Everyone else's review is spot on - the pan is cute and easy to use, but you need to bake the "bottom" half about 10 minutes longer than the "top" half. I hope Wilton reads all of these reviews and considers splitting this pan into two pans so that you aren't pouring batter into a hot pan when starting the second half. I found that the second half didn't rise as well because of this, so fill it a bit closer to the top than the "bottom" half. You may end up trimming more "dome", but if it doesn't rise all the way up the sides you won't have the bottom part of the "swirl". I got one cake plus 12 cupcakes out of 2 box mixes.
This made a super cute 1st birthday cake for my son's birthday. Easy to fill, cake comes out easily and assembles beautifully! All the guests raved about how cute the cake was. My husband and I have decided that we will make this cake pan a tradition in our family...everytime you have a birthday you receive your own personal, giant birthday cupcake! Uses 1 box of cake and a little over 1 tub of frosting (get 2 to be safe!)
The cupcake cake pan is a good pan. The cake takes a while to cook, but the cake removes from the pan easily.
I received this pan a gift from a friend. I absolutely love it. I design cakes as a hobby and this is one of my most popular cakes. I have found that I get better results if I bake the parts seperately. The top swirl takes a lot less time to bake than the base. The possibilities for decorating are endless. I've posted some of my finished projects for inspiration.
I suggest practicing once or twice before presenting this cake for an event. I made a couple prior to my daughter's first birthday&it was trial&error. The final product was great&everyone loved it!

Corelle is the greatest! I've had a set of Corelle for 7 years and not on e broken dish and I still love the pattern. This "hot dots" pattern is new and I got two sets for my daughter who has a 2 and a 4 year old and almost all their wedding china has been broken, chipped or disappeared. She picked out this pattern for her new house and she is delighted with it. It arrived on time and she absolutely loves it and can't believe it looks so good and doesn't break. I highly recommend any Corelle products.

This set is so cute&really is chip&stain resistant. Love it!!! :)
I bought these for my toddler since I wanted to get away from melamine. With the melamine plates, if I wanted to warm her food in the microwave I would have to first dish the food onto a regular plate, then put it on her melamine plate, thus dirtying up two plates for one person. Not very efficient. So I made the plunge to corelle dishware, and the Hot Dot pattern was the most appealing to kids in my opinion. The pattern is definitely fun, and while it's not as eye-popping as melamine would be, I do think that the dishes look just like the photos. I only wish that corelle would come out with more patterns appealing to kids. The packaging left something to be desired, and I can see how dishes can be damaged in shipping. But fortunately my dishes arrived unscathed. So overall the dishes are exactly what I would expect, especially at the good price I got here on Amazon.
I love my new plates. The dots are awesome. The plates are very strong. Even though 1 plate was broken during shipping. I still kept them because I like them and it was going to take too long to replace it. They are hard to come by, but I still want another set. Amazon's price was great.

This bottle is wonderful for carrying water or other beverages. The wide mouth accomodates icecubes of all sizes. I have not had a problem with this bottle sweating.

Three of these gems arrived this week and each was a different size. This one is the middle size and it is just perfect for old big mouth who has a constant water logged habit. Every time he gets near water he starts panting. Moreover, he is not of any canine variety nor any other four legged creature either. He's just a two legged mutt who likes to drink. At least now we do not have to worry about bpa or many other of those bad things in our society. It is light, handy and easy to fill even when you use ice cubes. The cap screws tightly and it does not leak. The little clip is somewhat inexpensive but it compares favorably with the overall price of the bottle. I was a tad disappointed that using dishwasher was not encouraged. To me that would be a nonstarter but then I did not design it. Perhaps it has to do with the 210 steel. Regardless, it fits all our needs and is a far better container than glass (breaks easily) or plastic.
I've spent days researching reusable bottles and all their pros and cons. You can spend upwards of $30 on just one bottle and still find that people are having issues with it, from strange tastes to leaking tops to peeling paint and easily dented/broken materials. When I found these bottles at this low price, I thought it was too good to be true, but it wasn't much of an investment to try them, so I did. These are a great find! If you wash them as recommended (baking soda and vinegar and/or a hot water rinse) there's no odd taste to your water. The opening is wide enough for ice. The lids fit snuggly and don't leak. The material is sturdy enough that it doesn't dent easily. The only drawback is that they aren't double-walled so they will sweat and they do get hot when left in the sunlight. I just plan to use a cozy with mine when I'm in the hot sun. I love these bottles. They were definitely a good purchase!
Overall these are pretty good. Quality is good for the price. But the Stainless is kind of thin. The wide mouth is great. My biggest beef is that you are not supposed to put them in the dishwasher. I'll do it anyway to see what happens. If I have problems with them I'll update my review.
I have three different size stainless bottle's, this is my favorite everyday walk around bottle. Not to large or to small, a very comfortable size. It also fits nicely into my car cup holder. The wide mouth is easy to drink out of, and easy to fill or slip ice cubes into. The cap has wide threads on it, and is very easy to take off and put back on again. It only took three half or 180 degree turns to open. The stainless steel clip does not look weak to me, as some reviewer's mentioned. But this is a non issue, since I took it off and don't use it anyway. When filled with ice water, your hand will get cold holding it plus the bottle will start sweating. Wrapping it in a quality paper towel that does not fall apart like Bounty worked well for me, plus it still fit's into my cup holder. This bottle is all stainless steel inside and out, there is no paint on it. No problem with peeling, which is fairly common with painted bottles.
When I first got it I soaked it in a vinegar solution after washing it out first. The water taste's great, no metallic taste whatsoever. These Stainless bottles are so much better than plastic, or aluminum.
This bottle and the 27 oz. model which I also have, are both great. I would highly recommend them both.

The rice cooker does exactly what I wanted it to do: make rice. It make decent rice (good texture, no scorching) in a relatively short amount of time. I can cook the rest of the meal without worrying about adjusting the temperature on a pot of rice. Clean-up is a breeze and you can't beat the price. Nothing fancy - it just works.
I've have had an early version of this rice cooker for 15 years. But its the last 5 years that I have used it frequently.
Needless to say the instructions disappeared years ago. The first I'd heard of soaking rice was recently.

It makes perfect rice for me. I make brown or wild rice, even an exotic black Canadian rice. I don't soak or rinse the rice (but may start).

First I coat pot with olive oil spray. Measure in my water, add measured rice, usually a 2:1 water to rice ratio. I don't use the internal markings on pot.....

Putting the water in first has eliminated any burning. Making the max amount has always made a little mess. So, I'm buying a bigger size rice cooker!

so far, so good with this rice cooker. it's really simple and easy to use...i've tried both brown rice and quinoa with success. just turn on the switch, go do something else, and about a 25 minutes later, you have some food to eat. it's saved me a ton of burnt-rice-pan-scrubbing, which i love.
Our family has owned 4 rice cookers in 30 years and this cooks the best rice of all of them. With only 2 to cook for it's the prefect size, quick and very easy to use. The secret is once the cooker shuts off let the cooked rice sit covered for 15 minutes. GREAT rice every time.
This is one of those cheap little gizmos that actually turns out to be a wonder of science.

It cooks rice perfectly every time. Put the rice in, put some water in, and it seems to know what to do. How do they do that?

This Compost keeper is the perfect size for a kitchen counter and keeps the compost absolutely odor free. I liked it so much, I ordered one for a fellow composter.
Although the ceramic compost keeper is adequate for the purpose, I found I had to glue the banding on the lid to keep it secure.It is however much more atractive than the plastic containers we were using.
I have been using this compost keeper on my counter for about a month now. It is perfect for collecting my kitchen stuff for the compost bin and it looks nice too. It cleans very easily and does not stain. (I put a lot of coffee grounds and tea bags in it). The handle seems pretty sturdy to me. It has never come off and I have no problems carrying the full container outside with no accidents. I have not yet had to put a new filter in the lid, but I do empty it daily. I would highly recommend this product.
The rubber ring inside the lid falls off constantly and is hard to get back on. Without the ring there is not a tight seal. The lid is distorted and does not easily fit onto the container.

I bought this crock about a month ago because I was sick of having a bowl of food sitting on my counter. I love it! It is attractive enough to leave on my counter (I keep hoping no one mistakes it for a cookie jar and reaches in!), it's durable, and easy to clean. I haven't had any problems with the handle, and I empty it almost every day. To clean it, I just take out the charcoal filter and put it in the dishwasher. There is no odor, even if you forget to empty it for a few days. It's not the right time of year for fruit flies, but I figure I get them every year anyway. If they're attracted to this, maybe it will at least keep them contained! I would recommend it to anyone.

purchased these for the kids, instead of walking around with plastic bottles, they are great and they love them. Trying to reduce our carbon footprint.
This bottle is made of durable stainless steel with rubber rim in the middle, one click and it's easy to open without slipping (evening while I'm driving). Put some ice in it if you're like to enjoy cold beverage w/o the sweat, content stay cold for good 10 to 12 hours. very satisfied. got one for everybody in my family, even my 2 years baby love it.
We have tried to replace our old habits of buying bottled water. I bought some safe plastic bottles and a good water filter, still we had to buy water. then i got some of these and they keep our water cold for about 24 hours and they don't sweat all over the place. We will never use plastic again. Also the price on these is a very good value.
These bottles are great. I purchased two of them, one for me and one for my wife to use as sport bottles in the fitness center. they keep water cold all day long, and if you put ice in them the ice will last for about four hours. The pop up lid works great and only requires one hand to pick up, pop open the lid and drink.
I bought this because nothing else keeps drinks cold like stainless steel. It was a little pricey, but worth it. I can't believe how long it keeps drinks cold. I had dinner one night and used it during dinner. I went to bed and woke up the next morning and there was still ice in the bottle and that was 13 hours later. Now that is what I call insulated!! Love the large opening to drink out of. Highly recommend this bottle.

I got a great deal on this product. I wish the small pot was a little tiny bit bigger as a hot dog barely fits in it. But overall it is a good set and I hope to have it a long time.
These pots and pans are fabulous! I'm just upset that it took me so long to purchase them. When it says that the pots and pans are nonstick they really are. I will never buy a cheap set of pots and pans again,they just don't last. These are heavy and very durable. I will definitely buy the oval pot and skillet next. To anyone who has not purchased these yet WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!
Overall, I am pleased with the cookware set. It is light weight, heats quickly, and nothing sticks. It's good quality for the price.

I have had many different pans, and these are by far the best. I don't like that they aren't really recommended for the dishwasher, but let me tell you, they are so easy to clean. The cook so even, they make food taste better! I love Rachael Ray products! Absolutely satisfied! Amazon is great too.

(Effective and Easy to Use)

I have used electric and manual can openers and this one, with its large padded handle, is very easy to use and leaves a surprisingly smooth edge. My earlier manual openers left little kinks around the edge of the lid. Another good point is that the handles spread open almost 180 degrees. That's not helpful in opening cans but it makes it much easier to clean the cutting wheel and gears.
To be completely fair, though, the product description states "Safe to use in dishwasher" and the delivered product clearly states "Hand wash only." Amazon should correct the product description.
This critter opens 8 cat food cans a day, day-in and day-out along with an assortment of pantry products for the family. Looks like I need a second one because we all wait at the dishwasher for the dry cycle.
So far, it has held out over a year with no rust or fading.

Only drawback is that the opener has cut off more cat whiskers than my p-38.

We've been using an electric can opener for years now, and it's all of a sudden decided to stop going around the can rim. I contemplated getting another electric opener, but saw all the great reviews for this one and figured I'd give it a try. I was definitely not disappointed. It works much easier and quicker than an electric opener does!

Very smooth can opening, no jagged edges to mess with, and, like I stated, much quicker than an electric. It's a tad expensive but well worth the money. I would highly recommend this product -- good for kids and adults with hand difficulties too!
I did not used many times Oxo steel can opener, because I am not good fan of using can foods much, but everytime I used it, this thing works well. I owned 2 different can openers before from other companies, but they just did not last no more than 3 or 4 months and also they got rusted. I ordered this product after reading reviews.

Great product. Cooks the pizzas perfectly without heating up the kitchen. Has saved us $ in heating/cooling. Better results than the oven.
I spent a long time looking for a way to get a reasonable pizza that wasn't soggy, was cooked consistently on the top and the bottom, and didn't take an hour of prep work to get right. I've been down the pizza pan route - the ones with the holes, the ones without the holes, the thick ones, etc. I've done the pizza stones. They did an ok job with the crust - just don't drop them or try to clean them with cold water when the stone is still hot. They also take a while to heat up.

The presto turned out to be what I was looking for. I have 3 of them now, so that I can cook up more than one pizza at the same time. I've had these for a number of years now - no issues.

I've used them for frozen pizzas and for making homemade pizzas from dough.

Downsides - if you want to make a really big pizza, you are restricted to the size of the pan. Square pizzas - may need to do some cutting so that they do not catch as the pan rotates. If you only have one, and you need to make multiple pizzas, you will need to wait about 5 minutes for the pan to cool before starting your next one - or by a couple like I did.
This product provides fast, easy, and delicious pizza. It saves you approximately 15 minutes per pizza as you do not have to preheat an oven. You simply set it and forget it; it dings when the pizza is done. It also functions as a toaster oven for melts, wraps, etc... I recommend California Pizza Kitchen as they have the most diverse selection of Pizzas. For crispy, cook 12 minutes on "DUAL" and 2 minutes on "Bottom." Enjoy!!!! I know I do
Wonderful product!! We use it almost every night. It cooks all types of pizzas just like the pizza shops!! The bake and rise type frozen pizzas come out especially well.
I bought one of these years ago and have loved it ever since. Though most reviews only talk about it cooking pizza I've found it useful for heating taco shells, cooking chicken nuggets / soy nuggets, reheating pizza of course, reheating a sandwich, making quesadillas, grilled cheese, and on and on.

I highly recommend this product and am actually purchasing a second because I gave the first away. According to my ex-husband, who has the original, it is a better tool for a bachelor than a microwave and oven combined. He has cooked almost everything he eats on it.

Regarding a few of the other comments:

To avoid browning of the pan put down parchment paper first.

If you're concerned about scratches, use parchment paper and if you don't like to use it immediately remove the pan from the cooker when you're done cooking and clean it while it's still hot. That way it won't require scrubbing.

For accelerating the timer you can move it forward, it won't break it so don't worry about that. Though you should unplug it when you're done just to avoid using electricity unnecessarily.

Overall I highly recommend it and guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Have a set of Wostoff knives and they needed sharpening. Read various reviews on sharpeners and chose this one. Worked great. Just be sure and read the instructions!
This appliance really put a good edge on some dull knives. Great value for the money and easy to maintain.
Will definitely make your knife sharp and curved as you can't precisely control the way you move the blade, the angle and pressure. If you hold it just for 1/4s it will eat the blade. Probably will be good as sharpener for your grandpa's axe, but not for these expensive and delicate knifes you can purchase here at Amazon.
