(fun time) 『These cars were bought for young adults, in their early 20's, and they had such a blast with them. I was quite pleased to see they were bigger than I thought and they are very durable. It is fun to listen and see the driver go flying. I think it was well worth the price.』

Does need lots of batteries and since the kids played with it non-stop the batteries needed replaced several times during the day. Chargeable batteries would be a good idea for this toy. The plastic parts {front wheels, side mirrors} are so fragile they broke few minutes after taking it out of the box. I bought this bridge online (not from amazon.com) and the description said that it didn't come with ascending tracks, so I bought ascending tracks separately. Well, it turns out that the bridge actually *did* come with a pair of ascending tracks! Also, I bought a male-to-male connector separately because I thought that the 2 bridge pieces could not connect directly to one another, to form one long bridge - once I got the bridge, though, I found that you *can* actually connect the 2 bridge pieces together without using a separate connector..all you have to do is remove one of the supporting blocks (underneath the track) from one of the bridge ends. Each bridge has removable supporting blocks on both ends, so there's a ton of configurations you can come up with. If you have ascending track risers (which do *not* come with the bridge), you can connect the bridges with regular straight track<- if you do this, you can also put track underneath the connecting straight track so that trains can go underneath the bridge without any clearance problems. So many possibilities with this bridge... Not only that, but the bridge is very sturdy, very well-built. This bridge was such a great buy for me and my son!』

(great bridge) 『my 2yo twin boys are in love with this double-span bridge, which comes with 2 ascending tracks. the only caveat i have is that the two bridge pieces don't connect to each other (you need a male-male connector to do so, and that isn't included), and combined, the bridge&ascending track combo is too long for our nilo train table. so we just use the one track, or configure the tracks so that there's a bridge in 2 separate areas. otherwise the bridge is great - very durable and my boys love it.』

He didn't want the carrying case for a while but was having a difficult time carrying all six at one time. I suggested that he put the trucks in their "garage" to carry the trucks. Since then, the set has been inseparable.

We found them much less versatile than advertised -- with $65 worth of cars you can build one version of a stretch sedan. Not very interesting. Also they are much harder to "rebuild" than it appears -- a circle/square/star/triangle locking system means that a) you can't reverse the pieces, and b) you have to remove the connector from one, maybe two ends, before you can connect them. You can put the pieces together upside down -- but then the car doesn't roll (wouldn't it be cool if you could convert them from "high riders" to "low riders"?). The connectors have a squeeze piece that 5 year old hands can't manipulate so she can't do it herself. We didn't find that this provided (as the instructions said) "a welcome level of complexity". Also the people in the car each fit into exactly one location -- their bottoms are round/square/star/triangle.
I'm afraid this is one of those toys that appeals to adults but doesn't work out for kids. We've gotten a lot more use out of two 1:18 scale love bug cars that were about $10.

(Love Automoblox (but pricey)) 『This was one of the first Automoblox cars I purchased. The others were a Blue Sedan and a Green Truck.
The fit and finish is very nice. he wooden body is nicely detailed with grooves and small decals for the brand, logo, and car model.
I like that the parts are interchangeable which promotes creativity.

My son likes to push the car around but presses it down and we've been worried about the axles snapping as he does this, but after a year of that they are holding up just fine! (Mac got Tacked) 『As far as fun goes, My son Loves it. Quality on the other had is a different story. Mac's trailer pin broke after two minutes of play time.
I had to find a bigger screw to replace the tiny one that just pulled through the plastic on Mac's trailer. I can't really complain about the little rollers in Mac, afterall if a kid can find a way to break little plastic parts he will.
All in all, it gets played with every day.』

My son pinched his hand closed in it and I had to put pressure on it to separate it enough for him to remove his skin from it. Within minutes one of the spare tires had come loose (not good since we have a 1 year old running around). A few minutes later the tool box came unglued and fell out. Later in the day one of the shower parts popped off. Overall I would not suggest this toy. I really wish I would have gotten the Mac hauler or some other Mac toy. This one is not impressive at all!』
