In other reviews, I kept reading that the t-bar that does the pumping was hard to push. I sprayed the chain with cycle chain lube. No problems. While going up hills is not particularly easy, I can get going pretty fast on level asphalt. The scooter turns on a dime. And it's fun for this "kid-with-experience."』
(Defective but fixable) 『I orderd this scooter for my 10 year old daughter as a Christmas gift from my parents. It arrived at their house and they could not assemble it because the front fork was bent so much the tire could not be attached. My husband had to make a special trip to their house (an hour away) to repair the scooter and finish assembling it. My daughter was happy with it for a week or two after Christmas, but now has gone back to riding her old scooter. She says it is too hard to kick the pump and that it doesn't go fast enough. The kick pump gets in the way when she tries to ride it like a regular scooter. It's a lot of work to ride and you need to keep switching legs often.』

They are #3&4 and we have had the bells and whistles type and just wanted something sturdy that they could both use that could take a beating (as our 4&2 year old would no doubt sneak a few rides). This absolutely fit the bill. One can ride while the other pushes. One of my twins started walking a little more than a week after getting this toy and I believe it helped a great deal. We have had ride ons with lights, bubbles, and sound in the past but those things just break and cause frustration. Sometimes simple is better. The only thing that I think may improve the fun factor a bit is a seat that lifts with storage underneath. That is one feature that my older kids loved in other things but, if it woud affect the sturdiness then it's not worth it. Simple, sturdy, and a good value!』

I know, they look a little goofy on a $700 adult-owned bicycle BUT they make no noise at speed. At 3mph and slower they slide around on the spokes and make a very strange clanking noise, and it makes people turn around to see what it is! Then they clue in and move out of your way. PRICELESS. I only wish they were reflective, or glowed in the dark, or did anything else for conspicuity.』

(Great rescue pump if you are adverse to CO2) 『This is a perfect rescue pump. It will allow you to put approx 60-80 psi in a standard road tube. I have not been able to get more than that. It attaches to your frame and does not really get in your way, although I do feel it brush against my calf from time to time - especially when grinding up a hill.
The pump has a very short stroke, but pumps on both the "in" and the "out" strokes. This is certainly not something I would choose to use on a regular basis. For rescue purposes, it works fine.
Nevertheless, I have found that CO2 is simply easier to carry in my saddle bag to do the same thing. I found a CO2 head that actually has a very small hand pump as well that fits in my saddle bag. This allows you to put a few pounds of pressure in the tube when changing a flat.
In any event, if you need a rescue pump - and don't want to use CO2 - this is the best one I have run across.
Also important - the frame bracket covers the head so no dirt gets in the nozzle.』

(Good stuff) 『Haven't had it for too long, but have used it for topping off, and for complete air-ups when changing tires. Works great, especially for its size. It gets pretty warm and I think it loses some of its effectiveness if you really go at it from empty to flat, and your arm will be feeling it by then too.
Know what you are getting: it is a good quality small air pump (throw it in your bag and you wont even notice it. If you do a lot of tooling around, you will probably want a stand-up one.

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Finally, a great rear view mirror) 『As a bicycle commuter it's very important that I have an idea of what sort of traffic is behind me out on the streets. I've tried several different brands of mirror and this is, by far, the best I've tried yet.
The other mirrors I've used have attached to my helmet and are generally okay for getting a glimpse of approaching traffic unless your helmet moves; then they can be useless. In addition the models I've tried have had varying degrees of accuracy. Some had so much distortion that it was only possible to tell something was behind me.
The "Take a Look" mirror corrects most of the these problems. By mounting on my eyeglasses I find they are less likely to move around as did the helmet mounted models. And, unlike other brands, the mirror itself is wonderful, giving me a very clear and accurate view of what is behind me.
I'll probably be ordering a spare as my only real concern is losing it.

I do not have a bill on my helmet so I do not know about that config, but clamping to my eyewear does not work. (Great for Rowing!!!) 『I have used the "take a look" mirror extensively while rowing. It provides the most secure fit and widest field of view among the mirrors I've tried. It is rugged and will last a long time. The plastic attachments of some other brands are far inferior to the padded metal of the Take a Look. The plastic ones break, the Take a Look won't!』
