This season is about how Kagome lives a double life as a preasent-day schoolgirl and feudal-era demon slayer. Together with Inuyasha and friends, she continues the quest to collect the shards of the Sacred Jewel. With the threat of archenemy Naraku lurking at every turn, our heroes must face an array of foes, including a jelaous dark priestess, an evil mountion sage, giant ogres and deadly traps. THIS SERIES IS AWESOME!
This season does not just have the 27 episodes, it also has:stereo, bilingual (japanese&english), english subtitles, scene access menu, inuyasha special footage, and the textless opening and ending.
BUY THIS NOW! YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED!』
(Inuyasha Season 3) 『Wonderful season! It really has no boring episodes like other season. It has romance, action, and more enemies. Naraku's reincarnations, Kagura and Kanana, are amazing! I just love how Inuyasha helps others even when he acts all macho and such. Definitely a wonderful buy!』
(The third season of Inuyasha) 『This box set contains the twenty-seven episodes that make up the third season of the Inuyasha anime series. There are also three special features: an "Inuyasha Super Special" that recaps what happened during the second season of Inuyasha (I assume this aired in Japan right before the third season started), the "textless opening," and the "textless closing."
Unlike the first two season box sets, there were absolutely no trailers included on this box set. This wasa very welcome change from having the trailers included at the beginning of each disc for the second season dvd box set.
When it comes to the episodes, season three relied more on stories that spanned multiple episodes, even though there were only a couple of episodes that were labeled as being multi-part episodes. There were fewer stand alone episodes in this season when compared to seasons one and two. The third season definitely focused a lot more on character stories and character progressions than the previous two seasons.
This set is a "must have" if you are a fan of Inuyasha. While the special features aren't very impressive, the episodes included on this set help to shed some light on the characters and their motivations.』
(even better than 2) 『this series just keeps getting better as it goes on. if you were a fan of season 2 than you have to pick this up. the plot keeps getting thicker and is a must have. cant find any flaws in the series yet.』
(one of the reasons i love Anime so much) 『It isnt hard to believe that this show continued to bring in fans. It has your standard anime good vs evil. Monsters, battles upon battles and all of that other stuff. But Inuyasha brings up a notch with its excellent interaction between each of the characters Kagome (who gets sucked into this world through a well in her present day home) she makes trips back and for to see her family (Mom, grandfather and lil brother) and Inuyasha (with her sit boy affect everytime he annoys her which is pretty much all the time) that smashes Inuyasha's face in the ground on a regular basis, Sango and Maroku (sometimes liking each other but mostly Sango's slapping him because he can't keep his hands off of her bottom..for lack of a better term and every other female for that matter) and he's a monk on top of it. It adds something extra to an already great story...along with Shipo, Kilala (Sango's pet that turns into a ferocious cat when in battle). Plus Inuyasha's brother Seshomaru (sp?) who has his own issues with his little brother and the big bad evil of the whole show Naraku (he's one powerful guy no question) and uses any and all means to get what he wants. Also add to the fact Inuyasha's past won't go away in the form his lover Kikiyo and of course she has a younger sister (not so young looking now that 50 years have passed) who is a priestess just like her.
Its just a great collection brought together for fans of old and new to enjoy at their leisure with so much action going and everyone trying to get a piece of that Sacred Jewel shard..its no wonder so many monsters are running loss all over the countryside. Of course with the way Season 3 ended its only going to get more intense for everyone as they continue to search for more jewel shard fragments and a way to wipe out Naraku for good.
Excellent buy and so addictive its crazy.』 『Kagome lives a double life as present-day schoolgirl and feudal-era demon-slayer. Together with half-demon Inuyasha and friends, she continues the quest to collect the shards of the Sacred Jewel. With the threat of archenemy Naraku lurking at every turn, our heroes must face an array of foes, including a jealous dark priestess, an evil mountain sage, giant ogres, and deadly traps. Come join the adventure in the thrilling third season ofInuyasha. This Deluxe Edition DVD Box Set includes a gift: a Shikon Jewel Shard necklace.』 『As Rumiko Takahashi's "Feudal Fairy Tale"Inu-Yashareaches its midpoint, the characters examine where their loyalties lie. When an elegant lord proposes to Sango, Miroku, the itinerant monk with the roving hands, must weigh his affection for her. Because he's the youngest member of the team, the other characters treat fox-spirit Shippo like a child; he begins to show signs of maturity, working to become a contributor to the battle against Naraku. Tsubaki, the Dark Priestess who fought Kikyo for possession of the Shikon Jewel 50 years earlier, uses sorcery to take possession of Kagome--and tries to force her to attack Inu-Yasha. Kagome's love for the half-demon makes the teenage heroine more difficult to control than the youth-obsessed Tsubaki anticipated. But two darker relationships provide the key to these adventures. Wind Sorceress Kagura wants to escape from Naraku's domination; she schemes against her demon-lord and covertly aids his enemies. The bitter rivalry between Inu-Yasha and Sesshomaru comes to the fore as each brother attempts to destroy Naraku single-handedly. In the lighter-hearted episode 72, Inu-Yasha reveals the seldom-seen kindly side of his nature when he helps the Lynx-demon Bunza rescue his tribe in a way that preserves the diminutive boy's fragile pride. Knowing there are episodes ofInu-Yashayet to come is reassuring--like knowing there's more chocolate cake left as you finish your first slice. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (compelling sci-fi anime) 『"Starship Operators" is the story of the starship Amaterasu. On the maiden voyage, the military that the corps serves is dissolved when the ship's home world surrenders to the Henrietta Alliance. The brave crew members find themselves on a state of the art military craft without a sovereign planet to serve. The series shows how a crew of cadets presses on. In this respect, the premise calls to mind "Star Blazers" meets Star Trek's Red Squad. The series is a curious combination of two schools of storytelling. On one hand, this is a serious science-fiction drama. "Starship Operators" employs politics, military strategy, science and the psychology of combat. The series gives a compelling prediction of how the media may come to dominate interstellar life. The show offers a fascinating look at how technology may be advanced yet simultaneously familiar. On the other hand, this show is very teen friendly. Many of the character strands deal with gushy romances and interpersonal female relationships that will greatly appeal to high school girls. The voyeuristic shots of the female cadet's legs will appeal to the guys. While there are great combat scenes, much of the story is character driven. "Starship Operators" is in many respects a coming of age story. Some viewers will embrace one of these schools of storytelling and reject the other. To fully appreciate "Starship Operators," the viewer will have to reconcile the teeny-bopper and sci-fi geek forces. While I personally lean towards the geek end of this spectrum, I am ultimately able to make peace with the dual ingredients. Every now and then, my skin will briefly crawl from one of the girly scenes, but as a whole, I appreciate both influences. The show takes time to appreciate. The episodes on the first disc introduce the setting, central conflict and characters. The brief second disc is filled with epic space battles. The third disc is packed with intrigue, betrayal and last moment plot twists. It wasn't until the final episode that I realized just how invested I had become in the characters and their cause. As I watched the tear-jerking finale, I couldn't believe that the all-too short series was actually at an end. When all is said and done, "Starship Operators" stands as one of the less appreciated yet more compelling anime experiences.』
(GORGEOUS.) 『A GREAT SHOW. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. BUY THIS ONE WITHOUT HESITATION. WELL WORTH THE MONEY&TIME.』
(More than meets the eye... Better look sharp!) 『This story seems pretty straightforward, a young group of starship trainees, returning from a training mission, suddenly discover their home world annexed by a hostile government. They decide to purchase the ship, and enter combat against that government's forces as a form of protest. In order to finance the ship's purchase, they decide to get a sponsor, an interstellar TV network, who then sends a journalist along with them, in order to document their activities. Sounds pretty straightforward, right? WRONG, there are far more sinister political forces at work here, and the repercussions of their seemingly independent action will cause ripples to spread across the galaxy... If you don't like stories with a complex subplot, don't watch this. The space battles are realistic, in the sense that they take place at immense distances, and the effects of using ships without artificial gravity is felt as well. Battles are slow, and carefully planned out, with both intended, and unexpected consequences. This is a thinking man's anime, with characters that are both simple and at the same time very complex. Be sure to pay attention, as sometimes even the smallest details become major plot points later on. At 13 episodes, it's almost too short, but the series works, because it portrays a seemingly small event that sets off a far larger one. Visually, its slightly better than average digimation, with the physics that are accurate and fairly realistic. The vocal cast delivers, as well, with almost all the lines delivered in a well fitted manner. The voices also match the characters, they sound like you think they should sound. The soundtrack is orchestral, as befits this genre. It is a lot to take in, and you almost need to catch your breath after watching it, but if the mood is right, you can watch it again.』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The episodes were enjoyable, but the set lacks substantial bonus features) 『The Rune Soldier DVD box set contains all twenty-four episodes of the series. Each disc contains four episodes and extras. The extras are on the disappointing side. You can see the "clean" opening and "clean" ending on all six discs in the set; these are versions of the opening and ending that do not have text on them. The fourth disc in the set also includes the "Gunning for the Guardian" game. The game takes a story from one of the episodes on the disc, where the characters are trying to catch a sea monster. The interface for the game is rather clunky. You basically choose from one of three different locations on the lake, and it appears to randomly choose what video footage from the English dub version of the episode to use. Personally, I thought this game was rather lame, and not much of an improvement over the clean opening and closing. To me, it felt like that ADV Films just took six discs that had originally been issued separately and packaged them together into one box, and not taking any time or effort to make any changes to the content of the actual discs. As a final "special feature," all six discs also include previews of other properties that ADV Films has released on DVD.
The actual episodes in the series are decent. While there are some flaws with the series, the episodes are enjoyable to watch, especially after you make it past the first couple of episodes.
This set is rated at TV 14, but I would personally recommend this series for anime viewers fifteen or sixteen years of age and older. If you're a fan of Rune Soldier, you will want to acquire this DVD set in order to have all of the episodes. However, be prepared to be disappointed by the lack of special features and extras in the set.』
(I've been mislead) 『This product is not a second series of the original release, it is a new version on the box and dvd art. I will be seeking a refund.』
According to info I've found on Anime News Network, this is not a continuation of the 2005 release from ADV, but a reprinting...so "Volume 2" is misleading.
Still, if you don't have Rune Soldier Louie already, this is a great anime series in a similar tone to Slayers』

This brings about a violent counterattack from Pacifica's homeland, leaving our heros scattered and Pacifica without her memory. This story is just a heckuva lot of fun to watch, and you never quite know what's going to happen next. I enjoy the fact that so much character development occurs here, even amoung what you would think were simple supporting characters. There is just so much to like about this storyline and I recommend it very highly.』
(The Best Anime Ever !! ^_^) 『After following the Casull family through three volumes (12 episodes), the fourth volume is a must see DVD. Scrapped Princess is definitely the best anime I have ever seen!!
In volume IV, the main characters discover the detailed truth about the meaning of the "Scrapped Princess." After learning the truth, Shannon, the main male character, continues to distrust the motives behind their journey. The delimma between protecting an innocent girl or saving the world continues in this volume.
The English voice cast is wonderful. Sometimes they performed better than the Japanese voice cast. The animation and action is a lot better than the third volume. This anime series just keeps getting better and better!!
This volume IV special edition DVD comes with a figurine of Shannon Casull. The artwork, design, and color is superb. The figurine is an exact miniature replication of Shannon Casull. This figurine is beyond excellent!!
Shannon Casull is my favorite character in Scrapped Princess because I identify with him the most throughout their struggles along their journey. I am definitely proud to display this figurine for all to see!! This is a must buy figurine to add to your collection =)

(A show that will change your life) 『When I first saw Robotech I was enthralled from beginning to end. That was a few years ago. When I saw this complete collection of the Macross Saga I knew I had to own it, and I'm glad to say that it was even better the second time around. The themes and ideas of Robotech are still important, maybe even more now than ever, not to mention it has some of the best storyline I've ever seen, and of course, it all comes together in a great sci-fi package that looks as cool as anything we still have today. The animation is old, but the story is true to this day. I'd give it a 10/5 if I could, probably even higher.』
(Classic) 『If you grew up with Robotech like I did, you can't afford to miss this classic epic.』
(Robotech en español) 『Lamentablemente para aquellos que quieren escucharlo en español esta versión solo viene en Ingles. No esta mal recordar viejos tiempos. Sigue siendo Robotech! Es el mejor dibujo animado de la historia!』
(Robotech- The Macross Saga) 『It is a great find for someone who grew up watching it.』 『Producers at Harmony Gold combined the seriesSuper Dimension Fortress: Macross,Genesis Climber Mospeada, andSuper-dimensional Cavalry Southern Crossto create a sprawling space opera with a new plot:Robotech(1985), which helped to build an audience for anime in the U.S. The story begins in 1999, when a gigantic spaceship strikes the Earth. Ten years later, Earth forces relaunch the ship as the alien Zentraedi attack, hoping to recapture it. The seesaw warfare is played against a vague romantic triangle involving brash pilot Rick Hunter, straight-laced officer Lisa Hayes, and aspiring singer Minmei. The Zentraedi have somehow lost the secret of biological reproduction, but the two races are virtually identical biochemically. The similarity is sealed by the marriage of Earth pilot Max and Zentraedi spy Miriya. Minmei's performances become a key element in the ongoing war, as the Zentraedi consider her bubblegum pop songs a form of "psychological assault." (They have a point.) Although humanity emerges victorious, much of the Earth is devastated. Lisa and Rick discover their true feelings as the new threat of the Robotech Masters appears--which leads into the second continuity. Gen-X-ers who grew up onRobotechwill delight in retracing the coy romances and crude space battles; viewers accustomed to the faster pacing, snazzier effects, and more dramatic conflicts of more recent anime will grow impatient with the endless shilly-shallying. It's a classic of sorts. (Suitable for all ages; appropriate for ages 8 and up: mild violence restricted to spaceship and robot battles)--Charles Solomon』

ANIMEIGO
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Strongly recommended for non-Anime fans too) 『I was introduced to Japanese anime by a friend of mine about a year ago, so I'm a newcomer to this genre. I'd heard of this series via some affectionate references in other anime that I'd watched, so I thought I'd give You're Under Arrest a go.
Firstly, for newcomers the 1st 4 episodes on this DVD Boxset are the best place to start. It's a great introduction to the characters, and covers most (if not all) of the themes that the larger series does. This includes "slice of life" episodes that deal with the characters personal lives. And also crime-related stories that can get quite serious, but don't feature blood or violence in any way or form.
The real strength of this series are the characters. The two female leads (Miyuki and Natsumi) are totally likeable and charming. I much prefer the Japanese voice actors (Akiko Hiramatsu and Sakiko Tamagawa respectively) over their US counterparts. I particularly enjoy Tamagawa's rendition of Natsumi - her voice acting while drunk was hilarious. Both the leads get romantic interests (Nakajima and Toukairin) respectively. Unfortunately, only one of these romances gets a payoff at the very end of the series.
Supporting characters Aoi and Yuriko are also interesting, and get at least one standalone episode respectively between them to explore their characters. Aoi's character is particularly interesting, as she's actually a man cross-dressing as a woman. Yuriko is an incurable gossip - which is normally the kind of character I can't stand, but she's surprisingly well-handled here.
My biggest dislike is the "villain" Strike Man, who appears in the main series. I really really can't stand this character and his constant over-dramatic posturing. "Is your heart of justice strong enough?!!?". Whatever. Fortunately, he only gets a handful of episodes during the first series.
Be warned that there's a noticeable drop in animation quality between the OVA (episodes 1-4) and the rest of the series. It doesn't descend to the same turgid level as some of the early eighties Saturday morning cartoon shows, but it does come close. Fortunately, the strength of the characters and the writing shine through enough to make it worthwhile watching.
In short, I love this series. It has some great writing, some very funny but also dramatic moments, and some of the most likeable and charming characters I've yet come across in anime. 』
(What a good series and this is just set 1) 『Character development is key in this series. The rather brash Natsume joins Bakooko Precinct and is teamed up with the sweet and punctual Miyuki. They're both charming, likable and pretty cute to boot! ^^ While they may have somewhat opposite personalities, they're both incredibly fun to watch, and it's interesting to see the friendship between the two develop. They're supported by several other characters including the resident gossip, Yoriko, the tough yet shy motocycle cop, Nakajima, and their stoic, yet kind police chief.』
(reviewer steven ressel was right about EP 1-4) 『After reading Steven ressel's remarks about ep 1-4 where the camera floats around&was innovative was on the mark.
It's interesting to compare the camera work on those episodes to be very matrix-y ie the wachowskis may have been inspired to mimic the movement as these episodes occurred in 94-96 while matrix came out in 99.
And the level of detail in drawing&coloring is very close to flimic as anime can come close to for TV.
However, the stories are quite anemic regarding 1-4』
(Split rating on great package...) 『AnimEigo always makes nice packages. Bits of design are a bit stodgy or pedantic, but over all they really give nice finish to most all releases in grade A effort to give fans something to cherish. Naturally, thats on top of what is contained on the DVDs. The recent rise of 'cool' packaging on anime such as this, RahXephon, FLCL, Ninja Scroll 10th anniversary, OMG movie, are all great thrusts to boost anime releases above bargain-basement video. And I salute the effort, honestly, dotingly, and....whatever...
Anyway, YUA box set one is a split rating. The first DVD has the four previously rleased OVA episodes made in the early 90's by a brilliant crew of writers, directors, animators, designers breaking the stale rules of story and art in animation. Perhaps, most enlightening to me is the use of layers and camera to give speed and intrigue to any chase. They took the camera and broke it from it's usual, formal X-Y axis of movement and were just FLOATING it around. On top of that, a careful, and BRILLIANT use of color, light and lighting effects gave a super-real feel to this cartoon while suspending disbelief and thrusting my into a super stylized, romanticized version of their reality where pregnant cats and jerky speed demons take precedence in life, and awkward relationships define the qualities of the characters and stories. When you think that this was shot under camera, with all the double and tripple passes, and mattes used to bring out backlights and transparencies, it is truely a marvel on the level of Disney's old 'Ghost Chasers' (?) short with Donald, Goofy and Mickey. Technically and entertainment wise, these OVAs are the best bargain. TRUE 5 STARS, and the reason I really purchased the box set.
The remainer of episodes are from the TV series (disks 2 AND 3), and I assume only half a season or less. Quality drops substantial (to be expected), but more disappointing is the lack of cohesive writing. The stories are fun, and do make sense, but the world changes for the worse as a 'siperhero' called STRIKEMAN becomes a primary tool in crafting the season, and a crossdressing dude shows up to help the plice station...however, he can't stop being a woman, so he becopmes the SEXY girl on staff, but hides a special something. Miyuki and Kenny's relationship kind of warbles along at an awkward distance, never really going anywhere. The art is pretty ancient; looks like old Macross from 1981, or maybe cheap A-ko sequels from 1986. The technical and writing aspects of the OVAs are lost. However, the stories are still enjoyable in themselves.
The fourth disk contains extras, however I haven't thoroughly scanned over them. I saw some artwork that looked pretty horrid, and wondered why it was included. Aside from that, I can't say what is on the disk.
If you are a fan of the manga or works of Kosuke Fujishima, buy it. If you want the OVAs alone, you might want to buy only the first disk if it is available.』
(Charming police comedy) 『This box set of You're Under Arrest is the first of four, and contains episodes 1 through 12 (out of roughly 50), along with a bonus disc of extras (mostly art galleries and voice actor clips, nothing special there).
Focusing on two female police officers who will do just about any crazy thing to capture criminals, You're Under Arrest features a wide assortment of regular and semi-regular characters, nearly all of whom are fundamentally weirdos. Miyuki and Natsumi, the two leads, are the most competent and the most dangerous police officers at Bokuto Station, and they charge about Tokyo in a souped-up patrol car (courtesy of Miyuki's mechanical skill). They chase down everything from underwear thieves to the recurring vigilante Strike-Man to villains dressed up as Santa Claus. You're Under Arrest works because the large cast (police and non-police alike) is fleshed out nicely. There will be characters you like and dislike (my favorite is the long-suffering Ken Nakajima, Miyuki's sort-of boyfriend), but you get to know them all.
You're Under Arrest needs some caveats, however. First, this set is just the first of four box sets, so it shouldn't be just an impulse buy. Second, some of the characters are rather perverted (this increases as the series goes on), and one of the more important supporting characters is a transvestite, so the show as a whole is not really appropriate for younger viewers (although, individually, many of the episodes might be). Finally, the first four episodes were actually a direct-to-video series done some time before the remaining TV episodes were done. The first four are much higher quality animation, so you may be disappointed by the dropoff in technical quality starting in episode 5. This isn't really a criticism, however; that's just a reality of TV animation budgets.』
『The anime sensation YOU'RE UNDER ARREST is now a TV show! The craziness begins as Tokyo Highway Patrolwomen Natsumi and Miyuki get off to a bad start when Miyuki busts Natsumi for reckless moped driving on her way to work. Things go from bad to worse when they find out they're going to be partners! This first box set contains episodes 1-12 and a bonus disc of extras unavailable anywhere else.』

It's easily 3 times as large as poor Mello. Given the relationship between Near and Mello in the series, I can only assume that the manufacturers were feeling particularly sadistic that day.
Perhaps, in the spirit of things, we should have Light's giant face featured on the packaging for L's figurine.』
(All for Mello) 『Death Note is the most amazing manga/anime series...all manga/anime fans should own this. I adore the Mello figurine too.』
(Death Note is an anime worth giving a watch) 『Death Note is truly a well written and mind thinking anime for people of many ages. Just when one may think you know where the story maybe going there is a twist in the story line. I would also highly suggest the Death Note books.』
(The Whammy Boys!) 『There is thus far nothing wrong in my world regarding Death Note, including the more recent attempts at beating a dead horse with a stick with the live-action "L-change the WorLd" and the BB murders novel. The only disappointing thing for me was the decision to not include L's successors in the live-action Death Note movies (though there is a vague nod to Near at the end of "L-change the WorLd"). Considering that the original manga is really an extremely convoluted mind-game of chess, where there are more thought bubbles than speech bubbles, it's amazing that they were able to pull off fantastically the first two live action movies albeit in a truncated form.
More amazing is that the anime version manages to keep the manga's mind games nearly whole. Unlike most people, I find the characters of L's successors, Mello, and especially Near, not to mention the background of all three young men being orphans raised in a home full of brilliant children for the express purpose of picking certain of them for duties such as L, aka the Whammy House, to be much more interesting. Particularly in the fact of their different approaches from L, their similarities and drive to beat each other to avenging L and to end the reign of Kira - all while Mello does so with a dark, passionate drive and seeming hatred of Near and his passive, painstaking method. In a way seeing how Mello and Near interact gives you more of a perspective of L's background than watching L himself for a majority of the series.
Basically, if you've made it this far through my review I'm surprised you haven't already hit the 'One-Click' buy button. This is the point of the anime where you go from the long, steady, plodding pace of Death Note to the beginning of the brawling, psychotic stampede to the end of the series.』 『Japanese Imported Limited Edition Collector's Figurine of MELLO Included!
