublesome truck who carries used tires. Please note: various other small cargo boxes (like the ones in the cargo transfer station sold separately) can also fit inside the troublesome truck. The second car has bins for cans, paper, and bottles, which sway and spin around. I recommend adding these cars to your collection if you would like to attach these to an engine for important recycling jobs.
I like this set. It has a cute appearance, and gives the child a two piece train that they can take apart and snap together again. Watch the barrels if you have small children. They can be easily put in the mouth (My son proved that).
