Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The classic Thing from the comics, and a worthy addition to your superhero collection) 『This Thing action figure is part of the new Marvel Universe action figure line by Hasbro. The figures are 3-3/4" scale, making them smaller than previous Marvel Comics action figures.
Thing, member of the Fantastic Four, comes with no accessories or weapons. Just the figure, in all its rocky muscularness. The figure features articulation in its ankles, knees, hips, torso, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and neck. It's pretty posable and (because of the nature of the character) is bigger and less delicate than some other figures in the line. Thing seems to be made of a harder plastic than some other figures, but he should still withstand normal use and abuse.
Thing's design is based on his classic look from the comics, although they've chosen to give him blue pants and boots instead of his earlier blue shorts. Thing is a nice addition to any superhero collection.
Hasbro's new Marvel Universe action figure line and Mattel's new DC Universe: Infinite Heroes action figure line are both pretty cool. Both include your favorite superhero characters, the way they looked in the comics, with no gimmicky added features, at a standard 3-3/4" scale. Just the basics.
It's cool to have all the Marvel characters under one roof. Same size, same quality. (Ditto for DC characters.) You don't need to worry about Iron Man being twice as big as Spider-Man, etc. The new figures are all the same scale.
And it's cool that the figures base the designs off the comic books, rather than recent movie or stylized cartoon appearances. It gives the characters a timeless, definitive quality. And there's no weird "laser strike armor" or anything. Just the classic superheroes, plain and simple. I like that.
Also, the 3-3/4" scale is the scale of the popular Star Wars figures. So you could mix Marvel, DC, and Star Wars characters together into an awesome playtime adventure. 3-3/4" seems to be a popular standard for action figures. (Figures were bigger when I was younger.) But I'm fine with that.
These new action figures (both Marvel Universe and DC Universe: Infinite Heroes) seem to be made for kids. Some action figures (particularly previous Marvel Legends figures) are aimed more toward collectors, with intricate detail and a multitude of joints and moving parts. But these new figures are more kid-friendly. Ready to be played with, not just looked at. (The Marvel figures have an online promotion to enter codes and "become a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent".)
Collect your favorites and build your own superhero team!』 『Highly detailed and fully articulated. A great figure for collectors of Marvel Universe 3-3/4" scale action figures or Marvel Comic fans in general.』
『The power of the Hulk is legendary, as is the brilliance of the man trapped inside. For years, Bruce Banner fought against his other self, hoping to repress or destroy the Hulk. Now, each is reconciled to the presence of the other, and they work in concert Banner using his brilliance and the Hulk applying his raging strength when intelligence fails.Be prepared to avenge immorality with the mean, green fighting machine. Posed with bulging muscles, this articulated Hulk figure is ready to take a stand in your collection.
Figure comes with a S.H.I.E.L.D. File with secret code.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Good Stuff) 『With all of the packaging and figure versions of Star Wars figures that have come out I'd have to say that this version and style is the best. The packaging is unconventional and eye catching and just looks good as do the figures. Their faces look like the character and the detail has been upped over previous versions. The coin is kind of gymmicky but to each their own. I prefer this series over most of the previous with the exception of the classic card series.』 『A scoundrel through and through, Han Solo nonetheless adheres to a deep sense of right and wrong. He couldn't leave his new friends behind to what he felt was certain death. Though some might call his arrival at the Battle of Yavin late, he prefers to say that he was "just in time." Pledge your allegiance to the Rebel Alliance with this articulated action figure based on the character from the film Episode IV: A New Hope. Detailed figure comes with weapon and an exclusive collector coin!』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Do not recommend) 『I ordered this for my 10 year old son...when he took the toy out of the package, the supposedly interchangeable hands broke. I sent the toy back well over a month ago and have not received the requested refund yet. I dont recommend!』
(cool, but fragile) 『first off let me say I'm a BIG fan of KH2, and organization 13. When I got the action figure i was realy exited. My sister and I opened the package, and I was very pleased. The clothing matches the outfit form the videogame, the hair looks awsome, and there are many posses you can do with it. Although when I opened it I wanted to change the hands, and a few miutes later they broke. It's not that I wasn't being delgate with it,( I practically treated it like glass)but to me it seems like a design flaw. usually you twist things off, but when I did that to the right hand broke. then I tryed pulling the left hand, and it broke too. The directions didn't help ether, it was pretty confusing and sort of impractical. I had to super glue it back on, and it looked a little weird. sadly the next day when i put Axel on my book shelf he fell off and the front part of his hair(the two spikes at the top) broke. i super glued it back on and it looked okay, although he sort of looked like a unicorn -_-'. though this was my fault, just make sure to be careful when you prop him up on your manga shelf. besides the hands, and hair I realy like the action figure. it's an over all good product and i was very happy with it. I recommend that you shouln't try and take it off the hands, chances are it will brake. I think i'll get the Roxas one too>w<』
(Great Figure) 『I bought one for my niece and loved it, so I just had to get one for myself. LOL! This figure is great... however... as another review said, my Axel figures hands did break. It wasn't just yours! LOL. It's okay, though. He's a display item only, so it's not too bad. He's still a great figure. I love him.』
(Awesome!!!!!!) 『I was very happy with this product! he is well made and a good representation of him in the game! one thing though. just be careful when you take off the hands. it might have just been mine, but when i took them off they broke. so I had to hot glue them onto his wrists. oh well.. it doesnt cripple him too much lol.』
(I WANT HIS COAT!) 『The Axel Action Figure rules. I just unwrapped it the other day and It pretty much has not left my side. literally I tied a ribbon around him and tied it to my belt (Not that that's weird *Shifty eyes*) And anyway, the coat is correct to the game and the Chakrams are to the exact. He is really well made and is very durable.
The only problem I have found is that at first he's a bit stiff and the hands are hard to change around. I'm very afriad that I'm going to break his arms off and I got stabbed in the eye by his hair (serves me right for being too close to his head checking out his tattoos under his eyes) But that was my fault.
Over all he rules and I'm going to get the Roxas action figure. :3』 『Disney paired up with Squaresoft (creators of Final Fantasy) to produce Kingdom Hearts, the interactive RPG for PlayStation 2, featuring classic Disney characters and worlds, as well as new ones developed by Tetsuya Nomura, known for his work on Final Fantasy. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The tail falls off!) 『The boy loves all his Ben-10 figures- the mom hates looking for the tail that keeps coming off. Same problem with Humungousaur. The others have no tail. I tried rubber gluing- didn't work- gets banged up too much.』
(Jetray!! WOOOHHOOOO!) 『Jetray is so cool! He is my favorite Ben 10 Alien Force alien. For the figure, his tail falls off sometimes, but it doesn't matter because you can just reattach it. You should get Jetray! I love Jetray and I am 16!』 『Ben 10 Alien Force 4" Action Figure Jetray newly designed figure comes with its own unique display stand - designed to look like they are standing on the surface of their home planet.
