(total awesomeness!)
『wow, as a 15 yr old teen when i first bought this dvd uncut box set at the mall, it blow my mind away!! , uncut naruto is always best so this dvd deserves a 5/5 for amazing episodes and uncut bloody action, also i wish uncut naruto was on adult swim cuz this is the best! also what was funny when tsunade cusses and when konohamuru face was in tsunades bussoms>:D i cracked up laughing:D edited sucks cuz they take everything away:( i think naruto should be 4 teens only...』

(It was what we wanted!)
『Nothing wrong with it when it was shipped and it was just the season we wanted. We couldn't find it in stores...thank all goodness for Amazon!』

(Naruto Uncut Box Set Volume 8)
『Good series. Thoroughly entertaining. Good animation. Good storytelling. Recommended for any one who likes Naruto and Ninjas.』

(Worth it, lots of fillers though)
『Naruto uncut box set 8 is well worth the money, it has a lot of fillers and the battles seem to drag on for a while, but all in all it's worth it and there's some good action in it!』

(Conclusion of the Tsunade/Sannin arc)
『The Naruto Uncut Box Sets are THE best anime box sets ever done! I used to hate on Viz for the way they strung out InuYasha, but this makes up for that in spades. Vol. 8 has the same excellent design and 3 discs with the included sketch book pertaining to an episode in the box set. To make things clear I'm talking about the regular box set, not the one with the figures.
The first disc deals with the conclusion of the Sannin arc, where we get pure shonen fighting action almost along the lines of the Third Hokage versus Orochimaru. Despite the much weaker, though still somewhat entertaining other episodes in this set, the first disc should be enough of a reason to buy this disc. Naruto is much less prominently featured in this set, but the trade off is that you get to see three legendary characters have at each other for the first and only time. If you've watched Naruto up to this point and are buying these box sets instead of the single volumes that they are putting out, then you are pretty informed and probably just need a nudge in the right direction. So I say buy this despite the filler episodes, because the conclusion of this arc is necessary thing. For newer lovers of Naruto, I highly suggest starting off with the first two volumes of the Uncut boxes and working your way up to this point, where the story is still very good and entertaining.』

『Naruto and Jiraiya's journey climaxes in all-out war with Orochimaru and his skilled right-hand man, Kabuto. Naruto must perfect the Rasengan in time to save the future Hokage, but when Naruto himself needs saving, Tsunade must overcome her fear and join Jiraiya in beating down Orochimaru. The legendary Sannin engage in the ultimate Summoning battle, with their lives and the Leaf Village's future on the line. Will Naruto succeed in bringing back the Fifth Hokage and her supreme medical skill to heal the Village Hidden in the Leaves?

Special Features Include:
3 DVD box set with 14 episodes. Featuring original and uncut episodes.
Includes original audio tracks and original series soundtrack.
English dubbed / Japanese (with optional English subtitles).
Collectible Naruto storyboards booklet.
Volume 9 Sneak Preview.』

『The 8th set of the hit ninja-fantasyNarutospans the end of Season Four (2004) and the start of Season Five (2004-2005). The first episodes conclude the battle between Jiraiya, Lady Tsunada (who will become the Fifth Hokage), and Naruto on one side, and Orochimaru and his henchman Kabuto on the other. The combatants invoke numerousjutsuand summon three animals often linked to supernatural warriors in Japanese folklore: a toad, a snail or slug, and a serpent. This duel between good and evil includes some of the most dynamic fight sequences in theNarutocontinuity. A subsequent visit to a hot spring turns into a farce as Jiraiya lives up to his nickname of "Pervy Sage," and Naruto mistakenly tries help a pair of would-be bill collectors. The battle against Orochimaru has left the Hidden Leaf Village short of trained ninja: Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are sent to protect a runner in a high-stakes race in the Land of Tea without Kakashi-sensei to supervise them. Naruto proves his growing strength and maturity, not through his use of battle techniques or magicaljutsu, but by demonstrating his dedication to his friends and to completing his mission. Everyone's favorite ninja-in-training remains a knucklehead, but he's a knucklehead with some admirable qualities. It all adds up to one of the most satisfying installments in this popular series. (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: Collected Memories Box Set)
『Buyer beware look at the picture on this DVD&zoom in that you will see that the Editorial review is DEAD wrong however amazon is so far clearing not changing it making all of us think it has them. However I'm not easily fooled just look at the picture of the set it says if you zoom in it says MOVIES not ova's/oda's who ever did the Editorial review is not thinking right. also all you are right about not having the complete series. I have commented on the Funimation face book page of telling a lot of people like me have been waiting for the Tokyo Revelations and Tsubasa Shunraiki to come out so far they have not answered any of them of people like me have been asking them. beware I rated 5 for the series not the dvd I rate the DVD it self a 1 for on the Editorial review at the start of it.』

(Great boxset...BUT...)
『Like Jason Hunt stated in an earlier review, this boxset does NOT contain the OVAs described in the description. It's just the 52 episodes and the movie. As long as that's clear and you're aware of what you're purchasing, I'd still recommend it (head to eBay or something to purchase the OVAs).』

(Misleading Description)
『This set collects all 52 episodes of the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle series, as well as its theatrical movie, The Princess in the Birdcage Kingdom. It does NOT, however, contain the two OVAs, Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations and Tsubasa Shunraiki. This is a great series, and the set itself is beautiful, but the product description says, and I quote, "Get the entire Tsubasa Universe released so far...the Box Set contains episodes 1-52 and 2 OVA's." Well, this is a blatant LIE. The OVAs are NOT on this set. I repeat, buyer beware, the description of this set is WRONG!』
『Get the entire Tsubasa Universe released so far...the Box Set contains episodes 1-52 and 2 OVA's.

A true and noble heart holds much power, stronger than the hardest fist and mightier than the most potent magic. Four disparate travelers begin an epic journey… their goals different, their destiny the same. Along the way, the past will meet the future in the present. At the center of this heroic undertaking, Syaoran: A young man called upon to save his fated, the princess Sakura. Her memory has been shattered, the very essence of her soul sent adrift across the universe.

Feather’s float down on strange lands, torn asunder if only to prove the power of love. With fellow travelers Kurogane and Fai, a warrior and a wizard, an epic quest begins. One of danger and mystery… The possibilities are endless』

(Inuyasha - Season 1)
『The box was received on time in good condition. What more could I ask for?』

(Beautifully cased, poor "special" fetchers)
『The shows are well translated, and have good definition. The box set along with the DVD'S are beautifully put together. But as far the "special" fetchers I'd even say there are none. Disappointing may-be but I dare you to find a boxed set of InuYasha shows that dose have them sadly there not out there.』

(My child loves it.)
『The series is pretty good and I enjoy as well as my daughter who I bought it for.』

(Started my love for anime)
『When I was a teenager in high school I wasn't a big anime fan. I used to joke that all the drawings looked the same and were drawn by the same guy. I used to joke, saying Japan would be in trouble when that guy died, cause they'd have no one to draw their cartoons. I now proudly admit I was wrong and too hasty in my judgment.

One night I was flipping channels and I caught an episode of Inuyasha. I watched it because there was nothing better on. The next day I watched the next episode, then the next, then the next and before I knew it I was hooked. Soon I started watching more and more anime. Now I love anime and will gladly take Japanese animation over live action Hollywood any day. What I like about Inuyasha (and anime in general) is that the Japanese have learned that animation is for anyone, unlike here where mainstream society still looks at animation as something meant for kids. It seems only sitcoms have been accepted as adult animation (The Simpsons, Family Guy, ect.) but animation, like live action can encompass any genre, which Inuyasha does beautifully. It's a wonderful mix of fantasy, drama, comedy, action and romance without being re-edited to suit the 6 to 12 year old audience that most of these shows go through when their "Americanized". In this show, when characters get hurt they're hurt and sometimes bleed. When a character dies, they die instead of being banished to the realm of total losers or something dumb like that because (it's a cartoon for kids so we dare not mention death). More importantly, Inuyasha has well developed characters, not villains that want to take over the world because they're the bad guys, thats what they do; or characters who are in love being toned down to platonic friendships because (it's a cartoon for kids so we dare not show love).

Inuyasha opened my eyes to the world of anime and manga. After I started watching the show, I bought the mangas. Now I'm hooked and I'd gladly recommend this title to anyone who loves good drama, rich characters and a compelling story. I'm glad I bought these in the states (I live in Canada and ordered them from here because I bought both seasons 1&2 for $112 [after taxes, shipping and duty] which is still cheaper than it would have been to buy it up here [most retailers, even Amazon.ca, wanted about $70 to $120 for just one season] and that was before tax).』

(Inuyasha is a classic Anime!)
『I for one don't like a lot of anime; but only have a select few favorites... one being Inuyasha. That is because I like Inuyasha for it's unique story and great cast of characters; not to mention the style and genre the anime fits into my personallity!

I mean they don't call this show a fuedal fairy tale for nothing you know! That's why I love it so much; it has lots of sword swinging action in fuedal Japan, romance between the 3 key characters Inuyasha, Kikyo,&Kagome, and a bunch of LOL comedy with the other characters!

Season 1 of Inuyasha is one of my favorite seasons because it's the season that started it all! My especially favorite episodes are of when we first meet Seesshomaru looking for Inuyasha's sword, Shippo and the Thunder Bros always makes me LOL big time, Kikyo being resurected, Miroku joins the group, and many others when we first meet Naraku&Sango!

Plus I think it's just great to have the entire Inuyasha Seasons on DVD; since you don't have to worry about having them recorded on your old VHS tapes! That is because I'm a collector;&I love having DVD's of all of my favorite shows&movies!』

『Kagome Higurashi, an average ninth grader, gets pulled into an ancient well by a demon, bringing her 500 years in the past to the feudal era. There, she meets Inuyasha, a half-demon who seeks the Shikon Jewel to make himself a full-fledged demon. With Inuyasha and new friends, Kagome's search for the Jewel of Four Souls begins...』
『Based on the manga by Rumiko Takahashi, the creator ofRanma 1/2andUrusei Yatsura, theInu-YashaTV series (2000) blends elements of Japanese folklore and familiar anime devices into a deftly imaginative blend of humor and adventure, an extremely entertaining series that never falls into cliché. Beginning the first season's 27 episodes, Kagome Higurashi, a normal 15-year-old girl, falls down a dry well--and finds herself in the feudal past, 50 years after her ancestress Kikyo imprisoned the half-human/half-demon Inu-Yasha. As the reincarnation of Kikyo, Kagome possesses a magic jewel that greatly increases the power of demons. Kagome fetters Inu-Yasha with the help of her priestess-ancestor Kaede, and when the jewel is shattered Kagome and Inu-Yasha must ally to recapture the fragments.

The series really begins to hit its stride when Kagome and Inu-Yasha, while bickering, nevertheless prove an effective team against the demons they encounter in the Warring States netherworld. Two new characters create complications. Shippo, an orphan fox spirit, meets Kagome and Inu-Yasha in the Warring States period. A more conventional but potentially more dangerous addition is Hojo, a handsome upper classman at Kagome's school, who's concerned about her recent absences. His understated good manners contrast sharply with the prickly Inu-Yasha--just as Kagome is beginning to recognize his good points.

In the multi-part adventure that begins with "Kikyo's Stolen Ashes," the filmmakers presenting conflicting versions of the relationship between Kikyo and Inu-Yasha, and the intriguing plot twists typify Takahashi's sophisticated story-telling. The tone darkens as the back story emerges: 50 years earlier, Kikyo tended Onigumo, a badly burned thief. As his desire for the Sacred Jewel--and Kikyo--grew, Onigumo summoned a horde of demons, whom he allowed to consume his flesh and soul. The evil creatures fused to form the terrible Naraku. Recognizing his feelings for Kagome, Inu-Yasha tries to protect her from Naraku by sending her back to her own time and blocking the passage between the ages. Inu-Yasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Miroku face a bizarre array of monsters and villains, including a forest demon who vomits hordes of monstrous, three-eyed wolves.

As the tapestry grows richer, Kagome and Myoga begin to explore the origins and nature of the Sacred Jewel that radiates power yet brings misfortune to everyone who approaches it. The source of the jewel turns out to be the demon-slayers' village. Inu-Yasha, Kagome, and their friends learn how the Jewel was created long ago in a battle between hordes of monstrous demons and Midoriko, the greatest priestess of the age. But the Jewel is also a miniature battleground between good and evil: a metaphor for the world--and for Inu-Yasha's heart, as he vacillates between selfishness and kindness. (The start to the best season of Naruto is great)
『In the Naruto Uncut box set 9, everything revolves around the retrieval of Sasuke. It is one of the most action packed seasons full of intense battles and is something i would recommend to anyone who watches anime.』

(TOTALLY AWESOME!!!)
『This was the most awesomeness uncut dvd of anruto ever because there was so much cussing and bloody scenes and i personally think that the uncut version is the best on the earth and its very different then on tv. I really wish this was on adult swim first than stupid cartoon network, but the episodes were all awesome and so was the battles with the sound four!! 5/5 and worth buying』

(They def. stepped it up with set!)
『I love all the Naruto seasons and the movies as well, but I must say that they def. stepped up the dramatics in this set! Tons of action that has you on the edge of your seat, along with funny scenes, but all and all it comes down to their "ninja way" really shining through. I can't wait for more!』

(Naruto Uncut Box Set 9 Review by Narutousa.com)
『This box set is one to have if you already own the rest of the 1-8 box set. In this box set, Sasuke betrays the leaf village. Sasuke is taken and the fight with the Elite sound five begins. This is one of the best battle scenes in Naruto.

(I'm a Naruto Otaku!)
『I love Naruto, and although we are now going into the suckiest arc of life, because of the ending of the arc, the animation and the fighting only get better from here. This arc has some of the best fights in all of the original Naruto seris. I just can't wait for the rest of this seris to come out and for Shippuden to begin. Viva la Naruto!』
3 DVD box set with 14 episodes (Ep 107 120). Featuring original and uncut episodes!
Naruto returns to the Hidden Leaf Village to find Sasuke, frustrated with Naruto's sudden growth, thirsting to fight to decide who's the better ninja once and for all. Kakashi stops the fight before the worst can happen, but soon Orochimaru's henchmen arrive in the village to lure Sasuke to Orochimaru with the promise of greater power, a promise Sasuke can't refuse. In order to retrieve Sasuke, newly appointed chunin Shikamaru forms a squad of genin, including Naruto, to pursue the terrifying Sound Ninja Four. Will they catch up before Orochimaru gets his hands on Sasuke? Let the chase begin!

English dubbed / Japanese (with optional English subtitles)

『As Season Five (2004-2005) of the runaway hitNarutogets underway, the magicaljutsugrow more powerful, the chakra flies, and minor characters come to the fore. Wounded pride and a thirst for revenge lead Sasuke to accept an offer four ninja from the Sound Village bring from Orochimaru. To strengthen the power of curse mark on his neck, Sasuke swallows a potentially deadly drug and enters a trance. The Sound Ninja seal him in a drum-like coffin and take him away. Naruto is joined on the rescue mission not by Sakura--whom Sasuke cruelly rejects when she tries to persuade him to stay in the Hidden Leaf Village--but by Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba, and Neji. The quintet pursues the Sound Ninja, who employ exotic, deadly techniques, including an army of supernatural spiders. During a confrontation, Naruto and Shikamaru learn how Sasuke fits into Orochimaru's schemes: having mastered thejutsuof immortality, the evil ninja needs to find a new body before his old one decays completely. Sasuke, with his exceptional talents, is the ideal vessel for Orochimaru's soul. Season Five has a more somber tone than the previous episodes: Naruto has little time for jokes, ramen, or boasting. But fans of the series won't want to be without this set. TheSpecial Editionincludes a Special Limited Edition Collectible Figure of the Summoning Creature Manda. (Great Anime)
『Great anime i love it. The series consists of 50 episodes so you hav to purchase the collection 2 to finish it off but its so worth it.』

(A Decent Series But Not For Many Hard-Core Battle Mecha Fans)
『If you've seen the series Neon Genesis Evangelion than like a few reviewers have said previously the this series follows that style of story concept heavily throughout the series except for the major difference that these characters are much more entertaining and enjoyable to watch. The series main couple fourteen year old Renton and at least fifteen year old Eureka(Since her true age isn't really revealed) are also enjoyable to watch especially near the beginning as Renton infatuated with Eureka tries to go out of his way to woo her and win over the three young orphan children who see her as their mother and Renton as a threat. The series doesn't rely to much on the mecha battles as much as the gundam series does and takes a more solid step of the overall story of the series and its morals, which while still somewhat confusing in some areas is much more easier to understand than the series NGE was. The audio voice cast for the English and Japanese crew were incredible for this series but the animation is a more love it or hate it scenario depending on your own personal likes of how characters should be drawn, I myself grew to use to how other animators drew characters for series like Full Metal Panic, Gundam Seed/Destiny, and Full Metal Alchemist. The extras are so so with the standard commentaries and trailers but for the price of these complete sets something to look passed, so if you're a fan of the NGE series are just looking for a good anime series with a pretty good storyline thrown into it here's a great pick to look at for your home anime collection...』

(Why This Is One of My Top Favorite Anime Shows!!)
『This is an awesome collection! I've waited for a few years for them to start releasing this series in complete collections instead of single volumes. This is a great buy and you will not be disappointed!』

(What a build-up... then what a let-down!)
『This DVD boxset contains only the first half of Eureka seveN, but I'll be commenting on the series from start to finish.

For me the series tanked with episode 36 and "Eureka's Bad Make-Up Day" (my title). There were warning signs ahead of this, such as lame dialogue, incoherent plotting, and underwhelming animation. After the scenes with Charles and Ray, I started to get that uh-oh feeling. You know, when disappointments are piling up and ruining what ought to have been one of the best anime in a long, long time. When Coralian antibodies attacked Feres City, I felt a twinge of embarrassment, kind of a "What the hell?" in the pit of my stomach. But I stuck with it, because I had enjoyed the show so much until then.

Granted, there are some memorable moments in later episodes, as when Skurve-scarred Eureka is trying to carry supplies to help refugees from the Coralian antibodies' latest massacre, she collapses, is offered a drink by a traumatized child... who relives the horror when he looks into Eureka's inhuman eyes. But the dramatic moment is mishandled and short-lived. Some heartstrings were plucked, I admit, when Dominic and Anemone finally got it together late in the series. And Renton's self-inflicted wound was a curious development that piqued my interest momentarily.

Why did the creators of this series stop taking their storytelling seriously in the second season? They should have realized that the strength of the show for many viewers was believable characters in far-out situations that made sense nonetheless. NOT having the young couple's names somehow get emblazoned on the moon, NOT one preposterous battle scene after another where nobody who's anybody gets killed or even injured, NOT Norbu's silly backstory, NOT Sakuya giving a "My Book" to Eureka to write her story in, NOT glowing hearts coming out of a Compac Drive and other nuttiness. If you liked those bits, pardon me, but I did NOT.

Two aspects I really enjoyed, more in the earlier episodes: the voice-acting (uniformly superb) and the scoring (y'know, the soundtrack). I'm listening to the BGM right now, and it's got a lot going for it.

THIS JUST IN: While reviewing episode 1, I nearly fell off my chair when I noticed some lip-synching. This is SUPER-RARE in anime... almost never happens! Watch closely when Renton sputters "Eee-to, eee-to" and moments later when he gasps, "Tomurai?!" The animators admirably matched the lips to the voice track. ASTONISHING!

(Strong Start with a lackluster finish)
『I know what some, if not most of you, are thinking... 3 STARS? I have seen the entire series, all the way to its conclusion. I decided to write this review to give a little warning about what could have been one of the best anime mecha shows in the last few years.

Now my review of the rest of the series is why I am writing this today. The first "season" of Eureka Seven ( 1-26 ) is an incredible roller coaster ride that will both dazzle you and take you to places you wouldn't have considered before. The second half of the series however is an INCREDIBLE disappointment. What was strong in the first season is weak in the second. Strangely, also some episode budgets must have been cut in the second season as I could see marked difference in quality between episodes. By far some of the worst episodes are in the second half of the show and I cannot begin to tell you how bad they are without possibly spoiling part of the story for you which I am loathe to do. The story potential that was in the first half of Eureka Seven with its mysteries and life lessons are concluded badly and at times forgotten about in the second half, basically meaning the show felt like they were creating the ending as they were releasing episodes. This generally works well in episodic shows but with such buildup, character development, and mystery that was in the first half this does not work here. To be honest if it was not for the first half I doubt I would have been able to finish watching the second, it was that painful to watch at times.

I wrote this review to warn you what will be coming ahead and to say that Eureka Seven is an excellent anime with an unfortunate finish. I am not saying do not watch this show but to just be a little wary of the second half, it could have been so much better.

(Naruto is awesome!)
『If you love naruto, buy this box set because you can't go wrong. It's as simple as that.』

(naruto uncut boxed set volume 2)
『I received this product in record time. Amazon always does a good job, whenever I shop online, I always go to Amazon first.』

(Very good)
『I had really loved the service that they provided. I got my boxed set and it was really quick. I would buy from them again.』

(GREAT SEASON....)
『This is a great season where Naruto starts to evolve, still a nuckle head but maturing little by little. Fight scenes are awesome.』

(The second DVD box set of uncut Naruto episodes)
『This is a three-disc DVD set that contains episodes fourteen through twenty-five of Naruto. The first two discs contain four episodes, while the third disc contains four episodes and the special features. The first disc is a little tedious to watch, because the fight that is taking place in these episodes is stretched out by a ridiculous amount. The second and third discs are a more enjoyable viewing experience.

The extras are rather similar to what appeared on the first DVD box set. There is "Production Art" (nine pages of model sketches of some of the Naruto characters), "From Sketch to Screen" (eight pages of storyboards for episode twenty-two; you can also choose to see the clip that the storyboard is for), the English credits, a sneak preview for the third Naruto uncut box set, and trailers and promos for Shonen Jump products.

Like the first box, I was rather disappointed in the special features. While I knew to expect it after seeing similar extras on the first box, I was still a little disappointed.

If you're a Naruto fan and want to collect the episodes on DVD, then this would be a good addition to your DVD library.』

『As Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura struggle in battle in the Land of Waves, they must come to terms with the often-painful reality of being a ninja. A little bit older, wiser and stronger, the three return to the Hidden Leaf Village only to face their next challenge: the Chunin Exam! A horde of young ninjas has gathered from all over to participate, all with their own special brand of ninjutsu. Is Naruto ready to take the next step in his journey to become the greatest shinobi ever?』
『Naruto, everybody's favorite hyperactive knucklehead, and his fellow ninja-in-training Sakura and Sosuke complete their first major mission in this popular martial arts comedy-adventure. While Sakura defends the bridge builder and Kakashi grapples with renegade assassin Zabuza, Naruto and Sosuke have to put aside their personal animosity to tackle Haku, Zabuza's super-fast, needle-throwing cohort. Haku employs a secretjutsuto conjure a mirrored structure of ice that enables him to shift among multiple reflections, like Rita Hayworth inThe Lady from Shanghai. The filmmakers suggest that Naruto may have the resources to achieve his dream of becomingHokage(head ninja) when a seal leaks some of the power of the nine-tailed fox demon trapped within his body. Once the fight on the bridge ends, Naruto, Sosuke and Sakura must prepare for the Chunin exams, which will allow them to advance to the next stage of training. Junior ninja from the Hidden Nations of Sound, Rain, Water Fall, Sand, and Wind assemble in Leaf Village. All the other candidates have much more experience than the home-town rookies, but Sosuke's icy excellence immediately attracts challengers. Annoyed at the attention Sosuke's receiving, Naruto reverts to his trademark mixture of braggadocio and clumsiness. The exams are designed to eliminate all but the most promising ninja, and the candidates must figure out just what they're being tested on. Only the best will survive: Believe it! (Great series, DVDs however not worth paying full price for.)
『As I commented to someone who said they didn't understand the series after watching the first couple episodes, the first half of Naruto is really just to setup the environment for the real story. It places you in a world of Ninjas, some people even make careers out of it. Young kids and teens in this universe strive to become the best ninjas they can. They also live through normal teen events, like crushes and making and losing friends.

But then the REAL story starts to unfold, and the plot thickens. We learn about dirty politics, secrets pasts, and a darker history. There are lost of subplots as well, filling up an already large story universe. All the while, our young protagonists have to live and fight through it all.

It's been awhile since these earlier volumes have been released. I highly recommend buying these used for a cheaper price. The DVDs simply are not worth paying full price for. Mainly due to the fact you can easily watch these episodes online for free (or in some cases, even download for free.) There are numerous Naruto fan sites online that have the episodes, both subbed and dubbed archived.』

(uncut action 100%)
『this was a ggod start but i wish that viz media chould have two scripts for the voice actors, one for the edited kiddish version, and one for the teen and adult version, i just hate it wheb the characters dont cuss and say what they really mean to say, cuss words would make this series as funny as bleach! but 3/5 sorry......』

『The product got on time and on grate condotion. i'm very happy with the result.』

(Perhaps the workst anime series ever.)
『This has to be one of the worst anime series I've seen, and I've seen 240 anime series. Now that's saying a lot.

Ok now on to some of the things that made it so bad. First is the so called story that's supposed to take place I guess two hundred years ago. Yet they have tv and radio, so when the heck is this anime supposed to take place. Now as for the story which makes no lick of sense to me revolves around Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke on a journey to become the best ninjas. Which wouldn't have been so bad had the creators focused on one type of anime instead of over blowing three of them from comedy, drama, action. Just focus one one and have the other two has secondary. Next lets move on to perhaps the worst part of the the show, the characters. I'll focus on Naruto. He is perhaps the most annoying main character I've seen in a anime series. Every episode I watched, I wanted him to die more and more, I couldn't look past him in the show. The other two main characters weren't nearly as bad as him, I might have given a little better score if they got rid of Naruto and focused on Sakura and Sasuke. Ok moving on to the so called action. First it's ridiculous, not very exciting, and drawn out through 2 to 3 episodes. Finally there's the length of the so called series. There's 240 episodes, plus another series, a few movies and some OVAs. I truly believe the creators and the company that own Naruto are just milking pre-teen and young teenagers of their and their parents money. Now don't get me wrong I know studios are trying to make money, but theirs a difference between making money and ripping people off.

So please don't support this show anymore.』

(Naruto is great)
『but the box set is utterly lacking. Naruto as a series is a great anime, one of Japan's greatest, but the box sets divides the series up into twelve episodes each, which is a huge rip-off. Anime should always be divided by seasons, like the Bleach box set. Oh well, I guess this s my first and last purchase of a Naruto box set. [...]. Here's a hint; Naruto has 209 dubbed episodes. Divide that by twelve and you get 16, though they'll probably release a 17th for the last episodes and some special features. [...]. If you're a collector then go for it, but otherwise don't waste your time, or your money.』
『Deep within the Hidden Leaf Village, sharp and cunning Ninja carry an ultimate power while Naruto Uzumaki carries inside the ultimate secret.Twelve years ago, the fourth Hokage sacrificed himself and saved the village by sealing the Nine-tailed Fox Spirit an orphaned baby boy. Now, this plucky prankster must do what it takes achieve this life-long goal and become the next Hokage!Comes with a collectible Naruto storyboards booklet.325 minutesAudio: English, JapaneseSubtitles: English』
『Although someotaku(hardcore fans) have complained about the editing of the English dub of the popular ninja fantasy-adventureNaruto, theUncut Box Setreveals the edits were quite minor. There's a little more blood in some of the fight scenes, and the opening and closing titles are the Japanese originals. In episode 3, Naruto's stomach problems are presented more vividly, and Kakashi delivers a more explicit jab to Naruto's butt in episode 4. More revealing differences turn up in the subtitles: In the English dub, Naruto declares he wants to become a great ninja so the whole village "will start treating me like somebody important"; in the original, it's "will acknowledge my existence." The three-discUncut Box, which includes the bound storyboards for Episode 8 (in Japanese), is a good buy. The first 13 episodes include Naruto's graduation from the Ninja Academy and his assignment to a team with Sakura (on whom he nurtures a crush) and Sasuke, his arch-rival. The reluctant trio begins to learn how to work as a team on their first mission under the supervision of Kakashi. The exoticjutsu(ninja techniques), stylized fights and slapstick comedy will keep anyNarutofan happy. (Well worth it)
『Got my package in like three days. It was also in pristine condition. I would gladly purchase it again and plan on getting all of the boxed sets on Amazon. I love Inuyasha!! :)』

(My child loves it.)
『The series is pretty good and I enjoy as well as my daughter who I bought it for.』

Season 2 of Inuyasha is one of my favorite seasons of all time! My especially favorite episodes are of when we first meet Koga of the demon wolf tribe, Kagura the wind sorceress, when Inyuyasha transforms into a demon when his sword breaks,&when Inuyasha faces his fathers old enemy&uses the backlash wave! But my number 1 favorite episode is Sango's Suffering and Kohaku's Life; for in that episode we see Kagome&Sango naked... and what's so LOL funny is that Miroku&Inuyasha get clobbered by them! "It was worth the pain; that was a wonderful sight we just saw!" Cracks me up everytime! :D

Plus I think it's just great to have the entire Inuyasha Seasons on DVD; since you don't have to worry about having them recorded on your old VHS tapes! That is because I'm a collector;&I love having DVD's of all of my favorite shows&movies!』

(Great for ANY Inuyasha lover!)
『This season of inuyasha is just as good as the first! The first season was pretty much the introduction of the characters and plot but in this season the story really kicks off! You also get to meet new characters too. This season is about how Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kirara, Inuyasha, and Kagome continue their search for the shards of the Sacred Jewel. Their task has not been made any easier by Naraku, who continually seems to be inventing newer and more dangerous ways to thwart them. Theres adventure, romance, and fantasy that make this season so awesome!

There is also special footage, character introduction, textless opening and ending, the 1st movie trailer (sadly the trailer is in japanese), and the 27 episodes in this box set.

If you bought the first season you have to buy this one! Trust me, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED!

(More characters, more action and another excellent season of InuYasha!)
『There are not many long running anime series that I find wonderful but for "InuYasha"" is one of those special titles that is what you can call a total package. Cool characters, cool storyline, cool animation, cool art background... A good balance of everything that you can want in an anime.

But it's something that I expected no less coming from a manga series from Rumiko Takahashi, one of my favorite manga-ka's in Japan known for anime TV series hits such as "Urusei Yatsura", "Maison Ikkoku", "Ranma 1/2 and "InuYasha".

I have to be truthful and say that I am actually a late bloomer to the "InuYasha"" TV series. As a big fan of Rumiko Takahashi's earlier works and "Ranma 1/2 really helping me get into anime nearly 16 years ago, having enjoyed the three previous hits, I felt that I enjoyed them so much, what if I didn't enjoy this new series (which aired in Japan back in 2000)? So, nearly a decade I have caught a few episodes that would air on television but never watched the series from the beginning and what better time to do it but now.

"INUYASHA - SECOND SEASON BOX SET" comprises of episodes 28 through 54 which the viewer can watch with Japanese or English voice over.

In the second season, we are introduced to even more characters and storylines that deal with those characters. The episodes can be classified people joining InuYasha's side, others joining Naraku's side and Sesshomaru's side.

Without spoiling the storyline, the episodes of season 2 focus on the new characters and InuYasha's adventures to find Naraku. Also, a good number of episodes are dedicated towards InuYasha learning how to use his sword, the Tetsusaiga. As for Sesshomaru, he learns about his sword, the Tenseiga but also trying to take InuYasha's sword.

So, the second season of "InuYasha" was easily enjoyable as things really start to ramp up action-wise as more characters are introduces and Naraku does what he can to defeat InuYasha's group. And as much as Sesshomaru is a villain as well, you also start to see him differently than the way he was in Season 1.

Now there are two versions of these box sets. The first is this regular edition and then there is a limited deluxe edition for each season that comes out with a certain item. For the second season, the deluxe edition comes with the Hanko Blocks.

Also, for those wondering if there is any version between this re-release and the 2005 Season 2 release, I don't think so.

VIDEO&AUDIO:

For an anime created back in 2003, the second season of episodes holds up pretty well since it has only been six years since it aired on television. There are some stair effect on edges which may be due to the upconverting from my Blu-ray player but overall, the colors are vibrant and the overall animation was done quite well.

If you are a big Rumiko Takahashi fan, you know what to expect from her character designs and the animation was well done.

As for the audio, audio is presented in 2.0 and both languages are done quite well. The English dubbed seems a bit more clearer and a little louder coming through my front speakers over the Japanese track but overall, it's a purely dialogue driven anime and there are no 5.1ch tracks, so you get the dialogue in stereo. For "Ranma 1/2 fans, you will see the reunion of Ranma 1/2 voice actor Kappei Yamaguchi (Ranma) return as the voice for InuYasha which was pretty cool and also Noriko Hidaka ("Ranma 1/2 character Akane) as Kikyo.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

There are a few special features inluded:

* INUYASHA SPECIAL FOOTAGE - In Japan, especially after a long season, some series tend to have special episodes which condenses the more important episodes in order to get those viewers prepared for the following season (or season finale). The first special shown on Japanese television for InuYasha focuses on what happened in Season 1.
* CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS - A text and picture (sketches of the characters) which you can click on via your remote and read a brief character summary.
* MOVIE TRAILER - This trailer is for the second film.
* TEXTLESS OPENING - Starting with episode 35, InuYasha's second opening theme is "I Am" by hitomi
* TEXTLESS ENDING - Starting with episode 42, InuYasha's third ending theme features "Dearest" by Ayumi Hamasaki.

I feel that when it comes to an anime television series based on a Rumiko Takahashi manga, you really can't go wrong. Her first three are classics in their own right and "InuYasha" will surely join the others as not only popular hit manga series but also great anime TV series of all time. There are not too many manga creators who have a lot of their works get the anime adaptation that spawn many films, CD drama series and soundtracks and also a lot of merchandise. For Rumiko Takahashi, she's had three decades worth of series that have lasted for a long time and even today, fans still crave her works because they can be watched any time and they are good now as they were then.

But when it comes to "InuYasha", where I've had such a strong affinity towards her previous releases and even "Ranma 1/2, I have to admit, "InuYasha" is a solid series and there was not many episodes that were bland or "OK", they were all very good and again, there are not many TV series where I want to continue watching nearly every episode in one sitting.

So, everything is fantastic about this series but are there any negatives? Well, compared to current VIZ Media releases such as "DEATH NOTE" or "Busou Renkin" Season Box Sets, they do add the interviews with the English dub voice talent but considering those were 2008 releases and this was released back in 2004. I think VIZ has learned throughout the years and have given fans what they want with current releases. But for this older release, it's a classic and you do get special features, just not a lot.

The second season was quite enjoyable as there was more action, more humor but also because the first season established character development for each of the main characters, the second season introduces more characters but yet still keeping the core relationships intact.

InuYasha, Kagome and Kikyo. Miroku and Sango. And then, whatever brotherhood rivalry continues between InuYasha and Sesshomaru, this second season definitely had a lot more to offer.

Overall, an exciting second season and for fans of "InuYasha" or Rumiko Takahashi's work, this second season box set is easy to recommend. Definitely worth checking out!』

『Together with their friends Miroku, Shippo, Sango and Kirara, Inuyasha and Kagome continue their search for the shards of the Sacred Jewel. Their task, however, is not made any easier by Naraku who continually seems to be inventing newer and more dangerous ways to thwart them. Adventure and romance, demons and fantasy--come enter the world of INUYASHA in this second exciting season.』
『Hearts and swords are the focus of the second season ofInu-Yasha, Rumiko Takahashi's popular "feudal fairy tale." Inu-Yasha's icily elegant half-brother Sesshomaru discovers that the sword their demon father left him, the Tenseiga, is useless to him in battle. It doesn't kill, but heals--an imaginative twist typical of Takahashi. Inu-Yasha has to learn to master his sword, the Tetsusaiga, that was forged from his father's fang. When the monster Goshinki bites the Tetsusaiga in two, the addled smith Totosai reforges it, using a fang of Inu-Yasha's to join the shards. Inu-Yasha must learn to wield the newly heavy sword that reflects his increased responsibility: his father is no longer protecting him, so he must use his own strength.

Inu-Yasha also faces two powerful internal struggles. He begins to question his desire to become a full demon after he transforms into a mindless killing machine. The Tetsusaiga keeps his demon-blood in check, and Inu-Yasha is grateful for its strength. But he has no exterior support in the battle within his heart: Does he love the resurrected Kikyo, whom he adored 50 years earlier, or Kagome, who has shared so many adventures and who loves him? These struggles demand more than the battles with the evil Naraku and his avatars.

The adventures, emotional crises, and ferocious battles are balanced against the friendship and slapstick comedy Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo provide. Through it all, Inu-Yasha remains the impulsive hot-head viewers love--whom only Kagome can keep in check. (Unrated, suitable for ages 13 and older: violence, grotesque imagery, brief nudity)
