This book had me hooked I couldn't put it down. I was wanting to know what happened next to Anne and her family issues.
I have been reading the Blaze romance series frequently for the last year, I think I ended up in a whole new league. I bought this book when it was on sale because the cover interested me, two guesses why! Does the book have sex? Yes! But it is not just about sex through the whole book, but relationships. It deals with the consequences of bringing in a third person into the bed. I could not put this book down and it created a sleepless night for me. I read the whole thing last night. Now, I am ready for another!
It is a tale about Anne and James Kinney. They are happily married. Anne and James have a great sex life that many would envy but it seems that there might be something missing. Alex Kenndy is James's best friend. He has been living in Singapore and is now coming back to the States for a visit. Alex will be staying with James and Anne. Anne has never really gotten to know Alex and is not sure what she thinks about him watching her with a look of lust. Besides what would James think if he knew his best friend was eyeing his wife. As it seems James doesn't mind. When Anne is given the chance to spice things up with two men will she give into temptation or pass it up?

Let me first off start by saying that Tempted is a very tasteful erotic novel by Megan Hart. Tempted shows that even the most perfect couples can fall victim to desires. I thought Anne was a great character as she showed emotions, conflict, and love. Also for me Anne seemed to be the strongest one in the book but at the same time James and Alex were able to compliment her, so that the story line was believable. Tempted was my first novel by Megan Hart. It was a good, quick read. I would check out other books by Megan Hart. So with this being said if you enjoy erotic novels or are willing to give them a try than check out Tempted.
Its about the main character, Anna, in her point of view. She is the luckiest woman in the world. She has a loving husband, James, and wonderful home, and a life to live for. Suddenly James gets a phone call from an old pal named, Alex, from Singapore. His company was bought out and now he needs a place to crash so he can get his own company up and running. So James and Anna agreed. At first Anna doesn't really approve of the extra company. For one when James and Alex get together James starts acting unlike himself. But worst of all Alex becomes extremely attractive to Anna until they both hatch a plan to share her. But Anna starts wondering if there is something more to the both of them than just having alittle fun with her?
I think this book was a cross between a threesome porn and a made up movie on Lifetime. An odd mixture of a woman dealing with her husband's weird antics, her families mishaps, and of course her own personal demons. I think this is a very good book to read and should be given a shot.

I've read two of Megan Hart's other books (Broken and Dirty) and really enjoyed them. I was excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. I was so disappointed. I'm taking my copy to the used bookstore for credit.

This book deals with a very detailed and in depth description of pranayama practice. It is an invaluable document for those who are interested in learning more about yogic breathing practice. In this edition the type is really small (7pts) which is tiring to read.
I teach meditation and I am educated in biology, biochemistry and psychology. I am also a student of world religions and a yoga practioner. During my graduate school years, I was also a Teaching Fellow in Physiology and I teach workshops on pranayama and biofeedback. Therefore, I think my opinion has some weight in this arena although I realize there are more serious yoga practioners who have more in-depth knowledge than me. My purpose in sharing this information is to provide context from my review. I hope this is useful.

This book is incredibly detailed and goes deeply into respiratory physiology, muscles, practices and the details of pranayama practice. There are clear explanations, however, many people may find them to technical without a biology background or the desire to take this information in slowly.

There are many good diagrams and photos in the book that any practitioner will find helpful. In some cases, they are unique in the yoga literature in some way and I can't imagine not having this book on your shelf if you are serious about the practice of pranayama.

While this is not the most colorful or modern looking text, it certainly packs a lot of information into a small space. It is also written by someone who has travelled this road and understands it both technically and from the inside. In short, it is an authoratative text on this subject.

A lighter book along the same lines which I have also read is the Science of Breath. For beginners, this title might be more appropriate. However, any practioner at any level will eventually want to own this book.

This book is a treasure to me. It teaches a safe means of progressing through all of the variations of pranayamas. If all of the advice is taken, there will be no problems in this area of your personal practice.

This is only one part of the yogic path, though. The rest needs to be in place for this to be effective. For that I rely on Yogani's Advanced Yoga Practices book. It gives step by step, safe instructions utilizing the techniques of the Gheranda Samhita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, as well as other great works. I highly recommend it to any serious yoga student.

I am so glad to have found "Light on Pranayama". I am somewhat of a beginner to the serious practice I've undertaken, but with this book I feel confident that I will succeed. Thank you BKS Iyengar.
As far as I know, it is the only work that gives such complete instructions for this very important aspect of yoga. It deserves more attention.
Mr Iyengar says you need teacher to practice Pranayama, on the other side he makes thick book which he himself thinks can not be used without a teacher. After reading many books, I have concluded following:

Try The Little Book of Yoga Breathing: Pranayama Made Easy instead of B.K.S. Iyengar's book and see for yourself.

Scott Shaw's book is an answer to any introductory pranayama and worths it's weight in gold.

Following are two techniques:
Alternate Nostril Breathing
(Anulom Vilom Pranayama with no breath retention) This pranayama (control breathing) is done with alternate breathing from the left and right nostrils for cleansing of Nadis. (energy meridians). Seated in a convenient posture, start off with slow inhalation from the left nostril first by closing the right nostril with the middle of right hand thumb ,and after fully filling the lungs, (not the belly breathing) breathe out slowly from the right nostril by closing the left nostril with the two ( left hand middle and ring) fingers. Now breathe in from the right nostril by closing the left nostril in the above manner and exhale from the left nostril by closing the right nostril with the right thumb. It completes one cycle. Do this for three minutes for two months then gradually increase to 5 minutes.

Do it two hour after eating or drinking. (Do it on empty-stomach) Do not eat for 15 minute after you are done. Better to lie down for five minutes after you are done. If you limit practice to maximum of five minutes, it will be the best.

The very first sign you will experience is lightness in the body and clearer thinking.

The practice of this breathing for a period of three to four months can open up thirty to forty percent of the heart arteries' blockages. This pranayama alleviates all the diseases of the body, leads to the state of joy, enthusiasm for living , fearlessness, peace of mind and deep meditation.

Benefits:
-Hair will regrow within two months of practice.
-Body will go to it's ideal weight by itself.
-Face becomes bright and luminous.
-Lost vision will return.
-Removes fear/anxiety of any kind.
- Aligns both hemisphere of the brain for full brain functionality
- Creates a deeper sense of well-being and harmony
- Helps alleviate migraines and headaches and frazzled states of being
- Works great in situations where you find yourself anxious, board and need grounding
-Blockages in the arteries of the heart are removed and the arteries become clean, making circulation unimpeded.

Ujjayi Pranayama

1. You can do this sitting, standing or walking anywhere anytime.

2. Inhale slowly through both nostrils, keeping the throat slightly constricted so as to make a gentle sound that will help you to feel the breath in the throat. The sound will remind you of ocean waves washing up the beach. Concentrate on the feeling of the breath moving in and out through the throat.

3. During inhalation do not allow abdomen to bulge out, let the chest expand.

4. After completing inhalation slowly exhale. (Either by both nostrils or by left nostril) During exhalation chest should go inside and abdomen should remain steady.

Remember :-

1. While doing Ujjiayi air should touch the throat.

2. Breath must be mentally locked in chest area. (Do not do belly breathing)

3. After practicing it for few days, knowing your limitations, keep the ratio between inhalation and exhalation 1 : 2.

4. In easy Ujjiayi Pranayama, inhalation and exhalation can be practiced by both the nostrils.

Benefits:
This simple practice has a subtle influence on the whole body. It calms the mind and has a soothing effect on the nervous system. Ujjayi is very useful for people with high blood pressure as it slows down the heartbeat. It has subtle effects on the flow of life force in the astral (energy) body and helps you to be aware of its movement within the sushumna (astral spine).
A yoga master decribes the techniques of breathing together with a comprehensive background of yoga philosophy in this authoritative, practical and indispensable guide.

I won't bother with recaping the story, since it has already been done BUT I will give my 2 cents.
As far as romantic intrigue books go, this is the one to read. I couldn't put it down. It has great, one-of-a-kind characters, is well written and fast-paced, describes settings so vividly it feels like you are there, and contains a very satisfying romance. What occured to me while I was reading is that the story was so believable it made me wonder whether this could really happen, and whether people like this really exist. Lethal Affairs is a book I will keep and re-read.

Lethal Affairs introduces a new adventure series featuring the Elite Operatives Organization. This is a top secret group based in Colorado that recruits children with special talents from all over the world and then raises them to be super agents with espionage and combat skills. The EOO is contracted by governments and other organizations to deal with situations that they legally can't solve. When they aren't on an assignment, the agents assume regular identities and mix in with the rest of the world.

Luka Madison has a reputation as a very skilled art restorer who travels the world working in exotic settings. That she is also the highly effective agent Domino is a secret kept by the EOO. It seems like a routine assignment when she is called in to lead a team in eliminating a drug lord, but mistakes are made and the situation isn't concluded with Domino's usual efficiency. Hayley Ward is an upcoming newspaper reporter who is looking for that one big story that will make her career. When she receives a videotape of the assassination and a note about the EOO, she knows she's found it, but now she has two mysteries to solve. What is the EOO and who is feeding her the information to uncover its operations? Kim Baldwin has long been known by her fans for her adventure books. This series written with Xenia Alexiou introduces an edge and sense of intrigue that are new. Lethal Affairs fulfills its function of setting up the series very well. It gives enough details about the operation of EOO so that readers will understand what it is about, but there aren't enough details to cause this particular book to bog down. Set in sophisticated and exotic locales, the book shows the depth of research done by the writing team and their ability to portray scenes vividly. The action is fast paced, the bad guys are really bad and the reader can be swept up in the ability of the agents to handle any situation. If all of the books follow this pattern, this series will probably become a reader favorite.

I totally enjoyed this book, it was one I did not want to put down...the fact that love saved her and that the love was offered unconditionally was a big plus...when you find someone that loves you for all that you are you are truly blessed...I hope these two continue to write about this woman and the woman that saved her soul.
I've read all of Kim Baldwin's books and enjoyed each fast paced plot. I was concerned that a collaboration between the two authors would weaken the flow. What a nice surprise. The plot had all the energy of Kim's previous books and both Domino and Haley are strong characters. I vacillated between wanting to be them and wanting to be with them.
Kim Baldwin and Xenia Alexiou are a great writing team. This book is first-rate quality. All I have to say is, where's the sequel?!
Elite operative Domino is no stranger to peril and impossible situations. Trained all her life to be just as comfortable fighting terrorists as mixing with the gala crowd, she is proficient at playing any role necessary to accomplish her objective and believes the cause sanctifies the means. But her latest assignment to investigate journalist Hayley Ward will test more than her skills, ingenuity and courage, because this time she faces the ultimate dilemma: a choice between loyalty and love.

First in the romantic suspense series: Elite Operatives.

The book was very insightful. Matter of fact I reread it again because I enjoyed it so much.

I was delighted by this book, the second I've read from this author, and would possibly give it 4-1/2 stars. She has a definite talent at creating vivid, three-dimensional characters with clear motivations, then sticking to the rules of their psychologies as she explores the depths of their emotions. In this book she deftly wove stresses and challenges of being a college student with that of managing the drama of friends, roommates and family. The book operates on many emotional levels, from the very personal, internal journey that Sarah is on to overcome the natural fear and hesitancies that being thrown out by her family and dumped by her girlfriend cause, to the slightly larger world of the Rhode Island college campus and the student organizations Sarah joins, to the national political scale, as Sarah works with the Free Rhode Island group to prevent a proposition to define marriage as between one man and one woman, as well as prevent any civil unions, from passing.

Sarah is the emotional center of the book, with everything revolving around her and her earnest attempts to make the world a good place for herself and her friends, including a documentary Rory is making for a film class, but Rory provides an able foil, both contrasting with Sarah and complementing her as they form a bond that transcends either friendship or lust. And there are many other supporting characters as well, all well-drawn, who impact the story in meaningful ways.

This author creates compelling characters with a story to tell, who stand out as individuals, and ultimately triumph by leaning on one another. She captures both the uncomfortable and often thrilling sides of discovery one lives through in college. I would definitely recommend this book, well-paced, well-plotted, taking on some timely political issues in a personal way, but ultimately being a touching romance, and look forward to more from this author in the future.

If that bothers you than steer clear of buying it.

I loved it! It was great to read a 'no holds barred'..raunchy and very sexy honest book.
I thought the author created 2 real characters with great dialogue and storyline.
There is no excuse or reason given here for the amazing sex these two women delve into - there shouldn't be.
I'm so glad Bold stroke published this one and didn't hide her in one of their collection books.
Way to go Meghan! Can't wait for your next one.

This book is great if you don't mind books without character development or plots. I was very disappointed.
I read this book in one morning. It is very well written and very steamy. You will not want to put this book down. I have recomended this book to all my friends. I will not let anyone borrow it or sell it because it is definately a book I plan on reading over and over.
There are already many reviews which list the virtues of the book in terms of hot, hotter, and hottest. And they are all true! Hot it is!

I'd just like to add that it's a dynamic, entertaining read, and the one reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is because it's a bit two-dimensional for my tastes. Personally, I don't think the characters are so very well developed per se, what's fantastically well developed is their sexual persona, which happens practically within a bubble (and I'm not talking about the elevator!), there are no friends to contextualize the relationship, their "work" world is referred to but never brought to the forefront, the family angle is barely touched upon but not really explored...

I did have a LOT of fun with it, and I really do recommend this book for hot, fast-paced enjoyment, but in my humble opinion 5 starring a book requires a bit of extra work in terms of "rounding up" the story.
Since there is a description of the book and others have written about it also, I'll skip that and just say: This book is so hot it will scorch the eyes right out of your skull! What a pleasant surprise. I have never read anything by this author and ordered it on a whim (desperate for something good to read). The description intrigued me enough and am I ever glad I took a chance. I've since ordered Infinite Loop by the same author, but haven't started it yet.

I loved the characters and was sucked into the story from the opening line (and if you've read it already, you know what I mean *wink wink*). Considering almost the first half of the book takes place in an elevator, with only the two main characters present, I was very impressed by the author's ability to keep my interest. I am one of those readers who tend to skip over things that don't look important, but I read every single word in this one (some parts I read more than once).

This is erotica with a bit of kink thrown in for good measure. Excellent read and I can't wait to read more by Meghan O'Brien! Highly recommended!

YeeHa! This is a lively tale about cowboys coming out in a small Texas town. Aren't gays hung in Texas? The main characters work on a ranch. There are a lot of steamy sex scenes in this book, so many in fact it left me wondering when do the cows get milked. No one moans and groans like they do, for example: he moaned as he walked in the front door; he groaned as the sweet potato pie slid across his lips). Egad, I groan, look in a Thesaurus, will ya.
When I recently was searching at Amazon.com for a new batch of gay fiction books, "The Tin Star" kept popping up in Amazon's recommendations sections. When it comes to films, I just can't stand Westerns. So I deemed this book, set in the contemporary West on a ranch, of no interest and kept searching and adding other books to my cart. However, during this long search, Amazon was very insistent--"The Tin Star" popped up so many times that I finally decided to give it a look. One click later I saw a book rated very highly by fellow shoppers. I skimmed the very brief description and thought, what the hell, it's a contemporary book not a film set in the Old West, and it sounds interesting. There was a warning about homoerotic gay sex in the description, but that didn't faze me in the slightest. So I bought it. After a very few chapters, I suddenly realized what I was reading: a Romance Novel! I stopped dead in my tracks. How did this happen? What did I miss? I'm actually reading the homosexual version of what you find in grocery store checkout lines?! However, the characters had already grown on me, and there was an excellent and dangerous coming out storyline. And the book was not entirely what I thought a Romance Novel (as opposed to a love story, which I consider VERY different) would be. There's plenty of sex, and it's great sex (and explicit, I must add). But it has a story, and a good one at that. And it features very realistic characters--as opposed to the swashbuckling pirates with long, flowing hair, and chests bigger than garage doors that you see on supermarket Romance Novel covers. "The Tin Star" was a very enjoyable read. It's not a deep, literary work of gay fiction, but it knows what it is and does it very well. This book made me feel unashamed of having read a Romance Novel. And that was quite a task! (I just purchased "The Broken H," another Romance Novel by prolific author J.L. Langley. It's a follow-up to "The Tin Star." What can I say: J.L. hooked me in.)
The plot was actually quite promising. But I quickly got disappointed. The two kind of very "masculine" characters end up being two big queens almost humping each other constantly and in front of everyone. The sex scenes were also too graphical I thought. Overall ok-ish but certainly not great litterature. What I really liked though was the fight for acceptance cause this was quite realistic, especially if put back in the context of rural towns. This is what I would define a good "beach book".
This story about two gorgeous, adorable cowboys in Texas in so engaging and the characters so well-developed you can almost forget it's basically a book of porn and convince yourself you're reading popular fiction - and I mean that in the best way! Jamie grew up as the little brother of Ethan's best friend, John, who is straight. Neither Jamie or Ethan knew the other was gay and when they discover it, and Ethan kindly offers Jamie a place to stay, the sparks fly. They have wonderful chemistry and lots of steamy sex- then their relationship blooms into a sweet, but not too mushy love story. Throw in some crime, drama, and major homophobia (it takes place in small-town Texas after all) and you have the making of an actual interesting plot. It's definitely a guilty pleasure that you will want to read over and over - in between cold showers - yeah!

I thought this was a really good book. Yes, there are tons of detailed sex scenes, but if you can look passed thoughs if that bothers you, the plot is really good. Very good book =)

Damn I thought I had read the best there was to read in lesbian erotica.
I also thought that only a few very special authors could sustain the erotica 'high' for an entire book; and maybe there are only a few that can do this, but Larkin Rose is definately one of them.
This novel is a beautiful romance with the intensity of short story erotica. It is a 10/10 on the hot meter and yet will not leave you feeling as if you are being 'naughty' by reading it.
Sheri Livingston and Larkin Rose has always been one of my favourite authors and this novel did not disappoint, in fact it now sits firmly as one of my favourites.
For anyone who has dared to love, dared to challenge, dared to live this book is for you.
