We got this RC car for our 19 month-old granddaughter, and she absolutely loved it. She picked up the control and the car was non-stop all afternoon!! Didn't even have to explain to her how to work it. What a great little set! The car and the control are the perfect size for little hands. Go ahead buy one for your favorite toddler--they'll love it.
Runs well, easy for young toddlers and older kids alike, cons are that it needs fresh strong batteries to get the most power to run on carpeting, has a longer range than expected
My 2 1/2 year old loves this remote car. She puts her little dolls in the seats and drives them around the house. The remote has nice big buttons so she doesn't get frustrated trying to change directions. Cute idea since there aren't many remote controlled toys for girls.
When I was babysitting one Friday night, and my granddaughter remarked to me that when her brother played with his cars he never let her touch them and he told her they were for boys&she was too little to play and she was a girl. Well this upset her and she asked me for her own car. We went online to Amazon and typed in pink car (that's what she wanted). We ordered the item and she was soon happy when it came. Now both play with cars together, her little doll fits inside the car perfectly. Thanks for making me a hero with her!

Henry is a classic engine and part of the 8 core characters in Thomas and Friends. He is in almost every video and essential, unfortunately he is not combined with any video (that i know of) so you just have to look at the bargain bin like i do. At first I was not sure to get Henry because he originally had a very inaccurate looking tender in his old model. Now he is sleeker and much better looking. While pricey, it is a great train to get, as the last review says if you get Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, and Toby, (numbers 1-7) they are great for learning numbers. Also Henry's tender, combined with others, can be great freight cars for those who don't want to pay even more. Henry in general is a very quality train with more wood than plastic and he is a great asset to any fan.
I noticed the numbers on all the engines so I bought this one so I could make it so my son could count the engines from 1-10. This is number 3. Only the coal cars are marked. This is a large engine. It's size makes it difficult to push around and it derails easily. My son is 16 moths old and has trouble with this engine I recommend it if for the 2+ crowd.

My son loves this tunnel, he's had it for more than a year and still includes it in every track layout!
Having read reviews where people had trouble with this tunnel, I thought I'd leave a comment.

We are new to Thomas. My 2.5 year old son has suddenly gone train crazy. This is his first bridge/tunnel and I only bought it because I had a 50% off coupon to Michael's, where they have a pretty good selection. Otherwise, I think these are outrageously priced. But that's my only complaint (and why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars).

Our tunnel door works both ways, which is good, since my son's favorite thing is to go backwards thru the tunnel.

The track that comes with it technically does not fit the non-Thomas wooden track we already had. The female end was too tight and the male end too loose. For the female end, I just took a little sandpaper to it and now our track fits just fine. Not much we can do about the male end, but as long as the track isn't moved around much, it's not an issue.

Given how much time my otherwise short-attention-spanned son has spent playing with this, it was a good purchase - especially at half price.
My three-year-old has thoroughly enjoyed this piece. He makes Thomas and Percy climb the hill, shoot through the tunnel, and escape to the other side. The train's "disappearance" is a big draw for my son and he really seems fascinated by its simple premise. It has been a big hit at our house!
I just bought this tunnel for my 3 year old son, and he just loves it (I knew he would)! I thought I would write a review, since some other people have been having trouble with the trains fitting. He has had absolutely no problem! He has also been pushing his trains up throught the tunnel, as well, without any difficulty (so the trains do fit in both directions). He pushes them up through, and then says "it's dark in here", as the trains go in and then up the hill. My 5 year old daughter has also been having fun with this tunnel! It was a GREAT addition to our Thomas train table!!!
It wasn't really clear to me from the pictures beforehand but this is an elevated arch which swoops down through a trap door. It is lots of fun and I've had no trouble with trains going through it even four trains linked together at the end of a roller-coaster hill. My kids can play with this as soon as I'm done!

This is perfect as a first truck. Everything physically about this truck is great, the only problem I had was that the amazon description listed it as including WAY more blocks than I received with it. I then called to order a replacement and they sent me the same amount of blocks again! Luckily I hadn't sent the other box back yet, so I called to let customer service know that I was removing the appropriate amount of blocks from the first truck to add to the second truck. It seems as though they dont have an accurate description and it only made it more frustrating when the person on the phone barely spoke english. I was tempted to hold all of the blocks hostage to make up for the trouble, but decided to call it a wash and let it go. I wish customer service was staffed by more english speaking and articulate people.

My baby hated this toy he became very frustrated with it because when he would try and push it it would fall over can anyone recommend a better toy truck?

Was a great purchase, has good sound, cannot hurt the child or your furniture, could be a little easier for the child to make to sound, but overall I was very satified with how much my grandson had fun with it.
My one year old son likes this toy a lot. It makes car sounds that he now imitates. The car body is soft so if he falls on it or throws it across the room it doesn't cause any damage. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you push on the rear of it, the car flips. He seemed to be annoyed at that at first, but now he's getting the hang of it. This is a good, sturdy toy for kids interested in cars.
My husband saw this in a toybox at a friend's house during a party. They said their son loved it so we decided to buy one for our 2 year old who is obsessed with cars. He loves it. He even insists on taking it in the car instead of a regular "stuffed" toy. The best part is that it doesn't make any annoying sounds and it doesn't "do" anything. It only makes a soft "engine running" sound when you push the bumper. Just a nice, slightly squishy truck with big nubby tires. He loves to push this around and I don't have to worry that it will do serious damage to the furniture or to my son. It's not soft, it just has a little give and there aren't any hard corners. It's pretty big so it's easy for a 2 year old to bend over and push it without too much effort. In a house full of toys that beep, screech, and flash; I love this battery-free, fun and friendly little truck.
We got this for our daughter when she was 9 months old and she loved it, after she figured out it rolled better on hardwood floors instead of carpets she would constantly take it into the kitchen and roll it across the floor. Shes had it a couple months now and still loves it. Its light weight, easy to grip and is soft. Also the wheels are far enough apart that her tiny fingers cant get caught between the wheels and the car.

Lots of fun for my truck obsessed 2 year (almost) grandson. He loved the 'wrecking' sound.
My 6 year old really loves this. He plays with it often and spends a lot of time putting it together in different ways. If you like toys that spark creativity without lots of annoying lights and sounds, this is great. The construction rig only makes noise when you play with the wrecking ball.

The Mega Rig toys are nice because they can all be used together if you want. My son also likes the fire truck and shark ship.
My 7 year old got this toy with his Christmas money. He already has the Squid sub and the Shark Adventure ship. He really likes those and so far has enjoyed the construction one as well. He complains that when the crane is made into a tower it isn't stable, top heavy. Having the other toys makes this one even more fun because the ship set came with claw that he adds to the crane instead of the wrecking ball and likes to build and move things with that. He has enjoyed it as much or more than lots of other toys he has had.
I purchased this for my 5 year old three months ago after the Shark Attack megarig was such a hit. Overall the megarig line of toys are entertaining and creative. My son loves his legos so this toy, which he pretty much puts together like so, has become one of his favorite quiet time activities. The fun of it is that there are so many creative ways of putting the toy together that everyday he can make a different looking one. Just last week we got him the firetruck megarig for valentine's and he loves that one too. All the megarigs are interchangeable, so all the pieces fit onto each other. The pieces are sturdy and take a beating, this construction megarig has a wrecking ball with sound effects. My older nephews seem to enjoy the line of toys as well, so it'll grow with your child.
My nephew got this for Christmas and when he unwrapped the
box his face lit up. Apparantly he knew that he could combine
the parts that form to creat this truck with another MEGA Rig
he has. He was so excited to create the biggest ever.. Of course
the whole family had fun making different machines and listening
to him tell us how they'd work.

I bought this train set for my 4 year old son after researching train sets for HOURS online. I concluded that it is not worth the price to pay for Thomas or Brio-they are outrageously overpriced. This KidKraft set is compatible with both of the abovementioned sets, should you decide to add to them later on. Both my 4 year old son and 5 year old daughter LOVE this set and keep playing with it. The best pieces are the mountain, the bridge, the crane and the changable intersection. There is some minor assembly required for the bridge and roundhouse. Took 5 min with a phillips. Overall the quality seems good, although one of our trees has already cracked (the wood is thinner there). All in all, I am one happy customer!
This product is an exceptional value when you consider what a branded version would cost. It did take a little assembly, and a couple of the drill holes were non-existent (so plan ahead some time for assembly prior to giving it to your child). The bridge train tracks do not stay together during my 2 year old's rather enthusiastic play, but I used some 3M hook adhesive to keep the sections together and that seemed to do the trick. Older children should have not problem with this. There are quite a few trains, which is a lot of fun. We did buy the Thomas the Train Motorized version, which does not work on this track because the bends are too tight, but I think the normal wooden Thomas trains would work just fine (although I haven't tried them yet). Also - the Thomas Die-Cast trains also don't fit (the wheels are too close together).
We bought this set 2 years ago for my boy who is now 3. He plays with it everyday. We hid most of the smaller pieces and eventually added some Thomas sets but it was a great starter set.The mountain really makes it!We also bought the matching table. We love that too!!
