(My daughter really likes it) 『My 6 year old daughter enjoys playing with this quite a bit. She has only had it since Christmas so I don't know if she will continue to use it longterm at this point. From my standpoint there are several things I'm not impressed with. She has a braid across her head and it has already pulled loose. She came with a fish that you can attach to her tail while she swims but it falls off all the time. The one that most concerns me is that water gets into the mermaid part and into her upper body. I empty it out as best I can and we hang her upside down to dry but I'm concerned that mildew will grow inside her and we won't be able to see it. We had some 'squirt' toys when she was little and you could never get them to dry completely so they alway ended up with mildew. I would fill them with bleach periodically but eventually I just threw them out. I will try that with her at some point and hope that it doesn't ruin anything.』 『This graceful and glittery underwater Barbie doll's mermaid tail really moves just like she's swimming! I am returning a similar EDUCA 5000 piece puzzle because its as poor a quality jigsaw puzzle I have seen. The price however, at $55.00 is one of the highest.
The quality of the printing is fair. The quality of the piece fit is poor, the pieces dogear very easily...some were dogeared right out of the box. The pieces are not particularly unique, so when doing, say a uniform blue sky, the fit is poor enough that you often can't be sure if you have the right one.
I would not purchase anothe EDUCA puzzle...I wouldn't mess with one someone gave me, unless maybe I was in prison or on a deserted island.
