Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Looks cool, but is not very durable and has small pieces) 『This Green Goblin figure is part of Hasbro's recent Marvel Universe line of 3-3/4" scale action figures based on the classic characters from Marvel's rich comics history. I am a fan of the line, as it offers classic character designs and the smaller-scale figures fit in nicely with figures from other lines (Star Wars, DC Universe: Infinite Heroes, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.).
The Green Goblin is one of Spider-Man's earliest nemeses, and this figure provides a major villain to go with the other action figures of Marvel heroes. The figure looks pretty cool, with Green Goblin's traditional green and purple costume, pointy ears, scaly texture, and long pointed cap. I was excited about adding this figure to my collection.
But when I was taking the toy out of the package, its leg broke off at the hip. I could re-attach it fairly easily, but with all the joints the figure could come apart. The figure comes with articulation in its ankles, knees (2 joints per), hips, torso, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and neck. This makes the figure posable, but less sturdy.
The toy comes with a goblin glider for the figure to stand on. Its feet go into the stirrups, but it's a bit of a trick to get both feet to fit at the same time.
The goblin also comes with a tiny pumpkin bomb accessory that fits (very delicately) into the figure's left hand. This tiny piece might be too small for younger children and could easily get lost. (It seems to be a prime candidate to be accidentally swallowed or vacuumed up.) The figure also has a plastic satchel loosely flung over its body. I don't know if it comes off, but it rattles around pretty easily.
Overall, the Green Goblin is a good action figure for collectors, but may not be great for younger children or children who play rough with their toys. It's a nice addition to a 3-3/4" scale collection, and should be fun for kids who can handle the small pieces and the delicate moving parts.』 『There was a time when Norman Osborn was just a man, though he has always had a surplus of ambition. (2-year old loves these!) 『I bought these for my 2-year old for his birthday. The box says that they are for older kids, but he loves superheroes and does well with toys from that age group. The only problem is that he is in a chewing-on-everything phase, and has nibbled off most of batman's ears. Otherwise, these are fantastic action figures!』
(Good action figures for small hands) 『I purchased these action figures for my 4 1/2 year old daughter. I picked this set because she wanted Batman and Superman (already having her most favorite Spiderman). That it came with Wonder Woman was a plus because he sister would play with that one. The quality seems pretty good and I like the flexible material for the capes. (good detail, but inferior poseablility and pictures are misleading) 『This model is inferior to the other Alien toy from 'Requium'. That toy has great pose-ability, whereas this Hybrid Alien is locked into a position where it is turning to its right, which looks kind of silly to me, and is annoying considering that all of my other Alien toys allow for a great variety of poses. You CAN move its arms at the shoulder, its tail, and the head a little bit.
Second, in the promotional pictures the toy, even the ones on the toy's packaging, it is shown with its mandible teeth open in a menacing position, but in the actual toy they are closed, and makes the creature look much more tame. I call this false advertising.

These figures are a great representation of what might have been. The differences between the concepts and the finals are mind-blowing. Leia was more like Han Solo with a smuggler's outfit and blaster. The stormtroopers had lightsabers! As figures, they're also fun. They all have incredible detail. I particularly like the snowtrooper's dirty look. The only drawback is that the stormtrooper figure does not come with the shield pictured on the box.
