Mainly because each generation becomes more desensitized to violence, and more used to horror conventions. As such, they come to expect the gore and monster jumping out of nowhere tactics. This is why Phantasm's ability to achieve classic status, especially given its modest budget and production value is such a feat. Unlike most, I did not see this movie until very recently, meaning I've seen a very large amount of horror flicks prior to this so did not expect to find anything new in an old low budget horror flick. How wrong I was.
Phantasm is a creepy, scary, psychological movie. The movie is more interested in playing with your mind than with a body count, which is the way I prefer it. There's an air of mystery throughout the movie, some of which is not resolved. I liked that a horror movie, especially one from a few decades ago, found ways to surprise me and keep me on the edge of my seat. Sure the effects and makeup is a bit dated, but that doesn't stop this from being a classic movie. If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend giving it a chance.』
(The Anchor Bay Edition) 『PHANTASM has fared pretty well on home video over the years with 3 VHS editions that I am aware of, 3 laserdisc issues and so far two (region 1) DVD releases (where's the bluray?). This latest version from Anchor Bay is the first time we have gotten an anamorphic release and it sure is nice to have it. Anchor Bay generally does an amazing job at putting together all sorts of cool extras and animated menus for their releases and they do a fairly good job here. The anamorphic transfer on this DVD does not seem to me to be the same print used for the MGM and laserdisc releases. I think this transfer looks a little more grainy and the color a little more off than the previous DVD. It looks okay but it isn't remarkable in any way. I suppose this could be because I'm now watching on a large HD screen and flaws are more apparent than before. It is difficult to compare this print accurately with the previous non-anamorphic ones. The Dolby 5.1 soundtrack sounds the same as the previous releases and it is quite good however this new DVD DOES NOT include the original mono soundtrack that was provided on the MGM release. There are a couple of new extras exclusive to this Anchor Bay edition. There is a short version of the PHANTASMAGORIA documentary and some interview segments called ACTORS HAVING A BALL. Those are the only features that are exclusive to this release. The commentary track is the same one I have been listening too since the collectors edition LaserDisc. Strangely, there are things MISSING from this Anchor Bay DVD that were on the LaserDisc and MGM DVD. There are ten minutes of deleted scenes on the MGM and only 8 minutes here (2 deleted scenes are missing). Angus Scrimm in australia doing his tall man schtick is not included on this release. The Coscarelli/Scrimm TV interview is here though, as are cleaned up versions fo the trailers and TV ads. There are NO radio spots included on this one, also gone is the Angus Scrimm introduction to the film (an especially sad ommission by Anchor Bay). The stills gallery is not included and neither is the complete version of "Sittin Here At Midnight" by Bill Thornbury, or the "Disco Phantasm" music tracks. We do get the Fangoria convention footage. One big improvment is the restoration of the original poster art for the front cover. This is also a two sided DVD cover in a transparent keepcase that has cool inside cover photography and a disc that looks like a silver sphere. This is a far from a definitive video release of PHANTASM but the anamorphic transfer makes this the best edition we have gotten so far. And by the way, I think PHANTASM is the greatest horror film ever made.』
(Scary in 1979, hilarious now, but still a treasure) 『This movie is a classic. I am sure it scared the heck out of the viewers the first time it was released. It is funny for us now in 2009, but it is still a treasure for collectors of movie memorabilia. I collect horror movies from the original "Nosferatu" until the stuff like "Drag me to hell". It is not that I like to be frightened, but it is exciting to scream and laugh afterwards because of how silly was what got us scared. Excellent movie to see the traditional middle 70s to middle 80s horror movies.』
(Great movie, I met Angus once...) 『One tall man, three heroes, several small jawas, one black Plymouth Cuda, a flying ball that'll drill ya, and a partridge in a pear tree!
Great movie. Weird as heck, but fun! I met Angus Scrimm at a Fangoria horror movie convention as a teen back in 1987. Wow. What fun. He was really adept at being able to laugh about the Tall Man character and enjoying the role for what it was. He talked about how little dialogue he actually had in Phantasm I and II. He actually had it all memorized and said it to us...something like, "Boy! Boy! Boy! You play a good game boy but the game is finished, now you die! Boy!" and a few other lines. It took him like fifteen seconds lol. We all cracked up. I got his autograph. It was my first convention for sci fi/horror.
Reggie Bannister is the greatest. "We're hot as love!" oh man, classic
And for corn's sake, the CUDA! Plymouth Cuda! Oh baby! That and the Dodge Challenger, the two greatest cars ever made!
This is a fun frightfest. My wife is just terrified of this flick so it's fun to watch at Halloween.
I think it's an UTTER TRAVESTY that Phantasm II is STILL not available on Region I! Total blasphemy folks!』
(It was little and brown and low to the ground!) 『Right from the first scene in the movie you know this isn't going to be your average horror movie. There really isn't much of a plot, but what little there is isn't revealed until about halfway through the movie. The acting is sub-par, but it's not to the point of turning the whole movie into a joke. The cinematography is interesting to say the least. It isn't bad or anything, just really weird. The special effects are pretty corny and laughable, but they have their uses. The soundtrack is one of the better ones I've heard in a horror movie. The movie has it's moments, but they are few and far between and very short. Horror fanatics will want to watch this once through just for the heck of it, everyone else probably shouldn't bother.』 『The Original Classic From The Director Of THE BEASTMASTER and BUBBA HO-TEP Michael Baldwin and Bill Thornbury star in the shocker that started it all, in which two brothers discover that their local mortuary hides a legion of hooded killer dwarf creatures, a flying drill-ball, and the demonic mortician known as The Tall Man (an iconic performance by Angus Scrimm) who enslaves the souls of the damned. More than 25 years later, it remains unlike any fright film you’ve ever seen. He's in his early 20s, has a cool car, splendid '70s hair, leather jacket, plays guitar and (naturally) snags all the girls. His little brother, Mike, in particular, admires him and emulates him at every turn. Things start to go astray, however, when the two brothers and their friend Reggie attend a funeral for a friend. Mike notices a tall man working at the funeral home; in the course of his snooping, he sees the tall man put a loaded coffin into the back of a hearse as easily as if it was a shoebox. Jody doesn't believe his little brother's stories, though, until he brings home the tall man's severed finger, still wriggling in what appears to be French's mustard. From there, the film picks up a terrific momentum that doesn't let up until the sequel-ripe twist ending. Phantasm was one of the first horror movies to break the unspoken rule that victims were supposed to scream, fall down, and cower until they were killed. Instead, Mike and Jody are resourceful and smart, aggressively pursuing the evil inside the funeral home with a shotgun and Colt pistol. Furthermore, the script has a great deal of character development, especially in the relationship between the two brothers. The film even has a surprisingly glossy look, despite its low-budget origins, and little outright gore (except for the infamous steel spheres that drill into victims' heads). This drive-in favorite was a big success at the time of its release, and spawned three sequels. Little wonder; it includes an inventive story, likable characters, a runaway pace, and, of course, evil dwarves cloaked in Army blankets. The end result is one of the better horror films of the late 1970s. Hot-rod fans take note: Jody drives a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda, the pinnacle of 1960s muscle cars, rounding out his status as a Cool Guy. --Jerry Renshaw

Jack Clayton's direction was perfection, bringing James's delectible nightmare to tantalizing fruition on the big screen ( aided by the superb screenplay of William Archibald, and Truman Capote ). Truly the stuff of dreams ( very dark dreams... ).

(One of the best horror movies ever made.) 『"The Innocents" is one of the most atmospheric and creepy psychological horror movies ever made. The plot of the movie leads the viewer to believe that either the spinster nanny heroine of the movie, Miss Geddens, is having a nervous breakdown or the behavior of the two children she cares for is being psychically influenced by the murdered, low life, sadistic servant Quint and the masochistic, pathetically suicidal former nanny Miss Jessel. Apparently the deceased servant and the former nanny had a sado-masochistic relationship that was whispered about among the staff of the mansion. Quint and Miss Jessel "kindly" took the two children of the house, Miles and Flora, under their wings and acted as surrogate parents to the orphans, but it is rumored that Quint and Miss Jessel also had sex in the mansion with the doors wide open and possibly exposed the children to their kinky sexual encounters. The movie also implies that the one or both of the children may have been sexually molested by one or both of the deceased. Miss Geddens sees menacing apparitions of Quint and Miss Jessel in the presence of the children, but the children say that they don't see anything....or do they?? Were they so traumatized by the memory that can't see the apparitions, or, are the ghosts manipulating the children's behavior, or, is the Miss Geddens losing her mind?? This film doesn't reveal the answer, it's up to the viewer to figure it all out. Which is one of the reasons why the movie is so great. My personal opinion (SPOILER): the house is haunted by Quint and Miss Jessel, Miles is being controlled like a sock puppet by Quint, Miles and/or Miss Jessel killed Quint, and Miss Gedden is a freaking kook! And the kid that plays Miles deserves an Academy Award.』
(Haunting 1961 haunted house classic!) 『This black and white 1961 haunted house classic is a winner all around. Set in 19th century England, The Innocents has a haunted atmosphere throughout the movie. This movie is based on the novel "The Turn Of The Screw" by Henry James.
This is a ghost story that stars Deborah Kerr, who plays a governess who is caring for two orphaned children in a huge Victorian mansion. Throughout the movie there are ghosts that appear once in a while, such as a ghost of a woman who walks through a wall and the ghost of a man who appears on the roof of the house and outside a glass door. As the movie progresses and the ghosts continue to appear, the childrens' behavior changes to the point of being strange and obnoxious. As a result, Deborah Kerr starts to wonder about what happened to the previous governess and her lover. Kerr feels that it's possible that the ghosts of these people are trying to destroy the childrens' innocence. On the other hand, the haunted happenings could be just her imagination. The children really get on Kerr's case when she insists she's seeing ghosts and wants the children to notice them, but the children don't see them. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was all the yelling and screaming by the children. It occurred a little too often.
One of my favorite scenes occurs when Kerr is walking through the house with a candle holder in hand, investigating strange things that are happening. It is such a spooky scene. There are some classic haunting situations throughout the movie that are eerie and will scare you, some familiar, some innovative.
Just like The Haunting (1963), this movie's atmosphere benefits from and is enhanced by the black and white filming because to me, black and white makes it darker and spookier. There's just something about black and white that works.
If you're up for a good ghost story, buy this movie. You won't be disappointed. It's one of the all-time great haunted house movies.』
(THE INNOCENTS - 1961 - DIR: JACK CLAYTON) 『Anyone who has read my review of 'Village of the Damned' on the MovieKids site, will have gathered that I do have a bit of a 'thing' about Martin Stephens, the young child star of this film. Hardly surprising, when having experienced that totally controlled, (for such a young actor), icy malevolence he brought to his role there, and then to discover that he is only just one year older (13) in 'The Innocents', I find that he is exhibiting a massive and almost adult, but certainly highly mature understanding of his role as the haunted boy, Miles, who is apparently possessed by the spirit of his dead mentor, (or tormentor!), Peter Quint, the former gamekeeper. This man, according to Henry James, the author of the novel,'The Turn of the Screw', from which this story is taken, 'made free' with the boy! What are we to deduce? Is this the way things are or were? Who knows! Is Miles truly the 'wicked boy', sent home from his boarding school for 'being a bad influence' on the other boys, or is he just a sad, tormented youngster who is being led to believe, by his possibly misled and obsessive governess, that he is indeed evil? Are he and his sister even the victims of paedophilic abuse? Or - the willing partners in an adult game they are consciously embracing and desperately want to be a part of? Whatever conclusion we come to, Martin Stephens, with his intelligent understanding of what he is portraying, coupled with huge acting skills gained from his previous, equally demanding two roles, provides us with a character of a boy who is both charming and extremely bright but who is also secretive and devious - and yes! - certainly highly sensual - and who is almost playfully leading the somewhat gullible Miss Giddins, (his Governess, played by the brilliant Deborah Kerr - watch out for one of the most famous - or infamous - screen kisses of all time between an adult and a child!!), a merry dance, along with his equally charming and seemingly guileless girl co-star, Pamela Franklin - young star of 'The Lion', - with his game of 'Am I - Aren't I?', `Will I - Won't I?', down the path of, for her, almost demented paranoia. Have I whetted your appetite for this unique production? I hope so! Get it - see it - and you will almost certainly be beguiled by this, the first outing for its young Director, Jack Clayton - (very soon after to be showered with accolades for his subsequent oeuvres) - in a work of dark suspicion, adult moral dilemma - or - childhood fantasy games, playing up to the adult gallery? Or - is it? See for yourself! The memory of my first viewing of this brilliant movie, in a darkened cinema of 1961, and presented by what was certainly a highly imaginative cinema projectionist, will never leave me. However, the very same haunting experience is still there on the smaller screen and I, for one, would most certainly not be without it in my vast collection of classic movies. 』
(The Innocents DVD - Movie) 『Not a great movie. I suppose it was considered good for its time. The acting was horrible as were many movies in 1961 I suppose. I was bored with it halfway through. I love old movies...but this one's not on my list of favorites. I don't recommend it.』 『Deborah Kerr stars in this "horrifying Gothic ghost tale" (Newsweek) based on Henry James' "The Turn Of The Screw,' a powerful psychological drama about innocence possessed by evil. Shortly after coming to live with orphans Flora and Miles in their dark, eerie mansion, the new governess (Kerr) mistakes their strange behavior for preciousness. But she soon comes to believe that the charming, beautiful children are possessed by evil, malicious spirits - the souls of their previous governess and estate manager who are now dead. With its shocking conclusion and sinister cinematic effects. The Innocents "catches an eerie, spine-chilling mood right from the start" (Variety) that never lets up.』 『The definitive screen adaptation of Henry James'sThe Turn of the Screw, the 1961 production ofThe Innocentsremains one of the most effective ghost stories ever filmed. Originally promoted as the first truly "adult" chiller of the big screen (a marginally valid claim considering the release ofPsychoa year earlier), the film arrived at a time when the thematic depth of James's story could finally be addressed without the compromise of reductive discretion. And while the Freudian anxiety that fuels the story may seem tame by today's standards, the psychological horrors that comprise the story's "dark secret" are given full expression in a film that brilliantly clouds the boundary between tragic reality and frightful imagination.
In one of her finest performances, Deborah Kerr stars as Miss Giddons, a devout and somewhat repressed spinster who happily accepts the position of governess for two orphaned children whose uncle (Michael Redgrave) readily admits to having no interest in being tied down by two "brats." So Miss Giddons is dispatched to Bly House, the lavish, shadowy estate where young Flora (Pamela Franklin) and her brother Miles (Martin Stephens, so memorable in 1960'sVillage of the Damned) live with a good-natured housekeeper (Megs Jenkins). At first, life at Bly House seems splendidly idyllic, but as Miss Giddons learns the horrible truth about the estate's now-deceased groundskeeper and previous governess, she begins to suspect that her young charges are ensnared in a devious plot from beyond the grave.
Ghostly images are revealed in only the most fleeting glimpses, and the outstanding Cinemascope photography by Freddie Francis (who used special filters to subtly darken the edges of the screen) turns Bly House into a welcoming mansion by day, a maze of mystery and terror by night. Sound effects and music are used to bone-chilling effect, and director Jack Clayton, blessed with a script by William Archibald and Truman Capote, maintains a deliberate pace to emphasize the ambiguity of James's timeless novella. The result is a masterful film--comparable to the 1963 classicThe Haunting--that uses subtlety and suggestion to reach the pinnacle of fear.--Jeff Shannon』

Maybe not an exactly scary movie but an agonizing one. You follow the despair of people who dont know exactly what is going on when a strange, supernatural mist literally invades a small town and envelopes everything on a horrifying and almost living shroud. A group trapped in a supermarket by the mist suddenly begins to be attacked by incredible monsters (in spectacular effects)apparently coming from some unknown zone inside the mist. Fastly the group splits in two factions, those who are afraid and do nothing and those who are afraid and intend to take some action to scape from this twilight zone-situation, facing the unknown (oh, there is an explanation, the old cliche, an obscure military experience...). Usually the good guys win and have a happy end but here cruelly the good guys loose, taking the wrong decisions... really one of the best horror movies of this century.』
(A movie can't be different now days.) 『I loved this movie and i can't see why most people don't like it,it wasn't no Dark Knight, but it had its own style,Yes the acting could be better but who cares, all i want is a good story and that's what we got.I know alot of the folks on here may have left the same reviews on Youtube, but you will still get the latter like me who loved this movie for being its own.The ending left me shocked and had me thinking like damn atleast you knew the military was kicking ass because hey it was their screw-up and they had to fix it.Wish he would had waited a few before he killed everyone tho. That's what happens when you believe its the end of the world and you wouldn't the one you care about to be food for those creatures.Realistic ending indeed i would surely had done the same. But why didn't he just jump in front of one of the tanks when he knew he screwed up big time huh lol.So to all the haters out there who wants a movie to be epic like DarkKnight was this wasnt that type of movie just watch the movie for what it was,a Horror Picture.』
(Worst Ending I've Ever Seen) 『This movie was a five-star icky bug right until that disgusting bummer ending. I've never been more mad at a movie in my life.
When it comes to bummer endings, I thought The Ruins had it in the bag. However, after seeing this piece of trash, I can see why Mr. King gave a big fat blurb for the book version of The Ruins.
The whole movie, right until the end was great. Lots of mystery, plenty of icky bugs, and a sort-of explanation of why it might be happening. Then there are the actions of the people trapped in the store. The religious fanatic who whips everyone into a religious frenzy was a big nod to Lord Of The Flies and how it is handled by the heroes is one of the best scenes in the movie.
However, it all boils down to the payoff, the ending. This is where the movie gets 90% of its rating. As I said at the beginning, it was five stars up until that scene in the SUV as they are sitting out of gas. Maybe there were alternative endings and I happened to get the bad one. Or, maybe it was always intended to be this way. I don't even know if the original short story ended that way as I'm not a big fan of Mr. King's books. All I can say is that the less than five minute ending scene ruined what was a top-notch icky bug.
Some people like bummer endings. More power to them. As far as I'm concerned, I got ripped off. Not recommended at all. 』
(Another Beer Would Have Been Better) 『The Mist is another example of extraordinary special effects talent mismatched with horrid direction and writing. Were it not for special effects one would think one was having an out-of-joint conversation with a schizophrenic. The truly ponderable thing about this movie is how a ninth-grade film class, apparently, came by the big money to produce it.』
(Improvement over DVD, but not perfect) 『I won't review the movie; if you want a review, go to imdb. That being said, I saw this in theaters, purchased the 2-disc collectors DVD when it was released, and now that I've gone Blu-ray, am replacing that DVD. So I guess I like this movie.
In upconversion, the DVD suffered from haloing; where bright whites tended to unnaturally bleed into adjacent colors. Like when a person is backlit with a bright light, but is not dark from the front, the edges of that person would glow. I found this extremely distracting. The Blu-ray solves this problem, but the graininess in darker scenes is about the same. Scenes are sharper, but when they're in the back of the store, for example, the shadows are still full of grain.
I'm glad I replaced the DVD, but am a little disappointed in the grainy artifacts that still exist in the transfer.』 『A mysterious mist, thick with blood-thirsty creatures, descends on a small town, where a group of people holes up in a grocery store to fight for their lives.』 『Writer-director Frank Darabont, who showcased the softer side of Stephen King in his film adaptations ofThe Shawshank RedemptionandThe Green Mile, turns to darker material forThe Mist, his latest King adaptation about a group of ordinary townspeople trapped in a supermarket by a mysterious fogbank. Thomas Jane is top-billed as a Maine illustrator who attempts to calm the frightened shoppers, but his job is cut out for him from the get-go, first by the discovery of malevolent creatures lurking in the mist, and then by the mad mutterings of Mrs. Carmody (Marcia Gay Harden), a local eccentric who calls for Old Testament-style sacrifices to appease the supernatural forces. Darabont delivers monster movie thrills and understated social commentary with equal skill, and he's well supported by his cast (which includes Andre Braugher, Toby Jones, William Sadler and Jeffrey DeMunn) and the vivid special effects by KNB EFX, which effectively mix CGI with models and stop-motion animation (the terrific monsters were designed by legendary comic book artist Bernie Wrightson). And for those curious about how the novella's downbeat ending has translated to film, suffice it to say that Darabont's conclusion is at once different and more unsettling than King's.--Paul Gaita』

Ichabod Crane is not very likeable and by the end of the film you are anxiously awaiting the Headless Horseman. Brahm Bones is portrayed as a very likeable fellow which is a contrast of other versions of the legend. The ending was a bit of a let down, but overall the movie is worth a watch. However if you can catch it on tv you might decide that it's not something that you would be interested in before you spend your money on it.』
(First-Rate CLASSIC true to the original story) 『I am disappointed in some of the reviews of this movie. Just because there aren't any drop-dead gorgeous A-list movie stars, tons of computer generated graphics or blood&guts---they think it's "boring?" Unbelievable. The headless horseman takes some imagination, the legend is to play tricks on your head as you walk through the woods alone at night ... this movie is SUPERB and stays true to Irving's tale of small-town superstition and the quirky character in Ichabod Crane.』
(Faithful adaptation though plodding in parts) 『I'm a great fan of Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow" starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci. However, I'm also familiar with the original story by Washington Irving and aware that the Burton movie took many liberties with the plot.
In "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" [1999], the story remains for the most part faithful to the original story, and has Brent Carver playing the title role of bumbling, ambitious schoolmaster Ichabod Crane. He is perfect in this role and I truly felt entertained by his eccentricities and clumsy gestures. His object of affection, the wealthy farmer's daughter, Katrina Van Tassel is ably portrayed by the pretty Rachelle Lefevre, who plays an intelligent young woman with dreams of travelling the world. Paul Lemelin plays Abraham Bones, the impoverished farmer who loves Katrina yet is frustrated by her reluctance to leave her parents for a new life elsewhere. As the story is stretched to about 1.5 hrs in length, the main focus of the story is the love' triangle' between Ichabod, Katrina and Abraham.
I felt the movie dragged in some parts, possibly because the director felt certain scenes were necessary to 'pad' the story. It's difficult when the source story itself is just a short story, hence the resort to padding the storyline whilst staying faithful to the essence of the story.
"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is a family-friendly movie as there are no gory parts [unlike Burton's "Sleepy Hollow" which had truly scary parts and some disturbing themes] and the language is "clean". This makes a great Halloween movie for the family, and will also appeal to fans of Irving's short story.』
(Good depiction!) 『I enjoyed The Legend of Sleepy Hollow when it came out on Hallmark in 1999, and wondered why they never ran it again. Was wishing I could see it again. I asked the local Hallmark store, a few years ago, and they didn't know anything about it???? Said it must not have been a "Hallmark" movie! So, decided to look on Amazon this year and now I have a copy. Thanks Amazon.』

(Great If You Want Them Cheap!!) 『If you want all these movies this is really the best deal. I would recommend.』
(Halloween movies) 『I just purchased all of the Halloween movies on DVD. I got a great price on this 3 pack and all of the movies were good. The only one I didn't like (that didn't have anything to do with Michael) was Part III and it wasn't in this set.』
(Very cool triple feature!) 『 "Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers" is set six years after the last movie, it seems that Jamie Lloyd (JC Brandy) has grown up yet been impregnated by a secret cult of druids as she gives birth to a child and Michael destroys her leaving the baby to be orphaned. The Strode family has moved into Michael's house as they believe it's safe until the Shape has returned yet again to Haddonfield and Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasance) is still after him to find out what is his next secret intention of killing is. "Halloween H2O: 20 Years Later" is definitely what the title means as it's set 20 years after Halloweens 1 and 2 meaning it forgets that Halloweens 3 to 6 ever happened, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) faked her own death in Haddonfield as she moved on to California where she is raising a 17 year old son (Josh Harnett) and is now a head-mistress of a private school as she wants to live her life on after witnessing her brother Michael Myers burned in the hospital. However it seems the Shape just won't stay dead as he has been searching for her for many years yet he has as it's up to Laurie to put a stop to him once and for all. "Halloween Resurrection" is set 4 years after the last one, Myers is back alive as he goes back to his beloved hometown of Haddonfield. A producer (Busta Rhymes) hires some local college students to become part of a program that explores into the house of Myers for a WebTV reality show as it seems the William Shatner faced killer is out for blood.
Each of the films co-star Paul Rudd, LL Cool J, Marianne Hagen, Tyra Banks, Michelle Williams, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Janet Leigh and Adam Arkin. Now "Curse of Michael Myers" is definitely a weak as hell sequel that got butchered due to studio budget and there is a copy of the Producer's cut that can be found on the internet. "H2O" is the best of the Myers sequels since part 2 and 4 as it continues off the Laurie Strode and Myers story as i thought it would have been the end of the series but "Resurrection" was definitely the worst movie of the series. I mean come on, Busta Rhymes kicking Michael's butt saying some stupid lines? it's just plain wrong.
Curse of Michael Myers is bareboned, H2O has a featurette with trivia game and music video and finally Resurrection has commentary, storyboard comparisons, tour of set, deleted and alternate scenes with optional commentary, and featurettes.』
(An Awesome HALLOWEEN Triple Feature!!!) 『HALLOWEEN: The Curse of Michael Myers- I really don't like the Thorn curse idea. Just because it's a HALLOWEEN film, I tolerate it. Dr. Loomis is awesome but he doesn't really do much in this one. Jamie Lloyd had a baby and now, Michael wants it, so it's up to Tommy Doyle (of the original) Dr. Loomis, Kara Strode and Danny Strode to stop Michael and protect the baby! Michael's evil should NOT be explained. It should be a mystery, a mystery hidden behind a mask. If you love the series, you might like HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS!!!
HALLOWEEN H20: Twenty Years Later- This is a pretty cool sequel! I remember being 8 years old and seeing it at the theatre. 20 years after Michael tried to kill Laurie Strode, he decides to try again. She lives under the name of Keri Tate. She has a son named John. She works as a head mistress at a private boarding school in Northern California. She has a boyfriend. Soon, Michael tears her life up again. She soon decides to fight back and finish her brother off once and for all...until the sequel. If you love the HALLOWEEN series, you'll love HALLOWEEN H20: TWENTY YEARS LATER!!!
HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION- As a hard-core HALLOWEEN fan, I feel like I'm the only one who truly loves this awesome sequel! I love the plot, the setting, and the mood in the film! Michael finally finishes off his sister, Laurie Strode, which kinda sucked. One year has passed and Freddie Harris starts a new website called DangerTainment and six lucky people win a chance to be in it, and the location is Michael Myers' childhood home. I love that the house looks just like the original house. Sara, Rudy, Jen, Bill, Donna, and Jim are the winners, and they meet Freddie and Nora for their interviews. Meanwhile, across town, Myles 'Deckard' Barton is watching Sara do her interview, because he is interested in her and has been helping her with internet stuff. on HALLOWEEN, they all go to the Myers house, and broadcast live on the Internet for millions of people to watch. No one can leave until the show is over, so they are all locked in. Little do they know, Michael is back and doesn't like uninvited guests. At a college HALLOWEEN party, Myles 'Deckard' is watching the show, and when Michael shows up, Myles believes that the people are actually being killed, but no one else at the party does until Sara is the last one alive and calls Myles for help to tell her where Michael is at. Freddie finds Sara and realizes what is happening. Most people hate that Busta Rhymes karate-chops Michael, but I have no problem at all with it! Later, in the garage, Sara has been knocked on the ground with some heavy equipment on her, and Michael is coming to kill her, then Freddie knocks the door down, and says "Trick or treat, motherfu#*er!" to Michael because he thought he killed Freddie. If you love sequels, horror, the internet, and the HALLOWEEN series, you'll love HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION!!! 』 『Halloween - The Curse of Michael Myers: For pulse-pounding suspense and relentless thrills, nothing can matchHALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS-- one of the most frightening chapters in the chillingHALLOWEENseries! Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (superb movie but... extras?) 『The Children is a brilliant, low-budget, intimate horror from the UK that delivers its shocks and sense of dread in bright winter sunlight, in dazzlingly lit rooms full of glittering Xmas cheer, inside a beautiful country house. It amounts to a superb evocation of family breakdown in the face of crisis (I disagree with a reviewer who wanted a more explanatory history of the virus; even the microscope-eye-view of the multiplying viral culprit was unnecessary). The irritating young upper-middle-class professionals get their come-uppance, as it were, for paying so little attention to their children and are compelled (by their unwillingness to face up to their own realities) to blame one another for the domestic apocalypse breeding around them and specifically to accuse the astute and intuitive Casey, the teenage daughter who IS paying attention and sees exactly what's happening, but whose burgeoning sexuality is more than the "adults" want to acknowledge (especially Chloe, who doesn't like the dubious attention her husband is giving Casey). Hannah Tointon's hypnotising performance as Casey is the anchor of the movie - she's clearly going to be a major screen actress in years to come. But all the performances are great, although a lot of women viewers (not to mention we gay men) will be disappointed that mega-hunky Jeremy Sheffield (SPOILER COMING UP!) meets such an early and horrifying end. Ultimately the movie suggests that the "adults" are the ones behaving like untrustworthy children, while the actual kids are in the thrall of a kind of viral anomie and bewilderment that can only express itself in rage at the world they've been born into. A deeply unsettling and stunningly achieved movie. And it's full of brief but telling details - a viewer on IMDB has observed, for example, that Casey's "foetal" tattoo is a reproduction of the cover art for Sigur Ros's 'Agaetis Byrjun'. One caveat re the US DVD - is it just me, or are some of the Special Features promised on the box - 'Snow Set design'/ 'Inside Tom Shankland's Lair'/ 'Micro video featuring In This Moment' - not repeat NOT among the actual Special Features available on the disc????』
(KIDS DO THE DARNDEST THING) 『A Christmas gathering goes horribly awry in this chiller. Some kind of virus affects foue darling youngsters who turn murderously aggressive. Starting out sinisterly slow, the movie builds as the youngsters start bumping off the adults. I wish there had been some kind of back story on what/where the virus started but it's the ambiguity that makes it all the more frightening. Watch this with ORPHAN and OFFSPRING and you may never want to have kids!』
(Not great. Not good either.) 『The film has some moments of suspense, but it made me want to watch The Brood or Orphan. The adults are all one dimensional and completely unlikeable. You won't care when they die. There are a lot of moments that definitely speak..."not enough money to show that". The music was too much...it was very "oh something creepy is happening, well not yet..but soon...no no no" The ending was a little too abrupt and the the film was just too bright. It might have been more effective if it was shot at night. It might even have saved the film. It's worth one viewing.』
(Creepy) 『A nice refreshing change of pace from all the torture terrors. Just nice, fun, homicidal children. Actually, this is a great little chiller because it had a few ingredients other horror films seem to lack these days: real suspense, eerie soundtrack, and a really good sense of tension. Quite enjoyable for the thriller-lover. recommended. (and a good excuse to skip the next famly function or join planned parenthood).』
(these kids need a spanking) 『the cover says it was from the creators of the evil dead trilogy. that's all. i know this is sam raimi's imprint, but i'm not sure if there is more involvement or what, but i couldn't disagree more with the previous reviewers. if this is the best ghost house release, then it's not saying much about their material (rue morgue magazine is critical of their releases too). like everyone says, some flu type virus hits only the kids and they kill off the adults. this movie definately makes the kids look brilliant and the adults look like idiots. the teenage girl (hannah tointon) was the highlight of this movie. very good looking and a smokin' body. none of the other kids nor the adults were likeable. it's a very forgetable movie. one, two viewings at best and it will be collecting dust on your dvd shelf.』 『You brought them into the world. They will take you out. A family anticipates a Christmas filled with sledding, laughter and hot cocoa as they head to their vacation home in the secluded backcountry…The holiday cheer takes a fast turn for the worse after a mysterious flu-like virus sweeps through the kids. (One of my Favorite Stephen King Films!!!) 『Besides Carrie, Christine is my 2nd favorite Stephen King film! John Carpenter did an awesome job at directing this, as he did with my all-time favorite movie, HALLOWEEN! I love the idea of a classic red 1958 Plymouth Fury being possessed and kills for her owner. Her name is Christine. A nerd named Arnie Cunningham finds a crappy Plymouth Fury, and fixes it up. After he fixes it, it looks awesome! The bullies that pick on Arnie and trash Christine get whats comin' to them. Arnie's friend, Dennis, and Arnie's girlfried, Leigh try to find out about Christine's haunted past and try to stop her from taking over Arnie, who is now obsessed with Christine. I love how Christine fixes herself. If you love horror, classic cars, and Stephen King films, you'll love CHRISTINE!!!』
(Christine- good old suspense) 『This is still a good old suspense movie. Shilling and thrilling. Christine is a red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury who seduces 17-year-old Arnie Cunningham (Keith Gordon). She demands his complete and unquestioned devotion and when outsiders seek to interfere, they become the victims of Christine's horrifying wrath. This special edition is packed with added features. Starring Keith Gordon, John Stockwell, Harry Dean Stanton, Christine Belford. A Stephen King classic.』 『She can't (and won't) drive 55.... Stephen King's novel about the twisted love affair between a boy and his car gets transferred to the screen, courtesy of suspense master John Carpenter. Although lacking some of the more outré supernatural elements of the source material, this high-octane cinematic tune-up more than delivers the goods, horror-wise (Christine's midnight rampages will never be forgotten)--as well as being a sly exposé of the random cruelties within the high-school pecking order. Keith Gordon (who has gone on to become a stellar director in his own right, with films such asA Midnight ClearandMother Nightto his credit) gives a wonderfully controlled central performance. Carpenter's atmospheric original score is backed up by a well-chosen collection of rock classics, including George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone" (the titular character's all-too-apt theme song).--Andrew Wright』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (OVERALL PRETTY GOOD!!!!!) 『I had no problems playing these discs and am happy with the picture quality. I have grudgingly accepted the use of reissue trailers for Universal's films because this seems to be all they have. The major problems are with Buck Privates and One Night In The Tropics. The cast title card for One Night In The Tropics is a replacement and so is the end title. Universal reached the height of laziness with this. The VHS release is all original. It appears they just use whatever print they find lying around at the time. Buck Privates is all original except for the last scene where superimposed on the picture is "re-released by Realart Pictures". This shows not just laziness, but no quality control, a don't care attitude, and a lack of respect for both the film and the consumer. The VHS has a Realart title card but the ending is clean. So they could of very easily used two prints to make one good whole print. That is what really infuriates me. Now I have to hold on to my old VHS. Is there anyone at Universal that really cares about what they put out? The only reason I knocked off one star is because of this problem. It sounds like Universal's "don't care" attitude continues, as evidenced by the problems with the new "complete" collection.』
(Great Classic Comedies) 『I love these old episodes! This is true comedy, nothing like much of the trash that is being produced today (just my opinion).』
(Abbott&Costello #3) 『More laughter - can't get enough - more in the series. Never duplicated again by anyone - they are the original - funny!!!!』
("Abbboooooott!") 『I picked this up last Christmas for a family member. At their zenith, Abbott and Costello were the best comedy team in pictures and on radio. Charlie Chaplin praised their genius, and Groucho Marx remarked that Bud Abbott was the best straight man in the business. It wasn't highbrow comedy to be sure, but people loved watching the boys inadvertently get into a jam and make us laugh.
The country was at war during all the pictures included on this set, giving Americans some laughter to go along with the tears shed by many who discovered by ominous telegram that their loved one was not coming home. Much as Fred and Ginger helped get the country through the Great Depression, Bud and Lou got the people back home through WWII.
There are no duds here, as every film is funny and a nice pick-up for A&C fans. Bud and Lou were either getting mixed up in some crazy scheme, on the run from killers, or wrecking havoc in the U.S. Military. They got to play cowboy (Ride 'Em Cowboy), travel to the South Seas (Pardon My Sarong), solve a radio show murder (Who Done It?), and spend the night in a haunted house (Hold that Ghost).
After catapulting to stardom in One Night in the Tropics, the studio immediately gave them over to Uncle Sam in Buck Privates. With help from The Andrew Sisters, the boys wrecked havoc and overcame a slight script to secure their spot at the box office.
With help from Nat Pendleton and Shemp Howard, Slicker (Bud) and Herbie (Lou) poked fun at peeling potatoes and boot camp while The Andrew Sisters sang some breezy war songs and the classic, "I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time." It was lovely Jane Frazee who brightened the film up, however, as Alan Curtis and Bob Martin tried to win her heart. Her "I Wish You Were Here" musical number is a highlight.
In Pardon My Sarong Bud and Lou are a couple of Chicago bus drivers who take a detour to a tropical island with beautiful Virginia Bruce and Robert Paige. It is one of their most fun outings, Nan Wynn taking a shine to Lou while treasure hunter Lionel Atwill tries to lure him into a volcano! With the boys stranded on an island where every girl is named Luana, and Vera West dressing Virgina Bruce, this one is a can't miss for fans.
Who Done It? had our pals trying to break into radio as mystery writers for Murder at Midnight. Louise Albritton, Mary Wickes, Patrick Knowles, William Gargen, and William Bendix offer great support as a real murder occurs during a broadcast of the show, and Chick and Mervin play detective while attempting to avoid the real cops so they can get their big break. It holds a special place in the heart of all old radio fans, and there are some hilarious bits from the boys along the way; they even take a moment to poke fun at themselves. And the identification Lou produces to collect on a radio contest is a riot!
Many regard Hold that Ghost as the boy's best. When Bud and Lou lose their jobs as waiters in a fancy nightclub, they go back to pumping gas. Circumstance lands them in the car of gangster Moose Malloy when he bites the dust. Since his will leaves everything, including a hidden fortune everyone is after, to the last people with him at his demise, hilarity can't be far behind.
Lovely "B" favorite Evelyn Ankers and the very funny Joan Davis join Bud and Lou as they head to the hotel they've inherited. Richard Carlson's bookish scientist joins them at the tavern during a storm while gangsters try to find the stash and and scare off the boys. Joan Davis is especially good as a "screamer" from the movies who may be as big a coward as Lou. Their crazy dance together to the Blue Danube is a riot! Ankers and Carlson have the straight parts as she tries to get him to take off his glasses long enough to realize what is right before his eyes.
Universal gave this one everything it had, including The Andrew Sisters, who get to sing "Sleepy Serenade" and the Brazilian, "Aurora." This one is a lot of fun to watch, not a dull moment anywhere in sight. Fans of Bud and Lou have to own this one, making this set indispensable. A combination of great Abbott and Costello films every fan should own!』
(Reflections of a bygone era) 『The first DVD collection of eight A&C movies with Universal Recording Studios is truly memorable. The mainstays of this collection are the three service films, Buck Privates, In The Navy and Keep 'em Flying. These films harken back to a time when Hollywood actually showed patriotism, unlike the liberal-run Hollywood of today, which uses movies to sabotage national pride. One can certainly feel the pride and admiration of our armed forces shining through. The Andrews Sisters' "You're a lucky fellow, Mr. Smith" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" are a testament to this patriotic attitude. Today's Hollywood crowd can take lessons from these films.
The very first film to showcase A&C, A Night in The Tropics, does not feature the boys, but rather centers around a love insurance ploy, with A&C as minor characters performing routines sprinkled throughout the movie for laughs. And no doubt, the laughs come in bunches. Although much maligned for not featuring A&C, the film is actually pretty good, standing on its own merit. Plus it's notable since it represents A&C debut on the big screen.
Hold That Ghost propels A&C into the direction of comedy terror, and foreshadows later "A&C MEET..." films. The boys here play heirs to a gangsters bequeathment, which they stumble onto in a right place/right time situation. As usual, A&C films have their share of political incorrectness, in this case Ted Lewis singing in a night club "Me And My Shadow", with his very black sidekick mimicking his every move behind him. AWESOME.
Next the boys delve into the comedy western genre in Ride' Em Cowboy. This film sees the boys head off to a dude ranch to get their many laughs. Highlighting this film is Costello's hysterical ride of a wild bucking bronco. Meanwhile, the politically incorrectness here has Costello spending the enire film eluding Red Indians, "those darned Redskins" as the calls them. Not too flattering portrayal of Indians, but so what. It's funny. Get over it. Ride 'Em Cowboy is also significant because it represents a young, unknown singer's first appearance on screen, entertaining a busload of vacationers with "A Tisket A Tasket, My Green and Yellow Basket". She would eventually move on to international prominence and fame. Abbott&Costello can boast launching the career of this young, up&coming star, Ella Fitzgerald!
Pardon My Sarong I have always felt is one of A&C's most underrated, underappreciated movies. The boys manage to steal a Chicago bus, and through fate and misfortune end up on a tropical island dodging jewel thieves. POLITICALLY INCORRECT MOMENT: A singing quartet of black dudes billing themselves The Four Ink Spots! Gotta love it. Try that today, Hollywood.
Capping off this DVD release is A&C's first of two murder mysteries, Who Done It (the other being A&C Meet the Killer, which can be found on DVD SET THREE). Here the boys play amateur detectives to solve the murder of a radio station executive.
A&C films certainly reflect the values and refreshing insensitivity of the 1940s. Anyone wanting to get a taste of how it used to be should get these films; highly recommended.

He makes fun of himself throughout the whole movie, even having the locals misspell his name on a poster. Yeah he makes fun of the chinese or what a reviewer called racist. But most of us orientals just smile looking up from our bean curd and keep on trucking. I would think the French would be bad mothing this movie as well as the white gys in the backwoods for the way they were shown in this movie. It is part of the way Bruce Campbell's movies are. Entertaining if you like Bruce Campbell movies but if you hate them well what can I say?』
(Who thought this was a good idea?) 『My Name Is Bruce would be mildly entertaining if it weren't also blatantly racist. Ted Raimi participates in some of the most offensive yellowface I've seen in years as the character Wing. Mickey Rooney's portrayal of Mr. Yunioshi in Breakfast At Tiffany's is almost tame by comparison. It's a shame, because I would otherwise have liked to support this movie.』
(God, I love Bruce Campbell!) 『Let me preface this by saying that Ted Raimi did NOT write this review, LOL. (People who saw the movie will get that joke.)
Anyway, this movie is a great tongue-in-cheek spoof of Bruce Campbell THE MOVIE STAR vs. Bruce Campbell THE ORDINARY JOE. I've watched it so many times, I just can't get enough. I've loved Bruce since Evil Dead, and I've seen him at Fango WOH's before in L.A., and I have to say he's just as over-the-top in person as on the screen. This movie is just too funny ... and oddly true to life, ha ha!
』
(Terrifically Bad!) 『I love America earnestly, and admit this without embarrassment or reluctance. I even proudly served in our nation's armed forces out of a sense of patriotic calling. Though I realize that our country is not perfect, just as no nation or society inhabited by fallible humans can achieve perfection in the practice of its principles or execution of its laws. Nonetheless, I truly believe this is one of the few societies in this world's history that where noble aspirations for governance have been successfully (though not perfectly) established to ensure freedom and stability - and the U.S. is still the one with the best track record.
That having been said, if I were to list the things about American society that I am least fond of, one of them is the fetish that a large portion of the population has with low-grade worshipping of celebrity pop "culture" (an ironic and oxymoronic phrase). To be obsessed about which `celebrity' (an arbitrary, nebulous, loosely defined, often temporary, and ultimately insubstantial designation) is dating whom, or preoccupied about the status of a celebrity's marriage, or to be keenly interested about their mundane and tedious activities is a reliable indication of the banality of one's own existence. Furthermore, the dubious standard for obtaining celebrity status is both becoming much easier and much less meaningful.
Even more astonishing is the thorough extent to which these unremarkable vessels of self-promotion and mediocrity actually take themselves seriously. Even on those rare occasions when celebrities `deign' to allow a feebly satirical portrayal of themselves, it is still limited to the narrow and vacuous limitations that their conceit and vanity permit, rather than an earnest or bold or creative bit of self-effacing humor.
That is not to say that there aren't some celebrities who don't take themselves too seriously, and have a solid sense of humor to prove it.
A case in point:
The Mrs. and I rented MY NAME IS BRUCE this past weekend. It is a scathing yet rather amusing self-parody starring and directed by none other than cult-favorite icon himself: Bruce Campbell. It is remarkable in the humorously unflattering portrayal of the film's protagonist and principle lead - which are the same person. What makes this work so effectively is Campbell's having the sense of humor and robust self-esteem (without seemingly being overwhelmed by the mound of insecurities which seems to accompany and define the caricature of pop culture "celebrity") that enable him to make fun of himself in such an effective and entertaining manner. It is a brutally fictitious (hopefully) satire which depicts Campbell as a third-rate screen hack and a thoroughly dysfunctional egomaniac whose personal life is an utter mess and whose everyday existence is depicted as a glib version of one of Dante's circles.
THE PLOT: While Bruce is filming a remarkably bad low-budget sci-fi film (even by Bruce's own undemanding standards), a homicidal demon is released into a small Oregon town by teenaged shenanigans. One of said teens is a completely devout Bruce Campbell fanatic whose idolization borders on obsession.
Getting it in his head that Bruce Campbell's on-screen persona would translate into real-life heroics, the teen convinces the town that Bruce is the only hope they have of saving themselves from the demon's murderous wrath. Thinking it's some kind of a gig, Bruce shows up (not entirely voluntary) and is treated like minor royalty by the townspeople who, unbeknownst to Bruce, expect the irritatingly entitled and obnoxiously aloof actor to save them and their town. (END of PLOT SUMMARY)
Though the Mrs. and I are choosy about comedies and I am not an easy laugh, we had (guardedly) optimistic expectations about enjoying the film. As it turned out, this movie was even funnier than we thought it would be! There are several Laugh-Out-Loud moments throughout the film, which may be destined for an esteemed place in the pantheon of cult filmdom (it could happen).
MY NAME IS BRUCE is purposely done as a bad cheap low-budget movie to mirror Campbell's life with that of his filmwork. It has some cartoonish violence (no explicit gore) and some language that might make it a better film to watch when the little ones aren't in the room, but otherwise is a lot of laughs. It's one of the most entertaining films we have seen in quite a while. Even the Special Features have some humorous and interesting material. In fact, watching the behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the film is actually more interesting and entertaining than some films I can think of.
Granted, this movie may not be for everyone. The demographic is somewhat easily defined. In fact, the young woman working the register at Blockbuster where&when we rented the film told us she didn't like the movie, but that's because clearly she was mentally ill. She also said that she didn't even like ARMY OF DARKNESS at all. How disturbed is she???
Nonetheless, if you're the kind who would consider renting or watching this film in the first place, it's a fair to good bet that statistically you will most likely enjoy the film. And darn it, that's your right as an American! 』
(The Return of the Chin) 『Bruce Campbell is back and as usual in great form. First of all if your not a bruce campbell fan or dont enjoy his movies then you probably wont like this one as it is trademark campbell....cheesiness and all. For the rest of us(his fans)we are instore for a treat. Bruce is back with a new movie and his all to familiar one-liners. the story itself is a bit cheesy but what did you expect? If you love b-movies,bruce campbell or b-movies with bruce campbell in them youll love this movie. Guan-di, the Chinese protector of the dead with a strange affinity for bean curd, has been awakened by reckless teenagers, and now his bloody crusade to wipe out the town's entire population can only be stopped by one man - Bruce Campbell (the guy who starred in all three Evil Dead movies and Bubba Ho-tep), B-move star and deadbeat ex-husband extraordinaire, who's recruited to be their unwitting savior. Thinking the whole scenario's a publicity prank, Bruce is distracted from his mission by a hot mom and fan boys aplenty-- but when our hero has to face off against a dark force more fearsome than a Hollywood agent, the laughs and screams start flying!

Campbell also directed Bruce, and brings a loose, kitchen-sink vibe to the proceedings, which has teenager and die-hard Bruce Campbell fan Jeff (Taylor Sharp) kidnap his idol in order to save his small town from an ancient Chinese demon. Unfortunately, the movie Bruce Campbell is a broken-down, booze-swilling reprobate who lacks even an ounce of the insouciant charm of his screen persona inEvil Dead 2or theHerculesseries, and proves woefully inadequate in dispelling the monster. But as films ranging fromCat BallouandMy Favorite YeartoGalaxy QuestandThree Amigos!have proven, the unwavering belief of a fan can bring out the hero in even the worst heel, and Bruce rises to the occasion in the picture's final third. Obviously,Bruceis slated towards fans of Campbell's eccentric screen c.v., and aficionados will undoubtedly appreciate the endless slew of nods to his previous films, as well as cameos by many of his co-stars, including Ted Raimi in multiple roles (one of which is a Chinese gentleman that gives Mickey Rooney inBreakfast at Tiffany'sa run for his money in the stereotype department). Campbell himself remains the movie's chief selling point; his knack for physical humor (read: self-abuse) and pulpy line readings have lost none of their charm, which does much to override some of the flick's flotilla of stale gags. Campbell's sense of humor is also given free reign on the commentary track, which he shares with producer Mike Richardson; the DVD, which comes with a 24-page comic book adaptation from Dark Horse, also includes an amusing making-of featurette, as well as a spoofy tell-all mockumentary on the "real" Bruce Campbell, and a trailer for the atrocious film-within-a-film,Cavealien 2.-- Paul Gaita
