(kidkraft garage and crane train set) 『I looked at several different wooden train sets for my two-year old, including the popular Thomas the Tank Engine. I felt that the Thomas train set was overpriced and too fussy looking (especially the train table!) and there have been quite a few recalls for lead scares with that company as well. Kid Kraft is a reputable brand that has a disclaimer on their site that notes that there have been no recalls with their products and that they use sustainable materials for their construction. Plus, I liked the European look and feel of the set. My two-year old loves it!』

My son needs Sir Handel because they often work together and help each other.My son needs both Sir Handel and Peter Sam when playing for specific scene. And it is based on a story of Thomas Friend. I finally ordered it because my son and Peter sam need great friend, Sir Handel!』

If you have little kids you have to watch for choking. It would be good to go through them and check for the loose pieces and glue them in. Otherwise for the cost they were great and it was fun to be able to make a large train track.』

(A little on the weak side...) 『I ordered this 100pc. wooden track set for my son this Christmas to coordinate with his Thomas the Tank Engine stuff. For the most part, the tracks do work well with the name brand ones. Sometimes the holes or pegs are too big or small and lead to frustration in my 3yo engineer. In addition, some of the pegs have fallen out already (about 10, 1 mo later). I'm sure they can be fixed with some wood glue though. I was surprised that the tracks were mailed in just the one box, no packaging, no bag and no picture of what was inside. I suppose that's good for the environment, right? (New Friends coming Thomas' way!) 『Dennis is one of Thomas' new friends featured in Season 9 and "Tales from the Tracks" video and DVD. Dennis is a very lazy diesel engine. When he first arrived, Sir Topham Hatt had given Thomas the day off. Dennis saw that his jobs were hard, so he lied and got Thomas to do his work for him. Then Dennis pretended to break down and Thomas helped him. Much later, Thomas is enjoying his day off and Dennis crashes. He honks his horn for help but Thomas doesn't hear he finds him and Dennis tells Thomas that he's sorry he made everything up. Thomas tells Dennis that he is a really useful engine for telling the truth. Soon Thomas and Dennis become friends. (Baking Powder Sub-Fun~) 『I actually bought this as a surprise for my little grandson. He saw one in the gift shop at Georgia Aquarium. He didn't buy it and really wanted one.
