The set is composed of the figures, as well as the Gate Card and Special Ability Card. My daughter has numerous Battle Packs, traps, Bakugan Deka, the arena, the launcher and Bakugan Gauntlet (in addition to the Bakugan DS game).
The toy comes in the box as separate figures and step by step instructions are necessary to aassemble the Maximus Dragonoid. Assembly took about 20 minutes, the first time. Instructions are only graphical drawings and not too easy to follow. Once assembled the figure is not as big as I had anticipated on the packaging. Personally, i was not impressed but my 9 year loves it. She likes the ability to use the traps when playing the Bakugan with her other Bakugan Figures.
As for an action set, I question the durability with non-game play (ie as standalone action figures) - given the spring loaded mechanisms and delicate small parts. I do not recommend this for households with children under 5 given the high choking potential. This set is more ideal for kids aged 7 and above - depending upon how gingerly or harsh your child plays with his or her toys.
For the price, this toy is a touch overpriced and I recommend waiting for a price drop by at least $5 to $10. However, the the unique nature of a modular toy, this set is amazing. I recommend this for the Ultimate Bakugan Fan and not for the casual gamer.
Despite its limitations, it is still a very good toy.』
(Junk) 『You can play w/ the individual characters but the main 'Maxus Dragonoid' cannot be played with since doesn't go together worth a hoot which is the reason my son wanted the toy. Pieces don't fit quite right. So not worth the money. He is 8. We had fun trying to but it together but wish it was worth the effort.』
(Difficult) 『The separate Bakugans are cool, but it is very difficult to put them all together. A grown-up can barely get them together let alone my 8 year old.』
(Maxus Dragonoid) 『My 7 year old is crazy for Bakugan and begged for this. He takes it everywhere.』
(problem) 『hi my son recieved this on his birthday. On his way to the party one of the springs came out of one of the traps. This was an important part on the whole Maxus Draganoid. Since he threw away the inside packaging I can't return it. We payed $50 for about 10 minutes of gentle play and you can't buy the one we need at the store. So I don't know if you have any solutions for me or If I can even buy the one that broke to once again complete the set. Linda Flores』 『Here is the MAXUS DRAGONOID. 7 in 1 to combine into MAXUS DRAGONOID. All are Pryus red figures.
This is a MUST HAVE for any Bakugan collector or gamer.』 『One of the biggest and most powerful Bakugan yet, the Maxus Dragonoid will have your Bakugan opponents quaking in fear. It includes one Bakugan warrior and six traps that, when transformed, can be assembled into a giant dragon robot. These seven pieces are unique and can't be found anywhere else, making this set essential for any Bakugan player/collector.

Get In On the Bakugan Craze For those who are unfamiliar, Bakugan is an inventive strategy game based on the popular anime TV series, "Bakugan: Battle Brawlers." It pits a variety of "Bakugan warriors" against each other for points. The Bakugan themselves are magnetic, spring-loaded marbles that -- when exposed to a metal "gate card" -- burst open to reveal a fearsome warrior.
The mission of the Bakugan strategy game is to capture the opponent's metal gate cards. This is achieved by rolling your Bakugan warriors onto these cards and doing battle with defending enemy Bakugan. The game involves a surprising amount of strategy, and features various tactical cards and trap pieces that help protect your Bakugan warriors.
Room for the Imagination This game combines skill (aiming your Bakugan) with strategy (placement of the cards). Players also enjoy the way the warriors pop open on the magnetic cards -- although sometimes they do it even when they don't land on the cards. Players unfamiliar with the TV show, may feel a little lost at first in the world of Bakugan. But with the help of the colorful, animated Bakugan Web site, they will get what the game is about and how to play.
Even without the official strategy game, Bakugan toys are enjoyable and can be played with like regular action figures. Fans of the show will like role-playing as one of the various characters, such as the fiery 12-year-old leader "Dan" or the wise "Marucho."
Maxus Dragonoid Expands Your Bakugan Collection This particular set contains one Bakugan warrior (named Neo Dragonoid) and six Bakugan traps (Grakas Hound, Dark Hound, Grafias, Brachium, Spitarm and SpyderFencer.) These pieces can be combined together to form the massive Maxus Dragonoid monster. The transformation process is a bit complicated, but the set includes clear instructions that make assembly easy. The assembled Dragonoid is a unique toy, although a bit unwieldy -- if not positioned correctly, he will easily fall down.
Each of the seven Bakugan that compose Dragonoid can be used individually in the strategy game. Avid players will be happy to know that this set also includes a special ability card, which will come in handy when you're devising a strategy to topple your enemy. Just keep in mind that, in order to play Bakugan properly, you'll need several other Bakugan marbles/cards that are not included in this package. Kids who are new to Bakugan might be better off with one of the various starter packs.
What's in the Box One Bakugan warrior, 6 Bakugan traps, ability card and metal gate card.
Maxus Dragonoid disassembles into smaller Bakugan that can be used in the official strategy game.

Extremely durable and still looks brand new! It also has sparked an interest in native american life. I highly recommend it if your child likes imaginative playtime or collecting figurines.』
(Canoe) 『My five year old grandson loves this toy, and he is learning a lot about Native Americans. We have great discussions while we make believe.』 『This handpainted Schleich Canoe with Sioux Indian is a great addition to the Schleich American Frontier Collection. This bold warrior was considerably detailed from his feathered headband to the realistic-looking canoe.-』
『Star Wars: Episode 1>C-3PO Action Figure』 『The overly chatty protocol droid of the originalStar Warstrilogy wasn't always such a "Golden Boy." InEpisode Iwe learn that none other than young Anakin Skywalker, an inveterate tinkerer, had given the rambling robot life--or at least transformed him from bundles of wire and spare parts into some semblance of droid-dom. The action figure rendition of this work-in-progress is authentically colorful and suitably spare. Includes a CommTech voice chip that says "I am C-3PO, human-cyborg relations," "What do you mean, naked?" and two other phrases; also interacts with Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, and Padme Naberrie action figures. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Best combiner I've come across!) 『This Superion is teh best combiner I have come across - much better than the original G1 version. There are no extra parts needed for the conversion. Instead, everything is right there as part of the individuals. The few accessories (the feet and hands) are usable in individual robot and jet modes as well.
There is also an appendage set you can get for this one (with more realistic looking arms, armor, and a rifle - all of which go with Superion and the individual jets). It is a bit pricey, but I found it well worth the money as it makes a great Transformer even better.』
(Inferior Superion) 『This toy is a far cry from the original Superion from my childhood. As great as the recent Transformers have been, this toy is sadly inferior in every aspect. Entirely plastic and the parts constantly fall off when Superion is assembled. The Aerialbots aren't even reasonably cool before the combining of them. He can't even stand up without his legs split apart. Very disappointed, I did something I have never done before with a Transformer in 30 years of collecting: threw it into the trash. At worst I've given Transformers away if I didn't like them, but there's no way I'd give this piece of junk to an unsuspecting kid or friend.』
(Fun for Kids (and Us!!!)) 『As you're casually passing by the toy aisle of the discount chain/toy store that you happen to frequent (in this case, Target), this humble looking figure happens to catch your eye on numerous occasions. You think, as you decide to pass it off as one of the clumsier molds in the TF ROTF line, what good would this figure be in little johnny's toybox (or rather, YOUR collection). Here's where the presumption ends. After picking this sucker up, I found myself to be truly surprised by what Superion had to offer. He's now working his way into being what I regard as one of the neater entries into my cadre of TFs. Parents should note that this toy is among the best buys you could make, and hopefully an item that he'll (OR she'll) enjoy for a good amount of time. You get a bunch of scout figures and one deluxe that all form into one of the better-conceived combiner figures (this mold dates originally from the TRANSFORMERS: ENERGON line--- note the "crystals" that attach to each figures' torso) out there. Each part of Superion transforms into its own little robot. Each figure (and the sum thereof) amounts to a transformers smorgasborg of fun that goes on down the road. For the collectors, a fan-project modification for the hands has been made (check ebay for that little item) to further enhance the appearance of the aforementioned hands. Recommended.)
All in all, Superion may not be the hottest, coolest, or most intricate of the TF:ROTF line, but he sure delivers in the fun department.』
(A simply must-have!) 『When I saw the release of the Aerielbots, I couldn't believe my eyes! I knew I had to have them!!! I cut-off all unnecessary expenses and finally pounced on it! :-)
Basically, you get 4 scout class jets (which form the limbs of Superion) and 1 deluxe class (Silverbolt, who is the torso). Not a bad deal!!
The transformations are pretty easy, except for Silverbolt, which takes a bit of getting used to and requires lots of time poring over the instructions! :-s But it's still worth it! And all of them look really cool in robot modes as well.
And the best part... they all combine to form Superion. But there ends the good stuff!
I kinda thought that Superion would be taller in height. At the moment, he stands just an inch or two above an Ultra class toy (I have a WingSaber&JetStorm) or Voyager Classic Megatron. So the whole 'towering above the Decepticons' factor is lost! :-s
Besides that, it's very difficult to pose Superion!! He doesn't have knees, and the connectors that hold the robots together as limbs don't lock very tight, so its possible in mid-stride, one of his legs might come off!
Overall... i think the concept is great, and I really love this set and I don't regret buying it. It's just that you wonder if the Hasbro guys thought something along the lines of, "Sure, it's got a lot of flaws. But you're getting Superion, so put up with the flaws!".
I'm putting up with it... and I love this guy! :-)』 『The mighty union of the five Aerialbots, Superion thinks of little else besides destroying any Decepticons he encounters, and protecting any innocent bystanders nearby. The robots that combine to form this powerful warrior are experienced teammates, working in tandem to see that the Autobots emerge victorious from the fire of the ancient war.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A) 『I had recently received this roaring kong action figure as a gift, from my mother. oh, and my is it wondertful! the face is terryifing! it has these crooked yellow teeth and these beedy little eyes that as your playing with it, he seems to stare back at you..lol. and if you press his chest he makes a terryifing roar and more as you hear someones voice yell, OH GOD! (if you have one already, try listen for it) Anyway, i reccrecommend that if you are an extreme kong fan, that you purchase one today!』
(A Christmas Hit) 『I gave King Kong and Bull V-Rex to two five year old boys this Christmas and they were a big hit. They played with them for hours. If you buy King Kong, you HAVE to get Bull V-Rex too. It's fun to feed him little people.』
(King Kong Rules!) 『I got this toy for Christmas and I am amazed at how much it can do! The noise it makes is superb, and it is nice and loud. It has great detail. I like how its mouth opens and closes when you push its chest... very realistic. I also really like how it can bang on its own chest, and it can hold onto Ann (the girl that comes with it). If you get this toy, you probably want to get the deluxe V-Rex to go with it... they are fun to play with together. I recommend this to any King Kong fan.』
(The ultra KONG!) 『This is the ultra kong toy when you push its belly he roars and you hear people screaming.』
(The Deluxe figures are winners) 『Get the Deluxe V- Rex too. These do not disapoint』 『Now you can relive all of Kong's amazing adventures or create brand-new ones with this fully poseable Roaring Kong that you control. Flip the switch back and forth to activate chest-pounding action. Press his chest to watch his mouth open wide as he lets out a mighty roar. Requires 2 "AA" batteries (included). Measures 11" tall.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Think on what I say) 『Now this figure I have is not your average figure to get for your child to play because he likes playing Devil May Cry, but since the game is rated M for Mature I doubt that's the case. You either play with them or are a collector. So let's get to the points. The articulation is somewhat full, hip and thigs have no real joints but they are made to do various poses, but good luck getting them there. They are stiff as wood. The detail is very good until you get tot he face. That is probably the major drawback, the face. If you pose it right it looks somewhat like Dante, but other than that it might as well be Raiden from MGS2 with white hair or the brother of Olga Gerlukavich from the same game. The bonus weapons of the shotgun, Ebony and Ivory, the guitar, all look like the weapons for ht egame, except the shotgun might be the design from DMC 2. The reason Isay this is because the hilt of Rebellion seems to look more like DMC 2, even though it does have the face awakened,it has the bulky hilt or hand guard as the Rebellion from Devil May Cry 2. In DMC 3, the game the real model for the sword should be based off of, Rebellion has those thin hilts that stick out instead of hte blockier build. Just look at the two swords and You'll see what I mean. Also, Dante is shorter than a can of soda. Still, if you're a hardcore DMC fan and own all the games, all the books, all the shirts (yes I do own them all) and a replica of one of the one of swords (I got Rebellion), then you should buy this one.』
(Good stuff, little but looks great on a desk.) 『As I said, i wasn't expecting a huge toy but almost all the weapons are actually larger than it. It's cool, though, and the price is fair.』
(must have) 『If your a devil may cry fan this is the action figure for you. It comes with all dante's wepons twin pistols Ebony and Ivoy, sword Rebellion, guitar Nevan and cut off double-barrel shot gun. It also has a second head. You can put him in about any pose know to man and some only know to rats. All in all its a great figure.』 『Talk trash with Dante! From Capcom'sDevil May Cry 3,Dante comes equipped with a new joint system that allows for a ton of dynamic action poses using only 14 joints! Ready to be posed on his action base, this 6-inch action figure comes equipped with one interchangeable head, two hand guns, a sword, a double-barreled sawed-off shot gun, and an electric guitar.』
