This set claims to be compatible with Thomas Train. Well for the most part it is, but not 100%, especially if you plan on using Thomas Engine motorized. There are some other drawbacks as well. The track is metric and slightly narrower than true Thomas track so Thomas cars don't fit completely down into the grooves. The supplied Chinese cars that come with this set do fit better, though their quality is not even close as good as Thomas brand. The bridge in the center of photo shown is positioned too close to the "downhill" slope of track and taller cars will not fit underneath it. Because the track is slightly narrower, motorized Thomas Tank Engine, especially, tends to run off of the track and will not stay on. I removed the "rubber band" edging on the front wheels only which allowed more slippage and kept Thomas Engine on the track more reliably. I know this set is not really intended per say for Thomas otorized engine, but a Thomas brand set would work much better being Thomas brand track is wider, and deeper grooved. You get what you pay for as they say, and if I had to do it over again, I'd spent the extra money and went authentic Thomas brand. Also, the crane has a small wooden dowel that sticks into a hole with no latching or locking it in so my two year-old pulls the crane out regularly. After using some extra Thomas track I had laying around, I modified the layout enough to position the bridge farther down toward the front over the flat portion of the "downsloped" piece so that the cars would fit under the bridge and then glued the entire set down to make it all permanent. If you're a handy type, you can tweak it to work decent, but if i had it to do over knowing what I know now, I'd just paid the extra for genuine Thomas brand stuff. The wheels ont the Chinese cars are not attached as well either as on the Thomas brand, so if you're like me with another smaller child to be in the room as well, you might want to avoid any possiblilty of loose wheels and stick with Thomas brand, which is much higher quality, and the wheels seem to be actually round, and attached in safer fashion. Other than that, my 2+ year old doesn't know the difference and has a ball playing all day with it. If you're just buying it to use the cars included as a push only set, it's definately fine for that.
This was a Christmas gift (2008). My son plays with it every day still. I am writing this in May. We did assemble the parts for him (seeing as how he is two) like they do in the store. We used finishing nails to secure the track to the platform.
My son plays with all his toys on top of this table, plus it looks nice and does not wabble. There are even baskets underneath to store other toys. Very nice toy. I love it (but not as much as him)
This train table exceeded my expectations in so many way. I was very happy with the quality and it is standing up to my children's abuse. I also wanted to note that this seller is incredible and worked with me when we had problems. Outstanding product and service.

My kids recieved this as a gift from their grandparents. It is fantastic! Very sturdy, looks great, everything you need for a train table! This company shipped it very fast and packaged it well. Assembly was time consuming, but kinda fun to set everything up! The best part is that it goes with Thomas the Train and Brio stuff, so you can mix it up. 5 stars all the way around!

Kind of a funny toy; very low tech, like toys we used to play with years ago. But the kids around here love these. We got it for a 12 y/o girl's birthday. She actually requested these little boards. It is a popular toy at their middle school. For the price, lots of neat stuff to go with.
I had purchased these tech deck toys 2 weeks ago,
they were actually very fun. But i'm quite disgusted with them as well let me explain:
1. after about 20 min use the trucks (metal part on bottom axle is connected to) loosen and then the kingbolt that held the truck together became loose and everything falls apart, then you have to look all over the place to find the skate tool which is conveniently small and very easy too swallow and very sharp. After that you can't really use the tech deck untill you can ollie (jump) which took 45 minutes. then about 1 hour 15 minutes the wheels fall off. YIPPE another search for the tool. after that when you begin too have fun you notice the wheels are very badly made. after the griptape starts peeling so now you have this plastic board and which is ridiculously pathetic 1 hour of fun for 11 dollars? Buy a educational board game and don't waste your time. also you could just go to a website where finger boarding is a hobby and get a decent one for about 14 dollars trust i have compared the one i got online was much better than this. ALL IN ALL DON'T BUY THIS
My kid loves these things. The little tool to change the wheels is pretty flimsy. I broke one and had to buy another set to get another. Otherwise, it's kind of fun and keeps the 7 year old busy for a while.
If you look at the package really good, on the very 1st one top right.It's a rare element board.Spin Master don't make does anymore.That's why they wrote styles may vary.Once you receive the package it's not the same one you saw,they send you a different one,and they will tell you that they have written down that styles may vary and send you anyone they want.you will loose the argument.RIPOFF!!
i bought this for my son its been more than a month and he's still playing with it and doesn't seem to have broken any so they're pretty durable

Purchase these at the same time as the helicopters because eventually you'll need them. Our copters were purchased for 2 adults and we don't give them a lot of hard use so we haven't had to replace the rotors...yet. Put these in a safe place (they are very fragile on-and-off the planes) and it's on to the copter battles. Just a little insurance to keep you flying.
Recieved product with no problems. Props work well although they are not as rigid as the original and will bend instead of break which is good but control over aircraft is not quite as steady but not at all a problem. I bought 12 of them because the original 3 that were included with the Air Hog broke in the first week. Happy to say after a month with these replacement props I have yet to break even one.
These things tend to break at the same spot repeatedly, so I put a dab of clear epoxy (the kind that comes in the double syringe thing) right where they break. They seem to be pretty much indestructible now and it doesn't affect the flight at all!
I bought these rotors / blades as extra parts (just in case). The helicopter is a great little toy. Highly recommend.

This is a set of 4 replacement tail propellers (tail rotors) for the Mini Heli Infrared Indoor Helicopter, Bell Heli IR Indoor RC Helicopter, Picco Z, Havoc Heli and clones. It is a good idea to keep a few spare tail props on hand to let you keep flying in case yours is damaged in a crash or by trying to bend it back into shape. It is fairly easy to damage the tail propeller if you keep the power while skimming off the floor after crashing, getting stuck in furniture or smashing against a ceiling fan. These replacement tail rotors are a little more forgiving to bending back in shape than the originals. Tail Propeller Specifications: Diameter: 1.2" (3.0cm). Material: Black plastic. I have a 2yr old and he loves this toy! He won't let me play with him when he plays with this. He is a rough little guy and I honestly think that there isn't any way he could break this toy. It is make of thick plastic. I does work with some matchbox and hot wheels cars also. Some work better than others just try them out. Overall this is the perfect toy for a 2yr old that loves cars!
We just got this and my 18 mo old loves it. The noises were annoying at first but we got used to them. I followed another reviewers advice and bought the mini adventure cars as back up cars for the ramp.

My son is 2 1/2 and he loved this toy. I chose this toy because it looked like something he could not take apart and it was all one piece. there was nothing to put together. I have found that most hot wheels can be used on here as well. he has since lost his first initial attraction to the toy but he still plays with it on a daily basis.
My two year old has not stopped playing with this! Definitely worth the money! The sound doesn't have a switch button, but after a while, you really don't even notice it.
Hot Wheel cars (most of them) fit on here too.

I agree with the other reviewer about the color of this toy. Mine is a pea green color even though the picture shows yellow. He even comes with a card that states his color is "Mustard yellow with cream stripes." Definitely not the color we got.

My son loves him anyway and was excited to get him. He seems well made like the rest of our Take Along Thomas toys.
This was the only thing my three year old son asked for for Christmas. He even sat on Santa's lap to request one. I am sad to say however that the picture is misleading. It shows Diesel 10 being a gold/tan color but the item that arrived was green. I believe I read somewhere that Diesel 10 under went a makeover and perhaps green is his new color. My son, though he loves the toy, still thinks that there is another one however. I searched several stores and only found the green ones. He was expecting the gold/tan one and I think was a bit disappointed that it was not the right color. He still insists there is another one. I would purchase it if I could find it. The picture of the one I ordered was gold/tan. Perhaps Amazon should replace the picture with the actual green Diesel 10 that you recieve.

My 4 year old has enjoyed his train set for years, and loves having a train that he can make stop and go on its own. For what it is, its a good toy for a good price.
Having 2 young boys we have been into Thomas for quite some time over a 4 year span. This was about the 4th battery powered engine I have bought for them. The other ones have been durable and fun to play with and the batteries last for quite sometime.

This one has a very sticky on button which is so tight my 4 year old can not even turn it on. Not much fun for him.
I got this toy for my 2 year old son. He loved it for about 2 weeks. Many complain about the noise it makes, but I felt it was a train and should make some noise, that's what trains do. Others complain that it sucks up batteries. My response was to get rechargeable ones so that I wouldn't go through them every day. I saw complaints about the inability to use the push option on the train. If you turn the power button off, it rolls fine. Some people even complain that it detracts from the child's imagination. We had 2 Thomas trains and when we felt he needed to push the trains instead of watching it, we just took out the battery or gave him the other one to play with. However, if you have a child that does not know how to take care of his toys and it gets a little beat up, it won't last. Physically it's fine (the body is made out of metal and is very durable), however, it stopped working after 2 weeks of getting thrown about a bit. Now it is just a $20 push train. Too bad, he really liked it for a while. Maybe when he is older.
As others eluded to, it states that you can switch into a freewheeling mode, but even following the directions on the Learning Curve website's FAQ page, 2 of these did not work. I returned the first one after speaking with Learning Curve. They told me that if it won't freewheel, then it is defective and to return it. Replacement unit did the same thing, click every time I push it.

Some off-brand wooden track also is not very compatible with this train. I had some Imaginarium track, and the grooves in the track are about a millimeter narrower than the Thomas and Brio track. Battery-Powered Thomas doesn't quite fit with all wheels in the grooves, so it derails on this track constantly.

I have had pretty good luck eliminating other derailments of this train (with Brio and Thomas track) by using SureTrack clips on areas of my layouts that tend to not stay very straight. These clips are pricey, but they help avoid a lot of frustration when a toddler is destroying the track layouts with every other push of a train. I bought 1 box, which is enough to keep key pieces aligned on most layouts.

Overall, it has been fun for the few days we have had it, but I am very disappointed that it won't enter free-wheeling mode. I guess I will have to buy the wooden Thomas now as well.
I've gone through two of them, neither lasted more than a few hours. Extremely frustrating. Advertised as being able to 'roll' when not turned on (so kids can't play with it manually) but I fear that might be causing the breakdowns. Internal engine is not very durable, despite external die cast metal being pretty solid. Not sure if I will return or tear it apart to try and find out why they keep breaking.
This Thomas engine features with a special magnet helps keep rolling stock on the track. Thomas Wooden Railway vehicles, track and destinations are not compatible with Take Along Thomas items.

This toy is fun at first, but then it gets kind of boring. Really, the airplane just goes around and around. However, we also have the bridge extension, which connects to the geotrax railway, and we really like building the geotrax with the airport set attached to the bridge, so we are really glad that we got this set. The kids always want the airport set attached, so I can't totally discount its value. That's why it only gets a 3 for fun, but overall gets a 4. It's not tons of fun, but we still really like it. How weird is that?
My son received this toy for his third birthday. There was a piece missing from the track and we couldn't put it together right away. We called Fisher Price and they sent out a whole new piece. He loves it.
I bought this for my 2 yr old grandson for Christmas. He loves it and still plays with it. It is nice because it attaches to other Geo systems. I recommend it if you have a playroom to set it up as it takes up quite a bit of space. You can put it away but it takes time. It was definitely a good buy.
We got this toy as a gift and when I saw it I didn't think it would be the kind of toy my 2 year old and 3 1/2 year old would play with a lot. But they BOTH love it and play with it quite a bit. They LOVE the airplane sounds, being in control of moving the airplane, the control tower and the moving platform. They take a bunch of their little cars and have them sit in the tower and go up and down on the platform and move in and out of the area on the bottom. They just love it and are always thinking of new ways to play with it! It's also very durable and has withstood being pushed off the table many times, pulled and drug around the house. It is not terribly small, so definitely keep that in mind before purchasing, but I think that's another reason why they continue to play with it.
We are Geotrax fanatics here. I buy mostly used off an auction site, but Santa sprung for this new because he thought it looked so great. It is great, but my 4yr old&3yr old find it dull. You press a green button&the plane zooms in one direction. Red button it stops. Ok...now what? Hmm...press the green button again? How about just walk away from it&leave a 3 foot tall structure completely abandoned in the family room for weeks until mom puts it up on the auction site to get something more fun.

Cons- if your kids have lots of tracks, trains&other destinations this will get dull fast&you can't store it anywhere. It's just huge.

High-Flying Fun
Getting ready for your child's first flight couldn't be easier. With slide-lock air track pieces that are simple to put together, assembly only takes a few minutes. Kids are sure to be impressed by the bright colors and the twisting track right away.

Before take-off you'll need to use a Philips head screwdriver to install six AAA batteries (not included) -- three in Jumbo the jet and three in the remote control. Then snap Jumbo onto the track and set him in motion. The remote control has two buttons, so kids can set Jumbo spinning forward or backward on the air track loop. Designed to be easy for kids to grasp with two hands, the controller is shaped like a real plane's controller for increased fun.

Nice, authentic looking replica from Batman. Did not open box, so I did not test durabiity, but it's a diecast not a Tonka.

Hot Wheels' 2007 1/18 scale replica of George Barris' Batmobile, featured in the classic 60's television version of Batman, is solidly constructed, and well-detailed throughout. Measuring a little over 11 inches in length, it has an attractive painted finish. Mostly based on Barris' iconic creation, the replica reflects much of the same sharpness and cool of the original.

The interior is nicely detailed and painted, but be advised there are some tiny rubber parts that could be easily broken off. The doors swing open, and the front wheels are linked to the steering wheel, so that they turn when the steering wheel is turned (an interesting, though perhaps not particularly useful feature). The rims and exhaust pipes have a simulated chrome finish. Unfortunately, the replica is not designed to accommodate actual figurines of the caped crusaders. Secured to the box for display, there are plastic bumpers at the front and back ends of the vehicle for additional protection.

For whatever reasons, there was drama concerning this product when it was initially released. It was listed as available at Amazon for around $30, and then unavailable, and then available at a cost of over $100. At the time, the cost was almost as high on eBay. Unfortunately, sometimes the hype gets ridiculous, and dedicated fans get burned.

Catering to the collector market, Mattel produced several other more expensive `elite' 1/18 scale replicas, as well as several other versions of the Batmobile at smaller scales. Those interested in Barris' Batmobile might want to check out what's available, and find the one that suits you best. At the current price, the entry level 1/18 scale version is a nice memento for fans of Bill Dozier's classic TV series. Hopefully Batman will be released on DVD soon. It is a shame it hasn't happened yet, as almost every other major series from the 60's seems to have already been released in some form.

Anyone old enough to remember the classic TV show can not forget this classic version of the Batmobile! The Corgi version of the car we grew up with was a cool toy, but it's a pricey collectable if you want it in great condition with the pulsating flame and other features still working! This car is much bigger and I must say they did the car justice, although I would have loved a pulsating flame feature!

The car comes in 4 class models that range from $25 to $500! The more expensive the more detail to the car. I have this one and may add a more detailed one to my collection in the future. Each and they are all beautifully done and will make any Batman fan jump for joy! Holy die cast Batman! One version is Flocked!.....very strange!??
