That said, the locking mechanism is very nice. It turns smoothly, numbers click in place, and it locks and unlocks with no problem (I still oiled it regardless).
Another annoyance with it is that the coils are really damn tight. Maybe that means the steel is harder...that could be a good thing, but I'm not sure.
Regardless, it'll do. I only use it at home where I can't easily use the (total overkill, 5 pound monster) u-lock I bought at the same time as this』

We also put a baseball cap on him underneath the helmet to prevent it from flopping down over his eyes. That seemed to do the trick! It is now about 5 months later and we are still very pleased with our purchase. The adjustment dial in the back is key because you don't have a whole lot of time to fuss with it before he wants you to stop. The back is relatively flat (not sure how it compares to other helmets), and we have a Topeak baby seat for the bike which is slightly reclined so there is definitely no issue about the helmet being too bulky in the back. Our son falls asleep in the bike seat quite easily. It's a really cute helmet and we got the best price through Amazon as compared to the same helmet at other stores. And he wears it, which of course is the most important thing of all!』

Hazard: The base of the rocker can become unstable and allow the rocker to tip forward or backward, posing a fall hazard to children.
Incidents/Injuries: Tek Nek Toys has received 35 reports of the rockers tipping over, including ten reports of injuries such as bumps, bruises and lacerations.
Description: This recall involves Rock `N Ride plush rocker toys sold in eight models: brown pony, pink pony, pink unicorn, deluxe pony, deluxe bull, lil' penguin, lil' propeller plane and Clifford big red rocker. The toys have molded plastic rocker bases and were sold for children at least 18 months old and up to 65 lbs. A button on the toy's ear, hat or dash activates songs and phrases when pressed. Rockers included in this recall have a date code from July 26, 2007 through December 29, 2007. The date codes are printed on a sticker inside the battery compartment.

Assembly was a simple 4 bolt (medium phillips head)installation. Took 3 minutes. Product appears made with durable material. The rockers (bottom) are plastic and will not scratch hardwood floor. However, just be sure to assemble the bolts properly (the plastic heads are angled to fit the angle of the rocker bottom).
Some people have complained of the volume (each ear of the Pony has an activator for sound). I have found no such problem. However, it does get annoying over time.

My wife says it works and you don't have to spray a dog but once and he generally learns the lesson. She would also use it on a human attacker if needed.
